"Drove all the way to this location from Avon, because it was the only location with my prescription in stock, and when I went to use a GoodRx code that I’ve used at my usual CVS in Avon without any delays or issues, and with it being instantly used, I instead was told that it would take at least a half hour to re-bill the prescription"
4/4/2023 I sent a request for a refill in on 4/1/2023. I went to pickup the prescription today at 3:30pm and the prescription was not available. The drive-thru is closed today for no apparent reason. They always claim low staffing issues, but there was 6 people working today. It took several minutes to assist me as I watched one employee look at me while using her cellphone. They always seem to be too busy to help the people who walk in and stand at the counter. There attitude is horrible 90% of the time and it feels like punishment whenever I have to pickup my prescriptions! I have tried speaking to management but that didn’t seem to work. I have been using this location for at least 15 years because it is a part of my community. The service from the pharmacy has went completely down hill! Today I transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy because I need my medication once I have it called in. 72 hours is too long of a wait for people with serious medical issues. Not to mention that the automatic refill system isn’t timely either. Being behind on people’s medications is one thing, but poor customer service is the icing on the cake for me. This store should close permanently because they never have prescriptions available in a timely manner and their customer service is terrible. Low staffing is not an excuse for not being productive and professional!
Ordered photos online went to pick them up and they were printed on the wrong type of paper. I ordered photos from the same place a month ago and the same thing happened. I thought in 30 days they would have time to order and receive glossy paper. It is the most requested paper in photography. But either their manager doesn't have a clue or worse just doesn't care about his customers. I gave them a 4 star rate because the lady helping me does care about the customer. If this person isn't the Assistant Manager, she should be, if she is the Assistant Manager she should be promoted because the Manager there has no skills dealing with customers and from my experience dealing with him he doesn't care about the customer or he would have ordered the correct paper. A month ago when waiting for the Manager to come to the checkout desk the lady at the counter said I was the third person in two days that rejected their photos because of the wrong paper. So does he not care about the customer or has no clue how to order glossy paper. I know he knows what glossy paper because I took the time to teach him the diffent types of paper. And wear a collar shirt a gray graphic T-shirt shouldn't be worn during work hours it is disrespectful.
I am so fed up with this store. The pharmacy is terribly slow and super understaffed. They constantly don’t have my prescriptions ready when they say they will be, and the lines move painfully slow - 3 people ahead of you could take half an hour! Almost every time I refill a prescription they do not have it ready when I go in, and I find this out after waiting in line 20+ minutes and have to leave and come back later and wait in line again! Also no one ever answers the phone when I call. When I’m in there I can hear their phone saying how many calls are waiting for them, but they’re too short staffed to ever pick up the phone. I’m asking my doctor to switch my prescription elsewhere because the 3 months I’ve been at this pharmacy have been a terrible headache.
This pharmacy seems really disorganized. It's definitely slow moving. It takes at least 5 business days for a prescription to go through and be ready for pickup, and that's IF they have it in stock. There have also been multiple occasions where I'm told that the pharmacist is currently filling my prescription and that it'll be ready in an hour so come back then, and when I do they say they they're out of stock of it and have been out of stock of it and that they don't know why I was told to come back. While I'm glad that they fill my prescriptions correctly (unlike my previous pharmacy,) it would be nice if it was faster and the staff had better communication with each other.
Drove all the way to this location from Avon, because it was the only location with my prescription in stock, and when I went to use a GoodRx code that I’ve used at my usual CVS in Avon without any delays or issues, and with it being instantly used, I instead was told that it would take at least a half hour to re-bill the prescription. So, in addition to having to go considerably out of my way, I also have to either wait a half hour in an area I have no other business in, or come back another day. What an absolute joke. The entire point of GoodRx coupons are that they’re fixed prices. There is nothing to bill insurance because it can’t be combined.
The staff was overwhelmed. There was a constant line of 5-6 people and another line for those waiting on vaccinations. The aisles were full of stock. The vaccination area was filthy. Had I not waited 2 and 1/2 hours with my 90 something year old parents We would have left. The area was filled with boxes and a cart full of items. There was barely enough room for the associate and my parents. The trash was overflowing. It was not clean. It would seem under those conditions that the staff would be even more pleasant. Sadly this wasn’t the case.
My husband and I have used this pharmacy for over 20 years. While things have changed in terms of turnaround time and it is clear that they are understaffed, I have not found the pharmacy personnel to be rude…In fact they have been friendly and willing to go out of their way in some instances to help. The backlog has been a bit much lately which is frustrating but quite frankly I want to know what CVS corporate is doing to get their pharmacies fully staffed. This problem may be more severe at this location but it is not unique to this store.
Does ANYONE work at this pharmacy??? Calling from a physician office to check some information for a patient prescription and have been on hold for almost 30 minutes!!!! This is NOT the first time that this has been the case. Every time a patient calls to say they have a problem with their prescription, I internally pray that I don't have to call this location to straighten things out!! Didn't even want to give a one star review, but I couldn't post a review without giving at least one.
I tried several times to call them to have my prescription transferred to them due to my insurance request. They're doesn't work or no one doesn't respond to it. No one answers the pharmacy phone. I called the actual store twice and 2 different people told me they will get with the pharmacy to fill my prescription and no one ever called me back. No one cared that I was out of my prescription or that I was pregnant and I needed my prescriptions to avoid pre-eclampsia. Horrible!
Consistently the worst pharmacy I’ve been to. Prescriptions are not ready when they say they’ll be ready, drive-through line takes significantly longer than Walgreens or other CVS locations, and they forget to mix water into powdered prescriptions like amoxicillin. I just spent 20 minutes in line in the drive-through for a prescription that we were told was ready only to have them tell us that it won’t be ready until tomorrow.
Very short staffed, medication wasn’t ready in a timely manner. Calling didn’t help because no one picked up! I was on hold for 26 mins. Before hanging up and drive there for the third time, just to be told my medication still wasn’t ready! I will never have medication filled at this location again!!!! I’ve been a customer for many years ( 15+) and this is the worst few months I’ve ever seen this location.
I feel for the staff at this store as their work load has dramatically increased with closures of other CVS stores in the area, and the store is no larger than it was before the other closures. Even so, today, they went above and beyond to rectify a situation caused by insurance hassles. It really wasn't their fault, but they made it right anyway. Kudos to the staff and management there!
I must admit that this pharmacy is hard to get a hold of over the phone. But when someone answers the staff is always professional and helpful. And in dealing with them in person everyone is friendly and helpful. I just think they are under staff at times, but I never had any bad experiences in this particular CVS. Thanks for great customer service and keep up the good work!
They never answer the phone there. I've called and been on hold for hours no bs just to see if they would ever answer and they never do. They claim to be so busy, yet if they were to just answer the phone the pharmacy wouldn't be as crowded. Several times I had to drive there wait for an extended period of time to only have to come back another day.
One of the worst experiences to get a Covid vaccine. I scheduled my appointment online. However when I went there to get my vaccine, no one attended me for five minutes. And then I was told that I can’t get my vaccine because the person administering the vaccine wasn’t there. Ridiculous that this wasn’t told prior to me coming there.
CVS on Georgetown Road has some of the greatest pharmacy reps that has a great personality and have great customer service skills they always make you feel comfortable and always willing to help so you guys keep up the good work and thanks for making my experience at CVS pleasurable every day every time I come there thank you
My friend waited to make sure her prescription was entered. Was told to leave by the tech and promised the order was put in. Came back 5hrs later and found out the order was never entered and the prescription was found to be inactive. This pharmacy is run by Satan’s techs and needs to be burned to the ground and salted.
I wanted to speak with someone at the store to see if they had metal grips for Ace wraps. It was impossible to get a live person. The auto recording only helps if you have a question about COVID testing which I did not. I don't want to waste my time and gas to drive to a store if they don't have what I'm looking for.
I have been a customer of this CVS location for over 15 years. I never had an issue with this location until recently. No one will answer the phone. I sat in the drive through line for 20 minutes and the line never moved. Cars were wrapped around the building. We will be moving our business to another pharmacy.
Pharmacy is incredibly slow to respond to holds and takes longer than other locations to order medication. They frequently do not contact you to let you know medication is ready and you have to reach out yourself and deal with a 15-45 minute hold to determine if your prescription is filled.
They really take their sweet time in helping customers. No urgency, like being on vacation. I'm ashamed they're doing this in my neighborhood. Bet corporate wouldn't allow this in Carmel... Update: They've added staff so the service is much better. Keep up the great work.
They told me over the phone they would fill my husband’s RX. (After 3 calls and 20+ minutes on hold) Then told me he had no prescriptions on file at pick up. The RX is called into another pharmacy and insurance won’t pay because CVS filled it. Total s*#%-show. Go somewhere else!
Worst cvs in the city. I had 3 Dr. phoned in scripts. Waited 45 min. They only gave me 2. Tried to call back for # 3 they wouldn't answer the phone. Went back 2 hrs later they did not have it ready. I will be going to Walgreens from now on. Much better service!
They never have anything in stock and it takes multiple days to get anything in. When asked if we can get the prescription elsewhere, they said "you'll have to call around". Unless you have to use this location, I would find a different pharmacy.
Every time I went to this CVS they managed to mess up my script one way or another. Rather that be filling the wrong one, not filling when it should've been filled, or just not filling it at all. Very rude pharmacists that are in no way helpful.
Automated pharmacy said it wasn’t time for my prescription to be refilled when it was and I was on hold for a long time and never talked to anyone. They could be more friendlier and more patient. Need to update their automated refills, etc.
Terrible customers service. They need to get more knowledge people who are not rude and have some kind of clue what they are doing. By far the worst phamarcy I have ever been to. From now on I will go out of my way to go to another cvs.
Changing Pharmacies. Was treated like I was stupid. I have waited stupidly long lines, while in pain, to get medicine. Only to be told it still isn't ready and to come back again. Either get your act together or close. But I'm done.
This CVS is my go to pharmacy, I like the customer service and the way is being taking care of. I can find what ever I’m looking for and if I cannot find it I can easily ask one of the employees and they are there to assist.
Always have system issues. Dr order prescription at 9am and at 5pm still no luck.... And when you call to inquire about it, they get upset with you like it is your fault.... Sorry just trying to get my medicine...
This particularly store has an extremely high volume of medication customers. The public needs to considerate of that and be patient when it comes to pharmacy staff, who are often working 16 hour or longer days.
This is the 2nd day I've come to the drive up window to find a very long line 8-10 cars long with several customers taking a 1/2 hour at the drive up window. It REALLY is a customer service nightmare.
CVS is the worst place to get your medicine. They are slow, takes forever to find your medicine, replace your medicine. Horrible horrible service. Hire more qualified staff pleaseeeeee.
FOR SEMI TRUCK DELIVERIES ~ Enter from 56th St, there are no dock but they unload you in the middle of parking, bit complicated but folk guy helps you, unloading takes around 30 mins.
They are terrible at filling and refilling medication. They take days to even fill medication. They take 30 mins to answer phones or even an hr in the drive thru.
Rude pharmacy lied about dr not calling in a prescription. Waiting 25 minutes for a prescription called in 1.5 hrs ago. Very slow. Very rude, very dishonest
Takes way to long for your prescriptions to be filled and the pharmacy closes way way too early. I dislike CVS altogether going to change pharmacies.
How could you be closed at 6:30 on Saturday and don't have the window open anymore people with disabilities can't stand that long. Poor service
The staff is very friendly. The Manager needs to keep the entrance to the store clean. Empty the garbage can, sweep, hire a kid if staff can’t!
They never answered my phone calls and drive there to have to wait for over an hour to fill my prescription. Nightmare worse experience ever!
I had a prescription that cost way more than I thought it ever would, and I they allowed me to split it in two. It was really helpful.
This location typically now usually insists on a customer using self checkout. Not all of the management change has been positive.
so apparently they're CLOSED from 1:30-2 for lunch? that's ridiculous... get someone to cover your shift. I need my medicine now.
called 3 times to find out if they have children's vaxes and each time i was hung up on after being on hold for 30 minutes.
Ms. Chaka has EXCELLENT customer service. I appreciate her calm demeanor with the system malfunctions. She is a rockstar!
The only 24 hour pharmacy that carried the medicine my fiancé and I needed for our daughter. Wonderful customer service.
No one should ever have to stay on hold for an hour just to speak to the pharmacy this is insane. Worst location ever.
CVS advertises passport photos, but when we went in the person working here said that they do not do them.
Do not go here. They will short you on your medication. I am contacting the DEA regarding the matter.
I had a Lotta problems with this CVS the people in the pharmacy talk to you with no respect
Always has what you're looking for when you go in, but the staff could be friendlier.
This particular CVS is always extremely busy. Especially the pharmacy
Absolutely Brutal Drive thru! Make sure your tank is full of gas
The retail store staff is great. The pharmacy, not so great.
toni hooked us up :) made our moneygram process a lot easier
Toman mucho tiempo en atenderte! Para nada recomendable!
Rude lady cashier at store side. Pharmacy is same way.
Worst pharmacy staff, they never answer their phone.
Prompt customer service and friendly employees
Friendly staff. This is my favorite location!
Excellant store. Store looks great!!!
They are great at letting me down
Never answer the phone
Helpful in and out
