There is this small quaint liquor warehouse there. They have every wine and even hard to find whiskey and bourbon. I wanted a new wine that I discovered by accident and all I had to do was show them a photo of the bottle and in seconds I had a whole case of it. Their prices are from low cost to worth the money. They have so many selections that you can walk out with what you came for and more than you came for without breaking the bank. They even had the hard to find english ports. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on what they have. I am always happy when go in and when I leave. You have to go early as there is a big chain store also in the mall but I never have to search for parking. I just love the place and recommend it to everyone that ask me where I got a wine that I served with dinner or a Saturday lunch.. They have a huge selection of known wines as well as unknowns and that is the greatest surprise of all. You can ask what goes with what foods. There is a guy there that is always unpacking boxes and I just asked did he know what went well with steak? My goodness did he know a lot on the subject of wines. He didn't really look like he did, but was very pleasant in his manner and attitude when I said he knew more than just stocking the wines and liquors. He said he became interested and its a love to understand the product they sell and see how people react to the gems that they find in the store. The cashier is friendly and patient if you want to go back for another bottle of something that just calls to you. They don't over whelm you by asking what you want and just silently stand near if you need anything. You can walk around and around until you are satisfied with your choices. No worries and no rush attitudes in that place. I'm always finding gems in that store that's why I love going there. I never know what I'll come across ,but will certainly love.
BJ's Wholesale Club in Canarsie Plaza is a convenient shopping destination for those seeking bulk groceries and household items. Nestled in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn, this warehouse-style store offers a wide selection of products at competitive prices. The size of BJ's is impressive, with spacious aisles and ample room to navigate through the store. The shelves are well-stocked, and the variety of items available is extensive. From pantry staples to electronics, you can find almost everything you need for your daily essentials. The membership program at BJ's provides additional discounts and perks for regular shoppers. It's worth considering if you frequently shop in bulk and can take advantage of the savings. However, it's important to note that non-members may experience slightly higher prices. One downside of BJ's in Canarsie Plaza is the occasional lack of organization within the store. Some sections may appear disheveled, making it challenging to find specific items. Additionally, during peak hours, the checkout lines can become long, resulting in a longer wait time. The customer service at BJ's is generally satisfactory, with helpful staff members available to assist shoppers. However, there have been occasional reports of less attentive service during busy periods. Overall, BJ's in Canarsie Plaza offers a convenient shopping experience for those looking to stock up on groceries and household items in bulk. While it may have some organizational and service drawbacks, the competitive prices and wide selection make it a worthwhile option for shoppers in the area.
The BJs is not at standard compared to Gateway and other locations. Sometimes, products are not in stock but in the coupon flyers or website show are in the store. Don't ask customer service for assistance as the wait could be up to 15 min, and that is just in the line there. They paged for clean up at a check-out aisle and kept doing so: They were still paging when I left the store an hour later. Forget asking for an item that is higher up on the shelves. I waited in the checkout line for 1 1/2 hrs at last visit. Only reason did not leave as I promised to buy the items for a friend. Won't do that ever again!
The parking lot in front of the BJs store is a madhouse and usually busy. Many vehicles pulled up or parked, and illegal cabs out there soliciting shoppers. Better to park on top but there are rarely multiple elevators working. Which can mean waiting and crowding in or being rudely pushed as shoppers crowd around the doors to get in and out. Depending on where the shopping carts are left you might have to scout for one before you enter BJs. Parking near Petsmart is usually available, however, they have a shortage of carts so be prepared to carry your items around in your arms.
Customer service is absolutely horrible. These workers do not want to serve the customers at all Everytime I go there. I see other customers needing help as well and they go through the same and we share the same stories. Especially this woman who I guess is what you call a supervisor. She's horrible. She's rude and nasty to customers for no reason. I (along with others) had to put in a few complaints. If I could give this store a zero I would.
I heard they charge more in this specific BJs. They have a strange setup making it hard to find things. They have great produce section (berries and melons tasted great!). They also have the slowest 15 or less self checkout line. And the 15 or more self checkout line is slow because there is an employee checking EVERYTHING with the scanner in hand. Its basically like regular check out. Not recommended.
I noticed the petsmart sign while driving by and figured I'd pull over and check in. They had everything I wanted. It was great to see that they had an abundance of treats but I was very happy they had sweet potato sticks because they're my dogs favorite. All the shelves were well stocked so I was able to get a few other things. Let's just say he was very very happy
My new favorite place. I do not usually enjoy grocery shopping but recently for some reason have been getting a bit of delight going here. I like to stock up on juices and laundry supplies but you literally can get almost anything here. And if you cook often enough, you guaranteed to get what you need. Can even customize cakes..random fact but helpful and true lol
I like that its clean. Usually well stocked. Had an issue with a refund once but all forgiven. The clerk should have given me the correct process. It's not come back thats it. Involved checking cameras etc. However for the most part competent staff. Friendly check outs. Good for bargains on bulk items. Just don't go without a list or you can over spend easily!!
It is always fun to shop here. The staff are always helpful and go the extra mile to satisfy customers. Some Items are moved around which makes it fun to shop but I finally realized there is a method to the system. There is a self check out for a certain amount of items but the cashiers are very efficient and keep the lines moving. Fairly clean.
Was visiting from out of town and this place had most everything I needed. I went to the Dollar Tree for toiletries and snacks, Planet Fitness to keep my gym routine up and lastly the nail salon for mani and pedi. One stop shopping. Less one star for the planet fitness not having self locking lockers like most on the east coast.
This is where Bjs is located. This wholesale store has everything you can imagine. You buy in bulk. The prices that you paid 3 years has become so expensive. But you have eat. It's cheaper than buying at local supermarket. I love this place because so spacious. And no one is running you over with their shopping cart.
I visited B'Js and the Dollar Tree store while in Brooklyn. I went with Granny one day. One day, I went to buy some of those take-home plates. They didn't have the ones I was looking for. That was wasted time. But overall, Bjs is a decent store.
There's pretty much everything here. It's very much a one stop shopping plaza. Liquor store that's rather reasonable, dollar tree, BJ's, Dunking Donut, T-mobile, a gym, PetSmart, and others. Best part it's butted up to the Terminal Market.
I'm sure that others can relate to a Plaza where you can find what you're looking for. Multiple stores and you get a sense of getting things done. The best part is the BJ'S because you'll find pretty much what you're going for.
BJs is okay however if you need a motorized wheelchair they are NO keys because the ridiculous shoppers remove them and leave the carts stranded off premises. Now anyone in need is deeply inconvenienced. Total disgrace.
I shopped at BJ, one stop shopping which is great. My only issues are only two working elevators on a very busy Saturday and not enough cashiers. If you are planning on making any purchases go early in the morning.
The store has all kinds of stuff you can grab for the home. Great prices. Graduation cards 2 for $1. I grab a few because I have a number of students that are graduating and I was on my way to one of them …
This BJs is pretty good and whats tp be excepted from a BJs store. Shopping here you will find some hing you will want to purchase. There is free parkimg on top of the store as well as in the parking lot area.
This dollar tree has everything, the liquor store as a huge section of wines and different varieties. This Bjs is always stock and packed with people. Their meat from poultry to pork always fresh.
A shopping plaza in the heart of the community with many stores, including BJs and Dollar Tree. Ample parking, whether you're grabbing coffee at Dunkin Donuts of going to the gym.
Came in to pick up a few things. It was painless. Not crowded the time I went (10am) . Quick in and out. I like coming here they usually have everything I need
While I gave them poor reviews in the past. They got better. Parking still sucks. However BJ's has additional parking. There are a lot of shops and eaterys.
They have a Pizza Hut and a BJs, not to mention one of the most affordable liquor outlets around. Hope the better outlets stick around for awhile to come.
It's still very reliable, price efficient to a degree. I have been going there for at least 20 years. That says it all. My family goes also.
I like how they have a variety of stores. A decent size liquor store, Chinese food, Bjs and many other stores. Lots of parking
Bjs pretty good,I don't know why they charge to shop there You can just use a friend's card.roast beef is good.from the deli.
Wouldn't cancel my subscription over the phone,. They got over 200 bucks without me going to work out not one time smh
Picked up my BJ's membership card along with the purchase of my favorite beverage Kedem Grape Juice.
Great stores, wide selection. Parking is a bit busy but its not hard to find a spot.
Everything you need here lots of stick and lots of mixed drink you never heard of
It’s a cute Plaza…. I worked overnight at Bjs & shop for my pet food next door.
They are close to where I live and have a good variety of stores their
Great access the bJ's is to notch and the liquor store is great.
It's a very convenient pit stop for all ur needs
Really good place to shop and get a bite to eat
BJ's Supermarket is always a great experience
Awesome place to shop.
