I don’t typically write reviews, but in this case, I hope my review will spare anyone from having a nightmarish move like mine. I have moved with my family several times as a child and young adult, meaning that I’m familiar with how a moving company should operate. This move was by far the WORST I’ve ever experienced. First, the movers showed up almost an hour after the expected 8-9 am window given to me. When I called the company to inquire about where they were, a woman named Crystal told me they had stopped for gas and would be at my apartment shortly. About 5 minutes after my phone call with clueless Crystal, the movers called me stating they accidentally went to another address and would be an additional 20-25 minutes before reaching my apartment. Upon arrival, the movers took their sweet time moving things out of my apartment- using little to no padding to protect furniture, no tools to aid them in transporting things down my narrow staircase, etc.; it was honestly so nerve-racking to watch. Next, after finally getting everything out of the apartment, it was discovered that the moving truck had died. Someone pulled up next to the moving truck in a Mercedes and attempted to jump the moving truck for half an hour. It was overheard during this time period that the movers were cutting a deal on the side to move that person’s belongings with a UHaul or Penske truck for a lesser cost at a later date. How unprofessional. The new apartment complex I moved to is less than 10 minutes from the other, I did not have a ton of furniture, my boxes were packed and ready to go when movers arrived, and my apartment was less than 1,000 square feet, but the move still took over 6 hours. The move actually took the movers so long that they weren’t able to make their second scheduled move, so another crew supposedly had to go to that location. On top of attempting to charge me for the time spent jumping the moving truck, the movers also damaged the footboard of my almost-new bed frame. I had several shattered mugs that had been wrapped and well-protected, indicating that little care was used when handling my boxes. I was charged over $1,000 (almost double what I had originally been quoted) for a move that should’ve taken probably half the time it did. After expressing my dissatisfaction with Crystal afterwards, I never heard back about the issue. I followed up the next day on their voicemail and again, never heard back. The icing on the cake was that when the movers were finally finished and ready to collect payment, they informed me that they were contractors and didn’t even work for Busy Bee. The movers even stated I could’ve hired their services for much cheaper that Busy Bee’s rates. Had I known I would be receiving moving help from random strangers instead of who I thought was a reputable company, I would’ve gone with someone else with more professionalism. I have never seen more inefficiency, disorganization, and incompetence. If you’re looking for moving help, stray far from this hive. You would honestly be better off sliding your belongings down the stairs or throwing them out of your window and hoping for the best. Absolutely ridiculous!

I decided to use a moving company for the first time, and chose Busy Bee Movers because they gave the lowest quote. I had a typical 2 bedroom apartment with a washer/dryer. The initial quote was between $500-550, and our total ended up at $655. The Terms & Conditions/contract were provided to me when the movers arrived to my location. I highly recommend that Busy Bee provide this written information PRIOR to moves, even prior to making a deposit. This is very helpful information that would allow customers to have a better understanding of what base and extra charges may be assessed. Examples of items listed in the terms and conditions include: three-hour minimum on all moves, arrival times are approximate and not guaranteed, items company is not liable for, etc. (See attached photo.) The 3-man team were very polite and friendly. Unfortunately, they arrived 40 minutes after the scheduled 2-hour window. Busy Bee did not reach out to me about a late arrival. I had to call the office and ask. We ended up with multiple scratches on our bed frame, and a couple of scratches on the door of our dryer. Now that I'm able read the terms & conditions thoroughly after the matter (instead of hurriedly looking over a piece of paper for the first time when the movers arrived), I see that our bedframe would not be covered by Busy Bee had I chosen to submit a claim, as the terms & conditions indicate that they are not liable for items made of particleboard (like our bed frame). A 3% "convenience fee" is typically added if paying by credit card. Because of this, we planned to pay with cash. Given the late arrival, however, the bank had closed by the time our total amount due was available (which is not finalized until the very end of the move). The crew told me they do not carry cash, so they would not be able to provide change. Thankfully, the owner agreed to waive the paying-by-card fee. There was a lot of back-and-forth when trying to resolve the 3% fee issue. I spoke with Crystal over the phone multiple times, who then had to call the owner, and then I had to follow-up with Crystal again. She reported that the owner initially refused to waive the fee, but agreed to waive the fee after my second request (i.e., second follow-up call with Crystal during the move). I would recommend that Busy Bee eliminate the "convenience fee" entirely, given that credit cards are commonplace and much safer to use than cash. I appreciated that the movers disassembled and reassembled our tricky bedframe. However, one screw was missing at reassembly, so one small piece of a slat support is not entirely attached. They did not inform me of this prior to leaving. I learned it was missing when the slat support fell down after I opened a pull-out drawer underneath the frame. In summary, my experience with Busy Bee Movers was subpar-to-okay. Not 1-star terrible, but also not 4-5 star amazing. I will likely try a different moving company in the future.

We hired Busy Bee movers for our military move in July 2020. Upon scheduling, they asked if we had any specific items we needed to discuss for our move. My husband stated that this was a military move and that all individuals getting on base would need a valid ID and would need to present this at the base gate. We received a call from the movers on the day they were to arrive that my husband needed to meet them at the base gate to ride on post with them, no problem. He did so, but the driver of the moving truck had a Class D Felony and knew it....which didn’t allow him on a military base. Therefore, he wasn’t allowed on base to assist us with our move. In return, this resulted in the other individual riding in the truck to drive the moving truck (which he did not have a license to do). This resulted in myself, my husband 6 and 9 year old kids to help one gentleman move over 7,000lbs of items off of the moving truck ourselves in the rain until dark. We had just completed half of our drive to the base on the day of the move and were already exhausted, but left with no choice as no one else was sent to assist. The one gentleman who was left to do this move was very apologetic and worked himself to the point of almost getting sick multiple times. This was NOT his fault and he worked tirelessly with us to get our items moved. We stated this was not his fault, but that we would discuss the next day with management. My husband called the Busy Bee Movers office to discuss this matter with them. A lady named Crystal took his call as we tried to reach the owner Matt, which resulted in no return call from him. We were not asking for an entire refund as the loading and moving of the items to the base was successful. But, we felt we should be reimbursed for the time and and effort we spent moving our own 7,000+ lbs of items ourselves. We had to end up working through Crystal to discuss this matter as Matt the owner was never respectful enough to reach out to discuss. They ended up offering us a measly $50 refund for our efforts of unloading our own items. While we feel that this is absolutely not a fair refund, we are also very dissatisfied with the customer service involved. We never approached the mover or the office staff in a negative manner, but just asked for a fair refund for the effort we had put into moving our own items as we paid over $7,000 for the movers to assist. We will not be using Busy Bee Movers for our return move back to Indiana next year and know that if they treat a military family in such a poor manner, they will certainly do that to other customers. For this, we do NOT recommend using Busy Bee Movers to anyone!

5 stars is not enough for what Matt and the Busy Bee movers crew helped me through. I had to plan a full out of state move in less than two weeks. I had quotes from 3 major moving companies prior to calling Busy Bee, and none compared cost effective as Busy Bee. Matt came to my home, completed the walk through, told me that he would meet or beat the other 3 moving companies, I was doubtful, but he emailed the quote in less than 12 hour and I could not believe the cost difference. I called Matt to double check that the price was correct and he explained to me how his company is able to save movers like myself the HUGE amount of money that I saved by choosing Busy Bee. With his honesty and price how could I not choose Busy Bee! There were a few hiccups before the move came and Matt walked me through everything, reassured me, he even went as far as helping me find a rental unit close to the new place out of state that I moved to. What company president and moving company will go out of there way like this for their customers? I have only found one and that is Busy Bee. The day of the move was great! The movers arrived on time, they were very polite and considerate of all our belongings, labeled boxes so we would know what box went to storage and what boxes went to the new home. The level of professionalism is beyond anything I have ever experienced and I can't thank Busy Bee, Matt, Cliff, and Sherry for all their help. Upon arrival to our new home and to storage they were just as professional. They unloaded everything where I needed it and at the storage unit they organized and packed everything in there with precision. I was so pleased with this move and with Busy Bee that although I live in a different state, I would call for their services again because I know that I have found a company that I can trust and that takes care of their customers. Thank you Busy Bee, Cliff, Sherry, Matt, and Crystal for all your help. Words and 5 stars aren't enough to thank you!

This is a tale of a 2 moves. Move 1 house to apartment and storage area in December. The two movers were great. Super careful and fast. We knew we were moving again in August when the new house was done and we planned to request them again. Move 2 - apartment and storage to new house. Horrible! We called and scheduled the move and she asked us if we wanted the same guys and we said yes. Moving day arrived and no one showed. Called Busy Bee and they clearly didn't have it on the schedule. Movers showed up an hour and a half late and they indicated they were pulled from another job. The move took 2 1/2 hours longer than the first time. The damage to our belongings was in excusable. The solid maple dining room table was scratched and gouged. The top and the legs were damaged. They didn't cover it in the truck and piled stuff on and under it. $900 to have it refinished. They literally dragged our 3-month old king size mattress on the sidewalk. They complained how heavy it was and one guy clearly couldn't lift it. His end dragged on the ground and the mattress now has holes on the corner, dirt on the top and mulch embedded in the side! Finally they managed to put a 20" scratch on the front of our 1-year old dryer. They acknowledged they caused the damage and took pictures of it. The guy said, "That's what insurance is for." So we called and the owner said to file a claim and send pictures. What they don't tell you is that if you don't purchase high value item coverage the damage payout is 60¢ a pound! It's buried in the contract you sign day of move. Damage payout $200. BEWARE! They don't stand behind their work even when they freely admit they caused the damage!

I was most displeased with the lack of professionalism and organization by this company. I surveyed several moving companies for quotes prior to selection and ultimately chose Busy Bee because they were the cheapest, by at least a couple hundred dollars. Perhaps this should have been my first indication that something was amiss. The price I was charged upon completion of the move was practically double the quoted price. I do not think that first number can qualify as a quote if it is nowhere close to the final price. I do understand that quotes are not perfect, and Busy Bee indicates as much on their website. Nevertheless, and again, I would tend to think that a quote would be in the ball park of the final price. For the most part, I had no problem with the movers themselves. They were polite and friendly. Although they took an hour and a half to get to my new home when the drive takes less than an hour. They also broke the leg off a shelf (they were the ones who discovered the break) and broke a leg off of an end table. They also damaged our kitchen griddle and a lamp. They tried to leave without providing any information as to how we might be compensated for our damaged items. They finally told us that we just had to "call Matt." I called the office several times, and each time the staff indicated that I would have to speak to Matt about this matter; however, each time Matt was not available. I also left Matt a voicemail containing all the information in this review but have still not heard back. If I had the choice, I would have went with one of the more expensively quoted moving companies and probably paid less upon completion of the move.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR EMPLOYEES!!!! They hire thieves and are run by people of low moral standings. During a recent move one of their employees STOLE a credit card out of my wife's purse and made fraudulent charges on it. We also had a gold bracelet come up missing during our move. The owner was slow to respond to our request for a call back and did not really want to listen to our complaints about our experience. We have filed a police report and will be following up with the BBB and Attorney General about our experience and I would highly recommend using another company. During our move they damaged several items, scrapped several walls, and put holes in several different places throughout our freshly painted home. The insurance payment was a joke after the owner of the company said he would take into consideration the fact that the crew that was assigned to our move was inexperienced and one employee was recovering from a back injury that the employee complained about and used as an excuse as to why they were very slow. Prior to Busy Bee coming, we had moved over 45 boxes on our own so there was less stuff for them to move. We used Busy Bee to completely pack us 2 years earlier and they took half the time. They were so slow we had to have two extra crew members come over to help with the unload because they had already been there more than 8 hours. The owner, was quick to respond to our dispute of the insurance payment and that they would not be changing anything to the compensation they awarded us. He did not keep his commitment to consider our experience and should not be trusted. AVOID AT ALL COST

Used them for our first move and everything went great with 3 movers. Booked again for our second move and booked 3 movers again, only 2 showed up! First move took 5 hours and second took 11 since there were only two movers. The only thing that changed was a 45 minute drive for the 2nd move. Ended up missing my kids games because of it. I asked to speak with owner about only getting 2 movers and the lady put the phone on hold and was gone for about a minute or more. She came back on and the first words out of her mouth were to add $50 to the bill for a treadmill fee. The movers actually damaged the flooring with the treadmill which was another complaint which is why I feel they added the $50 to the bill. No discussion on the extra fee prior to moving the treadmill. The owner called the next day and didn't really seem to care about me missing my kids games because of their lack of employees not showing up or them not scheduling properly. He wanted to send someone out to try and fix the flooring, which I thought was great. The guy he asked to come out called me and told me that he could not fix the type of floors we have after about a 10 minute conversation. He said he would call the owner back and let him know he couldn't fix the flooring. Never heard back from the owner! Overall very poor experience on the 2nd move. It should also be noted that one of the movers asked for help and the lady in the office called the other mover. The other mover said they were fine and didn't need help! Very poor communication skills between the company! I would not recommend after my last experience with them.

This is my second move with Busy Bee movers. Before they arrived, I received a phone call. Busy Bee asked me if I wanted to upgrade to 3 guys, for an extra $20 per hour. I agreed to the upgrade, and waited for the truck. The guys were scheduled between 8:30-9am. They arrived 5 minutes early and got right to work. I appreciated that the supervisor took the time to explain the contract to me. All 3 men were clean and smelled good (this is important to me). My biggest compliment to Busy Bee would be their customer service. If you call the office, you talk to a real person. The guys who moved me were extremely polite and helpful. I've used big corporate movers before, and I felt like a number. All the employees at Busy Bee movers called me by my first name. The guys were constantly checking to see if I was happy. They asked me where I wanted the items, as they brought them in. They even put boxes in the correctly labeled rooms. I moved from an upstairs apartment to an upstairs apartment. Busy Bee movers had everything moved and set up in 2 hours flat. The last time I used a big name mover, it took them 3 hours. That was with less stuff, and the same amount of guys. What a huge difference! My move wasn't complete, until I told the guys that I was satisfied. They politely took my payment and thanked me profusely. I recommend Busy Bee movers to anyone, who wants that personal touch. These guys are professional, and do it all with a smile. I couldn't have had a better moving experience!!

Wish I would have gone with a different company but it is what it is. We hired Busy Bee based on the price; it was comparable to others and it was one of the first ones I found so I just went with them. Definitely should have looked at the reviews though. Two people came and the younger one literally did 95% the work BY HIMSELF. They did not bring up any equipment (dolly, bands etc..) which seemed pretty strange. They brought a van even though I told the company we didn't need it since we were moving within the same apartment building and then had to spend time looking for somewhere to park it. At the end of the stuff we needed their help with, the guy casually mentions that its a 3 hour minimum (including 1 hour flat rate charge) and they had only done an hours worth of work. I told him that if they expected me to pay for 3 hours worth of work then I guess they would be continuing to work for another hour and he was genuinely surprised that I made them keep working. They definitely should have mentioned that ahead of time since I only had a few pieces of big furniture to move..... I would have done something else if I knew that. The kid moved most everything by himself. The only reason I am leaving 2 stars instead of 0 is because the younger guy worked so hard and did it all. Overall, bad experience minus the one guy who was pleasant and a very hard worker. Whoever that kid is, great job. The rest of the experience definitely don't recommend.

This will be the first bad review I have ever written. I am a business owner myself and I always try to be understanding in bad situations, but this move was unacceptable. The Movers arrived 6 hours and 45 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, I was charged $200 more than the amount quoted, and they were unloading our things at 12:00 am in the morning. Along with the inconvenience of losing an entire half day of getting settled in, my son was sleeping at midnight when they were unloading and I have some pretty unhappy new neighbors. Their customer service is also lacking. When I wrote the owner an email explaining my dissatisfaction with the move, I was offered a $41.75 discount. I couldn't believe that after all the problems, I wasn't at least offered the amount of the original quote. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with this company. The actual movers themselves were fantastic. They were professional, hard working, and accommodating even after working a 17 hour day. I would give the men working 5 stars, and the company 0. I understand that problems arise and always try to be reasonable. I feel like this was a pretty big issue and we were not offered an apology from Busy Bee until after I wrote the owner asking for one. In hindsight, I wish I would have booked All My Sons Moving, or two guys and a truck.

I am giving the company a 5 start because I am highly impressed with the job rendered by Sherry and Cliff. They were fast and moved all my furniture and belongings in a professional manner. (I will recommend this company but read along to fully understand how they charge, so you won't be a victim of the surprising total bill like individuals in previous feedback). Moreover, I understand the reason people give poor feedback because I read through previous feedback dating years back. Based on the receipt given to me post move. I believe the company needs to make customers aware that the move has to be 3 hours minimum which can impact on your final bill. Also, make customers aware of all extra charges that will reflect in the totaled price charged and were not in the initial quotes. Extra charges like Fuel surcharged and so many more; Those extra charges can increasingly make an impact on the final total if they have to drive the truck far away from the moving spot, my moving destination was less than 4 min away from the apartment and I was charged $10 for gas; I can't imagine how much they will charge if they had to drive about 20 min to get to the destination. Overall, I love this company and will certainly use them again now that I know how the company charges.

I scheduled our move months ago with Busy Bee. They told me one date and showed up on a different date. I was coming home from work and the woman who said she was the "owner". She was RUDE beyond belief, told me it was all my problem because she didnt like my tone and cancelled my move today leaving us stranded. Oh she said I could put as many bad reviews out. That means she is paying a company to take down bad reviews. When I scheduled I explained repeatedly told them my furniture is beyond HEAVY. They sent 2 scrawney teenagers and a really heavy woman. I called concerned. My furniture would hurt them. 1. Showed up late 2. Showed up in sweatshirts in 90 weather 3. Owner is shouting and screaming that she is right, and my tone is bad. I have never had a compny show up and have NO IDEA what there doing. 4. Repeatly told them it was heavy furniture and the owner cared so little that she sent poor kids that are going to get hurt. 5. I was going to pay well over $1000 for this moving company to treat the customer like we were #$?×&@># . Use this company only if you want to have your move cancelled because they got there and saw the furniture was beavy.

I had the greatest experience working with Busy Bee Movers while moving to a new apartment in Indianapolis. Rosco, Nate, and Bill were the three movers who not only transported all my furniture/apartment components safely, but they did so quickly, in a professional manner, and genuinely cared about the job they did. They arrived on time, evaluated the job they would have to do, and begin working immediately and with care. The move wasn't easy, either. The apartment I moved into required furniture being hauled up 4 flights of exterior stairs into the unit, in the middle of the summer. I can't thank Rosco, Nate and Bill enough for getting my furniture into my new unit safely, asking continuously if we needed anything moved around once it was all inside, and being absolutely great people to work with. The price was perfectly within budget, and scheduling the move was incredibly easy. Absolutely blown away by the level of service they provided, and extremely grateful for the job well done. Thank you so much, Rosco, Nate and Bill!!! After this experience, they're the only moving company I will recommend to others.

This was my 6th move in 9 yrs. and the absolute worst experience. They showed up unprepared with shrink wrap for items they were informed them about before the move, that would be stored in the garage at my new location I was told I would have 2 men, but really only had 1.5, since one of them was didn't know what he should be doing , because he was standing around most of the time. The move over all took much longer than it should have, but i was still charged for the time. Then it took then 1 hr and 30 min. to arrive at my move in location, which realistically 45 -50 for a truck that size. Then I'm told that if we can get the unload done in an 1.5 hrs. my cost will be 1,100, this on top of the 160.00 dep. I had already made. this was no where near what I was told, so I obviously had to get things moving along, so I was on the truck doing a LOT of the unloading myself, which I have no problem with except for one the guys I'm paying for is working at a slower pace than I am and not being proactive to help get the job done. The bottom line is I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We got several quotes when preparing to move and Busy Bee came right in the middle, cost wise. Matt was very responsive, answered all of our questions and made sure we knew exactly what we would be looking at. On moving day we had two trucks with a 4-man crew. I wish I could remember their names because they were phenomenal. Efficient, careful not only with my belongings and my home but also with each other - making sure no one was going to lift too much or incorrectly and get injured. The total job cost was determined based on how long the move took and these guys hustled to get done as quickly as they could. They did not break a single item (which is remarkable, on our previous move with a different company all of our furniture was damaged.) They did bring several items to my attention that were already broken, which they were unaware of, concerned that something they did could have caused it. The integrity was outstanding, they were hilarious and I cannot recommend this company enough.

I hired Busy Bee to help with my move. When I received their quote, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a lot lower than other local movers. I decided to go with two movers rather than three and move during the work week as it would save a significant amount of money in the hourly rate. Stephen and James D came out to our house in the middle of the pouring rain which was a bummer but they were still very polite and professional despite the nasty weather. Luckily it cleared up about halfway through the move. They were still able to move everything in a timely manner. After all was said and done the price of my move actually ended up being cheaper than what Matt had quoted me. I appreciate Stephen and James D completely the job so quickly. No furniture was damaged in the move and all heavy items were wrapped appropriately to avoid damage. I will definitely recommend Busy Bee to anyone looking to move and will hire them for my next move.

I can’t say enough great things about this company! They were able to get me moved not one, not two, but THREE times within 6 days. Each person I dealt with was nice and professional, and truly some of the best people I’ve ever met. I moved from out of state, and when I got to my new rental I was mortified. The three movers (Busby and two others - sorry!) got me unloaded quick and tried their hardest to turn the mood around and make everything positive. The next morning I called and Crystal worked her magic and got two other guys out that afternoon (sorry I suck and forgot your names too). They were fantastic and got us moved out and into a storage unit quickly. I called Crystal again a few days later to move me for the final time, and once again, excellent service from two of the same people from the original move. Y’all were the only positive thing during my first week here and I’ll always be grateful to each and every one of you. Thank you!!

I hired them to unload three pods and move them 92 miles to my new house. On the way one of the two trucks I hired had a blowout and hit the guard rail. The one employee said it was a violent event and there was damage to my property. Their owner uses a website with discount furniture at the extremely lowest price that’s not even real to compensate. This absolutely is not acceptable and they are to consider having better maintenance on their vehicles and replace the tires before they get so unreliable. At this time I am working with them on resolving the issue Of an extremely low offer/credit. $300 to replace a 65 inch TV and a TV stand is what they found on the Internet and have credited me. ??? They were only $600 over their original estimate so after damaging my property they’re still ahead $300. Cannot recommend them at this time but their employees are good. Again sorry about the accident but please do not make me pay for it

The movers themselves did a wonderful job. They were friendly, fast, and everything went smoothly with them. Setting up everything, though, was a little tough. Every email asking a question would immediately be met with "call me", even after stating multiple tines that I work during their operating times and preferred email. I would have to contact them to receive any info or to get the process going, including having them get my deposit, and half the time I was pushed off the phone unless Crystal (so sorry if this isn't her name--I thought it was but I'm second guessing myself) was the one answering (she was great!) All in all, I had a great moving experoence, but I didn't think I was going to because of how frustrating it was trying to get any response. If you prefer email due to work hours, anxiety, or even just to make sire you have a paper trail, I wouldn't recommend them.

Our experience with Busy Bee was GREAT! Matt, the owner, worked with us from start to finish to get all scheduled and coordinated. He gave us tips on how to make our time less so our cost would be down. Very honest and helpful. The guys were on time and did NOT mess around! All of the guys were respectful, accommodating, and put the customer first! James did a great job "ring-leading" the crew, and boy does he know how to pack a truck! Bill was a workhorse from the beginning to the end. Kenny was always going above and beyond to be sure we were completely satisfied. Hollis was always able to lift things like it was nothing and able to help arrange my shed to maximum capacity! All of the guys had a great work ethic and a great sense of humor too which made it less tedious on us. I would highly recommend Busy Bee for great service at a great price!

Hired Busy Bee to move me from Indianapolis to Little Rock and they were great! To be clear, I had 99% of my stuff boxed up when they arrived, so it was a quick move-out/in. They had all the furniture pads, and plenty of straps to make sure nothing shifted during the move. That's a 9-hour move and not a single thing was broken or busted. They moved everything in to my new unit, which allowed me to spend time organizing. I saw previous reviews that weren't as complimentary, and my main takeaway was to communicate early and often. So I called multiple times and sent emails to make sure all details were correct and that we were all on the same page. And I think that helped, because there were no surprises, everything worked out perfectly, and I was very happy with the excellent work they did. I would definitely hire again for my next big move.

This is the 2nd time we used Busy Bee. The first time was wonderful. The second time we were charged double what we were quoted, at an hourly rate $26 more than quoted. We were charged for items that they didn't actually move, charged double the fuel surcharge, when they didn't bother to show up with a full tank of gas to begin with and stopped en route to the new home to get gas and drinks. We were quoted for 2 guys but 3 showed up. They also left a dolly at the old house, and one of our family members had to go get it so they could continue to unload the truck. We were also charged a service charge of an hour and a half for their trip time to and from the move, which we were not aware of. Perhaps they should consider providing a written quote. We understand a quote is exactly that, but we certainly did not expect our bill to double.

Busy Bee Movers is great! We scheduled a move and then had to reschedule at the last minute. Even so, they were very accommodating. Our move was somewhat complicated with three different delivery locations. The actual moving crew, Joshua and Mike, were on-time, extremely professional, courteous and friendly. Everything was loaded and delivered in perfect condition and the final cost matched the estimate that I had received within $20 so there were no "surprises". When looking for movers I had called another company and contacted them via their webpage and they never even called me back. With this in mind, the next time we need a moving company, we will call Busy Bee Movers and I will recommend Busy Bee to anyone who needs a moving company.

As a small business owner myself I’m very hesitant about leaving bad reviews. But these guys overall were absolutely terrible. No padding put down and it had been raining so you can imagine the mess I’m left with and they billed me double the cost quoted. Equipment costs were never mentioned in original quote. I also had to go buy my own shrink wrap to cover my furniture. The 2 guys were hard working nice guys but overall the experience was pretty low end. $768 to move my house of one level is just silly. If you want to charge that kind of money you better be providing a service that will blow me away. They also left behind trash in my driveway. I won’t be recommending this company to anyone very frustrated.

Used them twice. First time good. Second time quoted me less than 3k and paid over 4k due to lack of organized crew. One member of crew kept asking me for tip. Due to return customer I was confident I could work this out with Mgr (who I dealt with before ) so I called to discuss. Then they ignored me instead of resolving my dissatisfaction. Not professional staff or leadership. Sorry to say I do not recommend. If they would have tried to be professional and acknowledge or resolve my issue it may be different. Oh yeah, I had to finish the move myself because they didn’t bring all that I asked and the crew lied to me about that—I spent 4 hours moving everything else the next morning.

2 out of 3 did a good job moving until damage was done/reported....They hit my car and neighbors mailbox and totally denied it...with witnesses and all, called management...no one cared, left items half way done in old house, had to hire another moving company to move refrigerator that took all of 20 min, (they never attempted just denied to move it) was actually a easy move...I highly recommend to stay away if you value your items.... I had a Great experience with Busy Bee Movers. This was due to the Crew Ryan and other gentleman went above and beyond for me. Great experience. Accomplished the move quickly but carefully. It could have been confusing because we were only moving some items to storage to get ready for putting our house on the market. This is my second time using this company for a move but this time I had to use them to move things from Chicago back to Indianapolis. they did a phenomenal job from the first call to meeting Chris and Michael. They were fast, friendly, and very careful with all my possessions. The items belonged to my grandmother who passed away in February so this was a very emotional move and they made it less stressful and a very smooth process, so thank you to Chris and Michael and a special thank you to the lady who kept answering the phone and helping me each day. Cliff and Sherry were amazing. They were very professional, courteous, and moved with a purpose. You couldnt ask for a better outcome with these two outstanding people. They have what’s called a service charge which the only conclusion I can come to is really just a term for I want more profit because hey who doesn’t. So you get charged for your hours and on top of it they charge another hour or hour and a half just because.

Jeff, Roscoe and Brandon we're very polite and courteous, and they did an excellent job moving our belongings. We had a few complicated and very sensitive items to move and they were extraordinary in their care and attention. This was my first experience with using a moving company for my move. Getting a quote and scheduling the move was really easy. The three movers were amazing! Friendly, SUPER helpful, professional & efficient! The only negative I had is that I was given a window from Noon to 3 p.m. to expect a call from the movers. I did not receive that call and had to call the company only to find out that there was a delay and a new crew would be helping me. Other than that my experience was overall good and I would use them again.

The movers who did the move, Sherry and Cliff, were great! They showed up exactly on time, were professional, courteous, very concerned about cleanliness in both locations (where I moved from and then at the new location), and treated my belongings with great care. A big "thank you" to both of them! When you get your price quote, ask ahead of time what your service charge for drive time will be. You will be paying for drive time to and from their starting location, so it's best you know what to expect up front.

I used Busy Bee Movers for this past Saturday and I was very pleased at how everything went. The 3 men that helped me and my family were extremely pleasant and they were "hard workers". I felt kind of "in the way" because there was nothing for me to do. Just as fast as they packed up my home they unpacked it just as fast with no mishaps. Sherry, Nate and Cliff were very good. They kept me informed of their arrival time as they ran into a little traffic. They were very polite and worked extremely efficiently to complete the move quickly. So much so, that the final price came in under the quoted price. There was a small bit of damage done to a coffee table that was addressed and repaired within a week. Crystal coordinated the whole thing and was always very responsive. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

The 3 man crew that came and moved me out of my older place and into an upstairs apartment were wonderful. Moving itself is chaotic, and hiring movers definitely made it less so. I had some items that were "fragile" and artfully aged that I was concerned about damaging. However they were moved with care and nothing was damaged.
