TLDR: DON'T BUY TOTAL TECH MEMBERSHIP if its for installation support. Spend that money on hiring an experienced handyman yourself who knows what they are doing. I am a new homeowner and purchased all my kitchen appliances, sound bar and TV from Best Buy. We loved the in-store sales support and also purchased the total tech membership for a seamless installation experience. The delivery today was horrible though. Firstly, we were given two delivery windows spanning across 8 hours in the day- with 3 crews visiting us-one for the kitchen appliances, second for the TV and third for the in wall power kit installation to hide the TV wiring. Waiting an entire day in an empty house for these guys to show up one by one was as it is painful, on top of that they forgot to bring the kit for dryer installation. Mistakes happen and we still chose to ignore that. It's now on us to reschedule the installation and waste another day waiting for them. However, the in wall power TV kit installation was a nightmare.Firstly, the guy did not have the required tools, he didn't bother to detect the stud in the wall and draw stuff on our new walls in the wrong place. My husband had to guide him every step of the way. Now I'm left with a big hole in our new walls because the kit won't fit and the guys does not have his tools. He has no response to how he is going to solve the problem. And we are expecting the TV installation anytime soon. Everything is a big mess. Best BUy needs to take responsibility and treat their customers better especially when they are paying for a better experience in the name of their total tech membership. Totally unacceptable. Don't recommend trusting their installation team at all. Btw, the attached photos show the current state with still no solution in sight.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We purchased 2 Toshiba C350 55" flat screen televisions almost 3 months ago. One of them has become a blank, dark screen. I was forced to call Toshiba for help because Worst Buy doesn't stand behind the products it sells. Toshiba is not really Toshiba, they are Hisense (surprise!). So after being routed around from department to department, hung up on by any number of barely English speaking flunkies, and finally given a number to call (not transferred)... I got in touch with customer service at Hisense. I use the term "customer service" VERY loosely. We went through their requisite troubleshooting process, more times than I can remember. I had to text pictures of the TV not working, text pictures of the model tag, etc. It has now been over 2 weeks of back and forth emails with these people, as I attempt to prove that we bought the TV's from Worst Buy. Of course, the order number is on every piece of documentation that we have but for whatever reason, they can't use any of the legitimate documentation I have provided. They keep coming up with reasons why the receipt, order confirmation, pick-up order, etc are not good enough for their torturous process. I am at my wits end. It used to be, the item broke within the warranty period, you took it back to the store and they either repaired or replaced it. Now Worst Buy $h!ts you off to the manufacturer, who just tortures you until, hopefully, you give up. I have bought several expensive TV's, phones for the whole family, a full home theater system with surround sound, computers, printers, a refrigerator, and so many other items at Worst Buy. And this is the customer service that results. NEVER AGAIN.

I've been a customer for decades. Pay for "Total" membership, and have been really loyal IMO. Tech, TVs, appliances, even office needs are purchased at Best Buy. Today I was gaslighted by a manager (hispanic) that was completely incompetent. First offered store credit for a portion of my purchase, but not the other "accessories" even though they are still under warranty, then told that it's true that they are covered but he could not offer credit, then retracted the offer to provide store credit altogether based on new store policies that he couldn't even quote. I then had to submit my new camera that was used three times to Geek Squad and was told it would take "a long time, like weeks" to get a potential repair if they could reproduce the issue. What a joke! As retail continues to fail, you would think that customer service would improve, but unfortunately, leadership sucks. Being able to touch and feel tech before I buy and my Total coverage are why I still shop at Best Buy. If the peace of mind of the coverage goes away, I'll go get the better price on Amazon or Club store. Take your money elsewhere!

What we have here is a lack of communication. Ordered June 30, a broken TCL 65” flat screen TV was delivered and installed on July 18. Since nobody tested the set prior to delivery a return was scheduled for August 4. On August 4 the replacement set was delivered but not installed. I called and talked with the Geek Squad manager in Cedar Park around noon to determine the schedule. Had we known the plan we would have asked for it to be delivered and installed on Friday. According to the GS manager, Alex my installation agent, hadn’t rescheduled the installation. Now we are to wait until August 7 to have it installed. It wouldn’t matter but that my home office and dinner table are now unavailable until Friday (see photos). The excuse was the pandemic; however, my wife and I will have had six people enter our home by Friday. Also, the pandemic didn’t prevent GS from communicating with us.

The other day I was there and looking to buy a washer/dryer. I went to that area and there was no one there. I left to find a BB employee to get help. The young lady I found told me she was not certified in appliances but let me know she would have someone come meet me over there. I walked back to appliances at the same time a woman and her baby were walking up. When the BB appliances employee came over he asked who was here first. I raised my hand and he came to me. He left the woman with the baby know that he would have someone with her in just a moment. Cinderella, stormed off calling me rude because I went to get help and didn't stand there waiting. My baby was waiting in the car with my mom and I knew I was going to be fast... AND I was there first. The BB dude was awesome, the store looks like it is going to be amazing when they reopen, but the Cinderella not so much!!

I ordered a very expensive refrigerator and it was delivered on Saturday. They could not install it bc they didn't have enough people to get it upstairs where the kitchen is. They said they would contact me and come back Monday. I called all weekend trying to get that scheduled, and no one could help. On monday they said the soonest would be thursday (today). I called when they did not come when they said and was told they did come (however I was here all day and they did not come) and that they would come NEXT TUESDAY. A week and a half after they dropped this fridge in my hallway, they will maybe show up to install it. I am so frustrated and disappointed with Best Buy, whom I have done business with for 15 years. This is total ineptitude and very poor customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would. Bought an LG tv WORST TV I have every owned. Called local store, nightmare automated phone system. Then you get a call center. Ask to be transferred to store. person says cannot do that. Ask for manager, during transferred dropped call. Called back, another dealing with the phone system. This time person tells me I can leave message at store , they MAY call be back. Never called back. SInce they have no other big box one on one competition. Called again, got call center, asked for store , had to leave message. FOrget the the LG TV is terrible and was released on the market with defect software. DO NO BUY from Best Buy. pay more at a local company. AT least they will help after the sale

The last couple times I've been here the customer service has been superb thankfully they staffed this location pretty darn well every time I visited to pick up solid state drives and various other parts for my computer repair business on short notice. The team here are very respectful professional and able to find me and get me what I need quick and easy including when they need to get the key to unlock the case to get me certain computer parts components and hard drives. They are also very easy to work with here and being able to pull up my business tax exempt for my computer repair account especially when I forget my Best Buy credit card they're able to look it up quickly and easily and help me out to get that done

i was here trying to get the dyson and then an assistant told me to going to the cashier to get it and when i come to the cashier that guy didn’t even wanna help me check it and told me to get back there and waiting on it, then i did what he told me to do, i’ve been waiting for a long period while they’re standing there talking and laughing, end up the guy that were spilling the tea w that same guy just came up check it on the device and told me that its out of stock and when I said that that same guy told me to get there waiting on it giving tons of reason for why he were didnt help me checking on it, he is just lazy and is not working on what hes need to do, nah im good not really thanks for your service :) !

Best buy is among the best retail sources for consumer electronics and household appliances. The staff is competent and knowledgeable about the products that they sell though unaware of some overseas or foreign brands. They're not familiar with commercial brand names but they are quite conversant with the types of appliances you'd find at Home Depot Lowe's and other big box stores. The staff is quite friendly and willing to give you a discount and offer you deals if you ask for them. Don't forget to shop Best buy for your consumer computer electronics. They have very good deals occasionally. They can be quite competitive with new egg and other retailers and sometimes to price matching.

Just built a new house and in need of appliances AND big tvs. I stopped by and just as i was walking in, i remembered a controversy concerning discriminatory hiring practices. No one at the at the store could tell me if their policies had changed to a more equitable model. I tried to call but theyve made it impossible to call directly or be transfered to a store location. The ONLY option is talking to a call center employee. Also no way of contacting corporate. IN THE END I GAVE UP AND MADE A LARGE PURCHASE ELSEWHERE. I WILL NOT SPEND MONEY AT A BUSINESS THAT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST MY PEOPLE (or that goes to great lenghts to avoid communication with customers)

I bought the total tech package so I would be covered from any defects in a refrigerator that I purchased. The refrigerator has a Wi-Fi function on it. It never really worked and I called 4 or 5 times to get someone to my house to fix it. Each time I was promised someone would be there soon and no one ever showed up. I finally just gave up. I don’t know that I’d go back and shop there again. The way they’re set up you have to call the main national office and then that information is trickled down to other people in the neighborhood stores, so there is a huge lack of communication between the two. Bad management structure.

If you haven't been to a Best Buy lately, you should! A lot more upscale feel and honestly, it was refreshing to ask sales people questions instead of reviews online and actually get...get this....customer support! Also, to try them on and hear them instead of looking and reviewing specs. Get down. Buy them. Use them immediately! No need to pay for shipping or wait tomorrow or Monday for it to arrive! Also saw a mom and son bonding over the right speakers to buy...made me miss growing up. They also have electric bikes, hearing aids, protection, treadmills... basically anything you would expect from ...an Electrics Store!

Went into the store to buy a replacement TV. Had to ask three people if they could help. Another woman asked me if I worked there because she couldn't find anyone to help her. I'm there to support in-store shopping and have done my big-item purchases at Best Buy. But you shouldn't have to walk around asking for someone to take your money. Of course, i wasn't in there to buy a $4200 entertainment center. The lone guy working in the TV section was giving that couple all the attention to the detriment of everyone else. It's OK to acknowledge other customers, call over another sales associate, then focus on your big spender.

This isn’t a warning of any kind on the people that work here. More often than not they have some solid employees. This is a critique of their rewards program, which is absolute nonsense. I purchased an iMac for my wife using their credit card program. I received a 60$ certificate. They force you to use this reward in three months and then it expires. You earn half a point for every dollar spent when using the credit card. Would really appreciate it if they weren’t so cheap with their rewards system. Please revamp the points system, because it’s definitely encouraging me to abstain from ever doing business here again.

Best buy is in all around great place to go buy electronics and all of the etc. They have very large stores with lots of products inside and an ability to comparison shop a lot of different things. The staff that works there is generally pretty friendly and knowledgeable and it is easy to get in and out quickly if you need to. I have liked Best buy for a long time and have used them for most of my measure electronics purchases. Give them a try, they're definitely worth it and they've been around for a long time. They have a huge stock and are a great place to go to see every model of something you're going to buy.

Thank goodness this Best buy is here cuz occasionally I'm in this area and need to pick up some solid state drives and computer components for my computer repair business and the customer service here and a new remodeling is nice and Spacey and much appreciate it! They even do keep the restrooms clean keep the area spotless customer service is always on top of making sure you're checked in and out quickly and find what you need very well-organized and knowledgeable staff! They also have convenient locker pick up so you can order online and they can just put into locker to pick up or bring it to your car :)

Purchased a laptop for business needs because it said it was available for pickup in 1 hour. Sent an associate to do curbside 4 hours later and was told it wasn’t ready because it wasn’t done being processed. 7 hours later now just called the store (which doesn’t actually go to the store) and am told that when you order online it’s a 2 step verification process to prevent fraud and my order probably won’t be released until tomorrow. Makes no sense. If that’s the case then how about don’t advertise “available for pick up in 1 hour” online so that those who need it urgently aren’t screwed. Thanks!

Store is currently starting a remodel and home theater demos are being dismantled. Very disappointed as I wanted to show my wife some high end soundbar packages for our new TV. Part of the store is also being vacated of products to accommodate the remodel so expect some trouble finding certain items until they finish in the holidays. Employees are nice and helpful. I do like that the store is carrying more PC gaming components but they still need to increase their variety. I'll re-evaluate the store at the end of the year when the remodel is complete.

This best buy was under construction when I came. I was looking for specific things, they had me stand in line outside and told me to look online and order it on my phone and they would go inside and grab it. I did that and everything online said it was in stock at the location. I paid for it online. Went back to the front, stood in line again, they told me the things I bought need to be located it would take 45-1 hr. They looked at the items and didn't even have one of them. I asked them to just cancel the order. Took about a week to get a refund.

I arrived at Best Buy at 8.15pm and waited 40 minutes for no one to service. At 8.55pm,a man received me. I told him that I wanted to make an appointment to repair my computer. He told me that they were going to close !!? Tell me to come again tomorrow? ?!!Why don't you tell me earlier if you want me to come back tomorrow? Instead of asking me to wait 40 minutes and then tell me? I don't want to give them a star,even a half,bad service,really bad!If I didn’t buy the computer here, I wouldn’t want to come here for the second time.

Did curbside pick up at the cedar Park location got the open box special on a new laptop. It was a deal but sometimes you get what you pay for if you know what I mean I opened the box up and no charger I went directly inside and they exchanged my open box for a closed box and I got the same deal . Great customer service... From start to finish only took 15 minutes I couldn't believe it.. But I'm a believer now. Keep doing what you're doing Best buy and thanks again for the great customer service..

Worst Best Buy in the country . Drive 60 miles for a product to come in and the employees being rude saying they don’t know why they’re still displayed or why they told me they had it in stock . Really disappointed with Best Buy . The manager Alejandro was not helpful in any matter and the employees did not attend or assisted in any way just this really nice lady’s other blue hair she was outstanding . I’d like a follow up or a call form corporate but highly doubt it.

Day in line overnight for Founders Edition drop. Management was very helpful with letting is know estimated inventory the night before. They were on time handing out vouchers around 7:30 and the line to purchase started moving at 8. Management even advised where the cards would run out in the line so people didn't wait around for no reason. Probably 150 or more that didn't get cards that didn't have to wait extra time in line to find out. Well done Best Buy, bravo.

Waited 40 mim for a curbside pick-up under triple digit temperature. It is ridiculous because there was no line. I didn’t see a single curbside delivery during the 40 min! The crew staff just never checked the system. I called the store number repeatedly but no one picked up. i was transferred to some random international support who worked from home in other states or in india and had no idea how to reach this store. Avoid this branch if you can.

Geek squad here is A+. Squeezed us into the repair schedule despite us arriving late due to traffic. Ava was super nice and helpful. 100% recommend. The total tech plan is worth every dime. They can work on your computer remotely or you can bring it in for in-person work. Their in-person schedule was pretty full. They were able to connect remotely and do all the maintenance work we needed. Otherwise, pretty typical Best Buy selection and layout

Tried to buy new appliances from Lowe's, but their associates would rather stand there and look at me instead of ask if I needed help so I went to Best Buy. They were very attentive to my needs and price matched the items I wanted to buy. Needless to say, I was very grateful and the process was so easy. This geek squad is not well equipped or informed in Apple iOS. They booked me for an appointment and I showed up only to be rescheduled for the next day. I showed up again and they told me to go elsewhere because they are not trained to handle iPhone minis. They knew what the device was both times they booked me for an appointment. Do not bother with going to this location, just go down to the Apple Store for iPhone repairs of any kind.

Kept the store open during major renovations with a walk-up service. It worked well for me since I knew what I needed, and it was nice outside. Instead of greeting every unknowing customer that walks up saying "what brings you in today?" wearing a safety vest and causing some situational confusion, I would have recommended saying "Good morning. We are doing renovations and assisting customers out here today. What can we help you with?"

This store is not very easy to navigate, extremely confusing layout. Employees are not attentive and stand offish. Its easier to use the website then waste your time at the store. If you need to buy something there find exactly what your looking for and find it yourself. I have no clue weather they are trying to be a spa ir a store. I think they need to rethink their strategy because everything they sell is also available elsewhere.

We went in on Friday evening and had such a great shopping experience! Christina helped us find a sound bar that was twice a good as the one we were looking for but for less than twice the price! She suggested we listen to two different options and explained the differences. She asked great questions and had us out in about 20 minutes with a great solution. Our TV sounds great now. She is sweet, friendly and knows her stuff.

But whoever sold me the 60” Samsung TV last minute, was amazing he was super helpful and even tho it was literally last min I got the TV I had been trying to order online. Purchased kitchen appliances from this location, had them delivered during remodel, plugged in range and it has no power. Cannot get through by phone to this location. Have called main customer service number/been transferred four times and still no resolution. This is a brand new product and Best Buy cannot setup a simple exchange; they want me to contact Samsung directly. Please call me to resolve.

The associates are not very eager to help the customers. You have to get someone's attention by flagging them down or by breaking up a group of employees as they stand around visiting with one another. Once I did manage to get some help he was very nice. After showing me where the computer cables are located, he tried to sell me the wrong one. But like I said, he was very nice about it.

She went above and behind in making sure we understood the process of signing into a game app and made sure the new phone was operating correctly. We are seniors and not technically savvy. Very bad service - I placed order for fridge suppose to be delivered in 15days, upon delivery discovered, fridge was damaged. Asked for replacement, never received saying limited stock. For the Best Buy store in Cedar Park, TX . With a sudden kaput of my 2 yr-old TV. (you can't raise the hood to fix it) I needed a quick replacement. I got online and found something in the size range I was looking for. The had it ready for pickup in less than 1 hr. When I went to pick it up, it took them less than 10 min to bring it out. That's what I call smooth.

Going to this location has become a chore. I wanted a gaming laptop but they didn't have any high quality options in stock. Often they are like yeah, go to Amazon, or oh we can order that for you. Deceptive advertising in store. We saw a sign saying $10 off controller with purchase of console. Upon checkout learned only 1 controller , the black one was included in the offer. Sign should have read $10 off the black controller....would have been honest. Last time we buy here. Will purchase from Target or walmartor amazon from now on.

Rude employee at the apple department, the employee will ask you tons of questions about how are you going to pay for the item. When I inform the employee I have my own credit card. The employee insisted how you going to pay for the item when I already explain I have my own credit card. It was like situation I had to show my credit score

This Best Buy is Great! Everyone is super friendly and staff asked me several times if I needed help with anything. I got a freezer from there and online it was showing they didn't have any of the ones that I wanted but he went out of his way and still went to go check in the back to see if they had 1 in-stock. I'm loving my freezer!!!

The price tags for the items are all digital and are easy to find. The Staff was very helpful with all questions. I also dropped off a phone with geek squad to be looked at. They will check out your I phone as a courtesy. They dont repair or touch android phones. I was told The only best buy that did was the round rock location

I purchased a 24" Fire TV during the holidays. It was not large enough, but I had thrown the box out and didn't know if Best Buy would accept it without the box. I was told exactly how to package it so it would be acceptable for return. Took it into the store and got great and courteous service! What a relief!

Summary: good service, nice folks Details: stopped in to inquire about a remote start for my car. Was quickly helped and was even consulted by the installer on the best options. They were backed up, so spontaneously taking me aside to answer questions was service that I haven't encountered in years in retail.

This location is the best in the area in our experience. The store selections and products are comparable in each location. In comparison, we have had the best customer service at the Cedar Park location. The customer service and geek squad staff have been exceptionally in comparison.

Customer service has always been amazing at Best Buy, but I was blown away when I went and the store was being remodeled and even though the store was closed to the public, they were able to locate what I needed very quickly and I paid right there at the door. I love you Best Buy!!

Best Buy at Cedar Park is my preferred shopping location. I always received outstanding services. Anything that I have ordered is delivered between 3-5 days. Even the delivery personnel are very courteous. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this particular store.

Went in to purchase phone. After watching the rep fumble the setup got a call next day saying T-Mobile and Best Buy were viewing 2 different numbers. Spent at least 2 more hours before walking away with no phone blaming the plan but sounds like a Best Buy or T-Mobile issue

It's a real shame how best buy customer service has deteriorated. I used to love these stores. Went to buy a new TV , I had to, and for 20 minutes or so, never got anyone to help. Had to go walmart for the tv , and got better customer service. NOW THAT'S THE REAL SHAME!
