As a professional musician (with the store person experience in a big music store overseas) I can appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into providing such a high level of service. Every time I come here, I am met with an outstanding level of customer assistance that never fails to leave me feeling satisfied and taken care of. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go above and beyond to help me find what I need. Whether I'm looking for a specific instrument, accessory, or just browsing the selection, the level of service I receive is consistently top-notch. Im my opinion this is something that sets Billy Hyde apart from other music stores in the area.

I had a pleasant email experience with Mark the 'Billy Hyde Music' store manager, Adelaide. Mark was helpful and concerned about my querie's, suggesting what they could do to help. I went to the store, where I connected with Paul, one of the store's friendly staff, who went out of his way to help me. Paul sorted my queries out, and my experience there was very pleasant. I have some on going business in the pipeline, which Paul will contact me as soon as the product arrives in store. Billy Hyde are such pros when it comes to pretty much everything musical and technical. I keep going back as a customer because they are incredible knowledgeable, helpful and always go the extra mile to assist us with information, ordering parts and offering us the best quality product for the best price. Specifically, Paul is a stand-out guy and brilliant service provider. He always has a big beaming smile and is unbelievably accommodating and helpful. Nothing is too much for him. We are consistent customers because his service is next level!

Great looking store with great products. However the guy up in the percussion area that served me needs to stop treating people like they came down in the last shower. He oretended they didn't have the product in the price range I was looking for. But when I was going to leave he magically found what I was after. Then, he sold me the product and I asked for an accessory to it. I bought the accessory but when I unpacked the product I found the accessory already inside. It came with the product. I'll go elsewhere next time.

Last week i finally able to pop in n check it out . The guys where really nice , as I wanted to check out the Evh frankie ( in the flesh ) , plus others etc . I tried it out , but not plugged in , just wanted to get the feel etc. Its the second time I've been and the staff are always friendly and no pressure sale pitch and let me take some pics to show the wife ( ha ) etc. I'll be back for sure , ( Might have check out the lay-by plans ) as I said to the boys , they have too many to chose from . ❤️

Bought a guitar online. When it arrived the finish quality was atrocious with black sandmarks under the clear finish. Nothing like the photo on the website. Guy at the store was arrogant and said 'nothing wrong technically with the guitar, so nothing can be done'. Emailed Fender Australia. They called me right away. They have arranged to collect the guitar and swap it for a perfect one. Well b4 xmas. This is what you call service Billy Hyde. You could learn something. But I won't be back, ever.

I really wanted to like this store but unfortunately I had the worst experience from them. I sent my speaker back for repair in first week of August. Up until October they haven't fixed it. Everytime you talk to them, they will confuse you and the story just keeps going in circles until you give up. They don't seem to care if something will go wrong from the items you bought from them that means they are done with you. Sadly very terrible experience.

Went to Billy Hyde to purchase a beginner’s guitar for my daughter. Julius was super friendly and helpful - great with the kids, handing out stickers and plectrums. Didn’t try and upsell us and recommended an entry level guitar and a coupe of others to try. We also bought a stand and Julius gave us a very decent discount! Fantastic customer service and a huge range of instruments to cater for musicians at all levels. Highly recommend

Each time we visit Billy Hyde's we have a wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They don't make you feel dumb when you ask questions, they seem genuinely excited to help you pick out your instruments or assist with any other needs. Highly recommend. The store is well stocked with a huge variety. Truly great customer service. We won't go anywhere else for our musical needs.

Sales assistant was great. We were looking for a beginner left-handed (always makes it harder) electric guitar and accessories and he knew his stuff and didn’t pressure us. We did get an incredible deal on the guitar elsewhere (left handed stock is so hard to come by), but came back for all the accessories and amp which he did an excellent price on as well even though we got the guitar elsewhere.

I will be honest in that I usually go to a different store and have bought a number of instruments from them but, my guys were not open boxing day and I wandered in to Billy Hyde's just because I was bored. The staff were very happy and helpful as well as way more friendly than I expected for guys working Boxing Day!! So, I bought a guitar... Well done guys, You are awesome!!

Really wanted to like this place, not exactly close to me so the one time we get a chance to go in... after picking up 2-3 guitars one of the staff spent about 20 minutes drowning out everyone else in the store. I gave up trying guitars went and looked at the keys. Everyone else had left the store, so did we. 3 stars is for the selection, it's really good.

First time going into the new shop and it's pretty great. All the drumming stuff us up stairs which iscwhere I sient mist if my time. Everyone working there was pretty chill no salesmen with commission breath. Seemed happy to let you browse and answer any questions. Just sucks I got no money atm I'll Def be back though.

went there with mother to find piano accordion box case they didn't sell them but looked up who in Adelaide does and gave name of shop and phone number and suburb. We rang them from the car and got some info emailed to us as it was accross town and didnt have time as had prior engagement. Well done

Friendly, welcoming staff. My ten year old son was encouraged to try out the guitars and the staff were generous with their praise, which helped my son's confidence while we chose the right guitar for him. Nothing was too much trouble. Very happy with the selection and service.

Paul was amazing, spending over 45 minutes with me explaining all the different synthesizers, taking into account what I needed, my experience and budget. Huge knowledge, so friendly and I will certainly be going back for any electronic music needs. Couldn't be happier

Billy Hyde is our go to music shop in Adelaide. The staff are all super helpful and very knowledgeable. My son plays both the drums and guitar and they are always there with advice and answer any questions that we have. Highly recommend!

Not only is this an incredible and well stocked music shop, but the staff are amazing. We lost a toy there and someone kindly put it aside and kept it safe for us for a week before we realised and phoned up. Definitely give stars!
