2 years of being a regular. I realized I forgot my card at home at 2nd intermission during an Oilers game, back In May, I said I'd be back before the end of 3rd period. My uber got into an accident and I ended up in the hospital for 5 days. Apparently I called BP to say I couldn't pay my beer tab because I'm in the hospital, but I'll pay when I'm out. (I don't remember calling. But that is my instinct.) I came back and paid the tab and the manager AND bartender said their biggest priority is if I'm ok. They are awesome. Yesterday (August 1st. 4 months later), I had to take an uber home and come back in the same trip because of an emergency. 10 minutes total, 4 hours before they close. Bar manager, who was bartending, told my friend that I need to let her know if I'm gone for more than 5 min, because last time, "I took a cab home and fell asleep and didn't pay my tab" Which is completely untrue. Every other person working and every other manager could vouche I would never do that. But she slandered me by telling every customer at the bar that "I left and fell asleep without paying my tab" Sorry if getting into a car accident, in an uber, constituents as "dine and dash" Also, on 2 other occasions, when I asked for my tab, I realized I was UNDER CHARGED, so I asked to include my full total to pay my tab. Ironically TONIGHT, the bar manager that told my friend that I have a history of not paying my tab, she under charged me and I had to tell her to add the extra drink on my tab before I pay. THE SAME NIGHT SHE FALSELY TOLD MY FRIEND I HAVE A HISTORY OF LEAVING AND FALLING ASLEEP AND NOT PAYING MY TAB -----‐-------------------------------- UPDATE: FRIDAY AUGUST 5 2023 3 days after posting this review. I've been banned. Not because what I said was untrue, but because I posted a negative review. I had gotten along with every other staff member for 2 years. And the BM slanders me, now I'm just flat out banned. The 2 managers who made this decision, wouldn't even talk to me, they just informed everyone I am banned. Very unprofessional.

Making me wait 20 mins to get paid for my vlt win and i had a cab waiting which it left because i was stuck waiting so long and when i tried to call one back the told me my number was blocked because of calling a cab and not taking the ride which im very upset about , and after i gave a 20 dollar tip the first time i cashed in , iv never been so upset on being treated like i didnt matter , it seemed if you drank those customer's came first 20 mins and to get yelled at by the manager because i got upset that i had to wait so long and my cab taking off on me cuz i was taking so long and now i cant call a cab from my number is so stupid thanks boston pizza kingsway you used to be my favorite now your literally the worst boston pizza your bartenders need to work a little harder and faster when its busy , iv never seen a lazier bunch of people in my life ,if i could give a zero star i would

We were sat by a lovely waitress, very quick to help us with our orders and was incredibly nice. It seems silly, but we like ordering bugs and cheese every time we go. Last time we went, there were no problems and everything was fine. This time, we ordered when there were barely any other people in the restaurant. We ended up waiting 30-40 minutes for our orders, and got our food cold and disgustingly watery. Later it was obvious that the manager/person in charge at the time was angry at us for no real reason. We were respectful in the establishment the entire time. She took our plates without even asking if we were finished, and quite literally snatched two of our dishes away. We wanted to talk to her but she avoided our table like the plague and ran away after she took our plates. Genuinely confused on why we were treated like this. I included a photo of one of our plates, but ALL of them were grossly wet like that.

I went to this Boston pizza with my family to have a good dinner time but as long as we sat at the seat, a lady came to us with an angry face and witout saying any greeting she just asked us what to order and the order was too late for us, it tooks almost an hour and while we were waiting for the food, our kids were crying because they got hungry. while our kids were crying even the manager showed us an ungry face. And the lady who was serving us at that time was waching us through the window while our kids were crying because of the hunger and late of food. Finally, I asked the lady if the food is already ready but she said that it will be late 10 to 15 minutes again. Finally, we really regrated going to that place and we will never go back again for ever.

Gone are the days of a nice hearty amount. Ordering delivery has its down fall. The lasagna was really good but a fraction of the size I would receive if I were dining inside the restaurant. I laughed when i saw the wee piece of garlic bread! My son ordered wings and fries; 8 wings and an adult-hand size of french fries for ($18?) The only thing with no change was the small pizza.

From missing food, to delivery delays, now to firing someone going away for bereavement? I never thought Boston Pizza would ever do something this bizarre. I find it hilarious that this franchise at this location is still in business demonstrating the worst service possibly in the city. If I owned this franchise personally, I’d be firing both management and the one who fired the person going away to a funeral. Change the slogan to “We’ll make you look bad for no reason.”

We ate our take-out in house as we were on a road trip and back to Edmonton. The staff felt annoyed even though it was almost 10pm. They took forever to being our drinks, and the salad (take-out) my gf had was brown and wilty. Because the waiter felt annoyed we didn't feel like complaining about the salad, but definitely wasn't a great experience. We're sorry for doing that

Checked this place after a long day at work. I enjoyed my food, Jambalaya Fettuccine, very much. Service is definitely excellent here. I sat in the lounge and was well treated and served by Hope. She took the time to make sure I was satisfied with my food, drinks and service. Good place to go any time of the day.

Took the family in on Friday our waitress was alone and swamped. Somehow she managed to get everything together and on time whilst helping others as well. We were amazed, she made our experience awesome. We will be back, thanks again Kristy.

Really slow service, I wasn't even acknowledged standing at the bar for over ten minutes when it was quiet and slow for the staff, was finally rudely asked by an employee what I wanted, I obviously wasn't feeling great about the exchange we were having so I replied:'nothing, I just wanted to see how long it would take you to serve me or greet me with at least a hello'... Not a great impression, maybe they were just having an "off day" lol

Very disappointed on how you treat your employees and people. Never will my shadow, shadow your door ever again. After treating my niece the way you did from her going to her grandfather’s funeral and you let her go then fire her after on New Year’s Eve cause she missed. I leave happy every time I leave this restaurant. I loved their food. The staff is very friendly. The bathrooms are always clean. Their food containers have high quality and are reusable and dishwasher safe. The service was a bit slow tonight, and the sanitizer is very, very slimy. I couldn't just wash it away with water, and there was no paper towel to clean it up.

Boston Pizza Kingsway mall location. Very disappointed in this location. We had a family death and my daughter was a waitress here and needed time off to go to the funeral as it was her grandfather. When she went into her shift new years eve they let her go. I am truly very disappointed in Boston pizza and there level of compassion and respect to there employees. I will never support Boston pizza going forward...

This is the best place to come watch a leafs game! Alyssa was very tentative, funny, friendly and very professional. She sure shows that she loves her job. Our sons boneless wings were very good. My husbands spaghetti was so good he said. Loved the portion size. My caesar salad was very good. Usually when I go to other BP locations, it is dry. This location made it perfectly. We will definitely be back.

Very disappointed after hearing a recent experience from a former employee. She was let go after a death in the family. She was very reliable and always was a team member. She left a previous employment of 2 years for this company and this is how they treat her. I hope everyone avoids this place and supports a business that supports their employees.

Always our go to Boston Pizza location. Best place to cheer for the Maple Leafs. Lots of TV's everywhere. The service is always exceptional and the food is delish! Shayna and Alyssa are amazing at what they do. Always chat with yah and make sure you are taken care of. The other servers are also good. Definitely the best Boston Pizza location in Edmonton!

Honestly, for just a super basic Boston Pizza, the food was incredible and so was the service. We dined in the early afternoon before the Heritage classic and returned late evening afterwards. Everything was excellent.

My waiter, Kyler, was absolutely amazing, as well as all the other staff that I interacted with. In fact, I even told the manager how great he was. Extremely helpful. And the food was awesome, and delivered promptly compared to other BP’s that I’ve been to. Great job guys!
