Beautiful, tree-filled park surrounding a cricket oval. Great for families, with a playground and plenty of tables for parties and picnics. The cafe next to the park provides blankets and will walk your food out to you. Plenty of amenities including bathrooms, BBQ facilities, exercise equipment, ping pong tables, basketball courts, bike trail and gorgeous heritage rotunda. Definitely one of the best parks in the Inner West.
Playground
Great playground suitable for both little and big kids, with plenty of shade cover.
Picnic area
Plenty of places to host your picnic or even set up a proper party, with tables and benches, many with shade cover and BBQ facilities.

Seems like a relatively small area but it fits heaps of different things! There’s a large oval, as well as tennis courts, basketball courts, a small kids playground and also outdoor gym equipment. There are also a block of toilets nearby and parking along the street. Definitely a nice place to come for a walk or run around, or to play some sports!

Played cricket on the Oval. Lovely surrounds, and park walks, and beautiful shady trees to sit under, on a blanket, there some some seating, but blankets were common. there are shops around to explore. Toilet facilities were tidy and clean. Parking on a Sunday was not too difficult, and the cricket was fun

A wide open park, with a variety of exercise options. Tons of people working out whether it be Yoga, running, group training or using the exercise equipment. Downside, not even modern comfortable seating, and more update exercise equipment required.

  • Steve Albert (BuzzMan)

Played cricket here before the club rooms got renovated. It’s a great community spot with the oval, park, exercise stations and now really clean public amenities. Plenty of places to enjoy a family day out and lots of people with pets there.

A small sports oval set amongst mature trees. Popular in winter and summer with seating and a bbq area. Lots of activity on the basketball courts to the side and outdoor gym equipment which is free for anyone to use tucked away behind the

This park is big and good for the kids to run around. The parking can be a little hard depending on what time and day you visit. There should also in my opinion be a better section for the young kids to entertain themselves such as swings

  • Logan Harvey

Very popular park with good reason. Has all the modern amenities expected of a 21st century public space. Great cafes boarder the park providing all your caffeine and sucrose needs. Please contain your excitement.

What a lovely park. On my visit there were kids in the playground, big kids playing basketball, oldies on the table tennis, all ages kicking a footy, dogs galore. Nice Victorian rotunda and some great old trees

Love this park. Excellent basketball courts, outside gym, great kids play area. There are two cafes that are adjacent to the park which will loan you a picnic rug and bring your food out to the park.

2 cafes right next to it. Outdoor gym. Flat ground. Undulating outside perimeter. So one can choose too be in our outside the oval to run/ walk etc. Nice trees and a few benches and tables around.

Oval exceeded expectations. Well really it’s far more than that. Quite sunny but plenty of shade. Lovely atmosphere and if you’re lucky a puppy will come nibble on your clothes .
