We’ve been purchasing, redesigning, and repairing jewellery at Bentley & Skinner for over 10 years now. They’re a quintessential British Institution - reputable, honourable, honest, courteous, helpful, and yet … low key! Two years ago, we were interested in buying and also redesigning some jewellery. We got introduced to Lola Rafieva. From that first visit until one last week, our interaction with her has been nothing but most pleasant, helpful, and informative! Not only does Lola reflect traditional values of B&S to the letter, she is also a highly qualified jeweller who knows her craft, is a thorough professional, and goes that extra mile in courtesy and follow-through that differentiates good service from a great experience. We are only ever comfortable now when buying jewellery from B&S and in particular, when we have Lola Rafieva helping us. We were very happy and satisfied with her advice on how best to maximise value of the jewellery, her suggestions on possible designs, and the final results - each and every time. It’s been a real pleasure.

I wouldn't use the repair service for any thing not purchased in store. They give incorrect advice. We dropped off a diamond ring overnight to have it inspected by the master jeweller. They were due to call us back the next day to collect, but we had to chase them. When we collected they very undiplomatic-ally said the item was not good and they wouldn't touch it in front of my fiance. They then we should return it to were brought it and that Bentley and Skinner would offer a very attractive price on one of their items instead..... I asked them if they could give a report saying what was wrong with the ring and hey refused to in writing. They then said they would provide me with contact details of someone who would, but they never did. Having then taken our ring for 3 further professional opinions they all contradicted Bentley and Skinner.

I was looking for a wedding ring and Bentley & Skinner were recommended by a friend. I wanted a beautiful dress ring but have very small hands so finding the right cut and fit could be tricky. Lola was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful and friendly and it felt as if she was a dear friend helping me to choose. We discussed stones and colour and she picked out a selection for me to try, but sent me a photo with them on her little fingers to mirror the size of mine so I could see how they could look. When we arrived at the shop she was super attentive and her selection was spot on. I chose the most beautiful ruby ring that fits my hand perfectly and I love it. Highly recommend visiting Bentley & Skinner, they were perfect.

What more can I say.....The whole experience, from first talking to the managing Director and his team, through to discussions regarding making a bespoke piece, as well as re-modelling the pendant was first class and was one of the best I have had in my experience of buying (as well as re-designing) pieces of jewellery for my wife. the team working there, are a credit to the company, in their knowledge as well as their customer service and workmanship, so please pass on my thanks again to them. I would highly recommend Bentley and Skinner for stunning antique jewellery and bespoke design service and will be my "place to go" in London for Faberge and jewellery best wishes Mr and Mrs S

Despite a slightly longer wait than I'd hoped (but then again I am a very impatient person) I am absolutely over the moon with the signet ring I have received from Bentley and Skinner. The colour, weight, thickness, comfort and the clarity of the engraving are absolutely stunning quality. The service I received from Bosco was quick and attentive. There are cheaper options out there, but I would not hesitate to recommend B&S to anyone considering a signet ring either for themselves or as a gift. You really do see where the money goes with a purchase from Bentley and Skinner, cannot fault them.

Bentley and Skinner is a gorgeous store in London selling magnificent antique jewelry. I recently purchased a gorgeous emerald ring from them. I worked with Lola who was simply marvelous. She responded very quickly to every question I had and guided me through the process step-by-step I had seen the ring on a trip to London, but did not purchase it until I arrived home in the United States Purchasing from overseas is not the easiest thing, but Lola made it almost seamless . I cannot recommend this store highly enough if you wish to purchase gorgeous antique jewelry.

One of the best jewellers in London. They have a long history of producing both fine jewels as well as selling antique and vintage jewellery of the highest quality. The service is top notch - I have dealt with Mr Vaja and Mr Penfold in the past and they make you feel like a princess. Excellent after-care, re-sizing and repairs. If you are looking for something unique or special this is the place to visit.

Reg helped us to create a bespoke engagement band as my husband wasn't happy with the original band, and also to create a bespoke eternity wedding ring. The prices weren't cheap but they were beautifully made with exceptional craftsmanship and we enjoyed the personal service. Thank you!

A wonderful jewellery store, nothing is too much trouble and they have some amazing pieces. I have bought several beautiful items but also had a signet ring made for my sons 18th and some repairs. The staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable and friendly.

I recently took a ring to get a condition report here - the service was outstanding particularly by Lola who provided exactly what was required as well as being indepth and a clear explanation of the condition. Would highly recommend.

Went to sell some quality pieces, they tried to cheat me. The guy said they don't pay high prices for jewellery, because "we have lots of little old ladies who don't know what they have, and we can pay them nothing". There u have it.

I took my wife’s engagement ring for valuation. Lola provided a great services, very professional, and the communication was very fluent during the valuation process.

Do not trust for Jewelry repair. They put a hole in the hand created gold filigree when attempting to tighten a stone. I had to have the entire ring re-made.
