======== 27 September 2023 ======== We stopped in for a late lunch after a visit to Dr. Oster clean who is across the street in Utopia center. The menu has a breakfast section which indicates breakfast is till 12:00 or 12:30. And the main description it says breakfast all day. Hey owner, she need to fix that. Today the forbidding vertical blinds were open. So it was much lighter at area inside. He could turn into a greenhouse with a son feeding down. But it didn't do that today. We were there at about 2:15 2:30 and ordered lunch. I had a brother with fries, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato. It was better than okay on a scale of 1 to 10. I give it like a 7.5. McDonald's I give like a 4.5 Burger King a five and Wendy's a 5.5 so substantially better than those. The fries were the tiny little fries and the wheel came with a set of plastic utensils. The time that when the fries are a little bit too overdone and hard before it doesn't spare them. It splits and have to eat till fries. But with your hand okay but the fries are still good. I would go back there and will likely go back here again and again. ======================= Last visit, 4 years ago. ======================= It looks "forbidding from outside, I think because of the vertical blinds- you can't see inside, north side of Union Turnpike with it's unrelenting sun. Short comfort food menu, home made soup, everything looks good. I had a bagel w/cream cheese and coffee. Free WiFi, and even somenoutlets to plug in your laptop. Said is CJ's Cafe and just ask for the password. Pleasant people!

What can I say about this? This place is just so AMAZING, the food was incredible!! The bubble tea was just spectacular! I can’t believe that I’ve lived in the area for close to 22 years and this is the first time I had ever had it! When you first enter it’s super quaint and calming, and the service is beyond your typical cafe! They really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and the ambiance is very relaxing. I ordered the chicken cutlet, and I had the lychee and mango bubble tea and it was just delicious and I know me and my girlfriend will definitely go again to try their other sandwiches! And also try their other teas! And the lady was nice enough to give us a sample of the smoothie!! Thank you so much for everything, and I’ll definitely tell other people to come here!!

So I was around the neighborhood waiting around for my nephew and his fam to get out of his graduation. Happen upon this place cause me and my daughter wanted something to munch on. As I walked in I saw 2 of my fav things: a cute little booth, and boba tea. The cashier pointed out on the menu what they are most famous for (we looked brand new) and I ordered the homemade baked chicken avocado cheddar and chipotle sauce press sandwich. Just one bite and I was hooked! Also I ordered the strawberry boba tea, and it taste like nesquick (I love it by the way) my daughter ordered the cheese burger and the “eat a peach” smoothie. And she says it’s delicious. I would definitely be coming back for more.

I found this place on yelp and I was really excited. It's a tiny place, with a few small table for seating. I came in for lunch and got the Homemade baked chicken, avocado, cheddar, and chipotle sauce. It's a panini pressed sandwich and it was good, wouldn't say excellent. Chicken was a little bland, chipotle gave it a nice spicy tingle The avocado, cheddar, and chipotle sauce made up for the blandness of the chicken so that was good. Prices are decent. The sandwich was 7.95. I would definitely come here again and try out their other menu items.

Quiet and pleasant. Not much seating, however the place usually has seats available. The cashier was very nice, and bought my ordered sandwich to me. I got the shrimp po boy and it was pretty decent. They take their time and effort to heat/prepare the bread and all of the components of the sandwich. The sandwiches arent too small nor too big. The only problem I had with the sandwich was that it left my mouth dry. Next time I will try another sandwich. Prices are about $8 for thw popular sandwiches on the menu.

My favorite breakfast is here. Actually I've tried a lot of different dishes including wraps, sandwiches, and drinks. Especially the menu in this picture, home fries so good. both fresh, clean, delicious,excellent service, price reasonable. And food always made my day

I love CJs! They've been a staple here for years. The owners are super sweet and hard working. I always get their chicken cutlet pressed sandwich with avocado, lettuce, tomato and chipotle sauce. Simple, delicious, and a large portion! Go there for a good and simple lunch

Had the chicken and avocado toast which was delicious. My best friend had an omelette with home fries. The home fries were just ok and nothing special. The coffee arrived super cold and way too full of sugar. Afraid to ask the guy at the front desk to heat it up, i did anyways. He put the timer on 5 minutes. He handed it back super piping hot and smelling of smoke with a strange expression. I will not be returning.

It was my first time being here, so I was skeptical when going in. I 100% made the right choice! The staff was was very hospitable. They were very pleasant about answering all seven of my questions about the menu lol. The food was absolutely amazing! I had two different omelets, chocolate chip pancakes, and a smoothie. Each item was delicious! I recommend this place for sure!

We absolutely LOVE this place. My kids and I grab lunch to go whenever we have soccer at Cunningham Park, and CJ’s aways serves us up something delicious with outstanding service. Custom sandwiches & an excellent menu with something for everyone - vegan/veg options & meat eaters. The smoothies are delicious as well! I’m so glad CJ’s is a regular part of our weekends

Great food. I work across the Street, and from all the deli's and restaurants on the block, i like to spoil myself with CJ's. My ULTIMATE FAVE is the Peanut butter & Nutella whole wheat hero sandwich. I've tried almost everything in there, the hero's, smoothies, coffee, and even the sweet potato fries are just DELICIOUS! Great job Kee kee, CJ's is really awesome!

Outstanding service I love the staff, the food, and the ambience. This place is amazing the hospitality is great.The ingredients you can tell are good quality and they prepared superb food. Their chicken cutlet sandwich on a hero is must try. I hope this small restaurant thrive and keeping up the amazing food and service! One of my favorite spot.

After sitting in traffics, my lady and I googled a place to eat close by and they came up within 5 minutes from us. Great hospitality. Great food. I had the cheese burger, fries. It was big and juicy. My lady had spicy chicken fajita wrap. She enjoyed it. We both are satisfied. Thank you CJ's. If we are in the area again we will return.

It is still good as usual. Cafe still serves such good cutlet sandwiches and you can even add avocado. Burgers of pleasant size too!

I love this place, their food portions are big and worth the price. The egg and cheese quesadillas are so much for one person and I love their chicken-avocado pressed wrap. They always give some kind of chips on the side with every order. The staff is so kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

Really good sandwiches, way better than any of the Subways in the area. I'm coming here from now on. Also love the smoothies. The best part is customer service, the lady at the counter was very friendly, and accommodating about my food allergies.

Vegetarian Perspective: Gave it 3 stars for effort. Had the veggie burger deluxe. It's literally a vegetable burger that could use some flavor. The spot is cozy and clean. Food is cooked on the spot which is good. I'm willing to go back and try the veggie wrap, it may be a better choice.

I’ve been taking out food from them for some 7 years now. Their food over this time has been incredibly consistent and delicious. Also, they always serve me with a smile. It’s my sincere hope that they will be able ride out this pandemic and reopen in the very near future.

Great sandwiches and very friendly service! Would definitely recommend CJ's if you're in the neighborhood and need something quick and tasty. My fiance and I had the first two Press Sandwiches (paninis pretty much) and they were great, especially the chipotle sauce one.

This is my go to place if I am having lazy weekend. We just order breakfast and it never lets you down. Love their roasted omelette! Always fresh! Home fries and good too. The lady in front is very friendly. Places like these make you love Queens!

My first deli living in queens and I don’t need to find another one. The mango smoothie is the best I’ve ever had and the chipotle chicken sandwich is gassed for a reason. If you don’t try this place out while ya here what are you doing.

Their blueberry pancakes are really good. I really enjoyed the lychee smoothie. The prices are reasonable. The workers are very helpful & friendly. It's a small cafe but I can usually get a table when I go there. I will continue going.

Very good and affordable food. The service is quick and efficient, but its more of a take-out place than a sit-down cafe. Overall you can leave satisfied with not much to complain. P.S. The home fries are particularly good.

This is the most respectful and amazing place to have breakfast or lunch in queens. The manager is great, the service is quick and friendly, the food is extraordinary, and you truly get a bang for your buck. Recommend 10/10

This is a big Lunch spot in Fresh Meadows. Ive never been in the location but they delivered for me when I was working in the area. The burgers are scrumptious! Portions are large. The real gem here? The Fries!!!

Very friendly staff. The menu is full of great fresh options. They even gave my daughters a small frozen dessert after our lunch it was very much appreciated. My family will definitely be back!

Good place for a quick sandwich or wrap. Orders are usually quick. Haven't tried other things on their menu besides the pressed sandwiches or wraps. Come here occasionally if I want a sandwich.
