Benitas is a hidden gem of a coffee shop that quickly became my go-to spot for a great cup of coffee. The cafe has an inviting atmosphere with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for both work and relaxation. The coffee is delicious, and the baristas clearly take pride in their craft. The menu offers a variety of espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and tea, with options for every taste preference. My personal favorite is the cappuccino, which has a perfect balance of espresso, foam, and velvety steamed milk. The food options are equally impressive, and everything is made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The pastries and sandwiches are always fresh, with a variety of flavor combinations that are both unique and delicious. Another highlight of Benitas is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help recommend drinks and dishes from the menu. The attention to detail extends to every aspect of the cafe, from the carefully crafted drinks to the beautiful latte art. Overall, I highly recommend Benitas for anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a delicious bite to eat. The cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent coffee make it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The high quality of the food is really let down by the poor quality of service. Two of the three orders were incorrect. All three people at the table were left eating their meals one after each other as the orders that needed to be fixed were brought out at different times. We had to get up multiple times to ask for milk for the tea, for cutlery for the food and for serviettes for the table. Once all the food had finally made it to the table one of the orders was cold. Managerial supervision was nonexistent. While what I could assume was the manager was on the floor, he was more interested in flitting about fixing the cakes in the display than actually dealing with any issues patrons were having with the service. It really is a pity about the poor service as the food was really delicious. While I would love to return to try more things on the menu, poor service is enough to keep me at bay.

Arrived at 8:15, ordered our food at 8:25. At 8:50 the front of house manager/chef said the order didn’t go through to the kitchen and asked if we were we happy to wait? We said that’s fine. At 9:10 we followed up with the order and the waitress said the order has been cancelled. The biggest laugh is we were the only people in the cafe so they cannot blame being busy. Pathetic service. Pathetic attitude. For a new restaurant, your first impressions are the ones you remember. Do not go here unless you have a whole day to waste and are happy with extremely bad service.

We've been to Benitas in Roodepoort - this morning we popped into the Lifestyle one. Small, but cosy. Luckily we got a table inside, cause it was windy and cold outside. Ordered the Filter Pour over coffee - what a cute idea - although like hubby said - we do all the work and still have to pay for it. But it was fun! Shared a toastie flatbread filled with cheese and pastrami, served with Basil Mayo (yum!) and fries!!! Good service, fabulous food!!!!! Check out the interesting goodies on their shelves!!!! Perfect for a foodie gift!!!!

We had cappuccino's with cream that was delish.thats the two stars we have given. The croissant with chocolate sauce was very nice, but my toasted sandwich was not so great, the home made bread looked like an omlette, the bread was very dowey and not really toasted. Also the food did not come out at the same time. The manager was on the phone the whole time while we were there texting, so could not get his attention, we could not talk to him.

How can 2 Benitas be so different in quality. We love the Kwena branch and tried Lifestyle and what a disappointment!! 2 of the 3 Iced teas out of stock and the scones were cold and dry and seemed to be a few days old!! The manager at Kwena is also very engaged with everything.

Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The food prices are astronomical after looking at the prices we settled for a sweet condensed milk coffee R45. That was different and delicious. Our waiter was great didn’t get his name as he had no name tag. I have been to Bernitas at Kwena Mall that one is really cute as well.

Benitas bakery.. wow. What a great location and shop at Lifestyle Centre. Their baked goods are far above the norm and the coffee...excellent. well done. I strongly recommend them for a great meal as they have a tasty menu and awesome bakery.

Delicious Coffee and lovely setting outside a garden Centre. Great menu options of breakfasts and light snacks. Fantastic baked goods. There were lovely details like the plating of food, the personalized mints and the beautiful decor and baked goods. A beautiful coffee shop with so much love and passion from the owners to the staff.

A wonderful experience through and through. Excellent beverages, good (not great due to too much salt) food, but wonderful and friendly service by Angela and Meliss. We actually walked out of another restaurant to come here, and what a great decision that was.

Service great! I had cake mocca cake and late. Delicious.Melissa is friendly. However the manager Corrie reprimanded a waiter regarding straws. Just a tip, take your staff to the back when you need to discussed problems. It's embarrassing to staff and patrons.

Terrible service. The flatbread with cream cheese and scrambled egg is terrible. There was obviously no thought put into the preparation fo the food. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and had to constantly get up to get the waiter. Not worth the money.

Chicken pie was delicious but needs a sauce or gravy. And to be served hot. The condensed milk coffee...always keep stock of condense milk please. Will come back.

Amazing people with amazing vibes. Cashless facilities so one feels quite safe. Great food and very good coffee. Just love it will be back again many more times times come and very excited to visit your new shops.

The food was delicious! The staff are super friendly and the make the most gorgeous desserts. I would highly recommend this place to make a beautiful custom birthday cake for your kids!
