This place is a mess. Today I transferred my Rx's. I had written the CVS Home Office and they are conducting an investigation. After months, months, of dealing with this CVS, I received incessant automated calls. I couldn't cancel the calls without calling the corporate office. That's crazy. I couldn't control incoming calls to my own phone. Moreover, the Rx's were never ready as a group. Or I would go there and they would tell me I was not enrolled in a Part D program. I would call my Part D. provider and everything was great on their end. My premiums are automatic through Social Security, so I knew I was enrolledl. Language skills for some of the RPh's was ridiculous as well as their social skills. In the months I dealt with them, it was a constant hassle, and I mean constant hassle. I would specifiy 90 day supply . . . I would get there and they had only filled 30 days, but billed the Part D for 90 days. So when in frustration I would take the 30 day supply and then call in for a refill, Part D would decline it because according to their records I had a 90 day supply. It took me forever to get that straightened out. After my e-mail to CVS CEO, Merlo, I got a call from an Executive Resolutions person. At that time I had decided to transfer pharmacies. He was nice, but I told him we were done. He was really appalled at what I went through and apparently they are conducting an investigation and offered to share the results with me. I told him, "Thanks, but no thanks". I was done!
If you can, avoid the pharmacy. I actually never write bad reviews and I am a pretty patient person (I have 4 kids, 3 are boys) lol but this pharmacy is just horrible. My doctor sent in a perscription, they never called me or texted. I called them several time in a period of a week waiting on the line 20 min each time and hanging up because of too much wait. Finally left my name and phone with front desk of the cvs store but again they never called me. I finally got through , took them a second to process my order, it never was processed. Then came the pick up day and I drove with my sleeping baby and toddler. Drive through is closed and there is just no way I was going to drag them inside and waiting another 30 min (I did one time when went inside there). It's too much honestly. If you can avoid this place do it, its been a week and a half now and I still don't have my meds. So now I need to pick an evening where my kids are home with my husband so I can go there again and expect to spend a good 1 hour doing all this. Really sad. I don't expect exceptional service by no means but this is just redicuous. So if you are a mama or person that simply doesnt have time to spend hours on the phone and then waiting and on then stay away (:
If it were possible to give this pharmacy less than one star, I would! Hated it is not strong enough language. Despised, loathed it, thoroughly disgusted!! I finally had it with the horrendous customer service at the pharmacy. Calling the pharmacy and being put on hold for 20 minutes was typical, once with someone finally picking up phone, pressing 2 numbers and hanging up. More often than not prescriptions took longer-much longer than estimated, and the estimates were ridiculously long! The last straw for me was after enduring months of deteriorating customer service was their arbitrary change in policy about refill time on controlled drugs with no warning or consideration for Rx's that were filled within the timeline for this change in policy. No grandfathering existing Rx's that were affected. For anyone who has Rx's that are controlled, that can be a very nasty surprise. When you are counting on filling an Rx on a certain date and you find out you can't, it can do a little more than turn your day into a difficult one. I'm done with CVS! I had about 10 prescriptions there. I don't know if they even care about losing the business, the pharmacist sure didn't seem to care when I told her she would be getting a call from Walgreens.
The pharmacy is seemingly understaffed. I just got transferred over to this one & it’s been a nightmare the two times I’ve come. My script should have been on auto refill & I didn’t get it until 3 days later than I was supposed to. Tried calling several times last night & today & no on answers the phones. I’m wondering if they even care about that?? Actually come down to the pharmacy to see a large handful of people already waiting for their orders. I ask if they have mine ready & they say I’d have to wait an hour and a half for it because of the amount of scripts they have to fill. She asked if I needed it that night & I told her I actually needed it the night before & that I’m missing doses. I come back 2 hours later, 35 minutes before they close & there are 12 people in line waiting to pick up. Decided to wait yet another day & still had to see at least 8 people waiting around. I can see the problem but where’s the help in fixing it??
The people that work here are idiots. Every time I come here they tell me I have a one time only refill, which is not true. And every time I call my doctor and ask him about it and he says that makes no sense and they're wrong. Today I calles to get my prescription refilled, said it would take 15 minutes, and hour and a half later still nothing, so I called and they said there was no refill ordered and they couldnt figure out which prescription I need refilled even though I only have ONE. I will not be coming here anymore, the pharmacist are completely incompetant. Edit: It is now 3 weeks later, and guess what I got a text saying I can come pick up? Yep, my prescription that I ordered THREE WEEKS AGO. The prescription they said they couldn't refill because I didn't have any refills. Don't go to this pharmacy unless you're okay with it taking THREE WEEKS TO GET YOUR MEDS. This is so ridiculous I'm actually laughing out loud. Wow.
The pharmacy tries their best, the customers are demanding and unprepared, they expect to get ALL their medication filled whenever they remember they need their mediation. 90% of them are last minute people who can’t seen to figure out how to prepare for medications they claim they need to survive... its open from 8Am-9PM M-F 9AM-6 on Saturday and 10AM-6PM on Sunday that’s plenty of time to call PLAN AHEAD a few days before and not com in frantically panicking Because you don’t have any refills or your order can’t be filled as fast as you want because you took your last dose last night and and didn’t think to plan ahead and prepare for your next dose. You don’t understand what the staff at this location goes though; you want special treatment in a place that serves over 10,0000 people in a month? A place that fills 4-6 hundred prescriptions a day?
Store used to be great. Then I ordered delivery through the pharmacy on the phone. I confirmed the address with the man I spoke with. It was still sent to the wrong address. It took hours to get this resolved and he made sure to continue to make the point that it was my fault. Even though my profile even had the correct address on the website and I had successfully had medication delivered about a month or two prior to this. I wrote it off as a bad experience and decided to try again as I have a hard time getting around due to disability. I have now been on hold for over 15 minutes trying to figure out where my medication is as they charged me for it, sent no information, and when I try to order it online it wants to charge me again. Hate this CVS and will never use it again after I get this most recent screw up of theirs taken care of.
I will never return here. My doctor sent a new script to the pharmacy and they refused to fill it for 4 days, giving me a ridiculous excuse each time I called and asked about it, such as not being able to fill it because it didn't have refills even though I'd never filled it before or that the script was old (it was 1 day old). Finally they told me insurance didn't approve so I called insurance and they said they had approved it so they didn't understand the issue. Insurance called the pharmacy and demanded they fill the script so they did. When I went to pick it up, I had to request to speak to the pharmacist for an explanation of my new meds and he seemed annoyed that I was asking him to do his job. Overall, horrible service and I was not on the right medication for 4 days due to the incompetence of the pharmacy staff.
My prescription was sent in on 9/25. They said they had to order more. I call back 4 days later, and was on hold for over 2 hours, they never picked up. So I go to a different CVS and try to have it transferred there. They were put on hold for over an hour twice and never got ahold of them. So I go to a different pharmacy all together, and they never picked up for them either. So I finally had to have my doctor send all new prescriptions to the new pharmacy. I ended up being off my meds for almost a week. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever even heard of. I don't know what's going on but it needs to be fixed NOW, this is putting people's lives at risk. I would give them -5 stars if I could. Never ever get your prescriptions sent here.
First off I would like to say that the store is always nice it's just too bad the workers were not. Every time I walk into the store with or with out my 2 kids (10&6) 2 of the employees immediately will follow me around the whole time making me and even the kids very uncomfortable my daughter had even noticed that when we get there the same lady comes out and will just follow and watch us the whole time we shop I have noticed that she only does this to people of color. I have had other people say the same thing when they go there also that the same white lady employee and"the secret shopper" always and only follow them the whole time they shop. Im pretty sure she is discriminateing on us minorities
If there was an option to give no stars I would. I have been on hold for 1 hour-- no one has picked up the pharmacy phone for 1 entire hour. But lets start with the fact that I have a patient in pain....who came to see me yesterday....and I called in a prescription for him....YESTERDAY...and it was never filled by the pharmacy. So the patient calls me to say he never got it and he has now been in pain for 24 hours and I cannot get in touch with anyone in the pharmacy to get this medication called in. This is beyond absurd. People need their medications. I will never use this pharmacy and any patient of mine that requests we call in to this location I am going to have them select another location.
The pharmacy staff was great there they are helpful they answer any questions as needed and are prompt and courteous. But the staff of CVS up front in the building is in my opinion poor. I know they are in a rough area where there's a lot of homelessness and other disadvantaged people but me walking with a backpack they treated me like I was there to steal which was very uncomfortable and very rude I would recommend the pharmacy to anybody but if you're looking for everyday needs and you're carrying a backpack I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe the next time I enter then won't treat me like I'm there to steal from them or there to do them any wrong.
The pharmacy team really went above and beyond for me today in an unexpected way. I had been trying to get a prescription filled for the past few days, and because it of the nature of the medication it can only be filled at the pharmacy it is sent to. They were out of stock for a little while, but expected it to be in and ready for me today. Because of circumstances beyond their control, it didn't come in. When I came to pick it up, instead of turning me away, seeing how frustrated I was, they hunted down a location that had the medication, called my prescriber, and had a new script sent over so that I could pick it up this afternoon!
don’t think i’ve ever written a bad review in my life and the majority of employees here are great. but one cashier scrolls through their phone while customers are waiting. i wouldn’t say anything if it didn’t happen every single time i’m in this cashier’s line. tonight i needed medical supplies for a minor injury and it took me saying “the card machine hasn’t changed” about ten times for the cashier to hit the button on the computer. staring at their phone, with airpods in ears, whether it’s three hours or three minutes to close. i like the little candles they sell for my bathroom.
I was assisted, nay, SAVED — by Pharmacist Jessica today. There was a debacle with my insurance, because unbeknownst is to me my insurance coverage had been terminated. Jessica worked with me and found MULTIPLE solutions and options for me. I have never felt more patience and kindness from anyone at a pharmacy or at anywhere at that. Also! All of this was done while she assisted her coworkers with practically everything. She is extremely knowledgeable and I am truly thankful our paths crossed today. Thank you so much Jessica!
I've found myself stopping in here more and more often as I come to visit friends in this area. The store itself is clean and almost always has what I need for light grocery/toiletry shopping. I have never had to use the actual pharmacy but it always seems like a long wait when I am over on that side of the store. No public restroom is also a bummer, but not really a deal breaker for me. I've had mixed results interacting with the staff, seems like it may just depend on what day of the week I am there.
Just went to the drive through pharmacy and had some questions as there was an issue with my medication. The pharmacist at the window whipped off her headset in the middle of me talking so she couldn’t hear me anymore. The second pharmacist was much more professional. If you can’t handle yourself professionally when someone is asking questions about the medication that is vital to their livelihood, pick a different job. And it’s 2 hours before closing so it’s not like I was holding her up from leaving.
Prescriptions aren't filled when sent over by my doctor. When I call to try to ask them to fill the prescription in a timely manner, no one ever answers the phone. I've been on hold upwards of 1 hour before giving up. The only solution I've found is to go there in person and inquire about a prescription, and then wait 30-60 minutes for them to fill it then and there. Totally nonsensical that someone should have to do in order to get their medicine later than they actually need it.
I'll start by saying that the pharmacy staff here has always been very nice. This, however, is the worst pharmacy that I've ever had to deal with! They closed the drive through window and they are either understaffed or horribly managed. The wait time inside ranges anywhere from 10 mins to 30. My prescriptions in Sept took 4 visits to finally pickup; my Oct prescriptions only took 3 visits. I'm moving my prescriptions to the CVS in Uptown and am hoping for better service.
One of the worst pharmacies I've ever visited. I've been without a medication that cannot be missed because the effects that it has is detrimental when not taken and its been three days now. Calls are never answered and the hold time is over 30 minutes. Medication is never filled when requested. The lines are long as well as the wait and the staff are not competent. I will be changing pharmacies because this location is aweful.
Security guard was wearing his mask below his nose. One of the people working at the check out was wearing it on her chin. Add to that there was 2 people in the store using their shirt as a pretend mask only when people looked at them and dropping it when they thought no one was looking. 4 people spotted wearing masks that hospitals have banned for good reasons. And too many people to count with uncovered noses.
The worker Gerry is very disrespectful to old people! That’s really disgusting to have such a person like him works there . He asked me to leave the store and told me he doesn’t need my business after I asked for a refund when the cashier over charged me for my stuff knowing that I have a accent and that I am over 60 years old! I am so disappointed and I never recommend to go shop at that location at all!
The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They close at six, and I got in line right at 6pm, because I needed my medication for that night, as I was out. I take meds that are very important to my health, and the lady working behind the counter told me that they are closed. I could not have my medication last night because she didn't want to take the extra 1 minute to help me. So, screw them.
So I love the deals this week, but my cashier forgot to use a coupon so I lost out a 8.49 also he was to jittery that I forgot to give him another coupon so it cost me over 11.00 dollars! I swear when the supervisors or the manager rings me up I have no problem! Also i understand that this store has a high theft rate, but I am so mad that I lost a coupon their to boot it wasn't even used!
The people working here have the worst attitude all the time. They seem miserable. They made a whole line of us wait because they were observing someone new give shots. But their attitude is really what sucks. I feel bad for the new person training in. Just a bunch of crabby jerks…. If you hate your job and people so much, find a new career. Impossibly long wait times every time I go.
I made it thru the snow to get to the CVS, only to get a Sunday paper. So, I go inside...kinda of masking up..have it on my face.. Which is not mandated. So I get a Sunday paper and there is cheap perfume next to the paper rack. I just wanted to smell it. Wasn't going to spray the ickness. This manager tells me I wasn't allowed in the store. Long story short she was reported.
I would do less than one star if I could. My vet called them four times to refill a prescription for my dog and they kept saying there were no refills even though my vet had confirmed it with them. I was on hold for THIRTY MINUTES and they were unable to help me whatsoever. This is not the first time I have had issues with them. Absolutely INCOMPETENT.
I'm very impressed by the staff here's ability to handle bull. Lady in front of me was rude and trying to pull some sort of scam, despite getting screamed and cursed at the store associate was able to keep restrain and get the lady to leave. Very professional and very helpful with me when there was trouble picking up my photo order.
I've lived around the corner from this store for 2 years now and go to this CVS a lot for pure convenience. Very disappointing to see recently that they have called the police on people who are outside the building, yet do nothing to enforce the mask code on people who are actually inside the store. Make it make sense!
This particular location is decent. It helps me fulfill some of my cravings for pizza or coffee and they accept EBT. The lines at the pharmacy can be terrible and they seem to move very slow. (I have a lot of issues with the app and website as well, though I can't know if that's tied to this location in any way.)
A girl answered the phone with "Hello?" I had to ask if it was CVS. They should train staff how to answer a business phone with something like "Hello, CVS, this is younggirl, how can I help you?" Then couldn't answer a basic service question and had to get transferred to a manager. He was fine, so 2 stars.
Terrell in the pharmacy is so great. I've paid out of pocket for a script multiple times at other CVS and this was the first time someone offered to find me a discount I didn't even know was available! He spent a few minutes on the phone with me and went out of his way, all while seeming happy to do so.
Terrible over the phone service from the pharmacy. Was on hold for 15 minutes, twice (I called back after my phone ended my first session on hold). The pharmacist was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. I will happily drive to any other pharmacies in the city if they can provide better service.
I left and went somewhere else. The door by the parking lot was locked! Sign said I would have to walk to the corner inorder to get in. Just never mind! I went somewhere else. Good for people riding the bus I guess. But not handicapped or low mobility people that drive. …
Staff are ok prices are alot I was gonna get a 12 pack of mountain dew but it was $10.30!! I recommend getting your soda pop elsewhere... Otherwise store has ok variety and a pharmacy to. Don't forget to sign up with cvs rewards it gives u a discount and it's worth it!
The staff always have good intentions but sometimes it seems like the busiest store in Minneapolis, wait times can be a bit long and there’s always about 4-5 people waiting for prescriptions when I walk in. Overall if you have patience they will satisfy your needs.
I have always been greeted with a smile from every team member at this locale. The pharmacists have always answered my questions & have assisted me with any further queries. I highly recommend this particular CVS due to the courteous staff members & great attitude!
Despite the negetive reviews i have read, my last CVS experience here was great! Special shout out to LAURIELL! SO FRIENDLY, very efficient, and has a name very close to my own- Laurel. Thank you for all of your help and kind words while I was in pain.
I went in to get a prescription my doctor sent to this place on my request because it was close to home. My employer recently changed prescription insurance companies, so CVS of course needed the updated information. I asked if they had the
I’ve stopped by in person three times this week (after receiving multiple texts saying my meds were ready) and they didn’t have my prescriptions filled. It’s now day five of trying to get my medications and I’ve been on hold on the phone
In general I've had terrible experiences as a CVS customer. The Caremark/CVS (it's one corporation) strategy is to force the Caremark insurance customers to use the CVS pharmacy or face steep price hikes. So "frills" like the customer
The pharmacy was unable to give me my second Shingrix vaccination. Said they were supposed to have a technician but nobody showed up. They were unable to give me any alternate option, other than “try another pharmacy.” This is not
Very condescending towards immigrants that struggle with English. They’re located in a diverse community but treat people in a very low manner. Some of the Workers have a big attitude and disrespectful to customers.
Kind enough staff. Navigating the dudes outside the door can be a trip but inside is good for quick food, or essentials. Haven't used the Pharmacy, but it is always busy. "Do you have your CVS card?"
Pretty good place to get last minute things. Also, watch the prices of the OTC drugs & other typical pharmacy items. Often Cub & Target are cheaper by $$s. They have good seasonal sales, though.
The pharmacy hours (9am-7pm) at this location are extremely limited. CVS definitely does the least to meet customer needs, this one is no exception.
They do not carry bacon. I chose to not check dates on anything but when I see dairy coolers that look like that... it's suspicious.
my favorite CVS pharmacy. TERRELL at the pharmacy was a huge help. He went out of his way to try and
I enjoyed my time shopping at CVS please keep up the good work
