I hate writing negative reviews but this place left me LIVID. Seems like a other visitors had issues with the billing department, not surprised at all. If you’re like me - a loyal client and find that seeking for a new dental/doctors office is annoying, please spare yourself the time and anger and skip this one because they are S.H.A.D.Y. And you may have to pay (literally) to learn the hard way. This review does not apply to the doctors or the dental assistants, they are amazing. Super friendly and will serve you in a timely manner. My initial visit here was great and I was happy that I found a place nearby that accepts my insurance. Second visit is my last because their billing department is dishonest and shady. Typically, no matter where you go, when you get any work done, they’ll discuss the cost and types of service upfront. I made sure the cost of my services ($60) prior to my second visit and paid when I arrived. However, they managed to sneak up on me by choosing another option for me during the service, which costed 8x ($540) more than what I had planned to pay. It’s not about the cost, it’s the principle and lack of communication (which I think is done on purpose so they can charge you more). If you decide to come here, make sure you initiate the conversation prior to your service you need because they will not and make sure to review it TWICE. If you do not, during your appointment, they will choose what’s “best” for you in their eyes so they can up-charge you after the work is done so you cannot not pay. I ended up paying less but again, that is besides the point. It’s one thing to discuss the cost and options with a client prior to getting work done and agreeing on a price. But to never have had that conversation and basically have the “oh well, what’s done is done. We can’t undo it, you gotta pay up and we don’t care to retain you as a client” type attitude is not good for business. If they keep up with that attitude, they will have One and Only One Client. When I walked into the office I was greeted immediately and the receptionist was very helpful. Before I had arrived I was able to fill out the new patient info online in just a few minutes so I didn’t need to fill out any forms(always a plus). After sitting in a comfortable, tidy and clean waiting room for only a few minutes I was brought in for my appointment. Just the usual, X-rays were easy and a cleaning that was a pleasure(she had light hands to the touch so it was really very comfortable). The dentist gave me an oral exam as well and spoke to me about my general needs of hygiene. Overall, a very good experience. I would recommend using this practice for your dental needs. The only downside is that my family has young children as well so they don’t take small children except possibly for a cleaning if the child is mature enough to sit for it. So a small deduction, 8.5 out of 10. Bottom line… I was referred and I suggest you go as well if you need a good dentist. Enjoy your experience.

Excellent dental clinic! I used to have fear of the dentist at previous clinics. Since I came to this clinic it's the first time I ever felt no fear of the dentist! They're so gentle! First time I felt so comfortable to be treated by a dentist! I felt no pain and I'm very pleased with the dental work they have done. My teeth feel great and I feel like a million bucks!!! The office is clean and everyone is very nice and professional. They really make you feel safe and comfortable. I was hesitant coming to a dentist during covid19 but I felt very safe in One and Only Dental. I notice that they have an air filtration system to make sure there is no spread of aerosols and they are very careful, taking extra precautions and they have lots of modern technology. Highly recommended dental clinic! Thank you so much for everything!

Update: The Dentist is willing to work with you even if you have a tooth emergency. I had my work done yesterday at the Dentists Office. My Dentist fixed everything that was possible for the day. What caught my eye was precision of one filling. Most of my previous fillings you could tell it is a filling. Because the job would be done without much thought to the anesthetics of the tooth. Just a large filling not smoothed out. I had my ex rays, and teeth cleaning done. I liked that the team was of diverse background of humans. I felt more relaxed because the environment was patient focused. You could even read books in the waiting area.

I love this dental office and the very caring great staff! I have been a patient here for many years and highly recommend this clinic! My whole family comes here too. They work with you to make sure you’re comfortable and come at convenient time. The cleaning is very thorough yet gentle. The doctors are very nice and professional and make me feel very calm and safe in the chair. The treatment coordinator makes sure I understand the procedures that I need to do , explains the copays and coverage and spends time to explain everything . I’m very pleased with this office and highly recommend them!

Fantastic dentist! I have used them for years and they always do good work. My mouth was a mess when I came to them with my years of no dental insurance really haven taken a bite out of my dental health. They helped put together a plan for me and have guided me through all the stages of returning my mouth to great condition! They are a bit more expensive, but they work with you, and the quality you receive is worth every penny! I have been in their care for over 3 years, and I can tell you that I have always had the utmost professional care from their staff.

GREAT service from the staff all around. From the moment I called to make an appointment, front desk was very nice and professional. At the appointment, the office is very clean and waiting time was not too long. The front desk was very friendly. My past experiences with dentists hasn’t been a good one … until one day I had a tooth ache and my wife suggested I see her dentist. I was hesitant at first but I couldn’t take the pain no more, so we went to see the famous Dr Lau. I’m so glad I listened to my wife … I needed a full reconstruction. Dr Lau hands are magic and gentle. Dr. Lau has made this whole procedure a pleasant experience. I 100% recommend Dr Lau to anyone who needs a dentist or needs a better one! I finally decided to commit to a teeth whitening. Working in the area I randomly came across one and only. I scheduled a consultation and went for it the whitening the same day. The process was super easy (3x iterations of UV light after a coating on your teeth). It took about 2 hours overall from entering the building. Dr. Vlad did an awesome job, and explained the process along the way. Overall a great experience, great results (4x shades whiter), and friendly staff. I would recommend this place for your dental needs.

Let's cut to the chase I freaking love this office!! Staffs are friendly, funny and just down to earth, makes me feel like I'm not even at the dentist. On the first visit to my most recent I felt the warm care they provide to patients (We're like best friends now). They won't operate without letting you know everything and I mean everything. They would breakdown procedures and pricing options and have answers to any questions. I highly recommend this office.

Have been to this dental multiple times and every time, they provided tremendous care. The staff is great from top to bottom, and they really make you feel involved. Never had any pain in any of my visits, and whatever remaining discomfort is further relieved by their great sense of humor. But they also genuinely care for the great smile of yours. I needed and still need a lot of work done. But they are always very patient and very gentle with me. I can be a gigantic baby when it comes to the dentist. But I really like this place. Dr. Davydov, Dr. Vlad, Peter and all the staffs were amazing. They consider your options and help find the best solution to your problem in a professional way. They are polite, gentle and all my procedures went with minimal pain. All my crown and veneers are beautiful. The front desk was efficient and I never had to wait longer than 15 minutes. I needed my front tooth veneer replaced upon returning from my vacation. Only problem was that I threw away my veneer by accident. Bensonhurst Implant and Family saw me immediately and had my tooth replaced in about 2 weeks (sizing, taking a mold and implanting the veneer.) The tooth looks amazing and natural. It's been a great experience, filled with comfort and friendly vibes (great sense of humor too). They're also very good with reminders in case you forget, which I did many times. Very punctual and no pain with their work, and also helped with financial discounts when my insurance could not afford a certain recommendation. 10/10 would recommend!

Very attentive and good service. Arrived on time check in all done through phone app very advance. Front desk was courteous. Inside room was clean, xrays were done, doctor asked if anything was wrong before telling me what he saw in xrays. Didn’t try to scam or sell me any products. Will definitely make this me and my family dentist place.

Dr. Lau's office and the complete staff are outstanding. The office is always spotless and adheres to all protocols. My family has been patients for many years. He is exceptional, attentive, and puts you at ease. The dental hygienist Cecilia is also excellent. I reside in Staten Island and will still continue to travel to Dr Lau's office.

They are very attentive and nice. The hygienist is really great. The dentist was also great. The office is clean and not over crowded. Just wish they had appointments for work that needs to be done sooner than months away from the original date you were recommended for some work like fillins and so forth. Otherwise, it’s a great place.

The office is near my job and it was honestly the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Dr. Jung was extremely thorough and helpful during my experience.
