so much more than 'lunch', our afternoon at Berowra Waters Inn was an experience to remember. After a scenic drive to the Inn's private wharf, we were collected by barge, ferried across to the picturesque Inn, & warmly greeted by a gathering of cheerful staff. The bright, fresh interior with well spaced tables is relaxed & spacious, furnished with an austerity that allows the view to take centre stage. seated facing the panorama of water & bushy escarpments our waiter described a little about the menu & the first in a series of Instagramable taste sensations soon followed. served at a leisurely pace, the degustation showcased stunning local produce in artfully crafted dishes packed with subtle & unexpected combinations of flavour. the food was not overly rich & we devoured 8 courses with no regrets - apart from wishing we could afford to be regular patrons. A great day - the perfect way to celebrate the very special occasion of our amazing Mum's 88th birthday.

This place taught me that fine dining isn't just about the food but about the experience. Everything at Berowra Waters Inn is carefully crafted to ensure you get your money's worth. From the numerous unique flavoursome exciting dishes (especially the off menu spanner crab custard? - the yellow and green soup in the bowl picture 10000/10) , to the unparalleled views overlooking Berowra Creek, the entire time you are there, there's something to be amazed about. Shoutout to our waiter Maverick who gave us an excellent rundown on each dish and ensured that our table was clean and dishes were flowing smoothly. I will absolutely be back and potentially in the future I may even splurge for the seaplane transfer to get there! (Warning $$$)

At last, after 40 years of thinking about it, we visited here. Amazing food. Each course was an adventure. The menu gave a hint as to what we'd be eating but every time it was a surprise and in a very good way. I think we'll be back regularly.

Had dinner at Berowra waters inn tonight. Loved the boat ride from the wharf to the restaurant and back. Warm ambience and very attentive, professional, and friendly staff. It really shows that the executive chef owns the restaurant. Food was nothing short of brilliant. Could not fault a single dish in the autumn set menu. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and helped us choose a great wine that complimented the menu. I have eaten at 3 hatted restaurants which tonight have been embarrassed by this gorgeous local restaurant. My new favourite and will definitely dine here again.

Started off with Beetroot Parfait Followed by the Scallop Nashi, Kingfish Prawn Zucchini, Chicken Corn and Mushroom, Wagyu caper and union, deserts of Pistachio and Lemon and lastly Native frozen Nougat and Apricot. This was one of the best meals I have had in Sydney. Every course was well presented with a symphony of flavours. Every course hit the mark presentation wise as well the texture flavour etc etc. Beautiful Wines. Wonderful experience. Bottom line $686 (including wine, mineral water, coffee and half dozen Oysters) Plus flight from Rose Bay

One of the best meals I've ever had. It wasn't just a magnificent degustation lunch - it was an experience. The whole day was fabulous from being picked up by the Inn's boat and a super friendly driver. We were greeted when we arrived by staff and shown to our lovely table in front of the floor to ceiling windows. Our degustation lunch was paired with matching wines and detailed by our fun and professional sommelier. Waiting staff were excellent especially Li. I can't fault the experience - it was wonderful and we will be back again.

It was my third time dining at the inn and yet again was blown away. The food is incredible - experimental, flavours are well balanced, and presentation is perfect. The duck is always a stand out, and the wine and cocktails pair perfectly with the courses. The inn is not just about the food either - the waiters, sommelier, chefs, are all passionate about what they do and provide a one of a kind dining experience. Could not recommend enough to those who appreciate fine dining at its best. Well done team!

I went there for celebrating my birthday with my partner today. Everything we have eaten was amazing! Highly recommend to choose the classic wine pairing, the stuff will introduce each of the history behind the wine which is something I never experienced in other fine dining, and I found very interesting to listen to as well. Love all the wine, and I could tell it has taken bit of time to select the best wine to match with the meals. Will definitely come back when there’s a new course menu:) Wonderful experience!

Thank you Berowra Waters Inn for a memorable experience. From the big welcome we got when we landed in the seaplane to the relaxed and professional service we got through the whole afternoon. The staff are great story tellers in explaining each of the 6 dishes on the degustation menu. Their knowledge of the wine list is extremely helpful as there is a lot to choose from. The service was impeccable as it is hard to find that level of service in some of the finer dining establishments in Sydney.

Exquisite Australian cuisine in an beautiful Australian setting. The dishes were a wonderful exploration into Australian produce, showcasing seafood, rabbit, and lamb while we were there - even the spirits in the cocktails were from boutique Australian producers. The service was impeccable as you would expect from this level of dining, but was also extremely warm and down to earth. Highly recommend the trip to Berowra for this experience.
Best atmosphere ever, especially with good weather. Excellent boat ride to and from the restaurant. Andy gave a short history lesson on the way, it was amazing. Be WARNED! The 6 course option took 3 hours and 15 minutes. The wait between some courses were unbearably long. At the time there were a lot of flying ants. Luckily none went into our food, one went into our glass though. Overall, an excellent, one of a kind experience.
This place is exceptionally well rounded. I loved atmosphere, service, food, and wine pairing. Getting there by a boat is also an experience. Every food was very detail oriented and intentional. Course flow was quite rhythmic and your expectations will go high as the course continues and this place will not let you down. I'm really excited for its next season menu. I humbly say this is the best one that I've been in Sydney.
Culinary experience best enjoyed with company. Great location to enjoy a private unique degustation only accessible by water, expect to spend a few hours here for the course. Service was top tier outstanding by all staff. Highly recommend the specially crafted Old Fashioned.

Gorgeous restaurant around an hour away from CBD. Love that you have to get a boat transfer to get to the restaurant so it feels very secluded & exclusive. Lovely views whilst dining even though I went when it was raining. The tasting menu was faultless, lots of great dishes showing Australian produce. Definitely a memorable meal! More
I took my mum for the 10 course degustation. The food was beautiful, and the service was perfect. The staff who waited our table were so polite and friendly, even the boat transfer driver set the mood by being so hospitable. Would recommend this experience to everyone! Tip - Go for lunch, we went at 6.30pm and it got dark very quickly.
One of my greatest fine dining experience in Australia. The boat transportation was brilliant and the food has a very high standard. Desert was impressive and inspiring and the highlight of the menu was the Murray cod. Will definitely come back for different season menu. Thank you all for the whole experience.
We enjoyed the heavenly 9 course degustation meal! Booked the resturant using the fork app and were very happy with service, food, atmosphere and the location. The food was well presented and bursting with flavours. I made sure I ate very
