Updating my review for 12/7/21 - scheduled to get my flu and booster vaccine here and their process is absolutely atrocious - they sent me two check on links at 1:18 when my appointment was at 2:45 - I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment to check in and neither of the links worked. I had to check in at the desk and there was a huge line. When I was able to be helped, it was 2:50. They couldn't tell me how long I was going to have to wait (even though I had an appointment) and were unwilling to give me any time frame. I suggest getting your vaccine or booster somewhere else as the pharmacy organization of this process is absolutely horrible. Schedule at your own risk. I was picking up my prescription yesterday, 5/22, around 9am and had such a discouraging experience. First of all, I live right across the street from this CVS and visit very frequently. You could call my husband and I regulars. As I was waiting in line at the pharmacy, the CVS manager was having a conversation at the other end of the pharmacy with one of the techs, quite loudly, talking about how short staffed he was. He then went on to talk about how the people applying for jobs "don't really want jobs" - how people would rather be on government assistance rather than come work at CVS. I find this attitude in a manager problematic and as a mental health professional, i think the reason people arent staying committed to the hiring process says more about the hiring manager than the people applying. I was extremely bothered by this conversation taking place in front of customers (and if i could hear him, a lot of other people could hear him) because im guessing "those who dont want jobs" (unemployed people) still need to come in and receive medication and essential needs. On another note, the pharmacy staff deserves five stars. I've never had an issue with them and they have always been kind and polite. Also, Jerome, our favorite cashier, deserves 10 stars. He is the highlight of all our night time visits. Theres a lot of wonderful things about this CVS, but i encourage corporate to look into this manager and give him some training on professionalism and cultural sensitivity. His classist attitude isnt serving the population of our neighborhood.
Where should I start? Well, there was the time when they gave me the wrong dosage for my medication so I was taking half of what I should have been taking for a month. Then there was the time they lost...yes LOST my prescription for a controlled substance and expected ME to contact my doctor for a replacement. "Uh, yeah. Doc I'm gonna need more of that controlled substance because it got lost." I would have been laughed out of the office. It took a good five days for them to get it straightened out. Then there was the time they sent a text message saying my prescription was ready for pickup only for me to be told that they didn't even have it in stock when I got there. Huh? When I showed the pharmacist the text message I'd gotten, she shrugged and said they'd been having trouble with the texting system and that I should have called in to check if the prescription was ready or not. Why on earth would I call in to check when I got a text that literally says the medication is ready for pickup? Then there was the time I was put on hold for 15 minutes, then put on hold for another 15 minutes when I called again, then put on hold again even though I shouted "WAIT DON'T PUT ME ON HOLD" when I called a third time. Then there was the time they told my wife that they'd sold her medication to someone else because she didn't pick it up in time even though they'd previously told her that she couldn't pick it up UNTIL that date. God, these people are morons. I wish I lived closer to another pharmacy.
RE: Store ID: #9686 4707 VENICE BLVD, LOS ANGELES, CA 90019 I have been a customer at the above store since 2004. Each year, the condition of the store gets worse and worse. It is filthy, run-down and smells like feet. The carpets are soiled. The shelves are full of dust and only a quarter filled with actual products. I loathe going in this CVS to fill my prescriptions - I wait until the absolute last possible minute to go in. So many items are locked up and/or dirty or even unavailable. I feel both like a criminal when I walk in and like my money isn't valued. I used to easily spend $100-$150 each visit, lingering down the aisles each week. Now, I get in and out for my prescription - no lingering for me. While the staff is friendly, they all seemed depressed and unmotivated in such a dismal location. I don't blame them. Clean up this store and show the neighborhood you actually care about us and our business.
When CVS messes up an order or delivery, it takes several days to resolve and they have no human who can take care of it. They cannot step out of their computerized systems to resolve it. We needed our medication, and depended on it to be delivered YESTERDAY according to the tracking etc. Even calling the corporate office and escalating it did not help. They reached out to their district manager, DEEP PATEL, but he didn't return the call either. They are not allowed to call him and must email him only. I spent literally 8 hours trying to get this resolved and am still in limbo and honestly, my head HURTS. I didn't care if Uber-eats delivers the meds!! They could not coordinate with SHIPT who usually does their delivery because of the computer glitch. In the meantime, we are now missing 2 doses of the meds. The meds were ordered in enough time. This is ridiculous CVS--get your delivery situation together.
I can't believe all the KARENS leaving 1 stars... If they don't get what they want within 20 minutes they go home and leave a one-star review containing multiple paragraphs like anyone cares... I always come to this CVS even though there's another location right across the street from me... They serve a large community so I'm not really bothered by the occasional longer wait time... Every once in awhile they don't have my medication in stock so I'll either wait a few days until they get it or I'll just transfer it to a different CVS, no biggie... Staff is friendly enough and nobody ever hassles me about bringing my scooter inside...
The worst cvs i have ever been too and the worst customer service I've gotten. As soon as it turned 10 the female manager/cashier where kicking us out and using the security guard to scare us off. Instead of trying to kick us out why don't you help me find what im looking for? i work in retail and i would never treat my customers like that especially if they need a some medicine, which i needed. If you want to have a successful business you need to have a good relationship with your customers (business 101). Never go here so that they can close this cvs down because im taking my business to Rite Aid instead.
I'm convinced this is the absolute worst CVS Pharmacy in the nation. They answer their phones as if they're being held against their will and will put you on hold for 15+ minutes. I can honestly say I've never been on a hold that was less than 15 minutes. It doesn't matter what time of day you call. So ridiculous. I've started transferring my prescriptions to the location by my work because this BS isn't worth it. I'm currently on hold with them to do just that and the wait time just hit 25 minutes. HOW?! Do better.
Incredibly unbelievable! Pharmacy staff couldnt help my husband and I. I was having issues with my daughters medication at another cvs location and this location and they were being rude and annoyed but didn't find a way to help me. The other location was way more helpful and was able to figure out what he can do unlike these lazy employees who just want to get paid to do nothing. Really unbelievable!
Every time I go to this CVS. location I leave angered. It is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any other location...considering I am a midtown native it really offends me. The manager Mr. Marco is the most rude and unprofessional manager I’ve ever witnessed. He needs to take customer service 101 or try a different profession. I guess he figures CVS doesn’t care for their customers.
Worst pharmacy ever visited! Takes over a week to get your medication filled. If they're out of the medication, they will not tell you that they can order it unless you ask. Very unprofessional, lack common sense and just a complete hassle to deal with. Only reason i even bother with the inconvenience is because it's 2 streets away. Do not deal with them.
The pharmacy never has my prescription in stock and I’m waiting days if not a week for it. The customer service here is beyond disgusting! The wait, the level of professionalism, and the stores management needs to be evaluated. I’m surprised this store is even surviving. I will be taking my medications and business to Walgreens.
Countless visit to this location and there is always a problem. Their first option is always to turn the customer away. Customer service is horrible at this location. Be mindful because they’ll put your prescriptions on auto fill and refused to take them off preventing you from getting them filled elsewhere.
I had a really bad experience I had a coupon the cashier didn't accept it had an attitude said wasn't correct item when it was never going back if they don't like their job they shouldn't be there is really annoying to be treated that way worst cvs ever.
Extremely helpful staff and nice cashiers, that sometimes go out of their way to get you the low prices and save some money, lately some products in the medicine aisles have been out of stock but that’s pretty understandable since Covid and flu season.
CVS has excellent customer service and a plethora of goods for purchase. I go to the RX and they are always prompt and efficient. Sale items are available and I really enjoy the selection of food, chocolate, drinks, medications, and household goods.
The pharmacy closes super early on Sunday. Usually there is a long line for the cash register and they sometimes do something about this and sometimes they don't. Their photo service clerk is almost never there. The place is clean and organized.
From the moment I started using this place it was insufferable. They refused to keep my medication in stock month after month, making me wait sometimes four days if it was over a weekend. I travel to my old pharmacy, now. Forget this place.
Okay I went here to pick up a prescription On a Friday for someone .they told me it will take 30 minutes then I came back I went they told me another 20 minutes like i told why they wouldn’t explain like it’s very unprofessional.
We go here as a last resort. I don't understand how they can stay in business. Checkout lines are long and availability of products is spotty. One extra star for the helpful staff member who helped me look for a product.
People here need to be more efficient. I've been waiting in line for almost 20 minutes. I don't understand , they want your business but their service is terrible. People here need to smile and be more productive!
Waited 20 minutes on the phone to speak to someone in pharmacy and they never answered my call I know they were not close because I even call the front of the store to see if they could help but no
This is store it’s my favorite almost for 25 years! I feel welcome all the time, the store always look clean and organized, the workers are friendly and helpful, this CVS. Make great my neighborhood.
Best customer service. Friendly staff always say hi and remember me at my local cvs. Good coupons and sales. Pharmacy staff is quick to fill prescriptions. I love this location
I was racially profiled and heard them say behind my back for the security to keep an eye on me while I was looking at a HAND CREAM product in front of the security.
Love love love to shop at CVS ! Staff is always friendly and helpful and I. Am always find what I’m looking for . Plus I get lots of coupons and extra care bucks
I been coming there for over 10 years and I love the pharmacy staff. But like every other pharmacy they run out my meds. But they work hard to keep you posted. .
Their manager is really extremely helpful in answering all your questions but a male employee named Jimmy was rude & arrogant. All other employees are frirndly.
Pharmacy technicians have really dry attitudes . didn't have meds and didn't call another cvs to find them. Recommended driving too another cvs rather than call
This is the best CVS TO GO TOO!!! GREAT WITH FILLING ANY THING IN A FEW HOURS( 2-3)!!! …
Every time is the same situation, big lines, always missing prescription or they don't have the medication. Unprofessional personal with bad attitude.
9 am store is dirty. No one cleaned up last night. Carpet is awful. Sad, it gets great for traffic for business. The shelves have dirt on them also.
I tried to go to the restroom and it was very difficult to find it nobody in the store helped me to find it. Nobody knows where is the key.
The pharmacist's assistant who works on Wednesdays and Thursdays clearly does not want to be there, and does not do much to hide it.
Absolutely the worst pharmacy in the area. Orders are never completed on time. Staff moves at a glacial pace. Stay away if you can.
This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. ZERO stars! It took two weeks to fill a prescription! Unbelievably bad, bad, BAD!
Bad service with very poor management, drop off prescription on 9am to pick it up at 8 pm but wasn’t ready both prescription
Service always good and this location fully staffed. But why ask if you want a bag and you purchased a bottle of rum?
The new manager Jessica was friendly but this store only gets worse over time! Too many homeless people around
Please CORRECT your website information! Pharmacy hours show open till 10 PM ??? Its 6 PM already CLOSED!!!
I like it, never had any problems with staff, I like to just look around and find random things here.
Worst pharmacy ever ,since sharon their main pharmacist left a fewyears back its downhill from there
Very Rude people"A lady" Doctor or Pharmacist in charge One of the WORSE, Customer service SUCKS!!!
Cvs always have everything I need.its always clean and cashier's are super smart and friendly
La farmacia el peor servicio te dejan horas en el tel poco personal y algunas muy majaderas
Horrible experience at the pharmacy. Pharmacist didn't want to except good rx
They don't answer the phone really rude I keep calling til someone picks up
Tienda organizada y limpia. Cada semana cuenta con buenas ofertas.
Worst pharmacy ever. Always a wait on phone and I person.
