It takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. I've had some pretty good deliveries from here, and the staff are generally really nice! (The Filipino Lady with long dark hair that Tiffany Nguyen had an issue with was always been very courteous and helpful with me!) However one of the staff members has a real attitude problem. A white lady with short blonde hair. I think she gets up on the wrong side of bed everyday. I go in with a pickup slip which had no date but I checked the status online and it says it was ready for pickup. I get to the counter and the lady takes one look at the slip, doesn't even scan it in and tells me to come back tomorrow. It took multiple attempts to convince her to look up my order number (the slips are right in front of her but she refuses to scan them). The number I quote off my phone are the exact same on the slips, but no, because of the incompetence of this foolish employee, we have to go through the whole song and dance of reading off the number. And guess what! The packages are ready to pickup! Go get help lady, please!
Take your mail some where else if you're buying postage. The woman today (11/21/16, 3:30pm) wouldn't charge me letter mail for any of the my letters heading to the US. She said my 22cm x 15cm flat mailers weight 0.75g had to go out small packet at $5.95. I send them out all the time and in accordance to Canadapost mailing guide lines the mailer can ship letter mail at $2.95 to the US... I politely tried to inform her she was wrong but she would have none of it. I ended up not proceeding and taking my mail to Canadapost location on Sussex Ave. Where they have Canadapost trained staff, know what they're doing and in the end charged me $2.95 for my mail. The woman ended the failed transaction with the comment. "You'll get charged the same everywhere else" I don't blame Canadapost I blame the ill-trained London Drugs staff who either don't know what they're doing or are misinformed... Liliana smh...
The hours posted on google is not true at all. It’s been a month since the pandemic, maybe you should update your hours on google too. Went to this branch today and to my dismay that the lady who I was told was the manager standing in front on London Drugs Wessex states they are closed. Nobody checks your website and none knows your website too. I checked it before I came to this branch and yes they are closed at 5 pm which was posted on a tiny piece of paper on the entrance door of London Drugs that you can’t even notice it unless you are very particular to read all things posted on a tiny letters. Perhaps do my suggestion as well not to confuse customers. Like what I said, it’s been a month since the lockdown as what some people say, so there is no excuse for you not to update your hours here.
Where to begin describing my second and hopefully last visit here? At the parking lot! It's like a miniature version of trying to park at the Richmond Costco... The reason I went to this location is it's extended hours - great! I had not expected to show up at 6:10 and not get helped until 7. There was just one lady working. I can't fault her friendliness, but she certainly wasn't helping the line move quickly. Not to mention the queue extended well into the main store itself, with employees and costumers trying to get by... When I asked if this was usual, I was told yes. What's the point of Canada Post putting in multiple checkouts if they aren't going to staff them when busy? My advice: only go if you have an hour or so to kill...
This is actually a very good Post Office aside from one person that works there. She is very, very slow. Has poor English and does not fully understand her job. The other staff members are very accommodating. The other reviews will be based on the reviewers experience with same staff member that I cannot stand. She works afternoons. She really needs to be either moved to a different position or lose her job. Her name starts with L. Avoid dealing with her at all costs. I seen people talk with her trying to get information and end up walking away confused. All the other staffers are fantastic though. To bad she ruins the store by working there.
My package was dropped off to this location due to delivery failure but I was so delighted with how the female staff (sorry I forgot her name) attended to me on how I can fit my heavy (10kg) package into my trolley. I manage to take out the items in my package and I was able to leave the box at their store. I was actually disappointed with their customer service phone support but I'm just glad I get to experience an excellent service in person at the store. Very friendly and helpful staff! She did an awesome job and made my day brighter! Thank you! :)
July 5: 2.30-4pm The lady with glasses is the best CP staff!!! I came to pickup my AC package not expecting it would be that big and heavy. She went above and beyond to ensure I was ok picking it up by myself and even lent me the trolley. She double checked if I was safe and comfortable when I came back to return it. I have been to CP this location many times and always feel welcomed by all the staff here! I can totally see their joy of working and helping people. Thank youuuuuu
Terrible customer service. They won’t immediately scan your Amazon returns and when you ask, they give you attitude. All other post office drop off I’ve been to will scan and give receipt and almost immediately, Amazon confirms return and I get my refund. At this location, I dropped off my packages and it’s been 4 days and no indication that they have even been scanned. Don’t go to this location. Not only is the customer experience poor but you will rush losing your Amazon packages.
Been here a few times and my experience was meh. I needed to seal one of my envelopes with tape and i didn't have any on me. So the clerk offered me tape but then charged me $1.00 for a little piece. I happened to go somewhere else one time and i asked about charging for tape and the clerk said no they don't normally do it. its to the discretion of the clerk. I showed him the size of tape the other clerk gave me and he said that she shouldn't have charge for it.
Had to pick up two deliveries, the delivery attempt for both was done together. Went into this store to pick both up, the guy said he would only be able to give me one of them, because he "hadn't scanned the other and didn't have time to do it", asked us to come back the other day. For me that didn't make any sense, surely both parcels came in together, and even if they didn't, make us come back another day because of a scan?!
This is the third Canada Post I've hit today on my quest to cash this Canada Post Money Order. The other two said they don't cash them and told me to go here. This location does cash them but guess what? They don't have enough money in the till to cash it. How does a government postal office not have $500 in bills? I'm mind blown.
These guys in the store are great. Sometimes undermanned, which is REALLY FRUSTRATING.....IT IS CANADA POST DRIVERS THAT ARE THE PROBLEM. I don't think they even attempt deliveries anymore.....they just write up the notice and they ARE GONE! Gonna catch one of these guys one day and slap him around : ))
I do a lot of online shopping so I have a lot of receiving done here. I am almost 70 years old & I came to this London Drugs Canada Post Office for years. The manager & staff are the best. They are usually busy there but their service is always quick & friendly.
For Amazon customers: This location is registered as an Amazon pick-up location on the Amazon website. When you pick-up your package, they will snap at you to not use that option, and tell you to always use a personal Canada Post flex delivery address instead.
Stay away. Shipped a frozen meat and paid $50 shipping within BC. Supposed to arrive in 1 day, its been 3 days now and item is still in Richmond. This post office was not able to send it to Richmond for scanning on the day it was received. Go somewhere else.
This location has some of the most friendly and efficient Canada Post staff I've ever encountered, particularly Marjorie. The employees here try to anticipate my needs and are always efficient with everything. Highly recommend this branch!
I don’t know why they don’t add a second till. The staff are good but always takes at least 20 minutes to drop off a package since there is only one staff member handling the lineup
Please put in the right hours it says your open til 7pm and here at 6:30 and it’s closed seriously waste of my time don’t be fooling people with wrong hours
It’s very busy on the weekends & evenings, however they try their best. They do get an overwhelming number of packages due to the growing neighborhood
Sloooooooow. The woman working there is doing her best and is very efficient, but she is on her own. Come on Canada Post, put some more people here.
The new girl training seems very unfriendly and indifferent. If you don’t want to work, just stay home. No need to spread your negativity.
Super unfriendly clerk. Was unable to scan lable. Told me can't be input manually. Went to other location. They input manually. No issues
staff are not trained properly, very bad attitude, sometimes show you her attitude. stay away from this post office. terrible services.
Typical to arrive at this location and see at least 8 people in line for one attendant. Today was 12. Why so short staffed always?
Bought stamps here today. The lady worked at the counter was professional and answered my questions clearly.
Quick and efficient with FlexDelivery pick-ups but the line-ups can get long at times (wait time 10+ mins).
The clerk told me to use Xpresspost why didn't he advise me with cheaper option, like expedited?
Typical post office experience. I wasn't happy or displeased about anything.
The staff here has some attitude to try to get away from customer
They said they do not give out receipts for Amazon return
Staff are busy but very hard working so not a long wait.
The lady at the post office was really helpful :)
Always a very long lineup...
