I started going to Calgary Autoworks a couple years who when i was looking for an automotive shop that could specialize in my VW. Shortly After dealing with CA the first time, I knew that i had found a shop worthy of taking any of my vehicles too. Chris and the rest of the guys at Calgary Autoworks have been nothing short of fantastic when I've dealt with them. From servicing, installing parts and tuning my car, to helping me make the best decisions on my build and even helping me research crazy ambitions of gutting everything under my hood without corrupting my car, they have had nothing but solid advice. Time and time again they have helped me make better decisions and more often than not, saved me money while getting a better product. I like to do most of the work on my car that i can handle, but the time i have had it in the shop, it was fast and not overly expensive for the work they did. Having an older Audi A6 Premium I've rarely had/never had "simple" maintenance experiences since the maintenance program expired about 4 years ago, so I've been constantly looking for a reliable and honest mechanic. The car never had an issue while on maintenance and, granted it only gets older, but the 3 maintenance experiences I have had between maintenance program expiring and Calgary Autoworks were nothing short of egregious (at Audi dealer and two other independents). Colin set the expectation of an hour to diagnose the symptom (the reason why I brought it in), and ultimately charged only for the time it took to do the work, providing a clear cost estimate to repair. A caveat to the estimate was it may be more if parts are seized on etc. In the end, they made the repair on point with the estimate and unlike my other experiences, that was the end of it... as its been working great. Thank you Calgary Autoworks for the reliable and honest service!

Honest Mechanic! Took my 2009 Audi A4 in for some work and Colin was very helpful. I thought my battery needed to be replaced, but he had asked me if I did a lot of short trips, which I do and we found that this was the issue with my battery not having enough distance travelled to charge. So instead of just making me buy a new battery they just charged mine up. For my other issue (the low oil sensor light) prices on the parts were much better than the dealer, and the labour costs were good value. I have also been there for my brakes (because the dealer price was ridiculous), and that was also a very good experience. The owner Chis is very friendly, and they are just straight up and honest period. They had to keep my car overnight once, and had ensured as they do with all their client cars that they are locked up inside their facility, and not left outside which is also important to me,

I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible and amazing Chris and all the guys at Calgary AutoWorks are. Not only do they provide top notch, honest and reliable work, they have accommodated me for parts or issues I’ve had with my VW on more than one occasion, and on short notice! That is going ABOVE AND BEYOND, time and time again. I don’t live anywhere near this location, but I make the drive so I can support them but most importantly because I truly trust Chris and the guys recommendations to a fault. I've been using Calgary Autoworks to service my VW Touareg TDI for 2-3 years. They've provided me a variety of services over that time and I have yet to endure a negative experience. Chris and Colin are great to deal with and the mechanics do a good job. They are a knowledgeable team, provide very competitive pricing and operate with the highest standard of integrity. Compared to the dealership service options I have found the pricing here to be lower and I have far more faith in the information provided by this team. They don't try to upsell additional services/equipment and are genuinely in serving the customer's needs. I highly recommend this shop!

I Genuinely believe that Calgary Autoworks is the best Mechanic shop around! I have dealt with Colin and Chris on numerous occasions and every single time they have gone above and beyond for me!! This last time unfortunately i had damaged my fuel line on my b7 and they have been so accommodating that it truly is incredible its mind blowing! Bar none, the best service I have ever recieved at a shop. The quality of work they do is excellent. If they find any other issues with my car they notify me right away and they fix the issue right the first time. No return trips to fix the same problem over again. For anyone who loves their car. I’ve taken my BMW a couple times to Calgary Autoworks and every time Chris and his team do an amazing job, they always tell you what’s going on and always do a checkup after you take your vehicle home. I moved here last year and I taken my vehicle to a couple other places before finding Calgary Autoworks and those other places always overcharged and didn’t know what they were doing. Would highly recommend and won’t be taking my vehicle anywhere else!

I've been bringing my cars to Colin and Chris for a few years now, and with good reason. They know Audi, have fair rates, and perform quality work. Recently I was selling a car and was provided a lengthy and expensive list of repairs that were 'required' in order for my vehicle to pass an inspection before I could sell with a park and sell company in town. Calgary Autoworks brought it in and gave me the straight story. They're keeping my business.

I have been going to Calgary Autoworks for a couple years now. In looking around before my first visit their prices are very reasonable and the vehicle gets fixed right. They have always been flexible around dropping off and leaving the vehicle. My first visit was after a what could have been a large replacement, but the Calgary Autoworks team was able to repair. Highly recommend!

I my opinion, this is one of the best shops in the City for European cars. I've brought a few of my cars to them over the years and have always gotten straight answers from them and top notch quality. Chris is always willing to take time to explain issues and repairs if needed. I've always found them to be honest and reputable--a rare thing to come by based on my experience.

Chris, Collin, & the team at Calgary Autoworks were fantastic. I had some issues while flashing my B9 S4's ECU at home, and they were able to get my car in promptly and have it fixed in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. Highly recommend going to see these guys for any issues, or for any work you're looking to have done to your German car. I know I certainly will be!

Very bad experience. we had vibrations when accelerating on Transporter, after a one-hour diagnosis billed at $250, the manager offered us additives because our vehicle had no problem according to him. Unconvinced we go to the volkswagen dealership, after a neighborhood tour the diagnosis is final, the flywheel is about to let go. Tuning garage, to flee for a diagnosis

Great shop to take your car to. They will treat you fair and make sure you are well taken care of. The mechanics know what they are doing. This shop is capable of doing pretty much anything you want and it will be done WELL. I have dealt with the shop for a few years now and haven't been let down. Things just keep getting better!

got just under $4k in work done here to my GTI - timing chain, brakes, few other things. it was done quickly and the mechanic was never pushy when suggesting other maintenance that could be done within the same visit. they were able to get me in very quickly compared to other shops, and their oil change cost was very reasonable

I took a 2012 Tiguan here for a pre-purchase inspection, while booking over the phone, Colin explained he knew of some specific issues in this gen to look for. Great work on VW car. Seem knowledgeable and competent with German manufactured vehicles. Perhaps older models are a challenge for this group ... Spent $4K (for various fixes) on a '93 Audi originally brought in for a no-start issue - car still has no-start problem.
