I went to report the driver who didn't give me her car insurance info after she hit rear of my car. I called non emergency line to get an advice and the operator told me to go to a police station to report. I told the policeman what happened and he didn't even want to help me. He was grumpy and careless. He kept ask me how I know if she doesn't have a car insurance. WELL because she refused to give it to me?? so I want you to find out??? because Driving without insurance is illegal?? I was so disappointed the way I was treated. never want to go back. "If you don't feel good then stay home don't come to work. Don't give your bad energy to other people" this is my father told me and his workers when I worked his restaurant. My father is totally RIGHT!!

Was involved in a hit-and-run. Went in to get a sticker and after an hour wait, the cop, T. Bell, told me he didn't believe the damage was worth more than 2000. I should come back with an assessment and don't waste his time. He was very rude. I went back the following week to get a sticker and received a call from my insurance company the next day saying the officer had filed a report that I was trying to commit insurance fraud! The body shop had to deal with the insurance company to clarify everything. T. Bell was INCREDIBLY rude and talked down to me the whole time. Claimed I wasted his time the whole interaction. Unhelpful and left me worried. Police are a waste of tax payers money. Now i understand why people want to defund them.

I can't say much for it is on the service is but, I've gone 2 times and with my schedule that day, I arrived 30 minutes before closing. Both times the doors were locked and for the first I thought they might be dealing with something so that's fine. However, on the 2nd I decided to call to see if someone would open the door but, nope they always close 30 mins before as they stated they are just like a restaurant. I can get closing 15 minutes before but I worked in a restaurant and if someone came in 5 minutes before closing we had to help them. Not too big of a deal in the end just an annoyance.

My wife and I tried to get a police records check. We went in on a Saturday; no one was at the front desk; no one was there to answer questions or give us directions; there was no signage for directions on receiving service. After someone waiting for service told us there was a lineup and we'd have to wait we decided to leave and try another day. We came back on Monday and again no help from the front desk. Eventually I was told to sit down and wait in line even though there was no apparent line. A little bit of effort in assisting us and giving us information would have been appreciated.

I came to the station on Friday night to file a collision with the truck backing up to my vehicle on an intersection happened in the morning. The constable Doug Sherwood was very polite, explained the procedure, promptly emailed me the form to fill out. The next morning on Saturday at 8.27 AM, he sent me the update with the details of the investigation he was going to perform to complete the report. On Monday at 11 AM the collision report was complete and emailed to me. I was impressed with the quick actions and efficiency of the Constable. Thank you very much!

I went to report fraud/scam as on the website the Calgary police encourage people to do so. I experienced the worst and rudest behaviour. Not only I was turned around told to hire a lawyer as they don’t deal with such things. The officer sitting behind the desk didn’t go far for the “F” word, not speaking directly to me but about me and making sure I can hear him to make me feel even worse than I already did. Definitely not the way people should get treated when asking for help!

Mr. Doug Sherwood, a policeman at District 2, proved himself to be a consummate professional this afternoon. I had just been in a car accident. The other driver is very likely at fault, however I was shaken, with no clue of next steps in relation to the significant damage to my car. Mr. Sherwood calmly, kindly and succinctly told me what next steps would likely be necessary. Thank you Mr. Sherwood, and thank you Calgary Police for all that you do.

Went in for a damage sticker for my truck. (accident that was not my fault) As if I wasn't having a bad enough day the officer wrote me tickets for to small of mudflaps and window tint... not really sure what I expected. At least he offered to toss the tickets if I brought the truck back fixed within a few weeks. Otherwise were pretty helpful in my accident investigation and were friendly enough.

Uncomfortable experience with the young cadet on duty whose petulant and rude attitude became evident when he spoke over me on several ocassions. Disappointed in his superior who was sat in silence watching and hearing this young man behave in this fashion towards a member of the public, especially a visible minority. Expected more from interacting with the police, especially on Christmas day.

Unhelpful, went in to try to file a police report and I was told that my insurance is charge of doing their job. I was rear ended by a commercial vehicle that failed to show proof of insurance but constable mustache didn't seem to care. Why do a job you don't like? If helping people is not your priority maybe you should go drive a bus? I don't recommend going to this location.

I filed a police report with Officer Sherwood. I was worried going in because I wasn't sure how to handle the situation. Thankfully, he was very professional, friendly, and helpful. I finished up the report quickly and without any hassle. Officer Sherwood knew exactly what I needed to do, and had a great attitude about it all.

CPS website and the hours on the door clearly state that the station is open until 6. I honestly feel this should be updated to "before 6", I also want to send a sarcastic thank you to the wonderful person who knocked off early.

Absolutely disgusting display of forced use against a man of religion that feeds homeless people and preached the word of God..all police involved have lost the respect of the general public and are a shame to Canadian citizens

Went in today to report a car accident. I Was seen immediately by a helpful and pleasant officer. He helped me get a police report filed in about 10 minutes. It was a nice experience to end a pretty crappy day. Thanks!

I recently attended District 2. The office staff (who I called and spoke with) and officer who assisted me in person were all very professional, polite and helpful. They answered my questions and were very efficient.

Went in to submit a Vehicle Accident Witness Statement. The gentleman officer was courteous and efficient. He even caught that the officer on site put the wrong case file number, and he corrected it.

The officers are belligerent and unhelpful - and inept. They took my DL following an accident, and lost it. There was no hint of apology for doing so, nor for the inconvenience that caused me.

They treat minorities like dirt. I agree with the other review saying I would give them ZERO stars if i could. You can tell they’re looking down on you just because you’re not white.

Trying to report a possible school shooting that might take place tomorrow only to be told “nothing I can do about it, let me put you on hold for a half hour then hang up on you”
