Spargos in Prospect- not sure why google changes the name… I’m not usually one to complain… but… Service was extremely poor. Staff did not even look up to say hello when we got to the desk to order. (Basic customer service “hi- sorry I’ll be right with you ☺️“)… Then I needed to repeat my order multiple time as she did not understand what I wanted even though it was a simple one word request for something that was in the display cabinet. It took 40 minutes + to get a coffee and cake- and the coffee order was wrong . My husbands meal came out first and it was a hot meal? (There was only 5 tables in the whole cafe). Other customers also appeared to be waiting and upset about the service. One girl was doing all the service by herself- very slowly at that, whilst the only other guy was wondering around aimlessly and rearranging shelves instead of helping. Tips: always say hello when someone walks in- let them know you may be a minute -have one person running food and the other making coffees. -hire a barista that can make coffees quicker- happier clients that will probably go for a second coffee and make you more $$ ? - staff training on prioritising/managing orders. If there are 5 lattes all with full cream milk- make them all together!! Save time! Etc etc With that said, once the drinks/food did come out it was very nice- hence the 2 stars. The food is the only thing saving this review.
We have been customers of Cena for many years, sipping coffee or having a glass of wine in the afternoon sun. Perfect place to go & enjoy a lazy lunch or early dinner. We were there today for a wine & an early dinner. We had hallumi with flat bread with a piece of lemon. Was a nice start...with our bubbles. With the sun sinking in the west, hubby ordered osso buco with polenta & I ordered veal scaloppine with an onion, mushrooms & spinach wine sauce with vegetables. We haven't been to Cena in a while to have dinner so we we're looking forward to it....out it came steaming hot, yum! My vegetables were delicious, the mushroom wine sauce delicious but unfortunately the veal was tough as leather, over-cooked & horrible. I couldn't eat it at all and left it on my plate. Hubby's osso buco was riddled with fat & gristle & tasteless. It sat on the polenta & was flavourless. We were so disappointed - beautiful atmosphere but spoilt by food we couldn't eat. When I went to pay I told the owner how disappointed I was with the veal & he apologised & took the total amount off the bill, $26.90, so I was pleased that he recognised how disappointed we were. We will continue to go there for coffee & a wine but will have 2nd thoughts about going there for a meal.
Sorry guys, you put a downer on the Father’s Day brunch my children organised for me. Only 3 of the 4 meals delivered, the last coming just as everyone finished. None of our hot drinks delivered untill we after we finished our meals, even though we kept asking. Not even a water on the table. The explanation that two staff called in unable to work helps to explain the issue, but for us it’s just an excuse for poor service. We would not have minded waiting longer to receive all our meals together. It’s no fun, as a group, to have one person without a meal while we have no choice but to eat because the food is getting cold. We would not have minded waiting if our drinks order was delivered (2 pots of tea & a coffee) first up. Warm drinks would have helped warm us up, since the heater was “broken” & the breeze chilly. Maybe having a process in place, such as - 1) get drinks out first up. 2) if food is very delayed, talk to customers & offer/take another drink order. 3) serve all meals together. If one or more meals will be delayed, keep others warm in kitchen allowing for serving timing to catch up. Hope this review helps you guys, maybe putting a system in place. Good luck with the future.
My friend and I usually come here for coffee and a light meal and we're unsure now why we keep coming back. The service is average, today I sat outside waiting for my friend with my dog and no one came to see if I needed a menu/wanted to order anything for atleast 15 mins. I was given menus but no one came back to check if I needed anything while waiting for my friend. We finally got served and we ordered coffee, garlic bread and wedges. No one came to check once we had our meals if everything was okay or if we needed anything. The garlic bread was okay but it used to be a lot nicer on the Turkish bread and the portion sizes are usually bigger than what we got today. The wedges were really disappointing as we were charged $10.90 for a tiny little bowl of really crappy quality wedges, we felt really dissatisfied with the quality of both the food and the service today and were probably going to find somewhere with better service and food quality as there are many places around prospect and North Adelaide that are of a much higher standard. Sorry but I wouldn't waste my time or money again here.
After growing up going to 'Cafe Cena' with my family, I was really disappointed to witness such a significant decline in the customer service, quality of food and general atmosphere. The wait staff were generally unfriendly and unhelpful. Our coffees were brought out one at a time (with 5 or so minutes in between). The coffees were weak and not of barista quality i.e. I ordered a latte and they brought me a cappuccino. About 10 minutes after ordering our meals, we were advised that the meal we ordered was unavailable. They offered us tofu as they were out of haloumi, which we declined. We ended up getting the smashed avocado on toast and we were so disappointed. The eggs were cold and the meal was generally lacking in flavour. No feta cheese was provided and the toast was undercooked and doughy. We weren't provided with cutlery and when we asked, a knife and fork were placed on our plates (straight on top of the avocado!). Very disappointing.

So I went to this place back when it first opened and it was fine. Been away for years but recently moved back and thought I will try these guys again. WHAT A MISTAKE! $40 for two takeaway coffees and breakfast sandwiches wasn't the best start. But after waiting 54 minutes for this to be prepared (the restaurant was only half full ), followed by having to convince the waiting staff that the coffees were cold and needed replacing. The coffees were replaced and we got on the road 30+ minutes later than we had hoped to. My wife had a "Thick" cut toasted sandwich (I'd love to see thin cut as thick cut was about 4mm thick at the best and 2mm on average) My focaccia was meant to be bacon egg and chorizo but I could only taste the brown sauce that it had been drowned in and to top it off the sandwich was cold. Credit where it is due - the coffee was probably the best I have had on prospect rd.
First thing i noticed was the dirty, sticky table. Asked for it to be cleaned and after it was still sticky and the dirt had just been smeared. Pizza crust in the main walkway stayed there the entire time we were there and the whole shop was drenched in the hot sun. Ordered garlic bread, it was cheap on the marg and you couldnt taste the garlic . It was badly burnt and badly made. Ordered dinner, the chicken schnitzel tasted like it grew on a lemon tree, couldnt taste the chicken at all. It was, again, badly burnt and it couldnt be cut with a knife and it hurt my mouth to try and chew it. It had burnt parmasen cheese and was inedible. Reordered dinner, i figured they couldnt ruin pizza too badly. WRONG. Again badly burnt with cold aoli sauce all over it drowning out all other flavours. By this stage i gave up, took my pizza home to the dogs and had toast.
This is the second time visiting this cafe being a local we support locals.was here a couple of weeks back with my friends. The food was average back then so was the service. We saw the previous waitress sitting in the table next to us & eating & being on video call. Was not appropriate at all. With a lot of hesitation we came with family on Tuesday around 10.30 to give this place another chance, the food was excellent & the service was brilliant. We received our drinks cutlery & food within 15 mins. Inspite of having another 5 tables & only two staff. The new staff is a great choice. Keep up the good work.

so disappointing! we ordered a schiacciata prosciutto as an entree and it was so poor and bad in quality! nothing compared to what it was before! the prosciutto was dry and so tiny that we even had pizza pieces with 1 TINY slice! The Parmesan was like fake! they didn't use the flakes they used to do, instead they used one that was like a powder and it was terrible in taste and appearance! and just to finish, we counted 10 SMALL leaves of rocket for the whole pizza bread. I don't understand what happened to the place. It's understandable if costs have to be reduces but not that BAD and NOTICEABLE! I paid $17 dollars for a piece of nothing. Thanks God I didn't order anything else after.
Came here for dinner a couple of nights back, ordered the roast chicken focaccia and the calabrese spaghetti. They ran out of focaccia and asked if they could do it in a burger form, which I didn't mind and that was the best option. (When you order one if you do ask them to make it a burger form, you won't regret it). The pasta was decent but they put the cheese on for you and I am a lover of cheese with my pasta so having cheese on the table would have been a better option. I'll come back again but mainly for the roast chicken

What a bummer. Booked for my Birthday. On arrival, I was quite surprised by lack of patrons,as booking is required. Gourmet Breakfast and coffee, coffee arrrived in a small Togo cup. On inquiry was informed it was busy when I ordered, no time to serve in a cup.25 minute wait for a COLD breakfast. Pancakes are not good cold. On complaint they offered me a second serve! Worst thing, NOT something else on the menu we can get you. Nope, bad luck. If they were busy in anyway could understand, place was dead. I see why now, total waste of time and money And don’t ask for tobasco, they bring you whorstshire sauce! It’s a bar! How do you make a Bloody Mary?
*Horrible* customer service. My party of 6 was treated okay in the beginning, until we realized the pasta dish my mother and I ordered to share was cold. We were served the black bowl of pasta, and used the 2 smaller plates to divide it between us. After politely letting the waitress know the meal was cold (and it was obvious we were the only ones not eating), she said nothing and removed the black bowl with the small amount of pasta left. A few minutes later, she comes back having CLEARLY microwaved that lone portion of pasta, literally drops it in the center of the table and walks away, SAYING NOTHING. We will not be returning.
I called to ask if I could take the breakfast we booked via the Groupon tool as I was not comfortable eating there with all this virus thing going on. The person answering was very unhelpful saying I should Read the terms even when I explained the situation of having 2 kids and was ready to pay for the take away containers. He also said "if you are scared of getting the virus you should not even come to pick up the order and to cancel it with Groupon'. How rude owner of Spargo, it is a national issue and you need to accommodate the request on special circumstances and ask your staff to be polite in these situations.
Didnt realise under new management for a few months. Nobody else in restaurant but us for breaky. Used to be a great breaky and I always got eggs benny, soft poached eggs, ham, spinach, hollandaise on buttered toast and was yummo. Now have different menu and have eggs benny with bacon. No butter on toast, eggs overcooked, bacon well overcooked with some burnt ends so ask for a steak knife!! OJ tasted weird so left 90%of food and half the OJ. Explains the lack of regulars as menu changed and food cooked poorly. We will not be back again

Upon arrival it was very quite and not many people were there, one lady said hi with her head down wasn’t very welcoming. We asked the lady for our seat and she was quite confused. We ordered our food and and got some garlic bread and it was average, we then got served our food and it looked amazing, except the pasta sauce was from a jar and didn’t taste very good. My mother got the pasta Tuscany and she got food poisoning from it, it tasted amazing but after a few mins after eating she went straight to the bathroom because she didn’t feel well. Overall we won’t be going there in a rush again.
This cafe is at the same location where 'Caffè Cena' used to be. The name is different and the staff too don't seem to be a carry over from the previous establishment. Just had a regular café latte and visited the place to catch up with an old acquaintance. You place your order and pay for it at the front counter. The coffee arrived quickly. At the time there were quite a few tables occupied by customers having breakfast and as time passed it started getting busier. Nice quiet place to have a coffee and catch up with friends or business associates on Prospect Road.
When I first moved to the area, I walked past and saw such lovely meals being eaten by people on the pleasant outdoor verandah. We decided that it was worth a shot, and that first meal got me hooked ! I am a regular here now and it is always exceptional ! Fantastic fresh food, friendly and attentive waiters and waitresses, great coffee... And don't get me started on the great range of cakes ! Breakfast, lunch, dinner... they're always there for a quick meal or a get together with friends. We never leave hungry. Value and quality. By far the best in Prospect. 5 stars *****
Very poor - 9.30am on a sunny Saturday morning a few weeks out of Xmas only 8 people in the place. Ordered fried eggs and bacon and a mug of flat white. Coffee was scalding hot, even after I had finished what I could of my breakfast, I had only drunk a third as it was still too hot (flavour and creaminess was good though). Eggs were over done, and half of the eggs must have got left stuck to the fry pan - really bad. The bacon was tough as. Presentation was poor. All the rocket and greenery etc in the world wasn’t going to fix this. Didn’t expect this in Prospect.
Food was good quality and the prices were very reasonable but I can't give it higher than 3 stars. Although the chef was fabulous, the waitress was hopeless, maybe new? Didn't know what my order was when I asked verbally so I had to point to it on a menu, couldn't understand when our friend told her he had a severe allergy to an ingredient she needed to check with the kitchen- we needed to make her go and ask, then when it came out it had the ingredient in the side salad! I would still come back, hopefully with a bit more training the staff can improve.
Met at the Cafe for a business breakfast at 8am which is the advertised opening time. Staff were late opening this happens. Waitress opened store made our coffees and when we asked about food we were told that the chef will be there in 30 minutes!! He arrived 40 minutes after opening then walked out the door to walk down the road to get bread from Coles for another 10 minutes. No apologies no acknowledgement. Not a problem, no return for me. I find it outstanding that a number of people use the carpark and walk across the road to Cibo for their coffee.
Very long wait when cafe was almost empty except for a couple of table of two people that were finishing up or just having coffee. Food finally came out in batches after a good 45 mins and was bland. Watery mushrooms, bacon super salty, bread barely toasted. One of those experiences were you leave very disappointed and feel ripped off. Noteworthy that there was a “new management” sign on window but they have a lot to learn. No apology for the long delay either.

Mediocre & basic but expensive food. It was nearly empty at lunchtime on a saturday! Either the menu needs an overhaul or they need to hire a cook who is versed in italian food. Some of the cutlery we got was dirty. Lastly; I don’t say this lightly or to be mean - Both staff had terrible BO. Not a little sweaty, just literally a pungent cloud. So much that my partner, who can barely smell anything since covid, could tell. It was very off putting.

Ordered take away in two separate occasions. Months apart. First Time we ordered 3 mains (2 risotto and a main). When we got home we realised one of the risotto they've given us was wrong. Tonight we ordered salt and pepper squid and shashlik. Shashlik literally had 5 small pieces of meat and small amounts of onions and capsicums. Accompanied by Pita. Was supposed to come with Salads, but was missing from both squid and shashlik. It's a shame as the food actually tastes decent.
Came here for dinner and ordered cheesy nachos, Atlantic salmon and fish, chips n gravy. The nachos were good but not much could go wrong as it was corn chips and topped with salsa. The Atlantic salmon was very average and lacked flavour. The fish chips n gravy was absolutely disappointing the fish was drowning in oil (you honestly could have cooked another fish in the amount of oil dripping from each piece). Would not recommend service was also a long wait
This is a little hidden gem! We found this amazing cafe on the entertainment app and had brunch a couple of weeks ago. We actually got there as soon as the lunch menu started, but the kind chef whipped us two beautiful dishes from the breakfast menu. We really appreciate the gesture. Overall amazing experience, Definitely recommend dropping by and trying their Nonnas breakfast bruschetta, it actually tastes like a home cooked meal by my nonna! ❤❤❤
I wasn't a fan of this place. Took a ridiculous amount of time to get my food. I waited about 5 minutes after everyone else for my food, which I dont understand why. I ordered something simple. Coffee took a while as well bevauee they were making one and delivering it and only then starting the next but it was nice. Won't be back in a hurry.

Went there yesterday just after midday for a quick bite to eat. Wanted 2 poached eggs with toast, some raisin toast and a smoothie. All up about $30. Was told they could not take our order as breakfast service finished at 11:30am. Didn’t realise poached eggs and smoothies were just breakfast food. Suffice to say we walked out and went a few metres down the road where they were happy to take our order. Won’t be back.
Really wasn't a great experience for us. I am only giving 2 stars because my partner's meal was ok but mine was pretty bad and I only ate about a quarter of it. We both had pasta meals and I have never had such a bad pasta meal in my life. Needless to say, we won't be rushing back there. The staff were nice and friendly and I had a nice glass of wine which helped save the experience somewhat. Wouldn't recommend it
We had garlic bread and two pasta dishes. The dishes looked nice when they came out, but couldn't keep what they promised. While the garlic bread was pleasant (though nothing special) that's where the positives ended. My pasta dish was okay, not bad but not good either. My partner's penne sauce had a nasty aftertaste, unfortunately. We may have just gone there on a bad day, but we won't be rushing back.
oh my god ! absolutely amazing experience from the day this placed opened, i have been here multiple times with many different staff workers working and all of them are so nice and respectful and treat you with amazing hospitality and service . amazing food . amazing people. amazing all together & peter , you absolute legend , great customer service! keep up the good work guys ! so proud to support you
We really enjoyed our experience at Caffe Cena! The food was excellent and so was the sevice!Nothing was too much for them! They served the children first and the adult meals were served quickly and with a smile by.the lovely staff! When they brought out my daughters cake they had gone to so much trouble to present it beautifully. All this without extra chsrge! Thank you for a great night guys!
Food was great. Staff was not very friendly. Ordered an affogato and fbe franjelico was not served. The blonde waitress was very rude when i asked her to being it out. And to top it off, my wife ordered a shiraz which hadn't come out in 20 mins. The blonde waitress was also not at all apologetic and reluctantly and rudely bought the wine out. Her attitude was so bad i will not go back there.
Took the family here when Prospect hosted the TDU party. Absolutely first class. Staff indulged my kids, meals were some of the best we had eaten. Ate there again this week and had exactly the same experience. First class meals, kids indulged and happy. An excellent venue. only thing that could be improved would be having a couple of options of craft beer available. We will be back. :)
Decent pastas - tasted great, pasta al dente, not stingy with prawns Pizza bases thin & crispy Breakfasts foods excellent (forgot photo) Schnitzel burger very oily brioche (?plus butter) & fridge cold salads added caused the whole dish to be cold Overall, will come again.

Terrible service! My partner and I called ahead to make a phone booking for groupon begore purchase. We were told it was all good, just pop in, they had plwnty of tables. Only to be turned away less than ten minutes later when we arrived because we didnt have an online booking. The man who spoke with us was incredibly rude and unapologetic. They can shove their groupon voucher
For my friends birthday we waited too long for pancakes, bacon & eggs which were served cold. My friend's coffee for sit down breakfast was served in a SMALL take out ie paper cup - apparently the waitress "was busy" when the coffee was ordered - go figure??? If this "Big Birthday Breakfast" is remembered it will be for all the wrong reasons
Terrible! Changed the chef and changed the soul. Using Fake parmesan, bad prosciutto quality. Clearly the owner wanted to reduce extremely cost, destroying the business. Doing businesses is simple. Losing customers is really easy, gain them back...not so much. If you don't be believe me compare the Shiacciata on the photo or what It was 6 months ago ago.
I had the worst egg Benedict ever. I think they just use the same ingredients to put in different breakfast, my partner had another breakfast also use same type of bread and spinach. I expect they use English muffin and the spinach soaked inside the bread with the sauce taste wrong. And the egg the way they cook not right either. I think I won’t be back.
Unfortunately the seafood wasn’t very fresh in the pasta and pizza. The waitress assured us the squid is grilled but it was served battered. The squid is so smelly that we left the whole plate after mouthful each. Wrong food was sent to our table as the waitress key in the wrong order. There were only 2 tables but the food took 30 mins to arrive....
Love this restaurant and enjoyed tea I had a pasta dish cooked to perfection hubby had a pepperoni pizza cooked to perfection again delicious food and definitely recommend eating her and they have lots of great specials and a all you can eat $26.00 ❤

This place is just a wonderful totally satisfying dining experience. It should be listed at the top of the list of best dining in Prospect. The menu was varied and in a low range of prices. All of the choices at our table were delicious. The American Pork Spare Ribs were scrumptious. Service is great. What a lovely place to celebrate a birthday.
Went there hoping we could get the Groupon deal but even though it was dead not a soul in there they refused to do the deal for cash and refused to give us food if we paid via Groupon even though their Groupon add wouldn't let us make a same day booking. Clearly they don't want to make money. Is it any wonder when it's not authentic Italian?
This was a busy cafe and now it is dead. We ordered a lamination that came out as a rock. Very hard. We all ordered small latte coffee and 1 was right. The other 2 were half coffee and half froth. Hardly a mouth full. Will not visit this place again

Unfortunately I have had coffee and food here several times now hoping the quality would improve because I like the place. The location is great. Unfortunately the coffee is hit or miss and the food is not good at all. Every meal I have had here has left me wishing I drove a bit further to North Adelaide. Sorry, but this is no Cena.
picturre 1 is today take away 2 served garlic prawns, original price is $26.9 per dish, got ordered from eatclub, 40%off the price ($16.14), only 6 prawns in one dish, picture 2 is other people post on google, looks like 10 prawns inside, the question is after the eatclub price discount , the food quantity will have discount too!
Spargos cafe - bar at Prospect is on the corner of Prospect Rd + Fflora Tce. Ample parking in front of this store or on the side street. This is a modern style building with large windows and an outside terrace in front of it that allows inside or outside dining or to have a business meeting over coffee. Fast efficient service.
Just had exactly the same experience as the lady below this comment. Called up ahead of time to make sure it would be ok to use the group on only to be aggressively tolled 10 minuetes later that we wouldn't be able to use it. I can understand miss understands but the waiter was awful, we walked out feeling terrible.
Ist time @ this delightful eatery! So impressed xclnt menu, food was fresh & top quality, outstanding service, every detail covered in our dining experience. Open all day, such a blessing for Adelaide suburbs as that is hard 2 find especially on a Sunday. Great local wines on a perfect list & reasonable prices!
Ordered kids meal, Apple Juice came in a very dirty bottle and a nice little bug inside. bottle being dirty I sort of understand dish washer don't always do the job but how did the BUG get in there? Anyway all we got was sorry we'll get you a new one. Imagine I didn't check my kid's food. felt disgusted.
Excellent breakfast. I had the smashed avocado and poached eggs and my friend at Nonna's breakfast, full of vegetables and eggs. For $26 via Groupon we got the two main meals (breakfasts) and a hot drink each Food was tasty and healthy and cooked well. Service was quick. A very popular and busy place
Excellent customer service, the food was pretty decent and tasted delicious. The coffee is a must try. the girl was a champ and was handling all the tables and takeaways with no delay. worth the try. very happy customer definitely coming back.

One of the pizzas were undercooked, the general flavour was absolutely average - I'd rate dominoes higher. Ordered two types of pasta, both came the same. Service was extremely slow. Have been twice now, and both times were quite underwhelming. Won't be returning. Points for the atmosphere.
Absolutely loved this place. I was Greeted from a beautiful Italian girl that had a lovely smile in which during my time there I noticed she greeted everyone with the same kindness , the food was fantastic I had the pollo zingerella which was mouth watering definitely recommended …
Food was ok but the service was lousy had to chase the waitress three times to find out where our orders were and remind them what we ordered definitely will not be coming back in a rush Ask to see the manager but he refused to come out customer service should be a minus not one star
I’ve been here several times since this new restaurant opened in the old Cafe Cena location. We have had an excellent experience at Cafe Buondi each time. It has a great vibe to it. The staff and owners and very friendly. Food is awesome and well priced. I highly recommend it.
Food was poor. Italian food which was not cooked in a traditional manner and wasn't tasty. Garlic prawns were swimming in a bowl of sauce - more like a soup. Staff knowledge of food and drinks menu was very poor resulting in wrong meals being ordered. Not recommended at all.
Had a delicious bacon mushroom cabonara 16/10/22. Seriously the best tasting cabonara i have had in S.A. With fantastic friendly service and reasonable prices.. Delicious.

Stuffed up our order and offered no apology, no refund, nothing. Manager didn't even come to phone and we could hear them in background. When you stuff up someone's order and they get less than what they pay for you can't just say "too bad" and expect to keep customers.
Delicious yet just a few pork ribs (literally just 4). Not the kind of dish that will order if you're starving. The pasta with Prawns & Chorizo was 5 Prawns and I couldn't find the chorizo.

Good food and friendly service. Not too busy for a Sunday brunch. We had a booking for 11.30 which is when they finish the breakfast menu but were accommodating when I ordered raisin toast for my 16 month old. We will go again and try one of their Specials nights.
Not a bad experience. Personally I thought it was a little pricey for what it was but a tasty feed non the less. The lass that served us was very polite and friendly and very helpful. Service was prompt too. Reasonable parking out front of the cafe also. …
Went for breaky because my wife was craving pancakes. They were packet pancakes, and arrived at the table stale and cold. I expected homemade at a cafe. I don’t want to recommend order pancakes. Other food is so so, hot drinks were fine, service was good.
Came in for dinner with my partner. Awesome quality of service, was served as soon as we arrived. Given a table and our drinks immediatly. Food was delicious and lovely staff. Loved it. Must try the pasta ! Will definitely be returning in the near future
The coffee was excellent, the cake was lovely and the venue was very pleasant. We sat out on the veranda and enjoyed a most enjoyable half hour. I would fully recommend this cafe to anybody visiting the Prospect area and I will certainly be returning.
Really great omelette and excellent coffee. The staff were lovely and accomodating, and there was some delicious looking cakes and deserts in their display fridge (probably not great for dieters). Loved it, a no-nonsense spot to drop in for breakfast.
What a beautiful experience! Perfect tasting food with wonderful and warming staff. I felt so welcome and was treated with utmost respect. Enjoyed my food and credit to the barista for an outstanding coffee! Will definitely be back again next week :)

Dirty tables, ours and most others inside. We were the only ones there, around 4:30pm, tables not cleared all around us. Sticky when we sat down. Poor service, food was average at best. This place used to be awesome, many years ago... disappointing
I was immediately concerned there was NO ONE in this place, like not one person, in a peak time of breakfast/coffee. Now I know why…….food DISGUSTING, I had pancakes that were like bricks and just tasted vile. I’m sure they’ve been taken
The staff member who greeted us gave a very welcoming vibe. The food was delecious and fresh. Portions sizes were just perfect. The restaurant was nice and clean. Will definetly visit again, great job guys, keep up the good work.
Great Food and very extensive menu. Pasta I had was awesome. My partner had burger hun was burnt and fries could be cooked bit more overall food was nice. Customer service and friendless was missing with staff.
Food was good, servings are generous. Coffee and juices are great. Offering indoor & outdoor seating. Gets very loud indoor even when not full, so feel like you have to yell at each other at the dining table.
The pasta is fantastic, and chef is very friendly and always happy to tailor the foods to your needs, my comfort place to visit ☺️

Great little breakfast with 'super' friendly service. The smashed avo was quite well prepared. Some items pricey but they also offer a super value coffee and eggs for $10. That will get the crowds in
Wont be back . We go every year . Because it's in entertainment book . Has had 2 other name changes. Back to this . Wont honour entertainment, so plenty of other businesses around . Get it removed !
Attended Caffe Buondi for brunch. Staff were friendly, prices were very reasonable, service was good, easy parking on side street and food was nice. Friendly, casual atmosphere with good coffee.
Highly recommend the Sous Vide Chicken dishes at Spargo's in Prospect, they are amazing. Easily the best chicken I have had at a restaurant. This was our second visit, so wasn't a one off.
One of few places that opens on Monday nights. Had discount code from Eatclub app and it didn't disappoint. Eggplant parmy was delish and moorish. They have specials too (buy one get one).
Fantastic deals on breakfasts. Loved the smashed avo and patched eggs. If the ordinary Toast bread could be replaced with something better, that would be great. Nice and friendly service.
Meals were very over priced for what they are, sent first meal back undercooked pasta waited ages. Lack flavour and sauce. It used to be very nice a top pick for us but not any more.
No cheese? Specifically says on menu that it supposed to have cheese. I ordered a pasta roma for take away before it says that it is tomato base sauce but I end up with cream sauce.
Nice coffee, in fact one of the best in Prospect. A reasonable selection of cakes etc. I'm a regular there! There is always a free table and the place has convenient opening hours.
This place has some absolutely delicious pasta dishes. Our favorite is the pesto pasta. They have their own app for delivery/pickup. They are often available on Uber Eats too.
Food in bad conditions. Me and my wife got sick after having lunch there.

Came in on a busy Sunday morning, beautiful large cup of coffee and awesome service. Large size meals too. Left feeling very satisfied, will definitely return here shortly
I love that pets are allowed outside - this is why I come here. It's the perfect place for coffee and brunch. Food was OK but for the price cannot complain. Will be back.
The service was excellent and quick. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of food and drinks. Definitely a nice place for a meal if you're in the area.
It was ok but 15.90 is much to expensive for a smoked salmon foccacia that was 3/4 full of baby spinach...like a good inch thick....otherwise I love their eggs royale..
Very nice meal. The Vegan Schnitzel was absolutely delicious. Very crisp batter, fantastic filling, nicely dressed salad, and great chips. Nice and quiet atmosphere.
Average service, good food and reasonably priced. A chair broke, the did not come up to the table to serve until we called them over, and 20min wait for food.
Brilliant coffee and a great atmosphere to relax. The food is always outstanding as is the quality of service. The Gelato is a hit during the summer months.

Borderline terrible. Big brekky was cold, hard boiled poached eggs and waited 30+ mins with about 6 people in the cafe. Save ya cash or walk down the road.
Friendly service and food was absolutely incredible. Pizza, pasta and schnitzel was amazing! Will be definitely coming back. Highly recommend …
Food good. Service nice. Friendly. But the children's meals shouldn't come when the adults are half way finished with their meal. I don't get that.
Amazing customer service last night from the waitress that was very eager to assist our table of four. Thanks for being so friendly and engaging!
Great $10 breakfast offer. Coffee with either a bacon and egg sandwich or bacon and eggs done anyway. Attentive and friendly staff.
