The yard opposite from Isuzu is owned by a man named Alex, his sales person Darcy brought a 2008 black ford territory out to my home in Sunbury because I was heavily pregnant and could not drive out to the pakenham yard. Their online policy is they will bring the car for inspection to any customer who lives over 45 mins away from the yard so I thought that was handy. I left a $250 deposit with them to bring the car out that I was advised would be fully refundable if the car did not meet my expectations in any way. I also organised an RACV inspection on the car for the day it would be brought out to me. The RACV check occurred in my driveway when Darcy brought the car to my home. The RACV report was returned with faults recorded and I was not interested in purchasing the car. The car presented terribly, had not been detailed or roadworthied, had a lot of wear and tear, was filthy, the central locking did not work AT ALL and the car had some underlying mechanical issues. Since declining the purchase of the car I have not received my deposit back and Darcy has spent most of today relentlessly harassing me to provide them with the RACV report that I paid for so they can use it for another interested customer and in his words, "save them some money". I have repetitively declined to provide them with the RACV report I obtained and Darcy has continued to press me for it, claiming he "did me a favour" by bringing the ford territory out for inspection and I still have not received my $250 deposit back. I am absolutely appalled at this service and treatment, that I would be made to feel like I owe favours to a business who's online policy is to deliver vehicles for inspection to people who live more than 45 minutes away from the dealership. I am shocked that I would be expected to provide a personal and independent RACV report to them so they can save other customers money, and continue to be harassed for it while they hold onto my deposit. This dealer is fully aware that I am now 34 weeks pregnant and are doing nothing but causing my family stress all because we didn't want to purchase a car we simply asked to inspect. I felt a great pressure to purchase this car and was asked a number of invasive questions when I declined to buy it. I did not feel comfortable purchasing a $14,000 family car that did not meet the basic roadworthy requirements and was not presented according to the photos and description online. I am certainly not comfortable handing over an RACV report I paid $315 for to convinience their other potential buyers pocket. I feel extremely let down by my experience.

Recently just got my green P's and was looking for a nice one of a kind car that has its own character and is just different from all the generic cars that you see on the roads now. I am into 90s old classic Japanese cars and was looking for a Daihatsu Applause for some time. That make barely pops up anymore, but then I saw a red 94 Daihatsu Charade listed on Carsales one night and saved it to memory. The next day, my dad took me to the Dande car yards where everything was not clicking with me and the prices were a bit higher than I wanted to pay. So we stopped for coffee and churros and it was then I showed my Dad the listing from earlier. To our surprise Car Megamart was within a small distance from us, we called the place and came in touch with Luke of yard 7 (Big Lloyd's Car Sales), whom was kind enough to stay open for us to inspect and test drive the Charade although it was already late afternoon and near closing time. When we got there, he greeted us with a smile and showed us to the car. My Dad and I took it for a drive and liked the clean and presentable condition it was in, how well it drove despite being 26 years old and how low mileage it had done (59771km when I bought it). Due to some slight wear in the paint on the front end, Luke and Lloyd agreed to take $200 of the price for me and my dad and shortly after that I was sold, paid it off fully and took care of the paperwork, shook hands, hugged it up and drove off into the sunset. I am possibly the only 20 something guy crazy enough to go against the grain of championed safety, and drive and love this rare underrated underappreciated no frills beauty. Part of the reason I chose such a car aside from aesthetic and historic preservation, is that an older car like this will train the driver to depend on their instincts and skill rather than the clutches of fancy technologies and gizmos, they are great and all, but a car is still worth more than the sum of its parts. I was really impressed by the level of honesty, professionalism and genuineness that my father and I engaged with. Big Lloyd's is fair and firm in their dealings is very knowledgeable and pretty much eliminates your fears and pre-conceived notions you might have about buying a used car from a dealer. Registration, RWC and the transfer of the car into my name was all done by them which was also instrumental in my purchase of $3800. Definitely recommend this place and yard 7 specifically, and may just come back here myself one day if a family member or friend needs a car. Thanks again Luke and Lloyd.

Today myself and my parents visited Car Megamart in Pakenham, in response to an advertised 2015 Toyota Klugar my husband and I were interested in purchasing for our growing family. We couldn't find the car in the yard so we asked a short, bald salesman of Mediterranean appearance in 'Yard 3' (Gippsland Motor Group) to help us find said car (unsure of his name). After making an enquiry, he informed us that the car in question was not in the yard that day, and was instead being driven by another salesman on his day off. We were not aware this was a common practice, however were told (extremely rudely might I add) that this is normal practice at this car yard, and that they can 'do whatever they want'. Myself and my parents were quite shocked to hear that a car listed for sale would be driven recreationally by a car salesman. Due to the extreme rudeness of this arrogant salesman when we asked if that was normal practice, we told him that we would take our business elsewhere, and that they missed a sale. He replied with 'I doubt that'. Little did he know, I was in a position to buy that car upfront with cash. I would never buy a car from Car Megamart, and will be making sure I encourage all of my friends and family to stay away from this dealership, given the disgusting rudeness and arrogance from this salesman.

Showed interest in a car from pakenham Isuzu Ute and went to have a look. Took lt for a drive and signed a contract. Car was paid for and after being told again and again by Darcy they are getting it ready so it's perfect for me, 2 weeks later the car arrived. It wasn't perfect. Brake light was out, not detailed and has a coolant leak so un-drivable. Tried to sort out a repair as its under 3 month warranty and once again get the complete runaround. Their work shop asked for a quote and after giving it to them they start negotioiating with the mechanic to get the price down. 3 weeks on and still no repair. The funny thing is, this car overheated while they had it and all they did was replace a hose. It still overheats so they either don't know what they are doing or will try and save a buck at the expense of paying customers. I've had this $14000 car for over 3 weeks and haven't even driven it. Absolutely appalling customer service. A car purchase is a big life event, please do yourself a favour and don't risk these sharks. Learn from my mistake. DO NOT BUY FROM PAKENHAM ISUZU UTE

Would not recommend at all, bought a car from Victorian Motor Traders lot. Car had fairly high kms, would not budge in price but instead included a 12 month warranty. I said the next service coming up for this car is it's major service and would be costing upwards towards $1000. They said no worries we'll service it and change oil etc... Checked oil level and was below the minimum mark on dipstick. Done a oil change myself and replaced filter which was absolutely filthy so clearly they had done no service of any sort. Car ended up being delivered with one tail light out, hid headlights on there way out so when driving at night all of a sudden they would go out (dealer replaced these thankfully). Rude staff member, tried to talk partner into buying dearer cars other than what she decided on as he had seen the car I was driving was worth a bit and said to my partner surely you can buy something a bit dearer since you clearly have money. Lesson learnt, steer clear at all cost!

I recently purchased a used car from Car Megamart in Pakenham, Victoria. After finding the car had some mechanical issues in relation to brakes and engine, I became quite emotional and stressed. I was wrong to assume the Dealer knew of these issues prior to selling me the car and was unpleasant to him on the phone. Upon first hearing of these issues Paul was most sincere with an apology and assured me he used a Mechanic independent to his business. He then offered to pay $1000 towards repairs. This was exemplary service and after-care concern shown by Paul. I remain forever grateful and appreciative of his help concerning the matter and would recommend Paul to anyone looking at buying a used car. Many thanks again Paul My sincere apologies, Alison.

Didn't like the place, typical second hand dealers, most cars had high kilometers, wasted my time going there. I actually did not see or was offered a car with less kilometers than the old Nissan Patrol that I was driving. When asked about seconhand Pajeros they actually told me they were junk, thats because they had none. The reason the do not have any is they are popular and sell easily. Places like car Megamart end with the high kilometer cars etc that the new car dealers do not want. Stands to reason many good low kilometer cars sell easily.Or they are handed down (sold) privately among families or friends and rarely end up in places like Car Megamart.

These blokes are absolute sharks..buyer beware..purchased a hilux from them. When i seemed to be less interested as the car needed a new timing belt. they dropped the price by $1000..and got to the timing belt done at my own cost for $350 by there mechanic. Sounded like a deal. After i paid for the timing belt replacement i then proceeded to purchase the car. Because i used my visa i then had to pay an additional $270 for paying that way. This was not mentioned to me prior. Had the car 1 week and realised the front panel had popped out..now i need new panel clips..3 months on the suction control valve needs replacing..now my brakes need replacing.

Owen who was the sale person who ive dealt with. Absolutely horrible experience. The sale person showed no interest when dealing with me. I came in enquire about a compact SUV for me and my wife. I may look young but that doesnnt mean i do not have money. He acted as if im just there to test drive for funn and not serious about buying. I drove 45 mins to look at the car i wanted and would have bought it if he did not give me such attitude towards me and my wife. We went away bought the same car somewhere else. it just show how judgemental Owen is. Please do not go to car yard number 2 or 3 at this place or you will regret it

For quite some time I wanted to replace my vehicle for a smaller car but wasn't looking forward to 'the hunt' so I was procrastinating. My family suggested a visit to Car Megamart which not only resulted in my finding a vehicle to perfectly suit my needs but the sales consultant, Lloyd Collinson, made the experience a joy. Lloyd answered my many questions with ease, no frills or pressure. The paperwork was thoroughly explained, the vehicle was available for me to drive away in 5 days beautifully presented and I was made feel like a valued customer. Do not buy a car from this place.. I purchased a “road worthy drive away” car for $6750 on the 30th/MARCH (VTM)Victoria traders motor car dealer. The second week car was leaking oil. and last two weeks the oil light wasn’t turning OFF the engine started rattling constantly! Went to my mechanics for an engine fault diagnosis, they found an excessive amount of metal flakes in oil sum , and required an engine rebuilt . They are a punch of doggy people ( Stubbs mechanic Pakenham and car dealership) my advice don’t go there . I don’t want these guys to do it again to any Australian family .

Absolutely appalling. Was sold a BMW with conditions of it being serviced before selling as well as including a 12 MONTH warranty. Car was not serviced as promised upon picking up the car as well as minor interior repairs that the sales man Paddy promised would be fixed. 5 months later we are having car troubles and have had to contact Paddy regarding warranty. Not only did he dodge our calls for 3 weeks but has turned around and says there never was one- Despite what our paperwork says. What a disgrace. Never trust this dealership. Complete rats.

Do not buy a car from this place.. I purchased a “road worthy drive away” car for $12,900 and within a couple days after the “cool off period” the oil light wasn’t turning off the engine started rattling constantly! Went to my mechanics for an engine fault diagnosis, timing chain needs replacing the engine has low oil pressure.. slump build up removal!! They refused a refund cause it’s past the “cool off period” I’ve gotten consumer affairs involved now I refuse to keep this car for the money I paid.

The Megamart is a great place to buy a car. Big Lloyd’s cars was where I had to look no further for the car I wanted. The nicest guys you will ever meet in this industry. Lloyd & son Luke we’re always professional in every aspect of buying a car. These guys went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I was at all times comfortable with the process. CAUTION! Saw a car online at  Pakenham Isuzu Used Cars here in car megamart. Salesman reluctant to start the car for me unless I made him an offer. Car was in terrible shape and I noticed coolant leaks and cracked oil filler. Then told me the motor was actually reconditioned as the previous owner ruined it. If I didn't know about cars he would have taken advantage of someone. CAUTION!! Very rude arrogant people. Car was a ford xr5 turbo.

Bought a Holden cruze if you guys, have had problem after problem with it, originally sold it to me knowing it had something wrong with the coolant radiator and oil leaking in to it but didn’t tell me before I bought it. Took me 3 years to save the money for my first car and now the thing is sitting in my drive way undriveable. After my terrible experience and many visits to the machnics, I would never ever recommend you to anyone.

They put new leather seats in front and back, arranged our new bullbar, side steps and side rails to be installed and even sent progress pictures and delivered it all the way to Daylesford for us. dont buy from here, they flat out lie about the history of their cars. they sold me a car that needed fixing straight away and it took over a month to get it done. I asked if the car had ever been in a crash and they said no but when i bought it to my mechanic he popped the hood and showed me where they glued parts together. I lost my 5 year warranty because of it that they said i had. Real sharks. Please avoid at all cost

Beware.. these scammers won’t tell you that their in-house “brokers” charge $1,100 just to put an application through their system to get a pre approval for car finance. This is a clear sign to not trust this dealership as we got to know about the fees once the credit check was already done. An ethical dealer or broker will confirm the hidden fees before they put a credit check, but not these guys.

Purchased Hyundai Sonata, my first car last week!! With Gippsland…. The car looks brand new, drives very smoothly, maintained very neat and clean. Luke was the guy who was always there to answer my questions and Gary was the loan guy who did all the paper work well in advance… overall I am very satisfied with their services and level of professionalism. Bought a prado 2004 grande with lots of km’s on in fantastic condition. Got it home and it used 2 litres of coolant in 400km. Spoke to Paddy, our salesman and within 2 weeks the head gaskets were replaced. An excellent outcome and very appreciative of Paddy’s service and communication. A very happy customer. Thank you

Since COVID stopped a lot of shipping whats left in the second hand car yards is not great. Every vehicle had issues that were concerning, ranging from odd rattles to hidden damage to poor idling. Can't really recommend this place at the moment, but I reckon that once supply increases you'll see better vehicles here.

We were looking around for a 2nd hand caravan, Steve the salesman and Cheralyn the deputy manager were absolutely fantastic. There was no hard sell and lots of support and advice throughout the process. They sorted the paperwork and had the van serviced before handover and training.

This place isn't bad. The salespeople I dealt with across several dealerships were mostly polite and helpful. All gave 'take your time' test drives without being accompanied by the staff member, which is really important to get a proper feel for what will be a large purchase.

Place feels 10x better than Car City, nicely laid out and lovely people. Car we got snapped the serpentine belt in half within the first day (7 year old car) so was a bit of a dissapoitment but not a fault of Car Mega.

Fantastic destination. So many cars on offer with finance on site and makes buying a car very easy. Had lunch at the cafe and wow epic burgers , wraps coffee and more! Very much worth a visit this place has it all.

There's a good selection of cars there for you to choose from. The pricing is quite variable but appear to beat the primary car yards on the main roads. The cafe there is very good and I highly recommend it.

I like the sheer number of cars to check out. It's actually a group of seperate companies that share the space so competition between them should be fairly high.
