As a Muslim, I have been to Blacktown mosque several times for prayers and community events, and I must say it's a wonderful place to worship and connect with others in the Muslim community. The mosque is well-maintained and spacious, with separate areas for men and women to pray. The prayer hall is beautiful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. The imam and the community leaders are knowledgeable and friendly, and they always make an effort to make everyone feel welcome and included. One of the things I appreciate about Blacktown mosque is the sense of community. The mosque hosts regular events and activities for people of all ages, including Quran classes, community dinners, and social gatherings. These events are a great way to connect with other Muslims and build friendships within the community. Additionally, to the spiritual and social benefits, Blacktown mosque also provides practical support to the community. The mosque runs a food bank and a clothing donation program to help those in need, and the community members are always willing to offer assistance and support to those going through difficult times.
I was here in blacktown by chance and thought to pray for asar as i saw my app alarmed me at 4:42pm. I went there and saw the mosque was closed and i didnt know the pin to enter the door, closed wudu and closed toilet too. I saw it was 5:15 pm the asar prayer time , i came again at 5:20 but mosque was still closed. I dont blame mosque nauzubillah but such poor management should never be tolerated at any cost. I mean everyone has a busy life and people get time to pray but management doesnt care about time's importance. This is so disgusting and it should be changed as soon as possible.
Salam It's pretty much open during the daylight, until the last prayer of Isshaa. The place is huge, and it has toilets and showers . When you access use the door , the gate most of the time is closed. Regarding the parking, you will see cars parking in a bus zone area! But you can find street parking on the other streets nearby. If you like this review, please give it a thumbs up
I love this not just because I witnessed it being built but also I love the fact that it caters for women just as it does for men. I’ve to say though the entry door to women’s section (which is on second floor) is a little confusing. It also has an elevator! For all the people who can’t/don’t want to climb the stairs. The architecture is so beautiful
Blacktown Islamic Association has bought a property in the heart of Blacktown for the Muslim community. Ghausia Masjid, 4-A Bessemer St, Blacktown, NSW, they are electing together donations for this purpose. They hope that with your help they may soon become successful in achieving the goal. You can help them with this sacred mission.
They hardly speak english. Good Masjid for old (late 40s) Afghans. They don't care about others apart from Afghans. When they ask for donations they say it's everyones Masjid but if you go there you'll be automatically excluded with there language. Instead of calling it Blacktown Mosque they should call it AFGHAN MOSQUE.
Very responsible and hard working leader (Mr Azamy) and the rest of the team. Very welcoming to all different communities, pay a visit and ask any question you have, You won't leave the mosque without knowledge and hospitality In Sha Allah!
I don’t see prayer times isha slah and zuher is missing please update on your website. I don’t see any information about Ramadan prayer timings how many Rakats (8 or 20) full khatsmul Quran or only Suera recitation.
Big mosque, ideal for offering Friday prayers (1:30pm) for Muslim community. Parking is a big issue. Get there at least 15-20 mins ahead to account for time to find parking place and walk to mosque.
Masjid ahlul bidah and shura consists of kaffirs who believe the spirit of Allah (Swt) is inside Isa As and all of us. When try to explain why they're wrong they're not interested to listen at all
Masha Allaah nice place to offer prayers. Management good and friendly. Should have a website which is user-friendly. Also a Tel no which is readily available to answer people's inquiries
