"I love this place, I especially love the Mexican soups served here"
"One of my favorite places to shop for fresh produce because they have such high turnover and low prices on common items"
"Cardenas is a great place to get anything you need to make Mexican food"
"This is an okay Cardenas but the customer service is awful when ordering food you just stand there forever until they "feel" like helping you, and they will NEVER answer their phone so just go inside the store"
"They were amazing"
I love this place, I especially love the Mexican soups served here. There is a dining area where you can sit down and eat your food too, with napkins, spoons, forks and knives. The hot food stops serving at 8pm, it used to close at 8:30pm I think. There’s also self-checkout available for if you need to buy and go go go! …
One of my favorite places to shop for fresh produce because they have such high turnover and low prices on common items. For the most part, there's always at least one employee maintaining the produce department. My only complaints are that it's not very easy to be in and out quickly and the parking lot is always so packed.
Cardenas is a great place to get anything you need to make Mexican food. The fruit is super cheap compared to any other store. They also have a large meat section and sweet bread. Last time we were here is was super packed but that just shows how good the stores products are.
This is an okay Cardenas but the customer service is awful when ordering food you just stand there forever until they "feel" like helping you, and they will NEVER answer their phone so just go inside the store. However their produce is NICE and FRESH that I stand by 100%.
They were amazing...went out of their way to help me find the Gazebo that was on sale..especially Marciela and the gentleman who was mopping the floors and helping everyone...even the Store Manager stepped in to help...also. the food I bought is excellent...Nolan
I shop at a different Cardenas for the fresh produce and meats regularly but had to use the restroom at this location a few weeks ago and was pleased to find it available and clean. Friendly staff led me to the door and punched in the code for me. Thanks!
Person in charge of deli doesn't know how to staff their department any day of the week long line that takes an upwards of 15 minutes just to buy simple items such as chicarron botanero, I wonder how badly this place gets when it's an actual holiday.....
The staff is friendly. You can order all types of meats and they will cut it to your preference. They also have prepared food that is delicious with good prices. There's plenty of space to move around. The Mexican bread is really good. Love the place!
Poor customer service. I’ve asked twice for items I can’t find but staff wasn’t pleasant and the second time, the lady gave me a sight as if I’m bothering her. Management should be training their staff to be professional and courteous with customers.
This place is unbelievable a little piece of Mexico right here in your backyard . The Food is authentic homemade tortillas this place is awesome . Seafood is great the meat looks excellent on display ready for the next BBQ.. Fresh fruit and
I recently stopped by Cardenas Supermarket for a quick grocery run, primarily focusing on fresh produce. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for the items I needed, which included bell peppers, lettuce, cucumbers, and a few
Terrible service, the employee in the cheese produce Antonia is a very rude person that should be terminated for not knowing simple mathematics. I asked for 1/4 of cheese gives me a pound, I tell how to read the scale and still gives wrong
Today at about 4:00 pm we went to get tacos, we ordered 5 asada and 3 mixed. I was really disappointed with my tacos oily tortillas. They didn’t put any salsa, the meat was not fresh, it seemed like it was the left overs from a day before.
I have a shout-out to Mi Pueblo... Went in to use the restroom cuz the one at Starbucks is out of order, and that was my first experience of everything in their store. I've got to tell you that I always knew the Latin population to be good
Not the best Cardenas, the other one near the O’Reilys seems to be better. We’ve been here when it used to be Mi Pueblo and Mi Pueblo was way better than what it is now. The quality of everything has gone down and I think what has affected
Cardenas Market I would have given four stars. But today was the worst experience ever. Cardenas makes Fresh Flour Tortillas. We usually go there and buy Vegetables and Tortillas from there almost every week or two weeks and keep in the
I prefer this store from the other Mi pueblos. To me it seems to be much bigger and much cleaner than the others. They have a bakery with delicious pastries, I guess the only thing I don't like is that sometimes the people in the bakery
I needed a birthday cake so I noticed this supermarket. I was sure they had cakes so I checked the bakery section and there was a pretty good selection of different cakes available. They were very well decorated and I was happy with the
Every time it is getting worst and worst I would give cero star if I could this place is nothing compared with mi pueblo bad quality of products, bad customer service and the cashiers takes for ever 2 customer front of me order food and
I like this store. I shop there often because their meat section is great. The part I like is, you have to take a number to get serviced so no one jumping ahead of you. The staff is nice and polite, too. Prices for the meat section is
Sad to say but cardenas staff not to good standard. It could be many reasons but still a customer should be serve. To cardenas expectations i believe. To add we have always buy corn tortillas. When the tortillas are heat on skill
Exceptional experience from walking in the door to packing groceries into car chatting with cart runner. Fresh meat prices a lot higher than Mi Pueblo though. And no more store made beef jerky, very disappointed about that.
One of my school teachers was belittled here today because she was white and didn't speak spanish. She was distraught and very emotional. She's a tough woman, because she has to be with being a special needs teacher.
I enjoyed everything this grocery store had to offer. What’s more is that it has a section to eat fresh hot food and they have aqua frescas. Great place shop, eat and drink! How can this place not be great!?!? …
The lady at the register scammed my grandmother. She took her credit card and switched it with a different one. My grandmother didn’t notice until later. Her credit card was charged with numerous transactions.
It’s like stepping into Mexico without leaving the border. The shop is clean, bright and organized. It carries authentic Mexican groceries and hot food served on the premises in a spacious area of the store.
It’s really big grocery store and broad parking lot . Good service. Helpful staff . Fresh fruits and vegetables. A large variety of Vegetarian and non vegetarian products are available in this store . …
Enjoy the Mexican grocery stuff here. Large and with lots of varieties in the store. And the best deal is from Friday to Sunday. You also need to watch out carefully about the "2 for $.99" deal. Some are 2
I really like buying fresh fruits and veggies from here.Overall great price wise and they have almost everything you will need .Great place to buy some local Mexican groceries.will definitely come back.
Today i bought 2 diff marinated pollo on sale for 3.99 a pound, low & behold as soon as i started cooking the red one it stunk my house up..it's spoiled. Be careful, I'm trying to call now no answer.
Strongly recommend check out their weekly ads for great deals such as their fruit and vegetable which are fresh and cheap. Main issue I have with store are 1. They open few aisle for checkout line
I like the meat counter and fresh vegetables. They are doing better with more cashiers during the social distancing. There's also a kitchen offering To Go selections. I don't care for the tamales.
Good prices on produce. Meat/ deli section has a large selection of meats. Most of the workers are kind and helpful. I was looking for a rare Mexican spice. They helped me find it!!
Used to be Mi Pueblo Markets. Great selection of meats and/or or a butcher to fulfill you needs. Could you have friendlier cashiers? And I guess they did away with their
Old dirty sluced lemons & onions on my Carnita tacos. Disappointed. Please throe away old good & DO NOT recycle & resell your food at the food court!!!
This place is super nice. The employees are very helpful but a bit too shy, but you can't hate someone for being shy. Very clean and organized.
My experience was great I couldn't find everything where they need. When I cannot find something. I ask the workers where I can find the Item.
It's a big store, you can find whatever you want but be ready to experience racism if you're black. I experienced it more than twice.
Very clean, organized and spacious so your not so close to each other. Fresh veggies, fruit and meats is why we go here all the time.
Good prices for the most part. However, not a store that you just pop into for 1 or 2 items. The lines are usually too long for that.
I like their selection when it comes to Mexican products that are hard to find elsewhere, but it's also very limited in produce.
It is large size super market. Mainly Mexican products. Not fresh vegetables and many of veggies are frozen with low quality.
First time walking into a Mi Pueblo and I loved it. It felt like walking into a different country's grocery store.
Meat departments are plentiful, most vegetables are fresh. Prices are reasonable. Not enough cashier
Every Wednesday some veggies are low price, and Thursday some meat and shrimp may be cheap.
Love their meat dept big variety at great prices and very friendly too
THE BEST FLOWERS in East San Jose inside a good super market
The meat was fresh and delicious goo service
The cakes from this store very bad
