My mother and 3 kids and I went to the mosque. We were told level 4 is for women and still I tried to pray in level 2 because my mothers knee hurt too badly, and the guy told us to go to the women section. When we went to the women section in level 4 and tried to pray a man on the speaker extremely rudely told us to ' leave that level right now' 2 time (the sectioned time he threateningly said it) We Literally felt attacked to leave. My children under 8years of age didn't even get to pray in the mosque and we had to leave. We tried to find the man to speak and explain to him our situation that we were new in the area and it was our first time and we saw NO signs, where the women section was but we couldn't find him. This was my children's experience in this mosque. Mosque is a place of worship but mostly its a place where you are to find PIECE, PATIENCE, except I didn't see that at all. I am very sorry though because the place looked great and the carpets nice and soft. I'm not sure I'll be visiting again. But please make it easier for the next person to know where to go.

I usually give 5 stars for mosques. But after visiting this mosque today with my 5 year old son, I was really disgusted. My son made some noises while praying, which is normal for kids at that age. After fishing prayer, somebody from mosq committee stood up and announced that it is not acceptable for kids to make noise and asking me as a parent not to bring kids to the mosque, which is against our own Religion. And then other people started talking to me as well about bringing kids to mosque. Some people were supporting saying that kids should be coming to mosque. It was really a very bad experience and I believe these people that are running the mosque are not properly qualified to run. I am surprised to know depth of their knowledge.

It's true that the Masjid is not as big as other places of prayer such as Lakemba mosque, but it has a unique soul. It offers the visitors a big relief of life hustles during their prayers. It's preferred to go early on Fridays as the Masjid gets full quickly. The Masjid is located in the heart of Lakemba's most famous street; Haldon St. It has a back door with a spacious car park at Croydon St. Women have a dedicated space for prayers as well. Not sure if the five daily prayers are held for ladies but definitely Ramadan prayers are available. The Masjid has a good library with a wide variety of Islamic books. It's always great to have some time reading while being there.

We appreciate the location and new renovation. They have done an excellent job. However a few points that I think people who are thinking of attending Ju'mma should be aware of: 1. If you are looking for a mosque that caters to the 80% non-Arabic speaking background that do visit on Friday. This mosque may not be for you. 3. If you don't like the feeling of leaving Friday Prayers with ringing in your ears from speakers that are turned up louder than a concert, this mosque may also not be for you.

some volunteers or self claimed volunteers pretend to be owners of this mosque. They nag worshipers over everything and are unapproachable. One guy who is a volunteer, make mistakes in Azan and sometimes he leads the prayer as an Imam, what a joke. Plus he has a very bad attitude. Not happy with the hypocrite management of the masjid as Sunnah. That's why I decided to stop praying here.

I have seen so many times peoples in this mosque are not giving respect to Our holy Quran and they are sleeping in the mosque and keeping their legs toward holy Quran and Qibla Astaghfirullah . It’s no just a book it’s a Kalam of Allah.

Proper way to perform daily prayers. Most of the times they use Arabic at jumma prayer. It would have been better if they translate their lecture in English, so that rest of the 80% non arab audiences will understand.

It's a very good place for worshippers and salah often lead by very good reciters. Its a best place to offer salah for people living around haldon street.

A great masjid with awesome imams. Clean carpet inside, good air conditioning, and clear sound system. The wudhu place and toilets are always clean.
