Used Best Moves for our recent move and the experience was exceptional. From the start, the costs were laid out clearly and the schedule was straight forward. I appreciated the ability to layout each room and provide the details ahead of time for the most accurate costing. On the day of the move I happened to be about 15 minutes late to my old house and I was surprised that the crew (of 4) hadn’t started the clock. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the team lead and given the rundown of what they were going to do. The entire move turned out to be much greater than I’d anticipated (which was my fault for not estimating well enough at the beginning), but the team didn’t complain once through the 12 hours of moving. We had initially booked for nine hours, this was three hours over. They packed, moved, and unpacked over the entire course of the time, and even showed me the hours that they clocked for breaks. The price at the end of it, which I was expecting to be much higher, was actually very reasonable. All of the crewmembers were friendly, courteous, and prudent. 10/1@ would recommend.

We recently made a long distance move from Calgary area to Medicine Hat. Serg and his crew were fantastic to deal with. I honestly can’t thank Best Moves enough for the hard work, dedication and professionalism they bring to their jobs. From arrival time to drop off I was kept in the loop and the guys were all super dedicated to customer service. Everything was neatly wrapped, nothing was damaged and you can tell they took care of our belongings. Russ was also great at answering questions and being completely transparent with the costs and the process of how the entire move would go. Unbelievably good company!! Very responsive when booking and throughout the whole process. The work ethic and professionalism of the men who came was remarkable. The cost was very reasonable, and they only charge when they are actively working! Wouldn’t take a break on my dime even when I told them it was ok. Tudor worked tirelessly all day, and he helped bring my stress levels down with his calm and capable demeanour. Vlad, Adam and Serhii were all so hardworking and friendly, made the day feel great! I called them back the same week (lucky to find an opening!) to help with a second job, something I thought I would do myself, my garage. Vitalii and Vitaliy made quick work of packing and hauling the mess, helped dismantle and carry out a HUGE bedroom set safely and quickly, and unloaded and very neatly packed it into my new garage. Would hire them all again in a heartbeat and am recommending this company to anyone who needs to move.

I hired Best Moves for my big move into my newly renovated home. Serge, Vlad 1 and Vlad 2 worked like unstoppable machines today for a 2 trip 5 bedroom house move… they soldiered on for 12.5 hours… and they were helped by Yonis (I hope I am spelling it right) for half of it. They did not complain and did not seem to tire out.Carried easily over hundred by themselves on their backs. They did not once use a dolly! They did a fair amount of packing, disassembled the home gym and reassembled it again. Far above and beyond all expectations for professionalism and hard work. I almost feel like moving again just so that I can hire them again! Max is very professional, pleasant and responsive . I wish all businesses were operated this way. Really awesome experience with this moving company. I loved that I was able to communicate with the company by text. They were very upfront and clear about their pricing. They give you a lot of options for submitting your inventory to get the most accurate quote possible. We made all the arrangements by text and email and submitted inventory electronically, it was so easy and efficient. The moving company also gave us various suggestions to help us save money on the move and we ended up coming in well under budget - partially from their cost-saving suggestions and also because the movers worked very efficiently. We had no damage to any of our items, they accommodated all our special requests, and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. Will absolutely recommend and use again!

Yesterday, we hired Best Moves for our moving needs, and two movers (same name, Vitali :-)) arrived promptly. They did an exceptional job, which surprised us in the best way possible. Despite having numerous heavy items to transport from our old place to the new one, not a single thing was damaged or scratched during the process. Even the walls remained pristine. We appreciated their use of a stopwatch, ensuring they didn’t charge us during their breaks. Tudor, a supervisor, also visited our new place to ensure everything was in order. Very clean and professional move. Russ was very communicative and responsive every step of the way from providing a detailed breakdown of the quote to the moving day itself. His team (2 guys - 1 named Mischa) were the best movers I've ever gotten. I've moved several times around Calgary and other parts of Canada, but this was the best executed move I could have hoped for - including reassuring me through the move itself when things around me weren't lining up. These guys were not only fast with the move process, but I was truly impressed with the level of care they showed my belongings (wrapped in that blue moving blanket and taped a lot). The tetris-like stacking in the truck was also quite something to see. Move went splendidly!

I have never used a moving company before. I asked online and a contact of mine on Twitter suggested Best Moves. I filled out the quote and the move went amazing. I had Theodore, AJ and I think the other man's name was James. They were terrific and worked so hard, oh my goodness. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much! It's not easy to go from apartment to apartment. They did this quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed. 2 bed + den (I have a lot of stuff), from downtown to the far NW, took a total of 6.5 hours. Just to give you an idea of time. Coordinating so that we met all of the elevator book times was challenging but they did it. Unload was a lot quicker than the load up. Thanks again guys! You're amazing.

BELOW WHAT THEY QUOTED!!!! We hadn't moved in 14 years and it can be stressful. We ended up using Best Moves because they had a high google rating and their quote was clear and precise. Theodore and his crew were amazing. We needed two large trucks for the move and I think at one point 7 guys were there helping. Everyone was polite and friendly. When they arrived at the new house, we changed our minds as to where some of the furniture went and had them move it up and down stairs a few too many times... they had no problem doing that. Finally, when we got the bill, it was less than what they had quoted. We don't plan on moving anytime soon, but this business will be the first name I say if any friends or family need a mover

We recently had a team of 4 help us with a full day move. First off, they were very responsive and their quote was basically spot on with the actual charge. The move was super smooth to the point where I could focus on other tasks. Everyone was courteous, and took great care in moving all items. They were also extremely efficient in doing so. We even had a couple large pieces that had to be deconstructed and then re-constructed which the team was able to quickly do all of this as well. I've moved many times in the past, and this has by far been the one of the best experiences so far with movers. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a safe, reliable, very reasonably-priced and stress-free move.

Best Moves, as the name implies really do the best moves. The crews were fantastic to work with. Max was super responsive and helpful trying to get my move and storage set up! The first crew on move out day (Misha, Jonas and William) worked quickly, wrapping all the furniture before loading. The second crew on move in day (Sergii, Russ, Vlad) moved even quicker, and got all the furniture where we wanted it and reassembled as requested! They even provided some extra muscle moving some other items in the house. Both crews were extremely professional, showed up on time and used carpet runners throughout the house. 10/10 would recommend.

This was the best moving experience ever. Great pre-move customer service. On moving day Tudor and Vlad arrived right on time and worked like a well-oiled machine loading everything. I would recommend this moving company every time! Max is very easy to speak with and book services. The communication skills of this company are excellent. I was never left wondering if they would turn up. On the move day itself, Misha and Adam arrived when they said they would and got to work straight away. The truck was plenty big enough (have had that issue before), and they took very good care of everything. The move was to a storage locker, and Misha packed everything in so well that there was actually room to spare. Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Best Moves was my first experience hiring movers and It was an excellent experience. Both movers worked quick and carefully throughout the day. They did an amazing job and not a single wall was hit in the process. They 2 guys were very friendly and informative throughout the process. They were even able to move my 9ft couch without having to remove the door which it was done previously by the furniture store workers. They helped pull down the tv from the wall and even helped fix one of my dressers. I would hire Best Moves again for any other move and I’d recommend it to everyone.

Best moves were great to deal with from start to finish! They followed up with our quote and worked with us to establish a price as we were to busy to fill out their inventory list. The 2 movers that showed up communicated well and worked harder than anyone could ask for beating the time estimate and saving us money. They had one small incident that marked up our wall but they were honest and owned it, fixing it right away. Professional, honest and the price isn’t much more than renting your own moving truck and buying pizza and beer for your friends. Highly recommended!

Best Moves were amazing to work with. We had three guys originally to come and help and then realized the job was bigger than we thought. They called in another guy to help and all four were amazing. They ended up working a very long day but all of them were super friendly and professional. Very happy with the service and all of our stuff was handled very carefully. The walls in our new house don't have a single scratch or scuff on them. Very impressed with their work and all of the guys amazing attitudes. Would definitely hire them again!

I had 6 guys and 2 trucks move us. It took 12 1/2 hrs to pack up and unload. A very long day!! Each crew member had only been in Canada for less than a year but boy were they enthusiastic, hard working and considerate. They took great care with my items and managed to make a move from a 3 bedroom home with lots of stuff bearable. We are forever grateful to Best Moves and their staff. Misha and Adam were excellent to work with. I've used Best Moves twice and both times they were very courteous, and careful with the loading of furniture especially up and down stairs. Lifted heavy furniture items and treadmill into basement. Yes, a treadmill. Asked them to do a few extra items moves from one floor to the other as well. No problem. Job well done! Their name says it all, they are the best and we intend to use them for our next move. Although the initial plan was to use the elevator to move our furniture to our second story condo, construction constraints made this impossible. No problem for Best Moves, they adjusted very quickly and manually moved our furniture using the staircase. Surprisingly the adjustment did not result in additional costs which speaks well as to how hard their movers work and how accommodating they are. We were impressed.

The showed up on time, were polite, friendly and helpful, and they worked extra hours as the move was somewhat complex for reasons beyond their control (broken elevator at destination). We hired Best Moves to move into our first house and they exceeded all of our expectations. I would 100% recommend! They were on time, professional yet friendly and very careful with all of our belongings. They even waited for me to run to the store and get more felt floor protectors for the couch legs, when they noticed the old ones had come off, before setting the couch down on the hardwood. We had 3 guys come do our move and in the end our final invoice came out to exactly what the estimate was.

I moved to Calgary from Toronto and had a 20 foot shipping container to unload. The movers arrived during the set upon time, and also sent a txt that they are on their way. During the unloading the followed all my instructions and were very careful & mindful of the walls as to not damage anything. What a wonderful professional team! They showed up on time and were very careful with fragile items which they packed in extra blankets. They were dealing with a bit of time pressure as I had the elevator booked only for a certain time and the amount I owed was pretty much the same as estimated, so no surprises!!! I have nothing but positive things to say about Best Moves. Tudor and Orest were punctual, friendly, respectful, and very quick. Our move went very smoothly and we finished way earlier than expected. They definitely live up to their name and I would use them again in a heartbeat.
