We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here. I booked a reservation and called the restaurant 2 weeks ahead of time. The manager was extremely helpful and allowed me to drop off a cake, balloons and flowers to surprise him. The staff were extremely accommodating and really made the night magical for us. They went over and above to decorate and seated us in a private corner for dinner. Additionally, they all came out with sparklers and the cake and sang happy birthday to him. He had a wonderful time. We started the evening with a topical Jam Jar and garlic bread with cheese for starters. We followed this up with a Cherry Daiquiri and OH Johnnie Cocktails and the Siena Pizza for mains. However, we did not get any dessert as the cake was served after dinner. The dessert options were few. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The place is well lit with good music. The staff were extremely helpful and provided me with aid as my heel broke. Despite the minor hiccup, I had a wonderful night. A special shout out to the staff for treating us like VIPs. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

Service is pathetic..we waited 5 minutes to be seated, not because they were busy, but the staff simply chose to walk past us (definitely a lack if experienced servers). Cocktails had ingredients missing, but they don't tell you that they didnt put it in, we had to ask it was missing certain things, and then they say "we were out of stock" Vibe was good - however the place was quiet for the nunber of seats they have, we went for RnB Wednesday and there were some RnB songs , but 50cents and Drake aren't exactly RnB .. Food is mediocre as is the kitchen manager and QA. I ordered a medium fillet which was decent and asked for a baked potato and extra veg - I received sliced fried potatoes but they chose to put that ony partners plate instead with his 10 fried chips. His medium rare sirloin was given to him rare and when we raised this with the kitchen manager she simply apologized and didn't even ask to take his steak back and refire it. My overall impression - it is an orchestra of incompetence that relies in its location to carry it... would give the food a miss - a good place to chill for a beer and a vibe.. but then again, so is tigersmilk

The food here was great but I'm disgusted with the service I've been there 3 times already and each and every time I was given an incorrect bill and I had to correct the bill and send it back , on my last two visits I had rude a waitress and for that reason I didn't give a Tip. The frustrating part was that the customer service was so pathetic and when I pay my bill both waiters on both occasions said to me "Oh you haven't even tipped me" I think a tip is voluntary of a customer if a customer is really thrilled with the service however with the service I have received I would never spare any tip.

I am highly disappointed by the service and treatment that I received at Black Lounge on Saturday . My phone " was stolen" and i asked for assistance from the Manager who went on to insult me saying " I am drunk and dramatic and I can go ahead an report them on Hello Peter she doesn't care " Honestly all I wanted was someone to help me look for it or for her to check the footage but I got now assistance instead I was insulted . I am still so hurt and disappointed .

The service was terrible, waiters were very rude including the Manger. We waited more than ten minutes to get served and we kept calling for the waiter to serve us as they were busy with other tables but it was not even busy. After we had our food the waiter demanded that we tip them of which we didn't as the service was not worth the tip. They were very selective on who they served well but they served us terribly.

Black was a true gem. The restaurant's stylish and elegant decor set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The food was exceptional, with flavourfil dishes that were beautifully plated. On the 6 Dec 2023 my wife and I had dinner at black. I had made reservation but when we got there no one at the restaurant new about. The service was terrible. Drinks not served correctly. The food was ok but considering the amount it costs. The atmosphere was lacking. Biggest disappointment was the service overall
