I have been hiring cars from the Dandenong budget for a very long time and it's been fantastic customer service. The cars are excellent to drive, price to hire is cheap & staff is very good service. Jim & Deanne are the ones that I usually deal with. They always remember who you are like we've been mates for ages. Jim is a funny person & Leanne is calm but both professional nice people. I just met Chris & he seems like a nice person too. I have never had an issue & if there was it's usually my fault because I'm a over dramatic person. My kids & grandkids tell me that all the time. Terrible experience - when hiring a vehicle I was asked to provide my card details and told that nothing would be charged until the end of the hire period. Then I was charged the full hire cost the day I collected the car. I then went on to return the car early, and was advised that the difference in the amount I had already been charged and the new lower amount (due to less hire time) would be refunded to my card. Instead they charged me the full amount again, and told me to wait 10 days for my refund of the first amount. Terrible customer service, none of the people I spoke to could tell me why I had been charged twice - would never hire from them again.

Avoid this place if you can, very busy and most of the time they are full, we went a day before and enquired to book a car via Budget for the next day which the lady served us took our details and said car will be ready the next day. We went next day waited in the queue for about 20mins and when our turn cam she processed the booking through Avis which is double the price we said no we didnt ask for Avis we asked for budget but she just tried to put us through Avis as they run out of car on budget we had no option but to accept it. Having two companies side by side served by same people very confusing not happy at all.

One of the worst service I have ever got just now as they send the confirmation of vehicle by email and when we go to pick up they says they don’t have any car and instead appologise they talking so rude and one of the guy Dylan and one other guy were so rude as I won’t use this type of service ever again. I would suggest budget cars that they should hire some educated people who have sense to deal with customers when they have to appologise.

Good place to get a truck to suit your needs at short notice. Easy to locate and get access to from the Monash Freeway and Princes Highway Dandenong. Trucks are reasonably priced and the staff easy to deal with. They will not let you park your car there while you rent the truck so bring someone else to drive your vehicle home. Have been established here for the last ten years I can remember.

Booked a moving vehicle in person at the office. I wanted to pay and secure the booking immediately, however i was told payment needs to be done at pick-up. I was late to pick up vehicle and was told that it was already hired out. My details were retained but i was not even given a courtesy call to check if i wanted the vehicle. Very disappointed and had to delay moving house.

Very nice staff. I walked in off the street after i got let down by another company and they helped me out and i got a car straight away no messing about. Explained the prices and everything to do with the car. On the day you drop back the car you just have to be there before 4pm. Love the flexibility with the drop back time. I recommend budget if you are renting in the area.

Worst experience, book a Toyota hiace and my wife went to pickup. They have given an LDV van which is much small and short where I had to borrow another friends hiace to move a big table. As per Budget they are similar, how on earth a Toyota Hiace and the cheapest in the market LDV van could be similar. They are money suckers. Don’t ever hire from Budget.

Thanks you the informative staff member here, I discovered that all Budget locations are an independent franchise & that their prices differ depending on where you go. This only came to light after seeing many vans on site & asking about the rental rates, I was advised they were only there for servicing & that I would need to enquire at another branch.

Super Friendly and Excellent Customer Service !!! Had to source a 8t Taut Truck in a hurry (under 24hrs) when i was let down by another firm, They found one had it in the yard ready to go and matched the rate ! Cant ask for better then that, The guy there (Luke I think his name was) should get a pat on the back for a really really good experience

Incredibly disappointed by staff, utterly lacking in disclosure of how their charges would be processed despite my calling ahead to verify. When contacted this morning staff member refused to take responsibility for misinformation and tried to blame bank, rather than accept they had provided me with half the information.

Customer service was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful guys, making sure to not overcharge me by things I didn't need. Also wavered the excess for a scratch due to the van we had being old. Couldn't be happier and will absolutely use their service next time we're moving.

Hired a truck for 2 days people at budget Dandenong were good but the truck itself had a big problem. I was wondering why l was getting beeped all the time, it wasn't until l was taking it back someone pulled up beside me no brake lights.

Rude staff with no respect. Sunday two weeks ago I rented van from them they put two kids with rude behavior giving service to customers. Not recommend at all. There is lots of another company with better price and good customer.service.

I rented a truck in January and found the staff at Budget Trucks Dandenong excellent to deal with. Very friendly and professional. I can highly recommend them. They even gave me a discount for bringing the truck back early.

They we closed for a COVID deep clean, and no one contacted me to let me know to make alternative arrangements for my vehicle drop off. During my time spent on the phone several other customers arrived with the same issue.

Very helpful when I really needed it. The pickup took less than 10 minutes from walkup to keys and the dropoff was easy too and I didn't have to wait more than a minute to get on with the rest of the day.

Didn't get the vehicle I booked on time. Had to wait till the previous customer returned it. whole trip was delayed. Also one of my friends booked a suv but he got a camry.so the service is not reliable.
