The only place that I dared try doing any regular shopping, during the time of COVID. This boy next to me had weird look on his face, like his age group isn't actually planning to typecast people, nor to suggest that those in a beeker eaker somehow knew about an eminent need to live and die together. When he'd gotten to Westwood, there wasn't even a sign of what he was doing with his life, or where life wouldwould lead him. Now he's been with CVS for over 15 years at the same company. Fabulous manager. The employees are all excellent. I can't think of one that I dislike, which is rare for a company. Several of the men work at the VA on alternating nights, and have been working on double shifts for at least the past 4 years. Pharmacy crew is excellent and that crew isis one of the main reasons, I believe, that people haven't gotten sick while traveling through gh the San Vicente store. The employees religiously keep diligent notes on what people, their regular customers, appreciate most. I think my grandfather, who was originally going to spend the night in Huntsville, might find find your demeanor funny at least, so they'd become less bored. I'm so sick of this format that gets repeated everywhere...where Google insists to me that I'm free...when I'm not. No, I cannot go anywhere that I wan't to go, because other employees continue to take unscheduled time off of work, or not show up, while falsely guaranteeing that they've come down with some other illness that bars them from picking up their pet pig or animal from the store's exterior garden. Most employees are quick witted, funny, carry beautiful smiles, and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. The crew at this location treats customers, basically, like family... a rarity for any chain store. Employees state that they're well taken care of, many of whom transferred into the company while being part of Long's Drugs, a chain that basically went out more than a decade ago...15 years. Employers kept all of the existing CVS employees and also tried to hire in the men and women whom had been part of the Long's family for so many years. Employees claim great benefits, decent pay and decent overtime pay. Customers themselves can be rude at this location - allowed to get away with unbecoming behavior on rare occasions, when treating staff. This is the best Location of the chain store, a, feline treated and returned to the wild, in a concrete jungle that's bound to garner the high end end skin cream that I didn't recognize but had Los Angeles residents in a tizzy. We, finally were able to track down the cat food so brand that arrived near September or November - so that our customers can use multiple products without any one product absorbing deeply into the homeowner@home last night. Now is time for a deep and beautiful, healing, sleep. This is the place to visit their garden, in sections; in addition to any drive you may back up on a regular basis. Wonderful store. Truly wonderful.
CVS Brentwood – Pharmacy of Last Resort Gets Even Worse – Bait and Switch on Flu Vaccine Last year, I had a battle with this pharmacy to get fresh gloves for a vaccine injection. I also had tried to get an RX filled, but could not make that happen. This year, I decided to give it one more shot. The waiting listing for the latest Covid shots was 1 – 2 weeks, so I went to a large warehouse store (Costco) on a walk-in basis. I wanted to wait 10 – 14 days to get the Sanofi Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent Flu vax and booked an appointment 10 days out. (Fun Fact: You can get both together, but most medical pros recommend a gap in case there is an adverse reaction so you know the source of the reaction.) I received a text reminder and text check-in. This year Grace Yun, the Pharmacy Manager, was administering the shots. I mentioned the problem last year with the gloves, and she said that the gloves were to protect her, not the patient, but agreed to change them for me. I VERIFIED THAT THE VAX WOULD BE SANOFI FLUZONE, AND SHE SAID THAT THEY RAN OUT, SO SHE WOULD BE USING ANOTHER BRAND. I PASSED. I asked her to check the out CVS’s, and the only one that had it was in Westwood. I called them, and they were out, also. I GUESS THEY DON”T BELIEVE IN INFORMED CONSENT (WHICH IS BASICALLY HONESTY AND INTEGRITY). I asked to speak to the store manager and Adrian Llamos, Operations Supervisor, walked back to the pharmacy and said that the store really doesn’t get involved in pharmacy issues and an investigation could takes weeks. I Googled the Sanofi and was able to do a walk-in at a major supermarket in Westwood (Ralphs), and it took less than 5 minutes plus 15 minutes of waiting for any adverse reactions. There were none. CVS Brentwood treats people poorly, fails to consistently follow standard health protocols, will do bait and switch on vaccines, and more, but, on a positive note, has adequate parking most of the time. PHARMACY OF LAST RESORT!!! TRANSACTIONS WILL TAKE LONGER AND BE MORE PAINFUL THAN NECESSARY!!! Pharmacy is too busy to deal with people both on the phone (and in person). My first call was on hold for over 20 minutes when the second call got through on another line to have them state they didn't receive the RX's. Trying to get to a person through their phone system is a monumental and challenging task!!!
This place is a dump. They steal your medication especially if it is ‘scheduled medication ‘ e.g. pain medication such as codeine, OxyContin, Tylenol-3 and 4, even Adderall and Valium and Ativan and then one of the Pharmacyst (happened to be Asian looking one) I forgot his name, is working in the evening, he gets into a fight with at least every 3rd Patient to the point that people are concerned about his behavior and patient’s plus his own safety. The management knows this and openly discourages the patients from ordering this kind of meds if it is not in the stock. Patients are handled like dirt, the staff are openly complaining and fighting with each other and with patients (there are of course exceptions) avoid this place if you have a choice (like going to a different CVS location, etc,.).
Absolutely the worse service. They are slow and disorganized. They never answer the phone when you call. I've watched them harass customers over medicine, and yelling matches over pain med with elderly customers and people any age using pain med, especially the new male pharmacist and the Asian guy. A woman I've seen for years barely standing with a walker who is elderly was yelled at one night when I was there by Serio/Serge (pharmacist). He was lying about her meds. I spoke with her later as I waited because he was so aggressive it was scary. She told me he does it to her all the time. I highly discourage use of this pharmacy as the pharmacists and others feel entitled to lie, and abuse the customer young or old, and they're always out of many meds of different kinds.
My pharmacy is closed due to the recent current events. I called this location to see if they had my medication in stock before having my prescription sent over by my doctor. The pharmacist refused to tell me and told me that my doctor will have to call and ask. I highly doubt my doctor has time during a pandemic to call pharmacies to see if they have meds in stock for each of her patients. I won’t be sending my prescription here because I also don’t have time to go to a store for an item they may or may not carry, that’s why I called ahead. Side note: I have called ahead to ensure a pharmacy has had my medication nearly every month for over 6 years. This is the first time I have been turned down. No big deal, I like Walgreens more :)
This is hands down the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever experienced. The pharmacists are consistently unhelpful and incredibly hostile. I have been waiting on a prescription for 4 months, and they say it’s “first come first serve” due to limited availability, but every time I call to ask about my prescription status I am told to stop calling and that I’ll get a notification when it’s ready. But it will not be ready unless I call them exactly when they get the medicine in and am the *first one* to call. Then they tell me to stop calling. They change the rules every day and don’t treat you like a person. don’t expect to get a word out on the phone with them, they’ll cut you off and put you on hold to not deal with you.
I was asked if I wanted to sign up for a service that costs $5.95 a month and I said NO THANK YOU but CVS hired someone with blood shot eyes who signed me up even though I said NO and CVS SCAMMED ME OUT OF CLOSE TO $60. NOT only are they DISHONEST, I was once given the WRONG PRESCRIPTION and I got EXTREMELY SICK. I am a CANCER / ORGAN TRANSPLANT PATIENT and this isn't the only incident with CVS. I HAVE A HANDICAPED PLACARD AND i GOT A TICKET FOR CLOSE TO $600 BECAUSE CVS PAINTED A DOUBLE IMAGE IN THE HANDICAPPED SPOT WHICH RESULTED IN MY GETTING A TICKET. i GOT A REFUND AFTER A LOT OF MY TIME WAS WASTED AND CVS NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED. i GUESS THEY WERE TOO BUSY SCAMMING PEOPLE FOR THEIR $5.95 A MONTH SERVICE TO NOTICE.
Good luck getting the pharmacy to pick up your call. After calling 6 times and being on hold 8-10 minutes each time, they only picked up once. The rest of the store is not great either. The vaccine station is crammed in a public corner next to a “beauty” station that seems to never be used, several items (like printer ink) are locked and there is no one around to help, and for passport photos you have to get in line to check out and the cashier will leave their register to take your photos. All of this feels even more chaotic because the store is always busy and the lines at checkout and at the pharmacy are always long. I’ve had much more pleasant experiences at other CVSs, including the one on Wilshire.
I used Curbside Pickup to get about $11 worth of chocolate. I get there, and then they tell me they don't have 1/3 of my order in stock, so I ask if I can replace it with something similar and they say no. Ten minutes after I have ALREADY LEFT, I get a text from their automated system saying I have the option to replace the item. The employee who said the item could not be replaced clearly gave me wrong information. Furthermore, I don't understand why they allowed the original order to even go through if one of the items was out of stock to begin with. I will never buy anything from this location again, just out of frustration and anger with this experience. What a waste of time.
I've been getting the same 4 prescriptions from this place forever and ever single time I go in they screw something up with them. They don't charge my insurance correctly and so they tell me my $25 dollar prescription will cost me $400. Then I call back and they say, no it cleared just fine I'm not sure who told you that. Then when I go back in they try to change me as if I didn't have insurance again. Whoever manages this place should be fired because they don't know how to run a tight ship. When it comes to people's prescriptions there is danger that mistakes could effect peoples health. This place does not seem to take that seriously.
Got a vaccine here, don’t recommend it. The pharmacist administering the shot was quick and professional but the facilities were so messy and haphazard. It’s in this dark corner of the store, where there’s a singular chair with a sign that reads Vaccine Waiting Area above it, and the pharmacist just squats to deliver your shot. Vaccine syringes and alcohol swabs were messily stuffed in boxes on a wheeled shelf cart, their biohazard disposal can just on the floor Whoever manages this CVS needs to seriously change the way vaccines are handled and administered here, these aren’t safe practices at all
I visited this pharmacy yesterday, May 15, 2023, around 03:15 PM. I do not live locally. I was visiting my daughter. I ran out of insulin needles for my pen. This visit was such a pleasant experience. Pharmacist, Grace, gave me warm welcome. She went out of her way to modify my computer data information so I get needles, covered by my insurance. This is classic example of 'going an extra mile.' Grace Demonstrated, clearly, outstanding Patient Care, Customer Service skills. I had timely and very pleasant visit. Thanks Grace. You are fabulous!
This is the absolute worst CVS I’ve ever dealt with. The pharmacy is what my review is about specifically. Incredibly understaffed, slow, and some of the pharmacists are very rude. I bring clients from a facility I work at to pick up meds and one pharmacist, David Kalina, is demeaning and acts as if he’s serving a junkie when they pick up a controlled substance. If He wanted to be a doctor he could have gone to medical school. Also, the wait times are so long that if you need meds ASAP definitely do not come here.
This is the most poorly run establishment I have ever been to. I waited an hour and a half for my prescription. The first person who was helping me walked out after I’d waited for 45 minutes and told me to “find someone else to help”. It took the rest of the disorganized mess of a team another 45 minutes to figure out what this guy had done and get me my prescription. Terrible customer service, terrible management. It was clear these people were frustrated with each other and how things operated.
Worked here for about 6 months as a first job. Now that I have actual working experience. This has to be BY FAR the worst job I could have ever chosen. Short staffed, attitude between co workers. Pharmacy and front store have no communication. Nabil the store manager is passive aggressive and I kid you not. Everyone hates him there (sorry past coworkers for snitching). You won't see me going there as a customer anytime soon LOL!
The point of a 24 hour pharmacy is exactly that: they are open 24 hours and available to people in need during late hours. This CVS is NOT A 24 hour location as almost every single night of the week the employees will have “sleepy time” and nap from around 2am-6am, leaving a sign on the door saying “system down store closed” or some variation. Hire employees that actually can work night shifts or change the hours please.
I think this may be the worst run CVS Pharmacy in the States. I've used several other locations and their phone call holding time is 1/5 of what you should expect here. Currently, I have been on hold for 30 minutes and still nobody has answered. Sometimes you call to fill a prescription, then the next day they will say it was never even registered into the system.
Literally been on the phone for over an hour while they pick up the phone and hang up every 5-10 minutes ...this place is an abysmal for customer service or care ,they try to argue with the patients rather than help them they treat customers like they are one step above dirt. The whole pharmacy needs to be replaced - JUST HORRIBLE !!!!!
If you get a prescription filled here, it will take forever for them fill it. I have to call and speak to someone (after being on hold for 30 minutes sometimes) and ask them to expedite it just to get it the same day. If you call to check on it, the time will keep being pushed back. This should NOT be the norm!
Was there for a pick up worth $23 on thanksgiving evening. They were out of stock for some items even though seemed available online. Had to roam around and find a cashier to pay for the items. Only one cashier lady, very rude & uninformed. I left very frustrated. Terrible customer service, terrible management.
They will not bag your items unless you buy a bag from them and even then, they usually don't bag your purchase. It's so inconvenient. Also they push your purchases towards you like they're just trash and you're the can. It makes me want to drive way out of my way just to avoid this terrible customer service.
my doctor placed a prescription, first they said that they were talking with the insurance. Then they erase the prescription without informing me, then i tried to reach them telephonically and the call center menu kept on giving me only covid vaccination options. cannot be worst even if they try hard
Great staff that provides amazing customer service, they go above and beyond to help out with questions on where to find products. Well stocked location. Also superb checkout procedure as well! My favorite CVS to shop at, definitely recommend this location.
This use to be a great place. Since store manager Brett Synicky left, this place has gone to hell. Brett was the greatest boss anyone could ever dream of working for. Nothing was impossible when he was in charge. Brett team 9325 miss you
Hanging up on customers when they are trying to confirm their prescription pick up time is Not right. You are not the only folks who are backed up with workload. You need to finish the conversation before hanging up on patient’s call.
This is one of the worst pharmacies I've ever been to. Specifically, Anais (sp. Anahees?) was the rudest and most unprofessional pharmacist I've interacted with. Go anywhere else. There's plenty of better pharmacies in the area.
They've repeatedly left me on hold for between 7 and 20 mins and then hung up. Other CVS stores have told me they're the only one nearby who has the medicine I need in stock. But they won't answer the phone. It's infuriating.
Came for a simple money order. It used to be a breeze at CVS prior to money gram being part of the process. The staff was clueless on how to help. Ended up being a waste of time and just went back to my bank.
Says 24 hour pharmacy but it's not. I go back the next day at 10 when they open at 7. They say they are working on it what were the doi g all morning? 1st and last time I ever walk in this cvs for anything.
came in here for a quick sec needing some last minute christmas lights. couldn't find the ones i was looking for and an employee helped me out and we were able to find them. at 50% too!
Terrible pharmacists. They are rude and treat people badly. How can they be working as health care providers? In addition, the majority are not knowledgeable at all.
El personal de farmacia muy pésimo el servicio que brindan como si a pedir fiado llegan las personas allí. Y nunca hay personal que te ayude a encontrar productos.
Business states that it is 24hours both online as well as on their building but they are certainly not open 24 hours. Incredibly inconvenient and misleading.
OMG, super bad service!!! Cashiers are very rude here! I think they don’t like their job. Specially middle eastern old lady with glass . …
It's a 24 hour store and it is 10 pm and Rosa will not let me use the restroom. Lame paid parking on back wall as well. Douchebags
The is is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Prices are very good. Thank you CVS for being open 24 hours day. …
I have called the pharmacy close to 20 times no one picks up ever including if you call the store to get to pharmacy.
Good luck trying to get your RX filled here, let alone to speak to a human being. Absolutely the worst of the worst.
The pharmacy is always helpful and friendly. And you have to love the zombie proof doors to the restrooms.
Nice and clean drug store. Most of the time, there is a long wait to check out and prescription pick up.
The staff is nice Parking is available And great items like Automotive Chemicals were in stock.
My favorite drugstore. Open 24hrs with just about everything, including friendly helpful staff.
4 stars before I even go in for being open 24 hours. Really that kind of defines convenience.
I have been very impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the pharmacy staff.
This location is understaffed, dirty, and has generally rude pharmacy staff.
It's just ok. Staff is helpful and nice, but the place makes you feel sad.
Just great location, lots of parking. And above all great service
terrible customer service at the pharmacy. hostile and mean staff
The staff looks like they hate their lives. Bad service
I don't care about the service. It's open 24 hours!
They do Pfizer vaccinations!! They do good service!
Matt Damon got behind me in line here. 5 stars.
People like Bryce make the world go 'round.
This place is awesome. Y'all are hating
Este lugar esta algo caro los productos
Rude and insulting pharmacy staff.
Nice staff and good selection.
