So I bought a car from this place about 2 months ago. A 2014 Kia Sorento. When I went to drive it it was amazing, and I needed something better. My sales guy, Zach, was great. Very nice and easy to talk to. I liked him a lot. Even the finance manager was amazing. I got a great deal on my car. The trade in for my car was way less than it was worth, by about $1000 but I got a newer better car with lower payments. The reason why I am writing this review and giving them 3 stars is because certain things in the car have come up as an issue. Fist of all I had issues with my back up camera before I even left the lot. I was told it was because I put it in reverse too fast. But now it was stopped working all together. That's ok... I know it happens. I can live without the backup camer, even though that's one of the things I loved about my car. But the thing that really pisses me off is that yesterday I noticed my car was overheating while my car was at ideal. So I checked it today and guess what?! There is absolutely no coolant in the tank. Like I am talking bone dry. I am not a car guru but I don't feel as though this should happen. I could give them the benefit of the doubt but there have been absolutely no leaks. I thought buying a used car from their lot was the way to go. Yeah there are some cosmetic flaws, but I expected all of the fluid levels to be topped off. Customer service was great, but car maintenance not so much.

Will not be using Budget again. Because of my work I have moved a few times in the past couple of years. I used Uhaul and this was the first and last time I will use Budget. The truck was picked up on Old Hwy 67, Biloxi MS and the truck was dirty inside the cab and bed of the truck. We told the rep that the truck is very dirty and had spider webs and everything in it and they were not very attentive about that so we had them make a note that we are dropping the truck off in the condition we received it. We were informed online and at the Budget in Biloxi MS that there is a after hour drop off where we had to drop the truck off in St. Augustine FL. We dropped the truck off in St. Augustine FL. at 8 PM and there is no drop off with a sign no after hours and if we left the key in the drop box there would be a fee charge. So we parked the truck and took the key. Called the next morning and were basically given a response that it was all our fault because where we parked and no remorse of yes we are sorry but we don't have a night drop off. Won't use Budget again. This first impression has confirmed some of the reviews I have read.

I received possibly the worst customer service imaginable. Owner Patrick Deacon of location 10246 Atlantic Blvd, was disrespectful and rude when I had asked him why the store was abandoned for over an hour on a Tuesday morning. Customers walked in and out of this establishment within that hour without service. I had a reservation for a truck pick-up at 8:30am, Patrick arrived at 9:30am. There where no apologies given and no compensation offered. I questioned his buisness morale and Patrick Deacon lost it! He slammed my credit card down and said and I quote "stop talking!". I wasnt asking complicated questions, I simply wanted an explanation in regards to the delay of service. I have never experienced customer service so bad to the point that prompted me to complain on a public forum . Truly a mind blowing experience! My recommendation would be to spend alittle more money in order to receive quality service.

I went to pick up my rental car on 3/10/22. It took them "3" tries before they found a car that didn't have a warning light on! While on my trip the car shook when I reached 65 MPH. When I got home on the 13th, I had a flat tire. My brother changed it and he was furious when he saw the tire. The tread was completely worn down the middle! I took the car back the 14th and showed them and made a complaint. The manager assured me that I would be getting a refund because of all of that, and that I had his "WORD".I called 2 weeks later , and again he said I had his "WORD"! Well today is 5/2/22 and I have received NO REFUND. Don't take their word on ANYTHING! This location obviously doesn't service their cars and they are sending their customers out in death traps! This was my 1st and LAST time using Budget. If you care about your safety and that of your loved ones, DON'T RENT FROM HERE!

I needed to rent a car last Saturday and I received poor service. The lady who was at the counter was talking on her cell phone and assisting me at the same time, she said she couldn't rent me the car because my DL wasn't recognizing it on her machine and she simply ignored me, that is, I don't speak English very well and I had already rented a car with them two weeks ago and I didn't have any problems, I felt a little racist on their part for being an immigrant with little English, at no point did she explain to me what I could do, she simply gave me a paper to call and request cancellation. I am disappointed with this place and am seeking help. I missed my appointment - this caused me a huge inconvenience!

I reserved and paid for the vehicle in advance. I came in unexpectedly one day during their normal business hours to see the style of the vehicle and to check out the cargo space of the Grande Dodge Caravan, which was the vehicle I was interested in. The condition and space in the vehicle was absolutely perfect for the items that were being taken on the trip. The staff and Manager were very courteous, professional and thorough in explaining how to operate the vehicle. They made the entire rental process fun and enjoyable!!! They made the check in and check out process painless. I would recommend this Budget car rental company to friends and family and I am considering using them for future vacations!!

First I was given a car where none of the cigarette lighters worked and I was told I would have to go all the way to the airport to get another, manager was very rude about the situation. Was finally given another car at the location where I got the original car from, everything was fine until I showed up to drop the car off where I was told they weren't doing courtesy drop offs after I had been told by the owner Pat that it would not be a problem. I then had to call a taxi wait almost thirty minutes and missed my first class. I will NEVER rent from here ever again!!! Horrible business mindset, save your money and rent somewhere else!!

Nightmare scenario: at JAX just 3 agents at 8-10 work stations with a couple of dozen customers in line. I waited in line 35 minutes to be told “Your reservation is for another location. Because you booked through Orbitz we can’t help you unless you book a new reservation with us. It will be 2x the price and we have no cars because of Daytona 500 so you’d just have to wait until we get a return.” We took a $75 taxi ride to the Atlantic Blvd Budget location where Ray went the extra mile to put things Right. Ray is a Treasure.

Returned my car at Orlando Airport. They "forgot" to check it in and charged me an extra day and late fee. Luckily I was able to catch the charge and get my money back after 2 hours on the phone. 3 days later I get a bill for 18 dollars for tolls the next person went through. Their B.S. scummy toll system just gives me the runaround. Highway toll administration is an LLC that RIPS people off. I'm being charged for tolls I didn't go through because they forgot to check my car in. Basically budget sucks, go anywhere else.

My boyfriend was at the airport trying to rent a car. He ordered a new credit card and didn't have time to bring it with him for his grandmother's funeral, which was sudden and unexpected. He had to fly there from Jacksonville. They would not let me do a CCAR form and release. I hope that this company goes under. My boyfriend was very distraught and I'm very distraught that they would not help him out. His grandmother's funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Cape May, NJ. I hope no one ever uses them.

The entire check-in (pick- up) and check-out (rental return) was absolutely seamless. This staff provided A+ service and I’m extremely appreciative as top tier service is usually hard to find. Both men (I forgot their names but not their faces) went above and beyond to ensure my experience was wonderful. They had no idea that I had to take a trip for bereavement purposes. Thank you to this amazing team and please acknowledge and reward them for their amazing efforts!

BAD EXPERIENCE WITH!! SHADY! I RECEIVED CHARGES FOR ITEMS WE NEVER AGREED TO OR WERE TOLD ABOUT! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUB PAR, surprisingly, EVEN CORPORATE REFUSED TO HELP. I DISPUTED THE CHARGE WITH MY CC COMPANY AS THE BUSINESS IS STRAIGHT ATTEMPTING TO RIP US OFF. UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES! THEY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE SITUATION. NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN, EVEN IF IT MEANS I HAVE TO DRIVE ACROSS TOWN TO GET A TRUCK!

Its nice that its cheap, but its only cheap because they try to screw you by making you pay for their insurance. We tried to rent a moving van for 230$ but they tried to add on an extra 270$ for their insurance. Luckily you can decline, but it would be nice if they said that on their website just in case someone's personal insurance doesnt cover rentals. Just be careful if you rent from here, check your insurance first.

I had to rent do to my husband health. We live in florida and we had to come to Madison Wisconsin to see if he qualifies for a lung transplant. They had us stay. It cost me additional to leave it in Madison. They did give me a 150.00 discount which I appreciate. We are on a tight budget and that so the $900.12 turned into $1437.62. Doing the math that's another $537.50. Which is alot to take under the circumstance.

I’ve had great experience with Budget in general but everything depends on the agent you’re talking to. I would give 0 to the person at Nashville airport who overcharged me and 10+ to Roy Adieh at 10246 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL who provided us with the best service and gave us great deal on extending our current reservation. Amazing service, would totally recommend him to my friends and come back again!

I chose your company bc of price. No where upfront did it say anything about additional driver fees. I couldve of rented from another agency and got a better car for the final cost. I dont understand why I have to pay more just bc me and my partner are not married. We are covered under the same insurance policy. I she gets in a wreck or I the insurance is just the same. Other agency do free extra drivers.

The African American woman at the front desk was very rude. Asked a few simple questions about the return date for a rental car and she became temperamental. After going outside and looking at the car, noticed a few dings on the side and went in to ask about pre-inspection which she never mentioned. Again, very rude. It was almost as if she didn’t have the time or patience to talk to a customer.

I had a 3 day rental, which I returned the vehicle on the 2nd day due to my business had concluded. I turned vehicle in well before the time i checked it out. The agent told me it’s not in their policy to refund for days not used. I also had $30 a insurance coverage. I was charge $14 insurance for that 3rd day when they had the vehicle day 2. This policy needs revamping, totally unacceptable.

Make sure to come see Ray when you rent at this location, great personality, make you feel like family. Got a free upgrade to a nicer chevy cruze, & price was excellent too. Will definitely do business here again. As a military veteran, it’s a great pleasure to see people go beyond the call of duty at their job. I appreciate that Ray, thanks again. No, I didn’t get pay to say this neither.

We were able to book this rental thru Choice Hotels App and was also able to receive a nice discount. Everyone who had a part, at the counter, made it an easy and comfortable check in process and apon returning the vehicle, the process was just as easy. The vehicle had plenty of room our family of 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone at the counter made our trip easy and safe.

I really wish these people would clean the cars. Dog hair was left everywhere and personal hair from someone's comb or brush. But it was ridiculous and I am so tired of it. They really just need to clean the cars. Other than that, that is the only issue that I have and I hope that this changes asap because I shouldn't have to go vacuum a newly rented car.

It was so easy to make a reservation, pick up and drop off. I had the best experience with all of your employees, the car was clean, well taken care of on the inside and outside, and I felt safe in the car as well. I had a very different experience at other places and I will only go with Budget in the future, great service, best prices, nicest cars!

Very unprofessional when we came in the lady was eating and there was 3 people already in line ahead of us. She was on the other side of the building sitting down where you couldn't even see her. Even customer service over the phone is just as bad. Nobody tells you the same information and it causes the customer to have problems purchasing a rental.

Rented a handful of times from this location. Always very nice and helpful. This past weekend they gave me a free upgrade to a Toyota Tacoma. I couldn't have been happier. It completely changed how I spent my vacation. The sub compact I had reserved wouldn't have allowed me beach access like the truck did. I didn't catch your name but thank you.

Very nice staff. In and out fast. If needed staff will show you all the new stuff in the newer cars if you have not seen them before. Had to return the car earlier and since I paid up front no refund. Which is sad since u know the car will be rented again and will not lose money. Funny how when u pay upfront u lose out.

I’ve rented from this location several times and will continue to do so in the future. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In addition, their cars are always impeccably clean. Even though the location is not the most convenient for me, I will always rent cars here because my experience has been superb!

The vehicle was very dirty and not clean at all and the location had nothing else to accommodate my trip. I was on time for my reservation abd couldn't wait and hour or more for vehicle to be cleaned. Poor customer service never renting from Budget again.

Do not use this company. Horrible customer service. Rentals are non-refundable, which they coincidentally leave out of there policies.
