"First the pharmacy is not 24 hours! Secondly I stopped by the Stony Island location to have a prescription transfered and filled"
"This is hands down THE WORST pharmacy in the city of Chicago! Nothing is ever ready (EVEN after they’ve sent you 15 texts saying that it’s ready), no one ever knows ANYTHING about ANYTHING, the wait is RIDICULOUS, prescriptions are lost, you request refills & someone will tell you that they’re putting it in then you’ll come back asking about it only to find it was NEVER put in (smh), if you call in you have to make sure you have nothing to do for at LEAST a hour because that’s about how long you’ll be holding on! I absolutely hate this pharmacy, the only good thing I can even speak on is the customer service from ONE pharmacy tech named Marcus H"
"Terrible knowledge of business"
"CVS on Stoney Island gave me wrong medication"
"This pharmacy is ridiculous! I called to speak to a pharmacist"
First the pharmacy is not 24 hours! Secondly I stopped by the Stony Island location to have a prescription transfered and filled. The pharmacy tech said it would take about 30 minutes for the entire process. I explained that I would come back the next day, I was assured my prescription would be ready and waiting. Well exactly 24 hours later I go to pick up my prescription and it's NOT ready! Now this young lady is looking at me like oh well, which immediately pissed me off. Now I'm told it's going to take an additional 15 minutes to fill my prescription, mind you this should have been done already. So I run an errand and come back......it's still not ready! The pharmacy tech mentioned she left a couple of messages for me. Well I don't have voice mail at home and I do not use my cell number for any "professional business". Now if she called my work phone, that didn't make sense. Because I clearly stated I no longer worked at that company which is why I needed my prescription transfered, OMG! Bottom line is I had to call the other store to get my prescription transfered myself and had to make four trips the pharmacy for one prescription, ridiculous! I HATE my job requires me to use CVS and not Walgreens, ugh!
This is hands down THE WORST pharmacy in the city of Chicago! I absolutely hate this pharmacy, the only good thing I can even speak on is the customer service from ONE pharmacy tech named Marcus H. HE’S EXCELLENT & seems to be the only one that ever knows anything. Outside of him, they just need to scrap the whole pharmacy & start over.
Terrible knowledge of business. I asked both cashiers for help with returning an item through the digital receipt and the older lady had an attitude and wasn't trying to find a solution. The second person I asked stares at me as if she had no idea of what I was saying. This isn't the first time the older lady was rude, I just hate going in there because of the service you get. The second worker had an idea of how Walgreens digital receipts worked but not CVS, the company she said works for, just pitiful.
CVS on Stoney Island gave me wrong medication. When I started having allergic reaction I looked at the med and called the pharmacist whose name is Lisette .She admitted the meds was wrong and stated that we are all human being and make mistakes. When I tried to explain to her that it should be zero tolerance when it comes to medication she hung up the phone on my face. I think People at CVS should be more professional and try not to put people live in danger. Safety precaution should be used
This pharmacy is ridiculous! I called to speak to a pharmacist. Someone answered the phone and said please hold, someone else is ahead of you and never came back to the phone. I just laid the phone down after 20 minutes and called back from my cell phone and was put in front of the call I was still holding on. This has happened on several ocassions. Please hire more help. Your team is slow and very rude.
Unfortunately, some of the woman in the pharmacy are rude and unprofessional. I was denied and turned away simply because the hospital made an error on my prescription. The lady called security on me simply because I wanted to get assistance with my prescription. If you don't like your job and can not show compassion do not sign up for it. People should not be treated like peasants and discriminated.
The store itself is ok...but their Pharmacy lacks any semblance of good customer service. I moved here from Hyde Park. Like night and day! Hyde Park should train the people workin in this CVS on 87th & Stony Island. They get only 1 star for ALWAYS screwing up either my meds or my Mom's meds. Only when my script was transferred here, did I start having problems. Close this Pharmacy. Its worthless!
Worse pharmacy ever if my insurance didn’t make us use it I would not go there. They have given us other peoples medicine, when I call to check if a prescription is ready the phone service says it’s ready for pick up but when you get there it’s not ready or not in stock and if you try to speak to someone you are on hold for over 30 minutes.
I really like the Kodak picture machine however its always BROKE and whats worse is the workers tend to have not a clue. The last time I went back in December 2015 and it was broke then. The manager and district manager need to either have it fixed properly so it doesn't brake down constantly or don't offer the service.
I was on hold for almost an hour total after calling 3 times and speaking with a manager only to be transferred back to pharmacy's voicemail with no answer, no pickup and nothing but wasted minutes on my cell phone. To top it off I still did not get a status on a RX promised last week, then Monday! This is ridiculous!
Denied entry to the cvs 5 minutes before closing. But the heavy set bald guy allows a women to enter 2 minutes before closing which is unprofessional. Not sure if i was profiled for being a young black male or what. I was just in the store 15 before the situation but i needed cash instead of card. Not cool.
Who is working a job when they answer the phone..the first time all they say is Hello..and then hang up....called back and waited about 5 mins to get through...and now you answer the phone laughing...I ask if you got the product you say yes I think so...laugh and then ask me what am I looking for .....wow
I’m not going to Chicago the day you I don’t think you I don’t know what I can do I want you to go back to my baby girl you and I just got to you and you can do it I don’t want to get you back tomorrow I don’t want to get you back tomorrow night I want to go back to my o I r to go get back with
The ENTIRE pharmacy team takes lunch at the same time thus closing the pharmacy in the middle of the day with no warning/signs at the front door. Elderly and handicapped individuals struggle to walk into this establishment just to be turned away. Ridiculous....
Standing at the door for 10 minutes now. Store opens at 7a.m. and it is now 7:15. If it were not for my son needing a splint for his finger I would have left. Thanks CVS for making me late dropping my kids off for school and me getting to work late …
Pharmacy automated system calls daily for no apparent reason. You can Never get anyone on the phone No matter what time, day or night. When you do go in the store its basically just the same. No information about anything. Lack luster, slow service always.
Business is brisk as it's near an Advocate hospital, but staff is professional and courteous despite the challenges they face of staffing on site customers and a drive through window. All aim to please and are appreciative of individuals who are patient.
Came through drive at 11:47am on 8/2/2023 and the lady was so rude towards me she kept yelling at me saying speak up I can’t hear you. Finally she slammed my meds in the turn about and didn’t say anything. Not even if I had a question about my medicine
The security guard boldly followed me and the two people I was with around the store. The cashier damn near laugh in my friends face. I suggested to my buddy that she should not buy anything and we should just leave but she bought something anyway.
The Mgr Maurice Bryant at the 87th Stony Island St. CVS Store is doing a Great! Job keeping up W/ the store & has repaired the Ladies bath rm.. Supplied carts to shop with and I want to thank Mr. Bryant & CVS for bring him to this location. …
I really love going into a store where the customer service is great, you are greeted when you enter the store, and you can find everything that you come in for, and you leave satisfied. That is what I got at CVS, above and beyond. Thanks CVS!!!
I went to the pharmacy 4 weeks ago. The store had been rearranged since the last time I had went. It was neater, things were well spaced. The pharmacy line was set up so that people could practice social distancing, and there wasn't a long wait.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Called up there to ask about a specific brand of baby chest rub. Associate checks, says they don’t have it. I ask in turn if they have any type of baby rub at all. She says no. I ask her well how do you
This has to be the most unprofessional, slowest, and un-stocked( not sure if that is a word) store. I’m so disappointed that there is an issue every time I go. It’s unfortunate that the neighborhood CVS will be losing our business.
I lost my keys during the morning shift and didn't realize until after I made it home from work. I called and the night staff and night manager Lawrence was really helpful. The manager even made a follow up called. Thank You CVS.
This location is the worst CVS pharmacy in the country. Nobody knows anything. They tell you on the phone prescription is ready. Get there and it's not ready. I don't know where they get these "workers". They need a ZERO rating.
Walked in here today with my son and bm. The store smelled like PISS like the piss you would smell on the Red line from one of the homeless people hitchhiking. The lottery machine was dead but they did have cheap single beers.
I'm not sure about the bad reviews, because every time I visit this CVS it's always a pleasant greeting even the pharmacy department no long wait and the front cashiers are always professional, kind and courteous.
The worst place ever to have a prescription filled. Staff is not personable, not helpful and really shows a lack of wanting to assist in any capacity. Which begs the question why are you in customer service?
I've been in the pharmacy section 40 minutes and counting for a prescription that I was told would be ready in 20 minutes. As polite as the workers are, that does not change the delay in service.
Pharmacy is slow, Unprofessional people and never have enough stock. Wish my insurance let me go back to Walgreens. Its a problem every time i need my childrens prescription filled. Worst
I disagree absolutely with the negative reviews, below. My experience with the pharmacy has been excellent: prompt, competent: particularly with two Covid-19 inoculations. Kingsley
I do not know the name of the pharmacist who works on Saturdays in the afternoon but she successfully diagnosed a medical ailment. Kudos to her and this store. I am very grateful!
The employees recognize me and greet me by name. The pharmacy department is much more efficient, friendlier, and more capable than the Walgreen's across the street.
I like this CVS because despite the neighborhood that they’re in , The manager and employees manage to get the job done professionally and correctly ✅ …
My CVS Pharmacy experience has been good. when I call-in my the Prescription refills they contact me 2-Hours later to let me know it's ready for pick up.
The cashier was so rude. Her and her coworker talking while I waited. I asked for my receipt and was told you could have got it. Unbelievable.
They have a ATM Allpoint Cash Station machine inside store and stay open until midnight everyday 7 days a week. I highly recommend this store.
Pharmacist asked me to hold. I asked for how long. "5 minutes." I've been on hold for 15 minutes now. I'm still on hold. This is ridiculous.
Was placed on hold for over 20 minutes. No answer. I am getting my prescriptions completed somewhere else. Won't be going to that one
I called to place my prescription and was given a time it would be ready but 45 mins later I'm still here with no prescription. …
its a toss up as to whether CVS or Walgreens is superior, the only real difference is that there's more Walgreens around where I live
Had all items on stock I was looking for. Employees very respectful and apologetic for only one person working front store check out.
Love this pharmacy and the staff!!! VERY helpful and caring! They work hard and you leave with a smile and complete satisfaction!
I am in the medical field. This has to be the worst pharmacy Ihave ever dealt with in my 20+ years of medical service.
Refill option on line not available, no reason given. Waited 30 minutes on line to speak to someone. No response.
Says they close at 12 AM 920 they’re closed get your hours correct so a person doesn’t waste their time
Great service. Items desired were quickly located. New level of graditude from the butcher department.
The store was clean and orderly. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I will definitely return.
Great store !! Pharmacy is great . Better than Walgreens.!! They have really nice flat irons
The cashiers are very patient , helpful and Make my sick days bright with their warm smiles
Prescription pickup tthru the drive thru for easy pick up no waiting in line.
No trouble in this store. I had a great shopping experience. Thank you all!
This place used to okay but now it's filled with a bunch of rude employees
Pharmacy and the manager and dm if there was a minus star they'd get it .
Worst pharmacy ever!!!! Slow, medications out of stock. Find another one!
Employee rude acted as if we were bothering him when asking question
I call in to the pharmacy and the person was very helpful and nice
Very rude to customers unprofessional refuse to service customer .
Worst cvs ever, always crowded and they never answer the phone!
They slow and unpolite to custumers. To long of wait in lines
Great customer service, and cleanliness and organized store.
The pharmacy lacks knowledge. Customer service is terrible!
One of the largest pharmacies in the Chicago area !
Enjoy the convenience of the drive thru pharmacy.
To sum this up quickly., the Pharmacy staff lies
The customer service and service is ridiculous
