My mother passed away back in November 2019 and it was easily one of the worst events to happen in my life. Gabriel and the staff at Bernardo Funeral Home not only made sure that my father and I were able to plan and organize the funeral, but they provided a sense of comfort and were very empathetic during this time, meanwhile maintaining an extremely high level of professionalism. The facilities were clean, the lounge in the basement allowed us to share in the memories about my mom over refreshments and the viewing room was impeccable. I'm glad that after all these years since we first used Bernardo (for my grandfather's passing in 1988), Bernardo Funeral Home has only gotten better at what they do. Death is a part of life and although not easy, Gabriel and the team at Bernardo made it a little easier for us to grieve and celebrate my mom's life. Landing on Bernardo Funeral Home felt like finding money in a pocket you forgot about. The service provided by manager Gabriele & team was outstanding. They provided my family and I with white glove treatment during every step of my father's service arrangements. It felt like we were simply planning an event not a funeral. I expressed a sigh of relief on the viewing day as my father was well put together for friends and family to come pay their respects. The team at this Albion location was very professional. The process started with Gabe who talked us through our options very clearly while making recommendations . Ashley was the liason with all parties and was in constant contact with me throughout in terms of adjustments and confirmations. They did a great job in preparation for the viewing. our mom looked very nice. Jimmy was instrumental during the day of the funeral. He made the final day feel stresless for our family. This team worked so well together to meet our every need, and we thank them for it during this difficult time.

Everyone was extremely kind, helpful, patient and understanding. We dealt with a few people and the treatment was consistent with all. Gabriel, Domenic and Ashley stood out the most. Aside from the professional, friendly, empathetic treatment, my dad looked very good. They did a great job capturing his true appearance, which was comforting. Just finished the funeral arrangements of my father. Gabriel was an amazing resource through the whole process - patient, informative, professional, and acting in our best interest. My Father recently passed away. It is never easy to lose a parent, but definitely not easy to lose one during this Pandemic. Gabriel and the staff at Bernardo on Albion were fantastic.
