Non-existent store management at this CVS store 241 West 57th Street, and a dishonest and DANGEROUS employee named "Khin", who while Southeast Asian, likes to follow non white customers around the near empty store while they shop on Saturday evening around 8pm. I live in the neighborhood and go to CVS all the time. I popped into this one after doing the majority of my shopping at Whole Foods Columbus Circle nearby. After my mom noticed that the employee, who had no work to do ( she was just standing around shaking keys), was following us from aisle to aisle as we shopped, I asked her why she was doing so and to please stop. She ignored my request and continued following me ( but not any of the white customers). As I do when witnessing dangerous and illegal behavior, I took out my phone and began to record, capturing what she was doing. The common sense-lacking employee became unhinged when she realized I recorded her illegal behavior with my cell phone. She followed me to the checkout line even after I asked her multiple times to please stay away from me. The CVS employee "Khin" sought to instigate an altercation, creating a hostile and unsafe environment. When she realized I had caught her on video behaving in a way that would have CVS sued for harassment because of their horrible employee, she as an unstable person with no work to do, upped the ante, and ran up to me at the checkout line to announce she was calling the police to punish me for recording her harassment- and did. The 911 dispatcher, upon hearing that she was calling to try and weaponize them to back up her poor and illegal behavior which I had recorded, declined to be used in that way. "Khin's" CVS training at this store seems to have told her she can be disrespectful and hostile to non white customers at-will, and there would be no consequence. Realizing I was recording and would report her behavior, she began yelling to the few customers and other employees, that I was recording her for no reason. No staff employees told her to stop her erratic behavior, so she continued. When I finished checking out my purchase from the cashier, the unstable CVS employee "Khin" raced behind me with her cellphone to record my back. What a nut! No management has told her that her name tag has the words "customer service" laminated on it- or they have not explained what those words mean. CVS at 241 West 57th Street, you have failed at proper management and customer service with this individual and the individuals who lacked the ability to stop her highly inappropriate, annoying and disrespectful behavior. So many employees, so few customers, and one employee doing no work- just creating chaos and drama with paying customers. Management must be begging for a lawsuit by telling this irresponsible employee to behave so irresponsibly! FAILURE OF MANAGEMENT CVS 241 West 57th St. NY NY 10019
This is a horrible store! I work around the corner At FEDEX i never have any problems and i love coming here i also use to work at CVS when i was younger. I asked the cashier if there were any of the 36 cent caramel candy available. The cashier told me that it was in the aisle right next to the line. I proceeded to go over there but u didn’t have any so another team member proceeded to look for it. I decided i would get another candy because all i needed was cash back. While looking for the candy myself a white older white lady demanded that i hurry up and I’m wasting everyone’s time and proceeded to get rude with me. I ignored her and told her she just have to wait. The manager SAIJAD proceeded to tell me that i was wasting everyone’s time and they will now service the lady that was rude to me. I told him that isn’t fair i didn’t even take 5 minutes looking for the candy. He told me he doesn’t care and that’s how it is and i can leave. I’m a little taken aback by this because this does not follow the IHEART model which i know is part of your brand. It’s very unfortunate that you lost a customer and i will be telling my coworkers about my experience. I have to be rushed because it’s a long line and only one cashier? There’s no one at the ACOs helping customers and that’s my fault as a customer? I feel like because i was a black woman and she was an older white lady who wanted to be serviced soon as possible that she was better accommodated than myself. I did not like this situation at all not only did he choose the white elder lady side but he was also very rude and would not hear my side of the story. I guess if your young and blk downtown you’re a non factor because it isn’t the same demographic.
Sunday, sept 24, 2022 6-630pm. Worst customer service ever!! I had to push the assistance button 4 times for 4 different items and had to wait extremely long each time. Why isn't there a designated person for this sole job only?? Then I had to wait in the pharmacy line forever with 8 people in line and 1 register open. Seriously?? The CSR was more concerned/upset about working thru the plexiglass to ring up my items and didn't give me a receipt. When I ask for one, he can't give it to me. He writes down my name and the register number and tells me to ask downstairs. I have to wait in line again for a receipt. The CSR can't do the job and now I have to wait on a mgr. The black female mgr with glasses and braids acted as if I did something wrong and was wasting her time. She kept asking me questions my receipts would tell me that obviously I didn't have. After another 5-10 mins, she returns with the receipt hands it to me while speaking with the cashier in another topic and walks away. No courtesy or confirmation the receipt was correct or mine. So now I've encountered a total of 7 CVS employees on one trip with half that don't know what they are doing, don't care and have no customer service skills/qualities. No need to ask for a manager, because she is in the same category. This is unacceptable & ridiculous. CVS you should be ashamed! Do better, be better!
This has been long due. Avoid going to this store at all costs. I met with an accident at this store, because of the careless attitude of certain store employees who push large objects in out of the front door. During one such event in September 2022, a bunch of heavy totes that were overloaded on a kart, fell on me and injured both my legs. I was dizzy and blinded for a moment and screamed in pain. No one from the store came to help except two kind female customers who came to my rescue, and checked my legs. They tried their best to pacify me with ice packs and water. The only thing I was voluntarily offered by the staff was Advil. Later my friend came and took me home. After the incident I was left with severe hematomas on both my legs and till date the knee pain continues to bother me. The bruises are still visible. I am thankful to God that I am alive and there were no broken bones. So far CVS has not taken any corrective actions. I was indisposed for months snd struggled to go to work. A compensation has been long due, it’s been months now. I am seriously fed up and upset with this. I would recommend customers to go to Walgreens across the street that is less busy and more caring.
This CVS became convenient for me because it's on my way to work.... its location is also great because of all the public transportation is near to.... Now shopping at this location is another story....while this CVS location is big with 2 floors, nice and clean.... This particular store location lacks employees with good customer service skills.... If you're looking to purchase your items with credit card, you simply go to the self checkout Registers and it's a breeze...If you're looking to pay cash then it becomes a different situation.... There is someone at the register most of the times but when you get to the register the service is not the best...multiple conversations are going on at the register between Employees some business related, some personal...The employees at this store constantly try to direct you to self checkout so they don't have to deal with you.... the customer service skills at this location is lacking and stale.... But overall I shop here simply because of convenience
The pharmacy at this location is such a headache. Their staff has so much attitude for people who are incompetent. Every single prescription that was sent there has issues. They can never pull up my profile, the girl there created 4 different profiles for me, which created a lot of problems later when I picked my meds. When they did find me, they were not able to apply my insurance. Instead of hearing me when I told them it was not accurate, they yelled at me saying that my insurance wasn’t paying for my meds, as if they knew better. I’ve been taking the same meds for 10 years and it’s always been covered, my insurance didn’t change either. Instead of looking into the issue they just disregarded it. I called another CVS down the street and got my meds in 5 minutes, covered by my insurance and without any problem. They should really look into who they hire, these meds are vital for my condition and they turned me away without even looking into anything.
Pharmacy at this location is horrible. My doctor has prescribed me a branded medication but these guys are keep on delivering the generic brand. On there request my doctor has sent the updated prescription multiple time for the branded medication but they’re guys are keep on declining that prescription. I have even reported the side effect of the generic brand but these guys doesn’t care. My insurance has also confirmed that if the pharmacy will send the request for branded medication insurance will have no objection, but no response. They are so horrible that they are not ready to release the prescription to transfer to another pharmacy. Avoid using this pharmacy at any cost if you can any to get the right medication. After 3 months of multiple follow up I finally gave up and now finally forced to pay another visit to another doctor and get the new prescription for another pharmacy.
The Pharmacy is extremely understaffed. I have been there numerous times when the line is 10 ppl deep. This morning, when I called, the auto-answer music went on for over 9 mins before someone picked up. She put me back on hold as soon as I replied, I would like to get a prescription refill, please. She came back on 4 mins later. When I said, Yes, you put me on hold again, and I need a prescription refill. She said, "well, it's really, really, really busy here, and there are 6 people in line ahead of you. I'm only answering the phone to try to help. If you don't want to wait, I don't know what to tell you." Seriously? THIS is customer service these days? It's not like I can't take my business elsewhere. I'm very sorry that she is so obviously overwhelmed. CVS needs to put more people on, so that their employees can act like decent human beings to others.
This place doesn't deserve even one star! Went a month ago to fill prescription and they didn't have it ready, then 30min later said they couldn't fill it that day. I made the mistake of going back a month later (today) for my next refill and, after my doctor had sent the prescription three days earlier, told me they couldn't fill it because I didn't live in zip code 10019 (I live five blocks away from this place!). Apparently, they are in trouble with the DEA and that's the rule now...could they bother to call me? Nope. How about an email? Nope. Just had to walk down in a blizzard, be told no luck and now I have to call my doctor (it's a weekend!) and get him to send to another pharmacy. I lost an entire week of my meds. These guys are SOOO BAD. They deserve to be put out of business and save the rest of us a lot of trouble.
The worst pharmacy ever. They told me for a week straight my prescription is "in process," and whenever I called, they said they were "still working on it." But when I finally inquired about what the holdup is, they couldn't give me a straight answer. I spoke to 3 separate people over 3 days and was given a completely different evasive reason each time, but was ultimately still told I just need to wait. Finally, I get fed up and just come in person and wait in line for 30 minutes to speak to someone, but then they say that the item is on back order so they don't stock it anymore. Awful! 0 communication about this. Can you imagine if I just kept waiting like they told me to? I was already very late taking my dose and felt sick as a result. I will never use CVS ever again. This is one of several awful experiences
I like this location. The service is consistent and the greeters are always cheerful and upbeat. They add a nice touch when you enter and exit the location. They offer a wide range of products, many of which are on sale. They also have a lot of employees around for assistance without making it feel like you're being harassed. The beauty section is also great and the workers there are friendly and helpful. They do not lock up beauty items. Everything is on display and looks great. There's a large selection and knowledgeable staff. They offer self check out kiosks which are perfect when you're in a rush. They also offer an atm which is convenient. And they have an elevator and escalators for easy access to the second floor. I like it and will continue to visit this location.
Pharmacy staff was rude and wildly incompetent. Tried to get (and eventually got) a flu shot here. Multiple staff members couldn't figure out my (standard) Blue Cross insurance card. Then they claimed that my insurance was expired. I called CVS customer service while in the store, and they were able to figure everything out (the customer service person told me that all the information they needed was in the computer system that the pharmacy staff has access to). I've never felt so mistreated in a medical setting in my life. I understand that this location primarily acts as a store for tourists, but if you're going to provide medical services, the quality of that service needs to be greatly improved. Ironically, too, multiple members of the staff were not wearing masks.
I just spoke to a pharmacist (claims her name is Kheisa) today who provided me with inaccurate information 1) She stated my prescription was not received 2) I called my doctor and they informed me it was sent on January 4, 2023 3) I called the pharmacy back and spoke to the same woman Kheisa who claims I have 2 profiles (incorrect and she found the prescription) 4) The antibiotic was not covered by my insurance and costs $2500 5) I informed her that there should be a discount card and she said Ok, and the discount she provided was $5.00 off the $2500 6. I buy retin-a for cosmetic purposes- brand name that cost $500 and pay $80 This pharmacy location has the worst service- specially this pharmacist I encountered today.
I came in here with a friend to buy some Benadryl because my allergies. As I am in here; I noticed a former colleague from Rite Aid. Her first name starts with a 'J'. (I don't want to say too much detail, you will eventually figure it out upon looking;) is the type of person that you have to watch out for. She will be in your face and then talk bad about you 5 seconds after you walk away. She calls out with an excuse, and then expects people to do her shift after doing 8 hours of theirs. Rite Aid couldn't handle her; so that's when she reached out to now CVS DM JPaul to get her a job. She is useless, hopefully the store manager figures that out.
I asked a representative where would I find toothpaste. She said that the toothpaste was behind on the aisle. When I came to the aisle, there was nobody there. I rang the bell that you have there. O proceeded to rang the bell that was there, since I could not get to the toothpastes. The same representative came in and told was rude and confrontational about me ringing the bell. She was threatening and a manager had to intervine. However, it didn't end there. When I went to pay, there was a coupon for $8.49. The same lady refused to ran her card. I ended up paying at another register for the tooth pastes and it appeared as if I used the coupon.
After just checking into my hotel from a late flight, I realized I forgot Lysol spray and wipes. Came here at 1am & was told the upstairs “could not be secured” by a manager so it was closed. You could only shop downstairs which had nothing I walked blocks to get. It was even suggested I go to another CVS blocks away which infuriated me! BUT I’m So grateful for the assistance from Holly who truly went above and beyond to help me in this store. She made a horrible experience, negative 1 star review, end amazingly. Future notes - if you’re a 24 hour store, the ENTIRE store should be 24 hours. Or just close.
I went to the optical center for the first time, and what an amazing experience. The doctor and staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Even when the lens in my new glasses fell out after 2 days, I was simply told, come back in and we'll take care of it. A few days later my new glasses arrived, and they still weren't to my liking. The staff worked with me until I found a pair that worked. FANTASTIC customer service, and I will continue to be a loyal customer. I'd like to mention Yonathan by name, because he helped me immensely. A great team of professionals working there.
If you aren’t yet an AARP member, the good news is the pharmacy will make you wait so long on the phone for someone to answer that by the time they do you will be old enough to join and maybe get a discount. If you don’t want to have to call, too bad, because the CVS app, which resembles AOL circa 1998, will force you to since it doesn’t communicate simple issues that may prevent you from getting a prescription and therefore forces you to call and linger in their kafka-esque phone purgatory. I totally regret moving my medications here and it’s time to look elsewhere.
Donald who works nights is an absolute professional. super polite and helpful. there's also a woman working days (don't remember her name) who was able to work with me to make sure i was able to get all my medication despite me always putting things off to the last minute. and the staff that i work with when i'm just picking up (as opposed to any pharmacist) are always very friendly. always feel like the pharmacists are working against extreme odds (understaffed) to fill my prescriptions while the phone is ringing off the hook and i'm really grateful to all of them
The pharmacy itself is okay, but the delivery service is unreliable. I had a prescription that I very much needed refilled. At around noon, after I got a text message saying it was ready for pick-up, I selected the delivery option online. I got a confirming text message that said it would be delivered between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. the same day. When it didn't show up, I called, and it was still sitting at the pharmacy. If they're going to advertise s delivery service, they need to get their act together!
This is a large and busy CVS location with two floors. It seems purposely understaffed at the registers trying to force customers to the self service machines. The pharmacy area registers are also short staffed with lines forming at busy times. The store cannot control the temperature on their two floors with the upper floor very warm and the street floor chilly. They have a full make-up section with many choices as well as a good size grocery area. Generally well stocked. Employees are friendly
I was charged 4 times for the purchase of the photo magnets. Initial 3 charges went through in Google pay but staff did not believe it. I had to walk all the way back to the hotel to get cash, and now the 3 charges are reflected in my credit card statement. I am very displeased with the service and the errors made by the staff, they do not seem too keen to provide a service, and it has cost me time and now trouble in the credit card statement. How can CVS do a service recovery on this matter?
This is not a 24 hour store. Although they state that only the pharmacy is closed at night that is misleading the entire 2nd floor is closed at night which means you have no access to band-aid's, Soap toilet paper tampons et cetera. The only thing the store is good for late at nightIt's candy and snacks And drinks. Most likely not the items you're looking for late at night at a pharmacy. False advertising If you ask me
My family and I just had the worst customer service ever, don’t waste your time going to this store. Employees were clearly lacking proper training and they were all afraid to go to their manager who my husband ended up asking to talk to. Kim, the manager on duty, was very rude and she didn’t even came out to talk to us. If as a customer we were treated like that, I feel really sorry for the employees who works there!
I’ve never reviewed a CVS before, but this CVS should definitely be higher than 3 stars. I live nearby and it’s my go-to. I find there’s typically a staff member at the front door to greet me and answer questions, it’s well-staffed overall and the Pharmacists at the Pharmacy are attentive and care to help in whatever way they can. They do need to have Annie’s Mac & Cheese in stock though, they’re always out!
Here, pharmacy staff and pharmacist do not their job. I have three prescriptions, they only give me one on the day. A week later, send me a message saying “the second medication is covered by insurance. “. And then the third one, they never mentioned it even though they have held my prescription for 10 days! Negligence here. I won’t go back to this pharmacy. By the way, always long line to pick up.
This store use to be great, but is now a disaster area. Dirty, broken displays, EVERYTHING is locked up. Toothbrushes? Locked. Body wash? Locked up. Ice tea? LOCKED. Be prepared to find an employ to escort you around the store (if you can find one). A manager was busy berating an older woman saying he was sick of people and to "get out" and "not to come here anymore". He saw me and stopped.
Popped in for some quick passport photos. It was really busy, but each employee I passed smiled and asked if I needed any help. Once I got to the photo section I waved down Mina who was kind enough to take on the challenge of not making my passport photo look like a mug shot. He was extremely patient and took several photos until one was actually okay. He deserves a gold medal, thanks Mina!
This CVS is always neat and orderly which I like there is always a greeter at the door when you enter which is a nice personable touch it allows you to ask right away where things are located instead of having to roam around looking for someone to assist you. I particularly like the beauty section they have a wide variety of products for all ethnicities which is a plus for me.
Pharmacist is extremely rude. They filled my prescription incorrectly and would not correct THEIR mistake at first since I was passed the two week window. I had to argue to get my correct prescription and she threaten me that she would never do this again and this was my fault. Maybe if they gave me the correct prescription in the first place, we wouldn’t be in this situation.
This Pharmacy is always overcrowded with tourists, you CANNOT get any Controlled Substances filled unless you live in the zip code (10019), when I received this information (which should be posted out front, or at least on the Prescribers e-script platform) it was too late and had to go to the ER (I suffer from seizures). Make sure you have the right pertinent information!!!
Not sure how this place is even a pharmacy. They are so unwilling to help it’s unbelievable. They do not fill prescriptions when they’re called in from the hospital and they refuse to answer the phone. They’ll ask you to hold then after waiting 20 minutes you will be hung up on. I’ve repeated this cycle 4x now and still have not received help. Avoid at all costs…
worst CVS ever. everything is out of stock. rude security guard who is ghetto and doesn't stop real crime, but will harass paying customers. physically aggressive, and I had to call the cops to buy deordorant and the cops sided with me and apprehended the "security guard". honestly this place is a mess, do yourself a favor and go across the street to Duane Reade.
More than just a pharmacy, this is. There are many other interesting goods available. Especially dietary supplements and various cosmetics. Some of them are discounted to half prices by buy1 get 1 free and many member benefits(registration to be a member available at counter for free). The staff is lovely and extremely helpful, and the location is excellent.
horrible experience, visited for my scheduled flu shot, counter asked how I am going to pay before asking my name or saying hi. Insurance please, I say, handed my card. A few mins later he said it was denied. I said it's on file with another CVS, takes my card back 40 mins later and gives it back with no comment. They were not busy, just grumpy.
I love that this CVS features a 24/7 pharmacy. My only dislike is that it feels like I’m walking into an armored facility and I need to hold my hands up high by the amount of security present. I suppose the total wages paid to the asset protection team is less than their annual shrinkage sum for there to be such a large visual security team.
This is a brand new CVS store. There is a large variety of items, pharmaceutical, personal needs, household items, party items, and food items. There is a good selection of greeting cards. When CVS has a sale, you could get a good bargain. The staff was friendly. Although, I only had interaction with the cashier. I would go back.
Nasty horrible woman who answered my pharmacy call 22 minutes of waiting. I needed my epilepsy medication transferred to another CVS pharmacy closer to me. This woman said to call the other store and refused to help get in contact with the other pharmacy because CVS pharmacy never answers calls and complain there too busy.
I love this place. Nice, new building, great selection, a Minute Clinic right by the pharmacy and most importantly, great service. The pharmacists are really friendly, and I've never waited more than ten minutes for my prescription. Oh, and you can walk around the store or go outside, and they'll text you when it's ready.
The drugstore, the most important part of the store, closes entirely for lunch from 1:30-2:00!! Why not have 2 shifts where at least people can pick up their prescriptions or drop them off. This is a huge store and it makes no sense to literally shut down with a gate and all for 30 minute! They have multiple employees.
The CVS Pharmacy on 57th Street near Columbus Circle had exceptional customer service. A special thank you to the young man who was so kind to everyone who was on line this evening, and the pharmacist who was caring and very informative while I was receiving my shots. This is the only CVS I will patronize!!
Save for one pharmacist and one of the pharmacy assistants, most of the people at the pharmacy are incompetent. The amount of coordinating and time it takes to sort out prescriptions is ridiculous. In terms of the store, I have nothing bad to say, but I'd recommend filling prescriptions elsewhere.
Purchased a Visa gift card today, got it home and it was not activated. Brought it back to the store after calling Visa, who recommended doing so. Was told nothing they could do even though they produced the transaction receipt showing we purchased it. Terrible manager…. Terrible incident … awful
Very good prices for the area. Nice and clean, consistently good service, efficiently run and a pleasant experience. If you are not used to New York, it will not feel like a typical CVS, but it’s not supposed to be. It’s consistently cheaper and better for most products than nearby Duane Reades.
If you’re looking for a CVS with long wait times and lackluster service, then this is the place for you. If not, you should go to another location. Even getting some detergent requires finding someone to unlock the cabinet to get to them as if they were $1000 bottles of the finest wines.
Probably the best CVS around as it has a MinuteClinic inside. It's 2 floors of stuff. It also seems like there never any items out of stock. I love the fact that there are so many self-checkouts (I'm a fan). The employees really go out of their way to greet you and to help you.
alexander, cashier number 2148753 at store 10298 at 241 west 57th st, manhattan, ny 10019 was extremely helpful. polite, knowledgeable, and held our bags behind the counter after we finished our purchase when we realized we had forgotten to get something we needed. promote him!
Pharmacy lines are out of control. Picking up a prescription can take 3 hours. Even if you pre pay to pick up you still have to wait in a very slow line. Very crowded with a lot of people waiting I expect to get sick after being here 2 days in a row. Will never come back.
i stopped here to get coconut water and my life suddenly changed thanks to the staff. wow, just one smile or hug can make a huge difference at this day in age. i want to thank you angel, andy and jeremy for your outstanding customer service!!!! all my love to you all!!!!
A bit rude. I came in the afternoon and did a bit of shopping. I asked if there was bathroom I could use. No was the answer, no bathrooms here. I walked back to my office and on returning, walked right past what I saw was clearly men's and ladies rooms. Why do that?
Amidst this bipolar weather earlier this morning, i drenched in rain but found comfort to this beautiful but amazing customer service from this CVS employee, Deisy Nelufa. Like a Sun on a rainy, cloudy day! We need more people like her! :) Keep it up Deisy!
Do not even try to call this pharmacy, you will be left on hold for a very long long time!! I waited so long that I didn’t even care about my medication anymore, I just wanted someone to pickup so that I could let out my frustration’s on them.
My experience with this Cvs was extremely uncomfortable. As soon as my friend and I got upstairs security was literally in every aisle starring me down. Even as we reached the escalator to head back down stairs he leaned over to watch us.
THIS PHARMACY STAFF IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST. They are by far the rudest bunch of humans I’ve ever encountered. They refused to give me sudafed and Flonase from behind the counter without a script. Even though legally they’re supposed to
The CVS at 57th & 8th Ave. is conveniently located. The store is often out of stock of essentials from cleaning products to paper products to pantry items. I am glad they keep popular or potentially harmful items on locked cases, but it
Physicians don't bother with this store or CVS in general. They will not accept phoned in prescriptions. So if you are away from a computer and can't e prescribe they refuse to even check their messages. Happening at other CVSs as well.
Beware if you use cvs you will receive constant automated phone calls from there computer. I have tried repeatedly to get the calls to stop but they still persist. None of my perceptions are refillable but yet I still receive calls 4-5
Go to any other CVS except this one for your vaccine. Despite making an appointment weeks in advance we had to wait for 45 minutes. They apparently scheduled at least 5 people for one time slot with one person administering vaccines.
I always call the pharmacy to make sure my meds are ready so i don't waste my time and they NEVER ANSWER, or they pick up and hang up and i have to call back 10 times. its RIDDICULOUS!! than i go there and the pharmacy isn't busy.
Kim the manager on Duty is the rudest person I ever talked to. After waiting for 20 minutes to be helped, she called me a liar. Even my 7 year old daughter was scared of her attitude. Don't waste your time or money on this store.
Here buying a snack and a drink at 11PM and everything is under lock and key. It took the one person working the floor 8 minutes to come over. At that rate, you’ll lose more money from lost sales than you will from stolen candy.
Absolutely the worst pharmacy. The staff is incompetent and impatient. They mess up prescriptions and then have the audacity to get short with customers when their incompetence led to long lines. Happened every time I was there
The pharmacy staff are professional and proficient in their job. My prescriptions were filled quickly. I also had to call in and transfer a prescription and the staff were most helpful. I'll be back! It's a beautiful store!!
The website doesn’t say the pharmacy closes for lunch. I reached at 1.31 pm and they refused all pleas to accommodate me even though I was obviously very sick. Total lack of compassion is what best describes this pharmacy.
Yes it is 24 hours, but night shift only rude workers are here, when you ask for help don’t expect to be helped. Specially there is a black guy with glasses in second floor, he’s there just to show how rude people are.
Aaron is fantastic, at 11pm he was at the top of his game, coming up with creative solutions and juggling multiple customers. No one wants to be waiting for a prescription at 11 but Aaron made it as smooth as possible.
Shopping at CVS is always a great experience because CVS carries a great variety of products, customer service is exceptionally good and the stores are always kept on top form to make customers enjoy their visits.
I know the pharmacy can get busy, but I call different hours of the day, and I can't get through the pharmacy to check if my prescription is ready. It's really bad! Some people don't live near by to go and check.
Almost everything in this store is at least 50% marked up, even by midtown standards. There’s a Duane Reade and Whole Foods a block away that don’t charge ridiculous prices for things as generic as Oreos.
I always enjoy going to CVS. From Canada so its great to find the little things i cant get there. Like the layout as well. Employees at the NYC location by central park are great.
Get some new renovation. Have a person or a pager buzzer next to where you lock up basics. Teach more customer service etiquette to your management at cashiers.
Everything is difficult to find around this CVS. The workers were helpful, though many items are behind locks that need a worker to take the item out for you.
Great store if your looking for that hard-to-find Skincare or Cosmetic product, as the second floor has a wide selection and brands to choose from.
costumer service on the store The customer service staff firts floor on Saturday mornings don't help at all when you tell them you need something.
Picking up a prescription here is a new level of hell. They’re very short staffed / disorganized so except to wait hours (no seriously, hours).
horrible service the workers here are incompetent and can’t even use the photo machine , unless you won’t need any help don’t waste your time !
Great CVS in a very convenient location. The staff is very friendly and you can find the intensity of Takis here delivered every week!
The employees at the CVS on 8th Ave and 57th are very helpful and courteous! It is the best chain drug store in the neighborhood.
Customer service is great. This store is clean and has a wide range of products. It is also located in a good convenient area.
This place stinks. Pharmacy line an hour, never seen such slow and inefficient processing. Avoid at all costs.
One of the worst pharmacies, extremely poor customer service! Unprofessional, I would not recommend
Pharmacy staff DOES NOT answer the phone 9 a.m. Why have a callback number if no one will answer.
Mary Le saved my life we were missing a ingredient at my restaurant she found it for me.
We don't have a camera? At the passport photo place? Ok thanks for your help I guess
You'll wait over an hour for your medications and no one will care.
Pharmacy is way understaffed, but Staff was very helpful and kind.
Very easy to find products I look for and price always reasonable
Always a great experience. Sunjida is always helpful.
Rude Abd never answer their pharmacy line
