"Literally the most garbage Canada post I’ve ever had the displeasure of going to"
"This postal outlet is part of a small store, and I do mean small"
"Unbelievably rude"
"The staff are extremely unprofessional And RUDE! Today i went to pick up my parcel (unlucky me that i had to go pick it up from there), i had to pay so i used my card, after the payment was processed she was like we don’t accept visa! Only debit or cash! I was like i never got asked to use these specific cards in any other Canada Post offices, and i don’t have my debit or cash on me! She made me a refund and took my parcel away from me"
"I’ve come here multiple times to drop off returns and have never had problems"
Literally the most garbage Canada post I’ve ever had the displeasure of going to. They absolutely, under no circumstance answer their phone. I tried calling a dozen times, then I went inside the store and called them.. yet again - they didn’t answer the phone. They simply let it ring and ring. This has been the case all 3 times I’ve been in there. If that wasn’t bad enough, they have maybe two employees there at any given time who either attend to people who want to send mail, or they’re running the convenience store, there isn’t one person dedicated to either cash, so if it’s busy you might as well leave because you’ll be standing there for 45 minutes. They don’t check your parcel if it’s one of the flat rate boxes, they just get you to leave it there without even checking the address to make sure everything is correct and it will actually get to its destination. And finally, my personal favourite.. THEY DONT GIVE TRACKING options. They just ring you through for the cheapest option.. put stickers on, then get all defensive when you say you want tracking. English isn’t even their second language, let alone first. I’d trust my parcel with a carrier pigeon before ever entrusting anything to these people again.
This postal outlet is part of a small store, and I do mean small. And because it has a small staff too, I've discovered they can sometimes be shut earlier or open later than is stated. So keep that in mind. Also, because of the small staff and dwindling amount of Canada Post outlets, you will no doubt have to wait in line. Whenever I've gone there I usually wait about 10 minutes. So make sure you have the correct addresses, make a list if you need several things, always get a receipt, check it before you leave, and allow the extra time required. A bad place to go if you're in a rush or on a deadline. The staff is knowledgeable, but not particularly friendly and look like they're overworked and just want to get to the next customer. NOTE: If you just need a book of regular stamps, you can often get them at the regular Cash register that services the store part. And they are rarely busy. So ask there before going to the Postal outlet if it has a big line up. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading my review. Sincerely, Laura-Lee (Was Here)
Unbelievably rude. I took something in that I had previously priced out by weight, dimensions and international rate on Canada Post.ca. I also brought in the downloaded and approved Customs form for each envelope from CP. Without even weighing the envelopes, the woman told me that they would cost me $10 each and that they were parcels. I tried to explain that I had already spoken with Canada Post and that the paperwork with the barcode would prove that and she started yelling at me telling me that they were parcels and I had to pay $10 for them. I asked her to stop raising her voice and tried, once again, to explain that the barcodes from Canada Post would confirm the price, but she refused to scan them or look at them. This place is ridiculous. They need to lose their license as a registered CP post office.
The staff are extremely unprofessional And RUDE! She made me a refund and took my parcel away from me. I told her i can’t go home and come back. And i was already there for 30 minutes. But she ignored me and acted like she didn’t hear me. I had to get cash from the guy who works in the phones area, thanks to him, ( i paid him by visa). I would never recommend that location and these rude annoying staff there.
I’ve come here multiple times to drop off returns and have never had problems. However tonight was an exception when the woman working the post office till refused to help me. She was unable to give me a valid reason and stared blankly at me until I realized she expected me to spend $5+ on tape to seal the envelope myself. This was never a requirement whenever I’ve dropped returns off in the past. I visited a post office in a nearby Shoppers Drug Mart and the gentleman took my return and taped my envelope with zero issues. This place has the worst customer service, so I suggest taking your business to an establishment that respects its frequent customers.
DON'T EVER GO HERE! WORST POST OFFICE EVER!!!! Went to this post office and wanted to send something internationally. They gave me the box and they said that it would work and then said that shipping would be $50. That person's shift ended and another person came by. When I went up to the counter and gave them the box they said that I can't use it and they said that shipping would be $150. I said no and tried to give back the box. They made me pay $30 for the box that I couldn't use because I had "used it" he didn't say that I couldn't use this box until AFTER I had written the address. Never go here. You will be disappointed.
I agree with all the bad reviews from customers!! I’ve stopped going there and now go to Shoppers!! I CAN NOT believe that Canada Post would allow this place to be a Post Office. What do we need to do to bring this to Canada Post Attention? I’ve had several parcels over the years that were supposedly lost and never made it to address!!! Even government envelopes I mailed and was never received at address. I HATE that my parcels that was to come to my address are taken to this store for me to pick up!!! I’d rather they go to my nearest Shoppers Drug Post Office!!
The worst Canada Post location in the city... By far. Zero customer service and communication and run by some clowns who cannot answer basic questions and kick your parcel boxes to the front instead of carrying them. I hope someone at Canada Post wake up for a a couple of minutes and read the reviews/ratings of this portly managed and handled location.
If I would be able to rate it “-5” stars I would do it. Unprofessional and unfriendly staff, they can't even answer your questions properly because their English is just awful. How they were hired- is a mystery to me, but the image they are making for Canada post will have a really bad impact. Save your time and do not visit this post office.
By far the worst Canada Post location in the whole city. The people who work there have zero customer service and super rude. Share your experiences in the feedback link on your receipt to make Canada Post aware of the joke that is happening in this location. If you need a post office, AVOID this one and go elsewhere.
This location is open late and that’s how I found out it existed. The staff are extremely unprofessional and barely give you any information that might be useful or relevant. They don’t respond to your questions properly. Their focus is collecting money from the customers. Awful customer service.
Dropped off a box to ship, noticed one flap of the box came open and needed a small piece of tape to secure it. Asked if they had some tape I could use to fix the box. They said no and made me buy a $3.50 roll, and when there was some customer tape right on the other table.
Went to buy an envelope for a $1.79 with my VISA. They wanted to charge me an extra because it was under $5. This is because they don't want to pay the service fees the provider charges. Plus with COVID-19 as it has been, I prefer not to carry cash. Won't be back here.
Words cannot express how bad my experience was! The guy who works there is nice but the lady is just horrible. No customer service skills whatsoever. Don't waste your time by going to this location, go to Kingsway Mall, they are polite and know how to do their job
Awful, with Covid-19, you would think that as a representative of Canada Post they would offer hand sanitizer. When questioned about it and the fact they represented Canada post, yet offered no sanitizer, the employee stated, they didn't give us any! Ridiculous!
Zero customer service. Lady had an answer for me even before I got to the counter, and it was "you need to put label, not here" Before i got to the counter, before i oulld say a word. Just horrible. Is this some kinda knock off.Canada post?
Suggest you go to another Post Office. Same package, but another post office was 35% less. I'm kicking myself for not switching earlier and looking up the reviews. Canada Post - do you event look at the reviews of your Post Offices?
This place is less of a post office and more a menagerie of clowns. Poorly organized, unable to communicate and having extreme difficulty offering basic services. It is unfortunate that there is not more government oversight.
one of kind women look like china wow toooo rude amazon have follow order pick up my track address no respect me soo want feel to her to person fired me very hate hate hate
Their shipping price is different from other locations, they were going to charge me $60 extra from what other locations charge yet its canada post same service
Open for service until 8:00 pm. Yeah right. Got there at 6:13 pm closes at 6:00 pm. Canada Post head office needs to know the public is not being served.
Terrible customer service. Asked for mail forwarding help (for my address being changed two streets over) and I got directed to call the help line....
Lazy workers here close the store whenever they feel like even when you go during business hours posted on Google and the door. Ridiculous.
Very bad and terrible customs service, the woman is so mean and rude. She yells at customs for no reason. Shouldn’t be in that position.
Worst customer service. They do not know how to talk to customers. Better try another canada post
The service is bad, there is no respect, they ask for documents that are not required, very bad.
The post office attendant retrieved my package from the back by KICKING it to the front.
Terrible service! They don’t deserve even one star... for kicking packages with foots
Don't waste your time, not open during hours posted on their own door
If all the mailman want to go on strike I’ll take their job LOL
Somebody Robbed my package and then tried to robo scam me.
They are uncooperative and strict when talking to you
Left a sour taste in my mouth will not use again.
Very bad service. Do not respect customers ..
Honestly I would’ve rate zero if I could
Very efficient and friendly
Believe the reviews
