Visited this cute little cafe today after wanting to go for some time. Immediately the cafe's aesthetic reminded me of cafes back in Seoul, same vibes too which was lovely. We ordered the iced sweet potato latte, hazelnut coffee, chestnut tart, lemon tart and matcha tart. The coffees are a slightly above average cost-wise, the tarts are pricey too (but I imagine it's very time consuming to make). My opinion...... The hazelnut latte was very nutty, as in I think the bean has been flavoured instead of hazelnut syrup being added for flavour. They didn't have skim milk at the time so I got almond and wouldn't recommend it, the nuttiness was overwhelming. 2/5 The iced sweet potato latte was made from purée not powdered stuff. This is awesome but I wish the potato was more dissolved in the milk as it was kind of gritty, I do like that it relied mainly on the natural sweetness of the potato. I would recommend getting hot if you want to order this. 3/5 The lemon tart at $3 was good. All tarts are made with almond flour which makes it lighter and tastier. The lemon curd was nice, but very potent, eat in small increments with something to buff it out like a milky drink. 4/5 The matcha tart, even at ~$7, was freaking delicious. So many places try to pass anything off as matcha these days so long as it's green but this tart had that signature slight bitterness to it we love from matcha. The filling to shell ratio was perfect, love the addition of almond flakes for texture. These desserts are subtly sweet, not American sweet which was great too. Highly recommend if you can't decide which one to choose. 5/5 Chestnut tart was fantastic too, personally I find it difficult to find chestnut desserts in NYC, much less good ones, but this cafe is noteworthy. Same light almond crust, delicious blast of chestnut, very satisfying. 5/5 They've got assorted muffins and crinkle cookies as well as dozens of more tart variations. Drinks menu featuring something for everyone. Clean and well-spaced. Worth a visit :D ~~~
This place popped up on my feed recently and after looking at the pictures I knew I had to try them out. I came by after work near closing time and sadly a lot of the tarts were already sold out. I ended up getting four different tarts: banana, Oreo, mocha and the mixed berries tart. The Oreo tart was good and not too sweet. Since it was the end of the day, the Oreo pieces were a bit on the soggy side. The mocha tart was also okay. Loved the chocolate pearls on it. Not sure if I would get this one again. I did quite enjoy the mixed berries tart. The berries really complemented the pastry cream filling. But my favorite out of the four tarts that I ordered was the banana tart. I loved that they carmilized the bananas which went so well with the milk chocolate ganache and chocolate pearls. Highly recommend getting this. Overall, I liked this bakery. I am planning on coming back and trying some of their other tarts. Definitely will make a point of coming earlier in the day instead of at the end. P.S. after my visit I found out that they have loyalty cards. For every ten items, you get one free. Unfortunately, I was not offered this which is annoying since I purchased 4 tarts on my first visit.
Indoor decoration and design are beautiful. Would be a nice place to sit down and chat with friends and family. Customer service was alright. However, the review is more for the food. Since I heard this cafe is known for its tarts, I was surprise that the taste was not to the standard of its price: $7 per tart. To be frank, it shouldn't cost more than $4 for the small size and questionable taste. I purchased 4 tarts: fruit, yogurt, tiramisu, and matcha. Here's my take in preferable order: 1. Matcha - only one I'll ever purchase if I ever go back. Has a layer of matcha and cream inside 2. Tiramisu - tasted like a brownie; no hint of coffee; sweetest one out of the four 3. Yogurt - tasted more like a cheesecake; no yogurt flavor but impressive decoration 4. Fruit Tart - uncooked tart, tasted doughy; fruits were okay; least favorable If the dough on the tart looks yellow and not partially brown, it is not fully baked. Do not waste your money and buy uncooked tart. There are other flavors; however, I'm not confident that the tarts will taste like its names so I'll stick only to the matcha tart.
Update: came here again a few days afterwards to try some of the other bingsoo. I had the sparkling watermelon ($17.50) and original ($16.99). They were both very delicious and high quality. Fruit is fresh and crisp. Interesting that they add cocktail fruits to their bingsoo. For the original, they put the Korean grain powder, corn flakes, mochi, cocktail fruits, and red bean. This seems like a jack of all trades kind of cafe and I was skeptical of their bingsu but I decided to try the mango bingsu and it was a very pleasant surprise. I'm please to say its some of the best bingsu I've had in the queens area. The ice is milky and a little bit cheesy almost and not watery at all! There is a good consistency to it and there is a mango base underneath all the bingsu ice. The mango fruit pieces are nice and crispy and not too ripe. The mochi pieces offer a nice chewy texture. Put all together, it works excellent. I would love to come back and try their other bingsus. Services is efficient and workers are kind.
My friends and I love to have a bowl of Bingsu after Korean BBQ and Cafe Terrace popped up when we searched for options in the neighborhood. The decor is simple, bright and clean with modern furniture and lots of greens. The ambiance is cozy and perfect as a place for working remotely since there is free wifi & power outlets available. There is a great variety of tarts in their display and every flavor looks so appealing. We were not there for their tarts but ended up having a Yuzu Tart and it was really good because it’s light & refreshing. We also tried their Matcha Bingsu and it was also decent but just too sweet with condensed milk at the bottom. We plan to visit again for other tarts like Tiramisu, Milk Chocolate Ganache or any flavors with fruits. However, we won't recommend thier Bingsu.

Nice environment, a bit crowded, but they did require proof of vaccination. On a Saturday, I saw at least 3 tables with people working on their laptops and some on Zoom calls. Felt disappointed that they don't offer shaved ice other than summer time, which is still 3 days away from this post. We had a coffee tart, mango tart and a honey dew smoothie. The coffee tart is not to my liking, it got some almond shaving in this, the overall texture feels strange. The mango tart tasted very sweet and artificial. The honey dew smoothie also tasted artificial, even though we saw real fruit blended into it, the drink looks very green.. there is a parking lot in the back and some outdoor seating.

Do not buy Kimbab here. I bought 2 Kimbab(rice roll) and 2 egg tarts in the morning. The egg tart was okay but I'm so disappointed with Kimbab. Look at the picture. It's supposed to be more veggies inside but they put a lot of rice instead. Too much rice!!! And I tried for Tuna kimbab another day but I think it's even worse. It was supposed to be regular kimbab + tuna but they took sausage out and add Tuna. Hmmmmm.. It's not even cheap compare to other place. You better go to other place if you want Kimbab, not here. Coffee and desserts are okay. Strawberry tart is actually good but no Kimbab.

I’d like to start off by saying I’ve been supporting this business since opening. I’ve had my share of up and down moments here but never to the point I felt a need to write a bad review. I’ve filled up my stamp coupons twice for drinks and didn’t have a problem using it the first time on the day I filled it up. I understand that it says after 10th visit but it really wouldn’t hurt to just give the free drink. By all means I don’t really care about the free drink all that much but could’ve been worded better or not try to make it so people are forced to come back. Definitely not coming back anymore and as for the free drink it’s not worth my time. Way to start off the new year!
I went to Cafe Terrace to pick up desserts for my family. They have the cutest little mini tarts with so many flavors to make everyone in your family happy. They were so delicious. The workers were so pleasant and the ambiance was super cute with Halloween Decorations for the time of year. The waffles looked delicious too! I’ve had their cappuccino as well, which was great! I will definitely be back to try more tarts and the other desserts and coffees!

Keepin it real out here in Bayside Beautiful cafe with great vibes to do work in. The music isn't too loud but just enough to keep you distracted/focused whichever you're looking for. The drinks were pretty good, finally adding some interesting options instead the boring cold brew i had to get everywhere else. One thing that made the experience a little weird was how diligently they checked my vaccine status, triple checking and even clicking through the Exceksior app to make sure it's real. It's part of the job but just a little too much for me personally. Would still go back though cause it's a solid spot.
Wi-Fi is a huge issue. It kept going in & out which prevented me from being able to work consistently. There are also ‘fake outlets’ that seem like they are outlets from far away, but are covered up which is very limiting. I got a latte which tasted watered down and overall was not worth the price :( The girl cashier was super kind however, which was the only redeeming part, but overall I regret the experience & will not be back.

During my recent visit, I encountered a male staff member who displayed rudeness and appeared preoccupied when taking my order just before breakfast ended. Despite his friendly interactions with other customers, he seemed frustrated and treated me in a discourteous manner when I requested a Korean street toast. The other staff have always been courteous & friendly. The atmosphere & decor are pleasant. Not sure if I will be going back.

Took one of my friends here before she left town to start her nursing program as a going away thing. As seen in the pictures we got two tarts and two drinks. The tarts were good, nothing out of this world but enjoyable. The drink I had was a peach ice and it wasn’t that good. The total came out to almost 40$ so thats the biggest downside. The outdoor seating was great considering that there was no one there but it was a thursday afternoon. They have only two parking spots allotted to the cafe otherwise street parking is available.
Disappointing place. I usually go and buy a cup of coffee and a sandwich to hang out and do some work. I typically stay about an hour or 2. This place is mostly empty and I can see why. They blast their 90s and early 2000s music aloud. The cashier is super nice but the owner appears to be very aloof and annoyed when asked questions. (eg WIFI which always goes in and out). I won't return here. The only good things are parking (because not many come here) and nice cashier.

I went today at noon with my children to get a baby and a baby, aged 4 and 15 months in a pram, they helped us get in (another customer because there was no bar for someone to go up with a pram or even a pram and he didn't help us you make us go down the stairs immediately and I hugged my baby with the stroller, they didn't even open the door for us, no smile at the service and no one said sorry! unacceptable!

Maybe it's not the cafe’s fault. I’ve been driving around town and hitting up dog friendly cafes in Flushing and next to Grey Cafe this showed up. Unfortunately, my usual go to had closed down. I came in the cafe and asked politely if they allowed dogs. Owner and customers doesn't looked very welcoming and pleased, I was stared down so we just left. The server was nice enough though, so at least ordered something. I'm heading back to Grey Cafe I still didn't see the terrace...
20 minutes to start ordering (despite there being no one in line, and almost no customer), 30 minutes to get 3 lattes lol. The iced sweet potato and chestnut lattes were pretty good, but not worth the 1 hour wait. The iced dirty chai latte was warm and watered down. I have some empathy for the female employee who was clearly new and confused, but they are clearly not ready to compete in the market.

This is my goto spot in the neighborhood for working remote from. The staff is friendly, wifi is great and there are outlets near the tables. On weekdays there is usually plenty of spots open and other customers on laptops as well. I usually get the oat milk latte which is pretty strong and has a nice nutty flavor. They also sell pastries and kimbap. In the mornings, the breakfast sandwich is available before noon and is a great option as well.
Came with the family to enjoy dads birthday everything was smooth and good until I received a wrong order. I specifically asked for a mango bingsu and they made strawberry, we had already had strawberry ordered along with honeydew. What made the situation more troublesome the cashier made it seem as if it was my fault and now we stool having another strawberry bingsu with ever trying the mango . Won’t be back for a while .
Such a cute cafe! There was a wide variety of tarts to choose from - I didn’t notice the tarts in the back so I have to come back and try them~~ Out of those that I’ve tried, the honeydew tart was my favorite - the cream was the perfect sweetness! Wasn’t a big fan of the cheese tart but I’m not a cheese lover so it makes sense haha - the banana tart was also great [food insta: @strwbrrryboba for more food recs :)]
I'm here for bingsu , come in store around 8:45pm take few minutes to watch menu, there only one person work behind the bar and he is so busy , then 9:02pm he finally ask what we want , then I told him I want to have bingsu and he told me bingsu don't serve after 9pm !! Yeah ~ if you are here before 9 , I'm definitely order before 9 !!

In a horrible mood, and not from the area. Dying for a chai latte. Saw this place, so what the heck. Nice employee dealt with my annoying Keto inquiries to ensure low carbs. I walked out, took a sip, and all was well in the world :). Sometimes we just need our drink how we like it, and this was one of those times! Lol. The simple things. Thank you for brightening my day with my great chai
Just went in here for the first time after passing by several times and thinking that I should pay a visit because of how cute it looks from the outside. Inside is impeccably clean, bathroom as well. Egg custard tarts are exceptional as well as the peppermint mocha latte. Also, there was street parking available right outside which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely visit again

Customer service was amazing and the café was extremely clean. Definitely go to.
Easy to see right off of Northern Boulevard servicing Bayside and the adjoining areas of Queens. Parking on the street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff. Great for Pictures. We will most likely be going back.
Had the taiyaki. The ice cream is very sweet while the taiyaki itself is kind of hard to chew. However the combo together has a nice taste to it!

My go-to cafe for studying and hanging out with friends! The tarts are great but my favorite at the cafe are the chocolate chip cookies. The cookies are great.
Good place to come and take some dessert and coffee. Some young students came here to do assignments. I like the ambience and assortment of desserts here.
Over priced. If you want to eat bingsu, you'd better find other place. Fruit tart is not bad, but tiramisu tart does not taste like tiramisu at all.
