Worst experience ever. I bought a couch and an arm chair from them in August 2021 (despite the horrible reviews, the sales guy convinced us that they have improved their service since the horrible reviews in d past). They did a good job in delivering the furniture 1 week before the agreed time. However the legs of the chair and the couch were different, we had asked for light wood color for both (like we saw in thier store), they delivered dark brown on the chair and plastic legs on the couch. They convinced me to accept the delivery and they will send someone to change the legs the following day. The delivery person damaged our entrance door, trying to shove the furniture in, but I could move the furniture easily through the door myself, proving that they were just not bothered about anything and were very rude. Post which i have sent over 50 mails and calls to the same sales guy (Denzel), who kept promising me to send someone the next day and was surprised each of the 50 times when no one showed up. Having wasted weeks with Denzel, I decided to go to the ombudsman and made an official complaint, they chased this store for months and today have closed the case due to no response to their multiple requests from Bellville furniture. I have attached a screenshot of thier response for new customers to read, as a proof of my horrible experience with Bellville furniture. Since this incident last year, i have shopped from other stores, we bought a few beds, another couch and various other items for our new home, i am very glad that I chose to place a small order with Bellville furniture and will never come back to them. Warning all new customers to not fall for any of thier sales tactics.

The service I received at Bellville Furniture was appalling. I ordered a corner unit, which different dimensions from their standard size. I provided them with a diagram with dimensions to ensure that everything was correct. When the couch was delivered and the dimensions were incorrect. I dealt with Victor and his customer service was shocking. He refused to admit that the unit was incorrect despite the diagram. He never apologized for the inconvenience that was caused. When I realized that Victor was not going to assist me, I asked for his boss's contact details. Victor informed me that they are not allowed to give me the contact number or email address for his boss, Jean. I eventually spoke to Rasheed, who works in their factory who acknowledged that they made a mistake and made the arrangements with me to collect the unit so that it could be fixed. I received the unit and it was correct. To date, I have not received a call from Victor or Jean to apologize for the error on their side and the inconvenience they caused. I will definitely not be purchasing anything from Bellville Furniture again.

POOR POOR SERVICE. Ordered a couch, paid for it in full.... told I must wait 7 weeks . Supposed to be delivered today but instead of a couch I received a phone call telling me that they only had it in black or light grey and I therefore need to take one of these or wait another couple of weeks for the one I ordered. UNACCEPTABLE. How do companies that offer these inferior services stay in business. Shocking... HELLO PETER will get to hear about this as will FACEBOOK and any other medium I can find to warn people of this second grade service 6.2 - Incorrect couch eventually delivered with substandard fabric and couch is already squeecking and sagging. Called Belville furnishers to inform them that it was not the one I had ordered and was told that it would be collected. 2weeks later still waiting for feedback only to be told that the sales person who had been dealing with this sales had left and the replacement had no idea there was a problem. The saga goes on.... Now, I am heading to the comsumer protection board for advise and action. We can not accept this level of service. It is UNACCEPTABLE

Low quality furniture cushioning, I bought a California Daybed. Currently retailing for R18,600.00 last year November. Daybed cushion has given me issues after 3 weeks already. Sent back once, they added some more paddding. Second time same issue. No support in the middle, hurts your back, sinks in. I have sent it in 3 times to get fixed since. Issue not resolved, even after sending it back to factory who found the issue. They replaced it, still same issue. I ended up putting a camping mattress under cushion for support. Service has been great and very helpful however after sending it back few times its not resolved. Paying a premium for low quality product seems to be the business they are running. I am very disappointed in low quality product and very uncomfortable furniture being sold at premium rate. Rather go buy at Coricraft or @home atleast you lnow its quality and cost the same.

My first and very last time buying from Bellville Furniture. The staff in the shop is really friendly, but the lady working with online orders called Zee does not know the first thing about customer service. Never calls back. When you eventually get hold of her she assures you they have your order in stock and they are just waiting for your money to reflect in their bank. One day later when you arrive to collect your order after the funds reflects in their bank account they suddenly does not have it in stock and it is on its way from a supplier and will only be there much later. They also only have one driver because all of their drivers are sick.....I know when it’s just a story to buy time... I was in Cape Town for the day and wanted to collect today. Now I have to drive all the way back when they eventually have the item and decide to let me know whats going on.

Was looking at living room set, found this place online, however, wasn't impressed with theirs services. When entered, it took them 10min to greet and then another 10min to actually ask us what it is we are looking for. This place is over priced and their not that professional. We looked at a set that was advertised online from them and instore they were R2000 more expensive. When I asked the sales person regarding the price, his answer was, "it's fixed prices" not even willing to negotiate a slightly better price or even honour their online advertised price and if we had to purchase here, we would of waited weeks for our items to arrive. We ended up buying from DecoFurn where we had an amazing experience, friendly, professional and eager people at DecoFurn, we didn't even think twice to pay the full price at DecoFurn and they arranged same day deliver...

The worst furniture experience one could have. I went to Belville furniture's in the beginning of October and seeking a couch, a gentleman gave me card and told me that it would take 2 weeks to make. I returned a week later to actually purchase the couch and was handed a sample book of patterns to choose from and then was told After paying that it would take 4-6 weeks. The 6th week has passed and after me contacting them demanding an update, I get a call from another person telling me that the material that was picked for the couch was discontinued and the blame was placed the person who assisted me for not calling me to inform me. The advertising for this establishment is strong but when it comes to the actual service delivery it is the complete opposite. This establishment does not even deserve a star. I would not recommend to anyone.

Terrible terrible service, I will not recommend this shop to anyone...please don't waste your time here. I bought a couch and paid for it with delivery on the 7th Jan, the sales consultant messed up the order and ordered the wrong colour, I re-placed the order with the correct colour, spoke to so many people they never phone back, spoke to Marius who is apparently the manager but still never call me back and it is now the 6th of March and still no delivery of couch and no feedback! I am waiting over two months for one couch, they make you sign a "refund policy" when you purchase...well for obvious reasons! Don't make the mistake of going there please, they have lovely furniture but their service is terrible and everything has to be made up for You, you end up waiting forever and a day! DON'T BUY FROM THEM!

Im in 2 minds on how to rate these people. My experience with them was like a roller coaster ride. We purchased a headboard and 2 bedside cabinets on the 18th of july and was promised it would be done in 3-4 weeks. Just past the 4th Aug when we contacted them to follow-up is when things went sour. They Could or would not give us a straight answer,had to follow up as no one called back or followed up. We were told they have no contact with the factory (later found out that was a lie) so basically just had to wait.finally received our order after the 6th week. So my advice to anyone considering to buy from them to just be prepared to wait longer then what was promised and also dont expect staff to be helpful. The quality of the products was good so im at least happy with that. Personally I wont go back.

They deserve a 0 for customer service. Was supposed to get my couch last Saturday (which was after the advised 5 weeks of waiting ordered couch on 28 September ) only to be informed 3 days before they don't have the fabric on stock. I chose then a different fabric, and waspromised couch will be done today (6/10/2020) only to to hear at the day, and only because I phoned in again to hear what's happening, that I won't get it! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THERE UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND REALLY BAD SERVICE!!! Also don't try to contact anyone via mail,the staff is apparently not trained to reply to emails. Today is 14 November and I still have not gotten the correct item.

So we purchased a couch at the end of Jan. The quality and price of the couch is great! No complaints there. However, be aware that your order will be late and filled with unrealistic expectations of when it might arrive. The call centre service is bad, after calling numerous times asking for an update, they never were able to and never followed up on my requests to let me know what's happening or what is the hold-up. All they had to do was, follow up with the manufacturer and let me know what's happening. 0 follow-up from their side. If the client expectations were managed then I wouldn't have felt in the dark and probably be more understanding to wait.

These people are incompetent and very unreliable! The branch manger Lizzel is extremely rude and of no use to customer's, iv waited over a month for a order that had not even been started after paying the full layby amount and now that i want a refund they are sending me from pillar to post. For the past 3 weeks now iv been waiting on a refund that he said would take 7 working days. I have to constantly call these people and still they arent given me a valid reason for not processing my refund. Which im beginning to think i won't get,so save yourselves the time,money and frustration by not going anywhere close to the doors of this business!

I'm not even thrilled by the way the salesman gave us a wrong delivery date. He asked us to pay full payment upfront inorder to have our couches delivered in the next week and next he calls asking not to be bothered or pressure for delivery because which is now in 2 weeks. So much from someone who seemed so enthusiastic about selling the couches. They do have great furniture but if you're looking for a quick or immediate delivery forget it. You've got to wait for 6 weeks at least. I'm a very disappointed customer considering this was my second purchase from them.

At first we were very hesitant to buy from Bellville Furniture after reading the shocking reviews online, but our experience was vastly different. We were helped very efficiently in store, our custom order was placed and - despite the lockdown! - they delivered our couch within the given timeframe. There was no issue with delivery either - it was convenient, smooth and communication was excellent. We have now been enjoying our beautiful, comfortable couch for the past month and could not be more satisfied. Highly recommended, and excellent value for money!

Literally the worst service I have experienced in my life. Waited 3 months for stock for an item that the promised me every week will be on it's way. Never return phone calls. After 3 months they tell me to order online. I place order and make payment. A week later I phone and they nothing about my order. Manager is never available to speak to. After all this, they end up telling me they will never receive stock again for the item I ordered. I am yet to be refunded. Avoid doing business with this company! Beyond unprofessional!

Not even worth 1 star... Worst customer service ever. Have been waiting over 6 weeks for delivery of couch without any feedback. For more than a week they have just dodged questions. either the person that helped last time has left the company or they are just never in store when you phone. Still not sure if they actually started building the couch. Edit: almost 3 weeks later and still waiting on any feedback regarding the couch or refund... Blame is still being shifted and no one knows whats happening...

The worst service I have ever recieved. They do not answer there phones. I have been waiting for my couch for 4 weeks now. I paid a deposit and later an EFT whereby I requested Proof of purchase, after 3 weeks of waiting no proof of purchase or any details about my couch. They were going to send my couch today but I had to call them to find out if they have it or not. They could not tell me where the couch is. Still waiting, No feedback. I will never recommend this place to anyone

Bought a California day Bed from Bellville furnitures in November 2020 and I was assisted by Bernardo who was extremely helpful and kept me up to date with everything, I received a call from him 2 weeks ago and he said my couch will be ready by the 6th of February 2021 and it was easy on that exact date. 5 stars to Bernardo & Naomi for their customer service 3 stars to Bellville furniture, because free delivery should be offered to those that spend more than 10k in the store.

Good shop with great staff-. Bought a lovely lounge suite from this shop and delivery came faster than was promised. Great warranty and guarantees included- same duration as Coricraft. Great ramge of products available to oh see attached pictures. The aftercare service was also on point- emailed and arranged for the service and got sorted promptly. Was helped by a very knowledgeable and cheerful manager called Jay Jay. Can definitely recommend him and the store.

Bellville Furniture is so amazing to work with as an interior designer. From phone call/Whatsapp communication response time to the in-store personal experience to product turnaround time and finally the custom product delivery was just incredible. One of the sales managers, Kervin really impressed me with his dedication and provided the best customer service experience I've ever had! Keep up the good work, hope to use you more often for our Gerieflijk projects!

I really wish now that I had read all of these reviews before ordering my couch which is yet to arrive after I have been promised a delivery on at least 6 different dates over the last few weeks. After having a very pushy sales person tell me my order will be delivered on time if I pay in full upfront. Thanks for very happily taking my money and giving me nothing to show for it as of yet Bellville Furnitures. The constant false promises are not appreciated.

Belville Furnitures own Pink Foot as Pink Foot has their company number and telephone number on their invoices. Pink Foot gives the most horrible service and do not deliver as promised. The owner hides behind her employees. Waited 8 months to be given my order that needed to be a replacement as they were late with the 1st order and did not compensate with delivery when I arranged my own delivery and was tols they are not ready. But they were paid on time.

If Google had negative marking i would have allocated that here. Bought stuff 31.12.2017, requested refund 12.02.2018, still today, fighting for my refunding, Have spoken to the entire team now feels like it, Marius, Zee, Slyvino, now Marlie still no feedback. I have to initiate this conversation of my refund. No wonder companies fail, you cannot be in a client facing industry and you do not know how to interact. Final straw is small claims court i guess.

Purchased a couch about 2 years ago , looks amazing , However , recently 2 springs came loose and I decided to have a look and try and fix it , to my suprise , the wood being used is recycled from pallets , different colour offcuts used when asssembled , very poor construction.. short term furniture being manufactured. Dont take the consumer for a ride with your shady wood and foam....I have taken photos and I am prepared to share it with the public.

Please read the reviews before buying from these people. What you see in the reviews is what you will get. They do not care about improving themselves as i experienced it myself. You will most likely experience what others have as well as they really dont care. I wish had read the reviews before supporting them. What i read in some of the reviews about bad quality furniture, bad service, arrogant owners, false promises and more are all so true.

Our online experience was pretty bad. Placed order online for a couch and no one contacted us, we called them and at first they couldn't find our credit card payment. They even asked us to pay it again!? After about 5 calls it turns out the online order guy was on leave, they also didn't have stock, the site was wrong. Took another week to get the stock and get it delivered. I won't do online booking with them again, it's much too painful.

Really awful service... we are in week 6 of waiting for our couch! We were promised delivery in week 4 so we made arrangements and sold our old couches to make space for the new one. WE ARE NOW SITTING ON THE FLOOR STILL WAITING!! Excuses of incorrect fabric colors and a new one needing to be made. The sales person is too afraid to call us so just leaves us voice messages with empty promises. Not worth the hassle and wait in any way.

Great furniture outlet with very friendly service. We were quite indecisive in what to purchase, but after a few visits and considerations we settled on the Davis Daybed corner unit and a gorgeous silk rug. The warranties/guarantees on the unit is on par with larger furniture stores. Valentino was of great help. Delivery was also made much quicker than anticipated. We will be back for more shopping in the future.

I am SO disappointed. I send my couch in for the stuffing to be restuffed. They stuff it so full the stitching starts to tear apart and now Bellville Furniture does not want to take responsibility for it. They want me to pay for their mistake. I am sitting with a couch that is tearing apart after it was their mistake by stuffing it over the capacity of which the material could take. Absolutely ridiculous.

Very affordable and nice style of couches but absolutely terrible quality. I don't recommend any couch purchases. The couch I bought a year ago is extremely bumpy with limited cushioning in spots. Also, the upholstery is loosely covered over the frame which causes a lot of wrinkles. Not to mention the over extended lead time and the misunderstanding of picking the couch up, which was not at the showroom!

We went to go look at couches on Saturday and was very kindly assisted by Vuyo. We contacted him on the Monday and had an immediate response. He was very helpful and quick to respond. The couch was then delivered on Thursday and they even accommodated our times for delivery. The couch was neatly wrapped to protect it as well and the delivery was punctual. Very impressed, thanks for the great service!

Worst service I have ever received. I paid for delivery and all my furniture, four months later still have nothing! Tried contacting Marius who is apparently the manager but he never replies. They never answer their phones. Absolutely pathetic. I spent a lot of money, saved up for a long time to buy these things and now I lost just around R3000 on something that was NEVER delivered.

Amazing product. I got a L- Shaped grey couch which was made available within a week after I paid the required deposit amount. Great staff.... Shout of to my man Siya as well as the boss lady (forgot what her name is) for going extra mile to make me happy. I will definitely go back and get more products. Keep up with great work....remember nothing less than 100% is acceptable.

Bellville Furniture service sucks! . Bought something the 9th January (paid for it) . Faizel the salesman promised me 2 to 3weeks for delivery.... its 4weeks now . Communication is extremely poor, not even a call or message to inform what's the delay about, empty promises that the manager will return ur call, but nothing happens. Sorry guys, my 1st and last dealing with you!!!

Very neat and tidy, friendly and helpful staff. They assist us in finding the right frames and the right material. Big thanks to Calvyn, but then. We waited and waited and waited with excuse upon excuse why they could not finish. Eventually we got it delivered. I must say, what you see is what you get. So actually good value for money. Pity their communication is so bad.

Loved their baby furniture. Very chic and contemporary and reasonably priced. Wasn't very impressed by the couches though and the artificial plants though nice are super expensive. There isn't that wide range of beds/headboards in store but quite a number of bunk beds for kiddos. They also have a number of pretty accessories like lanterns mirrors and artwork.

I dont even know where to start I will never ever send any family or friends to buy a couch from this place. They have sent me my 3rd couch nw nd it still looks like u know what. I have been told that the manager will phone me I am still waiting for the call. Stay away for ur own good but if u looking for a fight go buy from them it's a joke of note......

I have been trying to get them to collect my under warranty corner unit for repairs as the material is tearing everywhere. No one ever comes back to you, not even the managers. Send dozen of e-mails and phone calls, but with no luck. The service is really poor and my next step will be social media to name and shame them and the staff that i dealt with.

off i went to go buy my first couch, meet by kervin honest well mannered sales rep that helped with the whole process, +- 4 weeks later, ahead of time i went to the factory to collect my goods met the owner nice lad. It was lovely to see a proudly south african company building couches right infront of your eyes. Highly recommend this company

I was told my couches will be delivered today, after calling and calling I am told my couches are not ready. I am opening the store Next week Wednesday and the main asset for my business is not ready, the way it sounds they not going to be ready even next week. I am so disappointed, paid already for the Grand opening and now I hear this.

Save your money and buy somewhere else. The service is terrible. The stitches of my couch came loose 2 weeks after it was delivered. This was Dec 2017. I phone, mail , phone, mail, but nobody responds. Even the owner does not respond. I think he hopes that my problem and I will both disappear. Read similar reviews on HelloPeter!

Bellville furniture service is terrible! Waiting 6 weeks now for our coaches with no comms or feedback from them. You have to call them and then they can't even give u an update. Really ridiculous that they can't even update u on when you will recieve your furniture. Customer service is vrot! I will never buy from them again.

Ok, so its now 4 weeks later and 3 visist to the store to find out when they will pick up my under warranty coach to repair. No feedback! Every time the sales guy just say it is not his fault and today no manger due to car trouble. Pathetic service. Rather spend a little extra at Coricraft and get quality and service

My husband and I were looking to purchase a stylish coffee table. Completely ignored by 2 staff members standing at the till and what appears to be the OWNER on the phone! Terrible quality, my couch is now 2 months and 2 weeks old, sponges are worn out and the couch makes a squeeky sound when you sit down on it, where can I get hold of the manager? Or i will have no other option than taking this to the small claims court and reporting it to the relevant bargaining council.

2nd time here. Priced well and their pieces are all beautiful. Spent a couple of grand for our guesthouse refurb and now fitting out our new apartments. Greeted and accompanied on the floor. Week 13 and I am still to receive my lounge suite after full payment. Total lack of communication, I was told 6-8 weeks and after this time frame rolled by I had to contact them to find out what was going on. Every bit of communication had to be initiated by me the customer, totally unacceptable!

Update your info on Google, i was there on Saturday google says they close at 5pm and the shop was closed already when i got there at 3pm. Nothing on the shops walls to tell customers open hours. I tried calling and the voice mail too just says outside operating hours, which hours are those?

The couches look nice in pictures and online but the quality of the cushions and material isn't great. They're rough and scatchy and the foam isn't especially comfortable, I'm not surprised a few people have said theirs haven't lasted. The service from the employees was alright though.

The team at Bellville Furniture are very professional and helpful. Valentino gave us the best service, regularly sent me updates, and delivered a brand new, custom couch in under 4 weeks. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is exceptional. We would highly recommend them.

We place out order a month back only to find out this morning only 1 couch was made and in the wrong colour. I do find this very disappointing but in saying this the sales man Salvino was very helpfull from day 1 and in his absence everything went wrong.

Beautiful furniture, the lady who assisted me was helpful and polite. I feel the furniture was a bit pricey and this is just their showroom. After finding the item you want, you need to place an order and then wait 3 weeks for the furniture to be made.

Quality of craftsmanship of furniture is appalling. After weeks of trying to get someone to assist us with the purchased item no one responded and they made empty promises. First and last purchase from bellville furniture. Deeply disappointed!!

The worst service I have experienced. After 7 weeks no phone call of my order only to find out they have no clue what happened to my headboard order. Promise to deliver a half order on 2 separate occasions but never showed. The drama continues.

Absolutely shocking service. Our one week old couch's stitching is coming loose and they keep promising to repair/replace but never delivers. They never respond to emails or never get back to you. Only interested in selling the couch to you.

Don’t waste your time. What’s is in store looks good but any ordering will waste your time. Double any lead times for manufacture and don’t expect any follow up call backs even after you’ve paid up front. Disgusting service JJ.
