It has to be one of the most pleasant government facilities I have been to in Cape Town. The staff is always friendly and willing to assist. The place is always clean with different art pieces that always have a certain theme. My child enjoys every minute of being at the library and is currently being assisted by one of the librarians with one of the langauges he does at school. A big thank you to Gadija for being an extention of our village - they say it takes a village to raise a child❤. The warm welcome one feels as they enter their premises is beyond words - you are always greeted with a smile and assisted immediately with whatever you need assistance with. The reminders are always sent timeously when a book is almost due. Thank you Bothasig public librabry champions - we truly appreciate you as the communit✨️

This is a great library. A good children's and youth section, which our boys have enjoyed. The DVD collection is.also very large, and worth investigating, if you still have a steam powered DVD player at home in this digital age! The staff are helpful with finding books. The only problem is they close so early on a Friday.

Super friendly staff, wide array of books/authors on offer, and a refusal to be crushed by the oppressive onward march of modernity. I read Machiavelli's The Prince from this library when I was 15. Highlights how staff value the nurturing of young minds over all else. 10/10 would recommend.

I was accused of an outstanding book which is not the case. Now with covid the return of books are different. I rest my case. Used to be a pleasant experience going there but some staff not so friendly
