Had a few positive experiences here, but bad visits far outweigh the good ones. Two of my appointments were cancelled last year, only half an hour before the actual appointment – in both cases I was notified just as I was leaving the house. These appointments were within 4 days of each other, and since I took time off work for them, it would have been nice if I could also charge the dentist a $75 last minute cancellation fee. I happen to think that my time is valuable as well. Spouse had a root canal done here, which subsequently got infected as the root cavity wasn’t properly sealed. The same dentist at ADC had to re-do it, and we got charged for this work again. To make things worse, there was even a long lasting side effect after the procedure (tingle on the side of the lip) possibly due to freezing/nerve damage. For my own root canal, I requested a referral to a specialist / endodontist, who did an excellent job removing the pulp/sealing the roots. Afterwards, I went back to ADC where the dentist placed a permanent filling inside the tooth cavity. I’ve recently discovered that this filling was not placed properly, which caused some complications/leakage inside the tooth, and I am now back at the specialist’s office to see if it can be repaired. The tooth may have to be extracted at this point, after nearly $2k already spent on this root canal. On another separate visit to this dentist, a simple filling was not done properly (ended up being loose). I had it re-done at another dental office, even though insurance had to cover the cost. Someone suggested to me that I could go back and see if the dentist at ADC (who originally did the filling) would fix it for free, but I chose not to go back there again. I am just not sure why I waited so long to switch to another dental office. You can take any of these events on their own, and it’s probably not such a big deal (these things happen, right), but combine them all together and then it just becomes a little bit too much to tolerate… For some of you, this place may be wonderful, as it seems that new patients are randomly assigned to one of the family dentists (8 of them I believe). This is why your own experiences may be completely different than mine. For what it’s worth, I just felt that I should share some of my own, so take them as you will. The only great thing about that place, in my own view, is Andrea (the hygienist).

I would suggest trying a different clinic or another doctor besides Dr. Karim if you need a chipped tooth fixed. I first attended the office at the end of January to get my chipped front tooth fixed. It was an awkward chip and so I asked Dr. Karim if it would be a waste of time to get a filling and stated adamantly that I did not want to pay for it to be filled for it so it can just fall off later. Dr. Karim assured me that it was standard practice to have the tooth filled. I paid just shy of $500 for the filling and appointment. During the appointment she didn’t notice the tooth was attached to a wire and also didn’t notice that pressure was being placed on my tooth. For $166 assessment of the tooth you would think this would be noticed. Then 1.5 weeks later my filling popped off. I went into have it fixed. To their credit, I did not have to pay to have it fixed. However, this is when they suggested a night guard which would cost me another $500 and recommend that I get a cleaning done. I am a student without much coverage so I expressed that I would have to save up. I went to the cleaning 2 weeks later and during the cleaning a piece of my filling was chipped off. They stated that I would be responsible for paying for the repair since the filling will keep falling off and they had suggested a night guard two weeks earlier. Overall, I believe that the expert opinions that I received were inaccurate and not fully honest. I had said that I was not interested in the filling because I was worried that it would just keep falling off, however, due to Dr. Karim’s being a dental professional I decided to listen to her expert opinion. This did not benefit me and had left me with an empty wallet and not much to show for it. If you have insurance and a lot of time then I suggest going here. Otherwise, it was made very clear the privilege that is associated with dentistry and the lack of honesty from this experience. However, I will say that the secretaries were always friendly and were always willing to help.

At my sister's suggestion, I decided to try out this Dental Office earlier today, looking for immediate help with a very sore tooth. Full disclosure: I am terribly fearful of dentists. Also, I never floss, so not only was I fearful of the pain I might endure because of the sore tooth, I was also dreading the embarrassment at the feedback I would receive once I opened my mouth. They are open early, so I was able to reach a very friendly receptionist who gave me an appointment for later in the morning. I saw Dr Hunt, and her assistant Zara for a preliminary assessment of the unique circumstances that were causing the pain. Xrays were taken and Dr. Hunt took as much time as I required to carefully explain everything we were seeing on the film. (I'm curious about these things so I'm sure I was asking many more questions than usual) All along, I never felted rushed and I was never made to feel embarrassed. Dr. Hunt is friendly, engaging and very "present". My many options were all explained to me, questions were asked, and I eventually left feeling secure that I had a prescription for temporary pain relief (should the pain become unbearable) along with a follow up appointment with the periodontist whose expertise would be required moving forward. This company offers gas and full sedation options for those who may require it in order to follow through with the dental work required in the future. I trust that my experiences will continue to be positive. Should that not be the case, then I guess I'll be back here to share that feedback too. Good luck with your dental needs. Oh, and ... don't be like me, floss!

Used to have dental care here and did not really have a specific dentist. Needed a root canal and they were insistent that I need major surgery for that or else it would take several visits. I did not think I needed to be put to sleep for this and the next dentist I saw in Quebec said "this can be done in 2 or 3 visits at most". So went with the dentist that had the more sensible option and actually listened. Still Quebec is quite far for me, so needed some emergency dental care-I had a serious jaw injury and hit my teeth. Associated gives me a time the next day for a x-ray. I show up, early too and they tell me they are overbooked and to come back. This was for emergency care too. So, I end up finding a dentist who could see me right away on Bank st....lots of dentists in this area. THEN I GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL STATING I DID NOT SHOW UP FOR MY APT AND THEY WANT TO BILL BE $75?? THEIR CLINIC SENT ME AWAY WHEN I DID SHOW UP. SPOKE TO THE OFFICE MANAGER WHO SAID I DID SEE A DENTIST-THE MANAGER HAD NO IDEA WHO I WAS JUST THAT THERE WAS A NOTE ON MY FILE,SO SHE THOUGHT I SAW A DENTIST. I SENT THE CLINIC A LETTER, DROPPED OFF IN PERSON, FOLLOWED UP BY PHONE-THEY ARE STILL INSISTENT THEY NEVER GOT MY LETTER. -this was for a letter I dropped off in person and handed to a receptionist myself. A LAWYER TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY WAY TO LEGALLY BE SURE THEY GET MY LETTER IS TO SENT IT BY REGISTERED MAIL AND HAVE SOMEONE SIGN FOR IT. I WENT TO THE POST OFFICE IN THE SAME MALL TO SEND A COPY OF MY PREVIOUS LETTER THAT SUPPOSEDLY THEY NEVER RECEIVED.

This office has been great for many years, until the pandemic hit. They were already overly militant from the start with forehead temperature scanning, screening questions sent by email before appt and then asked all over again out loud at the entrance. They have extremely limited seating in the waiting area (chairs well over 6ft spacing) and quickly run to disinfect your seat with wipes once you get called - as though your pants and shirt may somehow be diseased. Makes you feel so welcome. The office also refuses to accept anyone with a medical mask exemption. Fast forward to now, they are now asking all who enter to disclose their medical status upon entry. While this has zero bearing on whether or not you will be admitted, they insist on asking regardless. There is no option for not disclosing. They are not obligated to ask people about this to access dental care. Many other clinics do not. In fact, we are not even asked at our family doctor’s clinic. I hope things will change for a better patient experience in the future.

I had an appointment in October because I was experiencing tooth pain. After several radiographs, the dentist decided that I needed a root canal in one tooth, work on another tooth, and that one of the two possibly needed to be extracted if I waited too long to treat it. I was given an estimate of 1400$, which I could not afford so I decided to wait and see my dentist in Lebanon. My Lebanese dentist took radiographs himself, and he concluded that there is actually nothing wrong with my tooth. My problem was caused by bruxism, and a root canal would have been an overtreatment. A minor correction later and I no longer have any pain. I am concerned because I’m wondering if this was a mistake due to bad radiography, incompetence, or just a way to make more money. However, even though I was disappointed with the misdiagnosis, my dental hygenist was really nice and the staff was overall courteous and pleasant to work with.

I went to get a filling done in August due to a bad tooth ache and unfortunately my tooth was hurting for another 2 weeks. I went to another dentist and he said he filling was poorly done and caused the other tooth to hurt. Long story short is that the other dentist that I went to fixed the filling and he said that it was done too high causing the other teeth to push against each other and that’s why it was painful. The dentist at the Billings Bridge Plaza dentist office said she’s not a specialist and said I will need to see another dentist if my tooth continues to hurt. She recommended a root canal. The other dentist said it’s not needed and fixed the filling. Overall not a good experience and wasted my money.

Hey Public. me again, more than a year after the review below. 09/2022, BBDC is still doing a great job to keep their patients (me) safe and sound even with crazy changing world we live in. Dr. Rodriquez sadly retired, but successfuly passed the torch to a new Dr. Azziz (not sure of spelling). this was previous post from before: Billings Bridge dental new covid procedures were great. safe and made me feel comfortable. even Pre-Pandemic their procedures dealt with all sorts of infectious diseases, so they are doing way more than required, as a client, very happy to follow the new protocols and answer any questions to stop the spread. and i have super clean teeth now, with no cavities! thank-you BBDental

BBDC takes care.of you from the moment they greet you on the phone to the moment you leave their office smiling. I had a filling fall out this past weekend and wanted it fixed ASAP. They were able to fit me in today (a Monday). This was my first experience with them and I cannot recommend them enough. The front staff greet you and review the COVID protocols. they were fantastic. Dr. Abdul Jamshaid and Jennifer were professional, explained everything well and efficient! I was in and out in no time. Just a note, if you're not a regular patient, but have insurance, they send it to your insurance for you, but you pay up front.

I was referred to this clinic by Dr.Kershman for filling in 2 gaps in the front of my teeth. I was seen by Dr. Romeo Antoun, and his assistant Michelle.They were amazing. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Antoun would ask to make sure I'm okay or I'm any kind of discomfort. He was very clear about what steps he was taking which is always great . By the time we were done, just taking one look at my new smile brought me to tears. Absolutely incredable work. I'm so pleased with the end result. Thank you so much Dr. Antoun, and Michelle for taking good care of me .

I was with my dentist for 14 years, until he retired, so there were big shoes to fill as I have complex care needs and anxiety - and I am impressed! Their COVID safety practices are very good, and their flexibility is incredible - I cracked a tooth and they got me in same day with an available dentist. Both Dr. Nina and Dr. Azzi have been amazing, as well as the dental technicians. I also commend them for being trans-friendly and switching pronouns mid-sentence when I let them know, and their admin staff worked with me around tricky name/insurance issues. Really awesome clinic!

I have been a client for over 20 years, and plan to continue because I always receive professional and friendly treatment. Staff is very consistent - I got to know my dentist, my hygienist and my gum specialist quite well, and they know me, too. That allows for continuity and quality of my dental care as I do not have to explain issues to someone new all the time. The advice I get is sound and practical. I never felt that unnecessary service was pushed one me or my children, who are also clients of the Centre. A great place I would (and do!) highly recommend.

Left Dr. Ivanita for a few years due to what I thought was a more convenient location. Before long, I was regretting the move but stuck with it for several years because I didn't want to flip flop back and forth. I am extremely happy to be back and the transition back was seamless. Have moved all 6 family members back. Great with the kids. Extremely convenient office hours. Great admin staff. Thank you for welcoming my family back! 2021 update. I have been going to Billings Bridge Dental Centre for years. Any time I had an emergency they always fit me. I have tried going to other clinics just because they were closer to where I live but I always end up going back to BBDC. The clinic has a new software for doing a mouthguard which is great because there was not a need for doing the foam in the mouth and the forms and all the goes along with the panic of having that gear in your mouth. They basically point at your teeth and take an image, and this is pretty amazing if you ask me.

If I could give a zero star I would. I had an appointment end of March and the technician told me she would get in contact with me about booking a follow up service. However none ever contacted me and when I called and left a voicemail a week ago, none called me. This is unacceptable behaviour for the ridiculous price you have to pay for the subpar service. Honestly don’t go here. They are never on time and if your dentist is not present the day of your appointment forget about hearing back if they have to follow up with you.

Absolutely amazing experience. I am the worst when it comes to dental work, I can barely handle a cleaning. Yesterday I had a dental emergency and was in so much pain I couldn't eat or sleep. I called associated dental care and they squeezed me in right away between patients. They had to extract the tooth and were able to work through my extreme panic and get the job done in under 20 minutes. Today I don't feel a thing, not even the least bit sore. I would recommend this clinic to absolutely anyone and everyone!

I was extremely happy with my experience. The staff and dentist were so friendly, I Understood everything and felt very comfortable. My whole family have had all their dental needs cared for by this group for many years. Our own dentist, Dr. Rodriguez, is very professional, effective and never hurts! In an emergency, if he is absent, highly competent replacements are always available. The location is excellent and all the staff are a pleasure to work with. Our technical, Sylvie, is particularly effective and professional in all her dealing with us and I would not hesitate to recomend this firm to anyone who needs the best in dental care.

My family has been going here for over 20 years. Great service and never had any issues. They are also opened late during the week and also opened on Saturday. In this post-pandemic world, they took top notch safety measures: they have professional air purifying devices in every room and their staff wear both masks and clear face visors. They also screen all patients' temperatures at the door and require all patients to disinfect their hands and wear masks (except during cleanings and procedures).

Since moving to Ottawa in 2019, I have been a regular client at this dental clinic. Their services are exceptional! What really stands out for me is their flexible schedule, especially the extended hours during weekends, which is perfect for anyone unable to visit on weekdays. The staff at Associated Dental Care are exceptional. I called with an dental emergency and they fit me in immediately. The reception staff were incredibly sympathetic to my needs. Dr. Zapolski took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions, and was patient with me throughout the appointment. The staff were helpful, knowledgable, and eased my anxiety about a stressful situation. I couldn't have asked for better team!

I have been with the Billings Bridge Dental Care for over 25 years. I have moved to the country but I did not want to change dental clinic because I have only received great service at that clinic. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The doctors are just so great. I have had the same dental hygienist for year and could not ask for better service and care. I recommend this clinic to anybody who is scared of dental work.

I have been going to Billings Bridge Dental Centre for 35 years now. The team is great and over the years several of my friends and family members have been referred. One of the big differences I noticed right of was how gentle Dr. Rodrigues was. He has a really light touch and has taken care of my dental needs through these 35 years. Tammy has been doing the cleanings and keeps me on-track with my flossing.

Dr Estelle Azzi.. I can't stress enough to book with her. She is a good listener, professional and knows what she is doing. I had about 12 dentists in Canada and abroad and she is the best of the best. During the session she explained to me everything and made sure I am comfortable to proceed and after the session I didn't feel anything odd in my mouth although she worked on 2 teeth. Very satisfied with the service. Super friendly staff; dentists and hygienists do everything they can to accommodate your needs. Their protocols for Covid really made me feel safe and I felt like I was in good hands. I already took my two teenagers there and they were very satisfied. I had my dental cleaning done in my dental clinic by Whitney. She was cozy and pleasant, sincerely friendly - beside the wonderful cleaning job she did on me. The result is wonderful, and I did not feel any discomfort, though usually am prepared that any dental procedure may not feel exactly like a spa experience. :) Whitney actually does provide that kind of an experience. I had a very positive experience today with one of the front receptionist, Lisa. I was a bit frustrated over a situation and misdirected my annoyance at Lisa. Lisa was super kind, empathic, compassionate and professional. Lisa went out of her way to support me with my concern. I appreciate the care she provided me, her kindness was much appreciated during a difficult day. Thank you Lisa.

The best experience!!! Everyone was very friendly, the clinic was super clean and inviting, Dr. Ivanita and the dental assistants were very clear about my treatments and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. My hygienist, Helen, was so kind and did her best to make me feel comfortable. It was my first time at Billing’s Bridge Dental Centre yesterday, and won’t be my last!

This dental clinic has been the worst experience. The receptionist do not accommodate well with the services and the dentist who treated me did such a bad job on my tooth, every month Ive had a really bad tooth ache specifically on the bottom right. I completely stopped going to this clinic and have started going to another. Thank you for your services but I will NOT be returning!

Whitney (Dental hygienist) is absolutely fabulous! Both my wife and I have been seeing her and she takes extra good care of us, we’re very grateful. Whitney goes above and beyond, best teeth cleaning we’ve ever had. She is meticulous with our pearly whites, helps keep them extra healthy, additionally she is time efficient! And punctual. I've been going here for years mostly because of the flexible hours. It's a large practice which means they can offer evening and weekend appointments and emergency visits. They do their best to give you care options that work with your budget and are always friendly and accommodating. Hygenist Sylvie P is fantastic. She is genuinely caring and has a gentle hand.

This is the safest place to be, the staff treat you like royalty. My hygienist Tammy is the best, she is friendly and loving. Getting my teeth cleaned is done with care. I can tell you how I am treated, but you must go there to experience the Royal Treatment. The staff were hand picked with the same gentle respectfully and dignity they show to the patients.

I don't believe more could be expected from a dental clinic; Dr. Shaan is fantastic to the point that my kids actually get excited about "going to the dentist"! Staff is always friendly and efficient. We moved far from the clinic recently but are happy to make the trip whenever necessary because of how great things have been for us over the years there.

When I called for a consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed, I was told it would be a $35 fee flat out. They failed to mention that was only to book the appointment and that it was an additional $100 on top of that to even have them look at my teeth and give me a consultation. Had I known this, I would have never booked my appointment.

Great friendly speedy service. I sound like I'm talking about a car maintenance shop, but I'm not. Btw, don't get the raspberry fluoride if you have the option to choose a different flavour. It was super salty (wish there was a word like cloying, but for excessive saltiness). I usually like raspberry flavour but that was nasty

The receptionists are efficient and very friendly. The dentists I've had are very skilled but not super personable (which is not a big deal). But I did have an assistant who was really impatient and almost rough with me. As a nervous patient it added to my anxiety and I find assistants and hygienists really make all the difference.

Friendly, professional, clean and prompt. Staff engaged me within 15 seconds of my walking in from the mall corridor. They even took me in a little earlier than the scheduled appointment when I arrived early. The dentist and dental assistant were both on the same page, the procedures were smooth and effective. I have been a client here since 1987. My dentist, Dr. Jamshaid, is amazing. After cavities, extractions, and root canals, he has been caring, gentle, and extremely good. The hygienists and support staff are amazing, friendly, and know there stuff. If you need dental services, it is THE place to try and get into in Ottawa.

I had an awesome experience this week getting my teeth cleaned with Shannon and then having a full dental exam with Doctor Ivanita. The entire staff there is amazing and Dr. Ivanita is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. He’s so kind, put me at ease immediately and explained things very well. I’ll never go anywhere else.

First came to them with the biggest fear of dentists. Needed to be sedated for cleanings. Fast forward many years and the fear is gone. Normal cleanings without sedation. These guys are the best. From the dentist to the anesthesiologist to the hygienist to the staff minding the front desks. All go above and beyond.

I love associated dental care. Loyal fan for years. Friendly, excellent care, clean comfy facility! If you've been disappointed in the past, give them a try - you won't be disappointed! Since dentistry is never easy they are very professional and good at what they do. Dental care with a gentle, friendly touch.

The staff is very nice and caring and I have been going there for a few years now. I have yet to have a bad experience there. At least no experience worse than normal dental work of course. They also offer free wifi in the waiting room and they have a water cooler. So, even the wait is better than most places.

I have been with them for more than 20 years for scaling, cavity treatment, and surgical periodontal therapy. The procedure is explained well, professional and high quality work, good after care and clean environment. The staffs are pleasant and professional. I have not been disappointed yet.

Staff are pleasant, attentive and professional. I’ve only had good experiences which included having to be recommended for a tooth extraction and more recently my crown of thirty years has to be removed and a filling dinner. The new cap is just fantastic. Nothing bad to say.
