"As soon as I took my first sip I knew I found my first go-to coffee spot here in pdx"
"Igor the owner is so nice and the coffee is amazing!! He makes all of his syrups in house and you can tell ❤️❤️❤️ I had an oat milk late with the cardamon rose syrup and it was delicious! Opening at 7am is a great benefit as well! Some other things to be aware of - Pastries on the top shelf are gluten free and vegan - also available are pastries from Dos Hermanos! The beans are roasted locally and sourced from South America and Central America

"Probably the best cafe in Sellwood"
"Best coffee shop in Sellwood, hands down"
"A fabulous and worthy successor to the prior occupants of this space"
As soon as I took my first sip I knew I found my first go-to coffee spot here in pdx. I moved here for work and drink a lot of coffee, so there have been many options to choose from in the city! Many places choose to sell a darker and milder flavored roast espresso so it goes well with many different syrups and drinks. However, I prefer espresso that is either/both lighter and bright or flavorful, which definitely can hard to both pull & find! That first sip was like, “Oh my gosh, I’ve found it!” I was on the go during my first purchase, but if I hadn’t been in such a hurry I would have gone back and bought beans. Cincosiete is definitely one if you’re looking for somewhere to take your friends who are really into coffee/friends who are baristas.

Probably the best cafe in Sellwood. Great coffee and the people are really nice. Get a cappuccino when you check it out. So good. It disturbs me that people still go to Starbucks when there is good coffee in the neighborhood.

Best coffee shop in Sellwood, hands down. I love the Latin American pastries and vibe. The coffee is excellent; not too acidic, not watered down, and smooth. The interior is small, but there is also outside seating. However I love sitting inside because it’s intimate and you get to interact with people. One of the cashiers is hilarious and I have a great time talking to them.

A fabulous and worthy successor to the prior occupants of this space. Igor serves expertly made drinks from Columbian beans. Have visited twice and particularly enjoyed the drip and the conversation. Has the pleasant atmosphere of a small corner space and old school service, the latter being a rare experience in the city these days. Plenty of pastries to boot, including vegan and gluten free. Definitely check it out.

Fantastic coffee place and best of all, they show that they care for their customers just as much as their coffee, which is rare nowadays. I ordered two coffees, a latte with their rose cardamom (house made) and a cappuccino. Both were fantastic and are a great value for a artisan coffee. Such a great addition to our neighborhood!

Really great coffee and service! Def not a step down from either/or (which was a huge relief)! The pastries maybe need some fine tuning- I tried the blueberry lemon muffin and millionaire bar and both were gritty and underwhelming. I’ve had some amazing vegan options from petunias and other pdx places so I know there are awesome options out there if the intent is to provide vegan options. Missing the either/or ginger sandwich cookies!
Even at a peak time (right before 9 am) every one working was so kind, personable, and attentive to what they were doing. The coffee is so, so good. I went with an Americano to cut down on wait time and the espresso was so flavorful without any bitterness at all, definitely didn’t need anything added to it! Such a great spot to have in the neighborhood.

The most aesthetically pleasing little café in south Portland. The drinks were AMAZING with the housemade syrups and it was a wonderful spot to chill and do some crossword with a friend. The staff, the drinks, the pasteries, all very good. I will be coming again very soon!

They have a good variety of coffee and pastries. I personally really liked the mocha! Customer service is also top tier, you feel welcomed and can definitely tell that the owner has a passion for making coffee. As someone else commented, the space is not too big but you can't really blame a small business for not getting a bigger space.

Friendly staff, coffee was great because they use authentic beans and don't use automatic espresso machines. Realistically it doesn't take under 2 minutes to make a good Mocha, Starbucks and other establishments make quick work with sugars and other BS ingredients. Really good tasting coffee and pastries.

Comfortable cozy atmosphere, excellent quick service, and amazing drinks and pastries. My hot drink was served in a glass, but it didn't affect the experience. A new go-to whenever I'm in this part of town.

Great, really cute coffee shop that would be the perfect spot to meet a friend to chat. I had a cardamom rose latte and it was mixed to perfection. This is one of those places were the espresso is so good you can order a cappuccino straight. Will visit again!

Good coffee, small coffee shop. I took off one star since they only have 4 tables and it’s gets cramped when they have many customers at once but the service is good, lattes are excellent, and their syrups are made in house. I wouldn’t recommend this as a place to hangout but more for grab and go!
Best coffee shop in Sellwood and isn’t even close! Homemade syrups are all so tasty and the service is very friendly. Lots of Gluten Free items available which is nice.

Delicious coffee, lovely vibe. I tried the chocolate orange syrup and it wasn’t so sweet that it overpowered the flavor of the bean, which I really appreciate. Staff was friendly and kind, 10/10 would recommend.

The person who helped us was so polite! I didn’t know what I wanted and he took the time to make something off menu and delicious - orange and chocolate mocha! Our drinks were very good, will be returning!
So excited to have this place in the neighborhood!! Amazing coffee and a great variety of pastries, they even have gluten free options!! Highly recommend trying the Mocha here, it’s amazing!! …
You gotta try their oatmilk cappuccino with one of their seasonal house made syrups. I tried Panelita. I think I just died and went to heaven.

One of the best ice coffees in town. Great place to stop by on a Saturday afternoon after a visit to the record store. :-)
