Gotta say I'm pretty impressed with everything about Blue Wave, this location at least. My car was filthy so I decided to give it a shot and am glad I did. I opted for the single time car wash (you can subscribe for a monthly membership) and was so impressed that I'm considering joining. I know nothing will equal the level of clean you can only get from a hand wash but for an automated set up they come pretty close. The staff were super friendly as the young guy that was at the payment kiosk happily walked me through the payment process when I told him this was my first time and wasn't sure how it worked. Kudos to this location! Was pretty busy, but goes really quickly. I was out of there start to finish in about 15 minutes. Beats Swiftwater in every way.

Nothing against the actual service however the Traffic at this location is a factor in the safety of the service. Today I went in and during the end of the service everyone had to hit the brakes while in the wash conveyor line due to traffic on military dr. No one could get out of the parking lot so that affected the wash line that was in progress making the last 3 cars including ours a brand new car that is a week off the car lot almost rear ending each other. We all hit the brakes and the rollers continued popping under our tires as the service person finally realized what was happening, he hit the stop button. The line finally started again after 2 minutes.

After being told "take your hitch off or you can go elsewhere" we took the hitch off went through the wash as to not inconvenience the drivers behind us. Went through and didnt have the greatest wash. We mentioned it to the employees and were told that we needed to get the more expensive wash In order to get all the dirt off because our truck was "too dirty". Oh and we came in as a convient quick wash and spent over 30 min in there because of all of it. Wash quality was sub par and the customer service was even worse. Find another wash area people.

Doesn't clean the front bumper very well. There's clear lines where the brushes missed and I have a normal everyday sedan. The side brushes also barely touched my side windows. I paid for the top package, definitely not worth it. See pic Edit After Response: Yes, definitely your car wash. I'm new and only know of 2. Yours is the one that takes 10 mins to leave if someone tries to take a left. I'll head down in a bit and run it through again. This time I'll pay attention and learn the proper car wash terminology. Sorry I called them brushes.

horrible, horrible place. the only pro are the free vacuums. the first time i took my car it bent both license plates, scratched the sides of the car & had scratches all around it with paint chipping as well (my car did not have those before.) i tried it again simply because i really wanted to like it but never again. it doesn’t clean the car completely, blue liquid residue on the car, misses A LOT of spots & definitely is too rough, very little cleaning, TOO many dents & scratches. never again. would definitely rate lower if i could.

Upcharged me without telling me went from 19.95 to 24.95 then when I tried thru it said my account needed to be restarted even though they already charged me I had to pay for their 9 dollar wash just so I didn’t have to have everyone in back have to move to let me out I understand your price increase but I never authorized it I was Authorizing 19 dollars and change not 24.00 and went in to get a wash even after you took the renewal it would not let me through since yall changed to licensed plate readers

The wash and vacuum service is awesome, the guy checking the vehicles though sucked. I had a handful of leafs in the bed of my truck, he swept them out for me but afterwards gave me a snotty remark that next I won’t be serviced if my truck was not swept. The machine also didn’t print my receipt and when I asked if he could reprint it for me he exclaimed there’s no way to reprint and I’ll have to deal with it. Been here plenty of times, great service usually but this time truly sucked.

Good inexpensive drive thru carwash pay monthly or each time and get free vacuums. Very Friendly staff aswell. Update*** It gets so packed the line goes out to military dr and takes about 23 minutes just to get a wash. Trying to get out isn't any easier. This place needs a different driveway or traffic control. Also the prices were raised. Machine isn't working employees must put in your sticker number by hand takes forever Update I canceled and changed carwash companies.

I used to be a loyal monthly customer despite having dealt with a few issues from getting random double billed, failure equipment, long lines, low quality washes. Today was my last straw, today’s experience was disappointing including the assistant managers lack of care and attitude. I finally had enough from this car wash and canceled my account I’ll take my business elsewhere where the service is prompt, equipment works, and I’m not always double charged.

This location damages your vehicles. I do not recommend it. It damaged my vehicle that is brand new but they claim it was previously damaged. They will do anything and everything to get out of the responsibility of fixing their mistake. I had to get an attorney, plus their employees stated that a lot of vehicles get damaged at that location but that the owner tells them to delete the videos of when the incident occurs so there won’t be proof.

I'm visiting from Houston and stopped by to get a $20 wash. My SUV was covered in mud from interstate construction. When I got through driving through the wash, the young man Manuel, (who said he goes by Manny) that worked at Blue Wave came with a towel and gave me one to help wipe my SUV down. I wanted to tip him, but he said no, that he was just doing his job. To the owners of Blue Wave, you're very blessed to have an employee like Manny.

Had a minor accident at this car wash this weekend. Not only was the manager, Manuel very kind and professional, he made the entire reporting process painless. The rest of the staff that was on duty this Sunday morning 2/16/2020 was very polite, professional and overall very nice people. Although, my experience wasn’t what I expected because of an unexpected accident, I will still go back because of the people that work here!

Came here to wash my car and loved their service. There was no wait at all. I got their basic package and was very surprised that it cleaned my car excellent. There was plenty of parking with their own individual vacuums. Big plus. Cleaning area was spacious to move around and their vacuums work great. Enjoyed that I was able to clean my car with out any interruptions of loud music or rude people. Will be coming back.

It would be advantageous if the workers would be on point by asking inconsiderate patrons to pull forward to accommodate the flow of the line to move at a steady pace , instead of leaving such big gaps in line to allow traffic in street to be blocking the roadway into the business. Guys in wash area need to pre spray vehicle alot more generosly. Restrooms are always clean and good smelling. Good service otherwise....

For some reason this place doesn't allow vehicles with hitches even though every other drive through car wash has no problem such as Wash Tub or The Bubble Bath. Having to unlock the hitch every time is an inconvenience and there were about 3 trucks with the same issue which had to get out of line for the same reason. Update your equipment, this is South Texas where alot of people have hitches on their vehicles.

I do pest control and ive been to car washes all over the city and i gotta say BlueWaves are by far the best bang for your buck usually i have to get out of my van after a wash to get the little spaces the wash doesnt get but every time i get out to check after bluewaves $6 wash im always shocked at how clean it is! Even the tiny spaces in between the logo that i have a hard time cleaning by hand were cleaned!

Dear Blewave, your buisness model has proven to be effective, you have established an enormous customer base both in SA and EP. Your location in SA is so good people are willing to creat a traffic jam next to the rail tracks off military and zarzamora. Please get you head out of what ever orifices you have it in and build more locations. Until then, I am canceling my 2 vehicle memberships with you.

So far so good. This place always has a line. But it goes pretty quick. I'm noticing more and more people are buying the unlimited package that is drafted from your bank account or credit card. I seldom see people putting money or using a card at the terminal. And if it doesn't do a good job the first time just get in line again if you have the unlimited. This is usually not necessary though.

Says it’s open till 8 on google but when I went today around 5:30 they had blue cones lining the entrance.I saw workers and a few cars so I don’t know what’s going on. The entrance is right after a concrete median and you have to get through military traffic so it’s inconvenient to begin with. I will not be trying this car wash again just to be disappointed with a cones blocking it off.

This place is packed, that is the only issue here. Everything else is fantastic! The washes are priced to serve anyone's needs or price point. The free vacuums are so powerful and a haven for those that don't want to spend 5 dollars racing a timer at a regular carwash. This is officially my go to carwash when I'm in the Southside. Would recommend to everyone!

This new upgrade is pretty frustrating. I only stayed because they offered military discount so I ended up paying the same, Monthly but all these random closings is pretty annoying. Came yesterday, around 2 and it was closed. Just rushed over before 8 and worker said “they were shut down but hopefully will be back open tomorrow” they need to get it together.

Usually a long line to get into this place. Sometimes the line stops moving, not sure why. The car wash itself is okay, but by no means the best I have experienced. Bugs don't get cleaned off the front or hood. Sides and wheels come out clean and shiny. I don't use the free vacuums but they are popular. I have only used this one location so far.

I brought my SUV through the wash yesterday and was dismayed to discover that the driver's side wiper blade was damaged and had to be replaced and the rear window wiper arm mount cover was damaged. I can't afford to shell out $50 to replace wiper blades each time they get damaged, so the automatic car washes are no longer an option for me.

Very small tunnel with minimal cleaning and drying effectiveness. Upper level washes put soaps on car but do not take them off- Blue wave skips a lot of the traditional processes that are proven to work- this is consistent with their California operations and wash quality is not a staple of this organization- simplicity in design is.

Went twice ended up with scratches both times. Saw others with same experience. I tried for myself but won't recommend to anyone. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MONTHLY PLANS charged erroneously, been told 3x by a reonut wouldn't happen anymore and every month it is still happening 4 months later. I remain working to resolve this issue :'(

I specifically told the man full extract on my vehicle and he didn’t listen and I repeated to him telling him again full extract I don’t want the brushes up against my car but while going thru the wash everything is touching my car I guess he don’t understand what that means… horrible never coming back here!!!

I have a membership and have been there twice in the past month just to find they’ve closed off the entrance with cones. 1-3 days okay understandable but a few weeks!!! Yet they still auto collected total monthly fee from my account. I’m trying again tomorrow and If there hasn’t been a change. That’s it!!

Well it was descent and a fairly good wash for the price. Plenty of suds and lots of scrubbing. There is a business opening behind and has a driveway to it straight from the same entrance as BlueWave while it's under construction. If that business is to share the same entrance there will be issues.

I love this place, and I've been a member for 2 years or so and I love the way my car washes but the wait times are crazy so I don't really get a chance to drop in, especially since I live in poteet. I wish they had a different location because the line can get so long and the entrance is horrible!

Find another car wash. They will not help you when they damage your car. Car wash Ruined my hood and roof of my car. Asked them to fix it and they told me they are not responsible for damages. The microfiber scrubbers must of had metal in them to mess them up this bad. This is on my 2015 gmc Yukon

The lady who is there to meet us at the kiosk is so sweet. It's always a pleasure to see her and the reason I continue to come back to BlueWave Express. My car always comes out looking nice and the vaccum stations are pretty good too. I'm a satisfied customer and recommend this location!

1st and last time here. Paid 9$ for a wash and was not impressed. I will just stay with GO or Pirate's Cove or swift water. The cowl of my Jeep was dirty and I had blue soap residue on my doors. Also the fenders had dirty spots still. I've never had this issue at other car washes.

Terrible service , the people just stand around doing nothing much . @ the Bubble one they have people brushing the vehicle prior to entering the wash. This wash also doesn’t do a very good job to begin with . The vacuums are cool , but that’s about it . Not worth it

Would have been nicer if there were hot so many rules and staff is not very friendly. Not to mention the wash does not even last a minute, not to mention there is still stuff left on your car. But I mean for what you pay which is not much I think it's worth it.

I enjoy washing my car here.. My car gets super clean. And I love the powerful vacuums...Also Lisa is a great attendant... I also want to give thanks to Manuel Esparza as a great manager at this car wash......he was quick, courteous, always willing to help..

I pay 30 dollars a month. I think that sometimes the wash is running better on different days. My car is cleaned different each time. They should be vigilant to the amount of people who don't pay for a wash taking up the vacuums for the people that do.

My car was extremely dirty and the $12 wash was so worth it. My car looks good after. Don’t forget about the free vacuums! Friendly staff and clean area. I’m not going anywhere else anymore. They also have memberships for unlimited tiered washes.

What a rip off! I paid $25 for garbage service. They squirted the driver's side door with something, I don't know, and that's it. I blinked and the car wash was done. It didn't even clean my truck properly. A gas station car wash is better.

The process to wash my is efficient, and the people friendly. My reason for two stars is as I was exiting the car wash there were nails and one of the tires went flat. The employees need to monitor the exit drive way to be free of debris.

My boyfriend and I wash our vehicles here everyday. The line goes pretty quickly and the customer service is excellent. Gets both our vehicles nice and clean every time. Highly recommend you get the membership. It's worth it!

If I could rate this place with zero stars, I would. They are so slow and the lines here are ridiculous and the staff does absolutelynothingto speed the process.. My pictures aren't even necessary. I have nothing else to say.

My new car got few dents of hood damage. Some areas don’t get cleaned. The lower part of the car and and the high part rear window under that light . And a couple of scratches. It’s ok for some but the hood damage is costly.

The drive thru wash does not clean the vehicles well enough. Just as I was considering the monthly Endless Wave, I’ll have to reconsider with the way the wash lacked to remove light stains from my car in the FRONT.

I take my brand new Cadillac each time it needs to get beautified. I take it every time it rains and needs some tender loving care. Always styling my ride when I go through the BlueWave Express Car Wash. Great Job!

I’ve gone 4 times. Twice last week and again twice this week! They should give us a discount for not only paying my monthly fee but also for the 4 times I’ve driven to that location. Not a Happy customer!

Not too shabby although half or rather about 1/3 of the vacuuming stations were not available. Do wish they prioritized those who had a wash first, being that ANYONE off the street can use the facilities.

Paid for cheapest wash to test it out. Left a soapy and oily residue on car. I needed to use my wipers and spray to clean it clear. Disappointed in this place since it’s brand new and already has issues.

This place is great for the price. Only thing they could work on is getting the washing system working properly. A lot of folks pay good money monthly only for the washing equipment to be working 75%.

Love that with the monthly subscription; I can take my vehicle as many times as I want. Happy that there's no additional cost on top of the monthly fee. Also, area where you can vacuum your vehicle.

For $12 you get a pretty good car wash.... removed about 95% of all the mud and dirt build up from the bad weather with just one pass. Hadn't been able to clean truck... back on the grind at work!!

Car wash on military dr San Antonio Texas has been broken down twice this month. So my question is will customers that have a membership be given credit since service are not being rendered.

Paid 12. Dollars for a half car wash. The front grill and hood remained dirty while the wheels came out clean and shiny. Had to wash the front myself at home. I will be going somewhere else.

Never been here but it’s ridiculous how their line of cars block traffic for almost half a mile! This place alone creates huge traffic jams and blocks the entrance to other businesses.

I went to vacuum my vehicle there also liked the way they have vacuum hose on both sides. It gets very busy for the car wash you have to be very careful when leaving area to small.

Best touchless car wash i have used. The price is a little high, but you do get a quality wash. Long lines move at a descent rate, so you're not waiting too long to go through.

Clean and quick. Vac have good power. The location and layout need to be improved. Many near misses driving into and out of the location. The location is not ideal.

Most aggressive car wash I've been through! But if you don't mind your car to take a beating, it definitely gets the job done. (Car was not harmed in the process)

Card reader wasn't working for me, but still managed to be in and out in no time. Keeps the car clean asap. Seems like they are always packed but it flies

If you care about your vehicle stay as far away from this place as possible, my car still came out dirty and with some brand new scratches on my rims

I don't understand why I have to run my card every month for my car washes when it use to auto draft from my bank but now doesn't do that anymore.

Car wash goes quickly. I have unlimited washes, and never have been disappointed. I just wish there was more space for entrance and exit.

Car and truck always come out spotless. The guys are always able to help you out if you got to take something out the back of your truck.
