This review is based on my experience with Bell Family Dentistry. On July 25th, 2019, I went in for my first visit with Dr. Moore (she goes by the name Moore because her name is unique), and was greeted by the office manager, whom I believe is Darlene. Everything started off well, I went in, did the paperwork, and was immediately brought to back where in a two-hour time frame, they managed to only take x-rays. After the x-rays, Dr. Moore came and spoke with me, not really about my teeth, but about her background (like I want to hear your resume), then briefly said I need a deep cleaning and a mouth guard. Dr. Moore then went into the new laser technology they have for deep cleaning and how much it’ll cost me out of pocket. The total was around $1,600.00 after my insurance pays their part. That’s a lot of money for a deep cleaning, so I started calculating figuring out activities I should cut out for a month to pay for this. I needed to make sure it will not interfere with my savings plan because I’m preparing to purchase my first home. Now I was willing to pay the $1,600 that day because I went to Dr. Moore to get a deep cleaning in the first place. Then Darlene comes to me and says they have a payment plan where so long as you pay within the first 12 months, they will not charge me interest. After recently having several surgeries (within the past 1.5 years) hospitals and other doctor offices also offered a payment, so I’m think this is cool. Darlene then has me sign a piece of paper. Approximately 15 minutes later Darlene asks me to come to the desk to confirm my identity. I thought that was weird, but didn’t say anything because it's a dentist, you don’t expect these tactics at a dentist’s office. It turned out that their “payment plan” is a credit card. Darlene came back to tell me my credit limit and that’s when I realized what the “payment plan” really was. It wasn't explained to me as a credit card or line of credit or anything having to do with my credit or them needing to pull my credit. Granted, I’ll agree that I should’ve read what I was signing, you don’t think a dentist or doctor would try selling you a credit card. That’s something you expect when you walk into a bank or a clothing store. What’s next? Bankers are going to triage your health while you’re at the bank? I was so appalled that I started to leave. While I was in the office, on the phone attempting to cancel everything because it happened less than 20 minutes ago. I was speaking with a representative with Synchrony Bank, where the credit card was from, who completely understood what was going on. The Bank representative even said, “I don’t know why people keep misrepresenting this product.” On my out the door, I told Darlene what that representative said. I thought it would be a good idea to call Dr. Moore and speak with her directly to explain why I will never come back to her practice and to cancel my next appointment. A few days go by and Dr. Moore and I finally connect via the phone. During the conversation, Dr. Moore continued her verbal resume. There was one part of the phone conversation I found even more interesting, and it was when Dr. Moore admitted that they have been explaining this product this way for years. That’s a HUGE red flag. Our conversation ended with no resolution. Let’s fast forward to today, August 15, 2019. Darlene calls to remind me that I have an appointment tomorrow. After I explained that I cancelled it and really don’t want to anything to do with Dr. Moore or Darlene, she then started to say that she NEVER called it a payment plan and that she called it the Care Credit: credit card. When I explained that she’s now lying to me, she said “I’m sorry you feel that way” which puts the blame on me and not her for her actions. Shortly after she hung up in my face. Bell Family Dentistry gets a one star because of dishonest practices by misrepresenting a product, lying to me and calling me a liar.

Went there about a year and a half ago with a cavity on the right side of my mouth that hurt a bit when I chewed but wasn't that big of a deal. After the 2nd visit I had 5 teeth 2 in the left 1 in the middle and 2 on the right worked on. Wasn't able to use right side of mouth to chew at all anymore so I came back again, she messed with it then said I would adjust to the pain. A week later the middle filling fell out, and I decided never to go back. 2 weeks later the left filling fell out but with no problems chewing and no pain makes me wonder what she even did. About 6 months later right filling fell out with major pain and it hurt to drink water but consider my prior experience I was a little traumatized and didn't want to go back so i pushed a piece of the filling back in and that made it fine. It is now a year and a half later about. That finally fell out and now it hurts to drink water and there is a giant hole in my tooth on the right. Got a dentist appointment at Dr. Lin and they fixed everything and now unlike a year and a half ago I can actually chew things. Still hate dentists. Don't go here. This has got to be the worst dentist I know. How she has such high reviews baffle me.

I would say probably The Best over all Dental experience I've had in 20 years. Dr. Mariya. Was Pleasant and informative About Treatment, options and Costs. She took the time to make sure that I understood everything about my treatment and I found the costs to Be quite reasonable as compared to the Choo Choo Down the street. I was having a Molar extracted ( not a simple task) and she made sure I was adequately numbed (but not over) and explained the steps involved. . I was also sent home with extra packing, good detailed instructions on do's and don'ts and prescriptions for adequate meds. Upon waking up the next morning , aside of the expected tenderness my mouth felt the best it has in Months. The only thing I did not expect was I was there longer than expected. However with the individual service and the attention to detail it was a small price to pay.. I will return Bruce Kaufman... Phoenix I have returned several times since then for other work as well as cleanings and have never had less than outstanding service with the most reasonable pricing that I have encountered

Today, actually this afternoon I had a temporary crown come off. I call my dentist. Naturally, he was on his summer family vacation, for the next 10 days! I’ve known of Bell Family Dentistry for quite some time now. I drive right by it everyday getting on the southbound 51 from Bell Road. I stopped in this afternoon hoping I could be seen. I was greeted with a pleasant hello from the office manger, Darlene. I explained my situation and she asked me to have a seat. Much to my surprise, Darlene said she could work me in. A few minutes later, Dr. Aaron Stroh came out and invited me back to one of their working chairs. Dr. Stroh was extremely professional, yet down to earth and sincerely cared about helping me with resolve my situation. He explained his plan to clean the area, re-cement my crown and even repair a chipped tooth. 30 minutes later I was on my way home, with a new dentist, I might add. I highly recommend him. Please give him a chance!

I made an appointment for a second opinion with Dr Stroh. Upon my conversation with the front desk and the hygienist Jackie, I had my records sent directly to the office. I met Dr Stroh and his assistant today and I can tell you that I felt 100% positive that I made the correct choice. Dr Stroh is amazing. And by the way, not only do I NOT need a root canal, I scheduled a replacement crown which is much less than what I was quoted at my previous dentist office. I rate this office as kind, caring and genuine. I’m so glad I chose this as my next “all dental needs” home!!!

First off, Dr. Stroh is awesome! I have been to a few dentists and he is the first one who actually gave me treatment options and took the time to explain and educate me on what would be best for me. He then gave me the choice to make the best decision for me. I really appreciated his friendly and casual communication style. You can certainly see his enthusiasm and care for his clients come through! Also, all the support staff were great! They were easy to communicate with and made the process smooth and easy. Everything about the office was welcoming and simple.

Took care of work a local "corporate" dentistry office wanted 3 times as much to do(I lost insurance recently). Bell Family had friendly and accommodating staff, from reception, to hygienist, to dentist. Dr. Stroh was considerate of my time and when I told him I wasn't in a hurry, answered questions, went through the x-rays/photographs, and helped develop an understanding of what needed done and what I could be doing. It was as informative as it was personable, and I can genuinely say I will be glad to go to the dentist next time - and you don't hear that a lot.

The Dentist was so good at her job, I was very nervous and scared of an extraction, but the assistant that did my X-ray allowed me to squeeze her hand, the only downside was I was put in a room with just an open wall separating me from the front lobby allowing everyone to hear my whole conversation with my Dr. including all my overreacting so scared, but my infection was so bad the numbing was painful and I did not even feel the extraction. I would highly recommend this Dentistry to others. Good job team. I left happy and satisfied . Thanks Flo

Best dental experience ever. The front desk personnel was very friendly and checked to see my insurance benefits right away so there was no question about pricing. Jackie was so kind and very gentle. I have very bad jaw pain, making dental appointments very hard and scary for me and Jackie was so careful the whole time and stopped regularly to see how I was doing. The dentist himself was also very kind and knowledgeable, I felt like all of my questions were answered and I was very well taken care of. Definitely will recommend to everyone.

I have a dental cleaning done today. My dentist and staff are so friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable of what they do. I am looking for a dental office that I will feel I belong with them like a family. The name of the Dental office speaks itself the word family. I will stay here for as long as I live. I had an amazing experience with Bell Family Dentistry! I was nervous about finding a new dentist after a couple years, as I’d been with my previous dentist for over 20 years. Dr. Stroh made sure to get to know me personally & took his time talking to the hygienist, Jackie, prior to her doing my cleaning. Jackie was kind and gentle during my cleaning making sure I always knew what she was going to do & why. Their entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back!

Growing up I fought to go to a dentist. I met Dr.Stroh in 2017, he was kind, compassionate and patient. Therefore, giving me the courage to walk back into a dentist office. In 2017, my gums were residing with beginning stages of gingivitis. With monthly deep cleaning every six months, my gums become stronger and healthier. Dr. Stroh has given me the confidence to smile again. Don’t let your dental hygiene slip away from you. I highly recommend him and his team.

I’m 55 years old and have moved around the country and have had so many different dentists over the years. Dr. Moore (Dr. Mariya Murdzheva) is by far the BEST dentist of them all. She can do it all. I feel lucky to have found this dentist because I’ve had a few issues with my teeth as I’ve gotten older and I had 100% confidence that Dr. Moore could help me keep my teeth. I’ve even brought my mother and significant other to her as well and they like her too.

Hello there... I had some implants put in by Dr. Stroh. He and his assistant Berta did a great job. I'm very happy with the work they did. I'm a big baby, but they made me sooo comfortable and it did not hurt. I had very little swelling afterwards. From Darlene at the front desk, to Roberta who did my x-rays, to Dr. M who proactively addressed all my concerns, my experience here was the best I've had in my adult life. They took immediate ownership of my ongoing tooth pain issue, made a game plan that works for me, and answered alllll my questions (and more.) As a first time patient I was very pleased with my experience. The office staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The appointment process and paperwork were seamless. Aaron Stroh is a friendly, knowledgable, and conservative dentist who isn't driven by upselling services like most of the corporately owned practices. Enough praise cannot be given to Phoenix's best, and most thorough dental hygienist Jackie Straub.

Dr. Stroh and his team are wonderful! I’ve had some terrible experiences at previous dentists but my visit to Bell Family Dentistry was a complete 180 from what I have experienced in the past. Came to this Dentist office based on good recommendation. This place is great. The reviews were right on how good this place is. The hygienist Jackie did a great job of cleaning my teeth, very considerate while doing it. The Dentist Dr Aron Stroh was very professional and explained how to improve my detail care. My wife and I will be a lifelong patient of this office.

I was a patient of Dr. Strohs up in Prescott before he bought this practice. I followed him as a patient. The drive time is well worth it for a trusted provider. At my cleaning they found I needed two fillings, Dr. Stroh was able to fit me in same day to avoid me having to make the drive twice. The office is pristine clean and the staff is lovely.

Dr.Stroh is just incredible, his numbing technique is so good that it's almost pain free! He works quickly, diligently, but more importantly, with passion. One of those people who really enjoy and care about their craft. The hygienist and his assistant were friendly, welcoming and immediately relatable. 10/10 will return.

These folks are great; I've never felt so well taken care of at a Dentist's before. Jackie was a total pro with the picks, and Dr. Stroh really takes his time--which is so rare these days, when most other physicians are in-and-out in a few minutes. On my vist to get a crown reseated, the staff was friendly, professional. Roberta was great, made me as comfortable as possible for xrays( I gag a lot). Dr Stroh was great. there's only one dentist and sometimes she gets busy with other patients so you could be waiting in the chair for a long time otherwise everything is good.
