I consistently rent from this company for several reasons, 1 Price and dependability of vehicles. 2. Customer Service; Bryan and Darren are just awesome- working with my deadlines, finding me specifics. 3. Good selection of vehicles, so if its a truck, suv, or a sedan, they always have something I want and will shuffle to get what I need. I do rent for short and long terms, and I have increased the times I have rented from them, but my experience has always been the same 10 out of 10- whether I was a 1 time rental, or a 5 month rental.

Some friends from out of the country had a last minute requirement for a full size passenger van as their reservation with another company had fallen through. Brian and his team at Upper Wentworth Carter Car & Truck Rentals stepped up and had the passenger van ready within the hour. No other company in Hamilton that was contacted came close to the level of service they offered. My friends were very happy with the service and were on their way. Rented a car for 3 days while our car would be at mechanic shop. On May 4th 2018 Hamilton was hit hard with Winds of up to 127 km per hour. I had a huge tree fall on my car that is yet to be removed. I called all over Hamilton to try and find a rental vehicle, when I finally spoke with Bryan Smith from Carter rentals on upper Ottawa he went up and above to try and find me a vehicle. Skip the airport car rental companies. Take a 15 minute taxi or Uber to 1020 Upper Wellington . Save money. Better service. Everything about the experience was excellent. I've worked behind the counter at a rental agency and I've rented cars all over the world. Manager Brian Smith went way beyond the call of duty providing a lift to the airport.

Bryan Smith, the manager, is a perfect exmple of why one should rent a vehicle from this company. After we turned our car in, it was the end of the day and he kindly drove us to the airport. What you can expect from Carter's is low pricing, courteous, helpful and "going out of one's way" service. I highly recommend Carter Car and Truck Rentals.
