Although the park is one of the best in the city for birdwatching, I have been to this park at least twelve times this year trying to see two male harlequin ducks, and literally every day I go they are either spotted upriver when I'm there or are just absent. Would rate higher if the ducks did not have a personal vendetta against me.

Beautiful park. Dog-friendly. River access, and fishing and boating areas. A friendly guy let us know they have pond skating with fire pits in the winter. Skate shack with washrooms. Fair amount of paved paths, and if you have a stroller with big wheels you can access a lot of non-paved paths.

Nice enough parking lot. There are bathrooms and trash cans easily accessible. It can get pretty busy on weekends when the weather is nice, but I've always found a spot. Carburn Park itself is a great park to have in the city. Lots of trails so you can usually get some space if you want it.

Carburn Park is a gem in the middle of the city. With trails ranging from pavement wide enough for two strollers to hints of “path” through trees, there’s a nature walk for everyone. Lots of birds (and birdwatchers), and helpful pictures of what to look for on every garbage can.

Small, calm lake to try stand up paddleboarding for the first time. Even with the wind, it was fun to practice. Walk from car park to lake is less than 5 minutes. Washrooms available at the back of the building next to the car park. Plenty of picnic tables.

We had our son's birthday celebration there . Very nice park with a river view. There is a picnic spot under cover which makes it super convenient if you have 20+ guests. You have to come early to get this spot .it's first come first served.

It is a jewel in the city's southeast—a beautiful pathway for a walk or bicycle ride. The pathway connects you to Bow Valley Ranch on one side an to Inglewood to the other side. I have done both, and I recommend you to do it as well. You

There was lots of parking during the day on a Friday morning at 11:30 am when I went and it was a beautiful walk with well maintained pathways and not too many people. I parked almost a close to the start of the path as you can.

Carburn Park is beautiful. Great walking trails, with many benches & picnic tables along the way. The biking paths are also popular. The building has good, clean bathrooms, if needed. Overall, wonderful location. I love it.

If you have a vehicle to park, Carburn Park vehicle parking is the place to do it. While you're waiting for your vehicle to finish up, check out the lagoon, trails and the river. Nice place to bike, canoe, fish, swim...

Beautiful Place for a walk in nature. Lots of trails and pathways. In the summer their planters are gorgeous. Can walk along the Bow River or around the big pond. Ice skating in the winter. Lots of picnic tables.

We really enjoyed our visit today. Last time we came we could have sworn it was a dog run. So many, toooo many dogs. Today so much better. Look forward to our next visit when all the big flower planters are out.

Lots of benches, rental picnic and fire pits. Skating in the winter, city run canoe SUP courses. Washrooms are available. Lots of great flowers and trees around the lagoons and paths along the Bow 'Riverbend'

  • Christine Maurette

Great place for family picnics and ice skating. There are public washrooms here and screened fire pits maintained by the staff. Great place to park and access the Sue Higgins park via the bridge over the Bow.

There’s many trails to explore. However, you can constantly hear the distant hum of traffic coming from Deerfoot Trail. Other than that, the park is very nice and there’s lots of wildlife to spot.

there are tons of trails here! along some paths, there are informative posters with photographs on local flora and fauna that are adorable!! some of the ponds also have little snails!

This is such a lovely inner city park visit. The ability to see all forms of wildlife from deer to watching the Eagles soar across the river is just a wonderful way to start the day.

  • Darlene Abraham

This is definitely one of our FAVOURITE city parks... we get to walk along the Bow watching geese, a variety of ducks and other waterfowl as well as meander through the forest!

  • Oswaldo Plascencia

Beautiful park. Great place to enjoy nature without leaving the city. I am sad to say that the family of bob cats that live there have scared many people.

  • Nancy Wijngaarde

Very good as long as you get there around dinnertime weekdays and Sunday but .not in the morning on weekends.Totally packed then

I hate how word is spreading about this park. It's stunning in all 4 seasons but please don't come here. It's getting too busy.
