Walked around Semaphore looking for a coffee shop. Stumbled upon this place. They had nice looking bread and pastries so we stayed. Ordered chocolate almond croissant and passionfruit pastry which were sooo delicious! Will definitely be back to try more with coffee. Staff were very friendly! More
I had an excellent sultana scroll. Place was being smashed with people on hood Friday and the staff did well to keep up. Only took a point off as my cup of tea was made not so well. But who really expects good tea from a French place? I know lots of people around me loved their coffee.
What a lovely little cafe & bakery. We bought some sour dough bread. Later in the day, we came back & had cake & cappucino. The cake & cappucino were really good, I loved that the cake wasn't overly sweet like most cakes. We haven't been to
Fave for Saturday morning croissants. Quality was variable in the early days, however they're consistently great now despite being a little expensive. Sour dough baguettes are awesome, great accompaniment to a charcuterie board or mussels
A very welcome addition to Semaphore Road. The range of pastries is great and the sourdough bread is now a weekly treat for me - lots of great flavoured breads like cheese, onion and dill … a cheeky side note is they have even more bread
Beautiful french bakery. The most delicious selection of authentic sour dough breads (10/10 for the 100% SD cob loaf), pastries and exquisitely crafted patisserie sweets. Also a selection of hot pies and mouth watering savoury items all
I visited the store about a week ago now and still can’t fathom the experience. I purchased an orange and almond cake and it had tasted like it’s been frozen and left to thaw. The pies had barely any meat In them.
It's so sad. The staff our so amazing, kind, bubbly and just everything great. But the owner makes my stomach turn, how he speaks to them is disgusting and honestly all his staff should just walk.
Coffee was better than I thought it would be, as was the food, chocolate donut was not too sweet and the icing was delicious, pie pastry was one of the best I have ever had
Felt sorry for the owner as he was at that end of an extremely busy day. Despite that, he was friendly and obliging. The shop made pasties were excellent. More
Looking for coffee at Semaphore? Try Boulangerie 113 on the north side of the main shopping strip. The pineapple sponge was fresh, light and delicious.
I have lived in the area for 15 years and sadly after three attempts of going to this bakery confirms to me as to why I do not frequent it at all.
1st visit definitely not last - blueberry danish, amazing, friendly staff - great range of breads, pies, pasties, pastries, cakes and coffee
I frequent here for their delicious almond croissants and their veg and chicken pie. They have lovely staff that make you feel at home.
The coffee was not the best. The selection of cakes were not impressive. The decor needs updating. The 1 star is for friendly staff.
Wonderfully polite and friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Best Shepherd’s Pie I’ve had since childhood. Highly recommend.
Lovely service. An excellent piccolo coffee, Better croissant than I had at the Adelaide Markets!

Absolutely love their sourdough. Delighted I no longer have to drive to Goodwood to get it.
Delicious Danishes baked on-site. Great coffee and service. Will definitely be returning.
Lovely service. Enjoyed a spinach & cheese danish and croissant, both delicious
Proper French bakery. The plain croissant and almond croissant were amazing.
