First time ordering shredded chicken quesadillas, with guacamole and chips was so delicious here! The second time around we decided to order grilled chicken quesadillas, they were alright but the shredded chicken quesadillas were even better. The only negative experience we had was with the grilled chicken, it was rubbery while chewing but there is a blast of flavor. We were also bummed that first time we asked for guacamole and chips we were given a decent size. Second time around they just gave us a scoop of guacamole for same price. Not sure if it's up to the person who prepared it but we did notice it was a different person this time. Other then that we do recommend stopping by if you are looking for authentic Mexican food! So delicious. We will be back soon!

I have been eyeing this spot on one of my routes for work for a couple of months. Today I decided to stop in for brunch since I was too hungry to wait for lunch. First of all, I can’t tell you the last time I was able to eat a quality meal for under $5.00. I’m not a heavy eater, I ordered a shredded beef taco, rice and beans. They won me over, and I am not easy to please when it comes to Mexican food. Having a family full of cooks and being a cook myself of traditional recipes passed on for generations, this is never an easy task for a new restaurant I am trying out. I have a small selection of places in AZ that I will eat Mexican food from, Casa Jalisco is now one of them :) Try it out, trust your local native foodie!

Oh for the love of carnitas, this is what happens when the best mexican food ever makes a baby with your favorite memory. Skip the chips (even though those are hella good, the salsa is killer) BUT you’re going to want to save the space for the enchiladas and burritos and street tacos. Youre going to hate yourself for not having enough room for it. Mini chimis?…yes plz. Fundito?…dont mind if I do. Breakfast?…read my mind. Gentlemen, if shes too skinny..bring her here and bring a stopwatch. Those tacos are about to VANISH.

Would definitely return after our first experience here! We had the Carne Asada Quesadilla and Carne Asada Burrito. The meat was so flavorful! The tortillas are delicious. They took care to make sure there was no accidental contamination for a food allergy and clearly marked the food containers. Customer service is great! We almost walked out without our drinks and they made sure we didn't forget them. They provide a small bag of chips with salsa for free with order. The hot sauce has a nice kick and good flavor. We dipped the quesadilla in it like We took home our meal and it was still hot with melty cheese 6 miles later!

We got the Carnitas Burrito and the tacos (quesssbirria + carnitas). Burrito was pretty good and enjoyed the guacamole and pico inside. I thought the queso fundido would be good but it had way too much cream cheese in it making it too tangy. I would’ve preferred just melted cheddar cheese over the top or something. The tacos were good. Nothing extraordinary. I’m giving 5 stars mainly because I felt like the value of what you get was pretty great. I believe they could charge a couple bucks more for their burritos. Also, I would love to see a salsa bar!

If you’re looking for a delicious bowl of menudo with authentic rich favor… THIS NOT THE Restaurant!! There is NO FLAVOR, the serving bowl is small and you get more soup juices than meat or Corn. I am not sure about the other food here, maybe it’s delicious or maybe not… But I am not willing to risk it… Owners- if you going to sell tasteless Menudo, at least don’t be cheap about the serving portions, allow people to at least get full off of your tasteless food your selling.

Awesome food, hole in the wall restaurant that needs a better space...I've eaten a lot of Mexican food, and this is the bomb! Whoever the chef is, keep them! Our usual go to is el encanto, in Cave Creek, and honestly this is worlds better... actual flavor (el encanto has been lacking for years). Àwesome food, good prices, zero ambiance. They need music instead of cartoons / tv. Kill the tv. Hopefully the owners will expand the business, it needs a better space, better ambiance. The food is top notch, the space doesn't fit the quality of the food.

We visited Casa Jalisco Mexican Restaurant and absolutely loved the food. This is a family owned business and the owners and staff provided excellent customer service. We had the chimichanga plate, the carne asada plate, and the chicken quesadilla plate. The food was delicious and fresh! If your looking for authentic Mexican food with homemade tortillas, this is the place to go to. We will come back again and recommend Casa Jalisco Mexican Restaurant 100%.

First time here...... I was getting coffee nextdoor and seen them. So looked up their reviews and pictures and thought, why not!!! 5 f-ing stars from me! I got the beef enchiladas, red sauce, with beans and rice. My dad got the chili relleno plate and we got a few extra tacos. The enchiladas were absolutely amazing and that green sauce for the tacos, I'd take literal shots of that stuff. The salsa they give you with the chips, is extremely great also! New favorite place!!!

Ordered the green Chile tamales plate and they were honestly the worst tamales I’ve ever had. I grew up with authentic Mexican cooking and these tamales did not resemble anything close to what they should be. I’m not picky AT ALL, I’ll eat just about everything but they had no green Chile at all it was just sweet dough with a couple corn kernels inside. Super disappointing. Also what Mexican restaurant doesn’t add salsa packets by default when tacos are ordered?

Forgot to take a picture beforehand, but it was so delicious I ate the whole thing. Beef chimichanga combo plate. Perfect amount of food. Salsa was very good, actually has flavor to it. Good, tasty food. The place really needs to be cleaned and updated. There is a caked layer of dust and dirt on the ceiling fans and decorations. I feel like when they turn them on its all going to fall in the food. The ceiling tiles are all stained. Tables and floor were dirty.

I'd give it a 0 stars if I could. I had the carne asada plate. No flavor on the meat at all! The refried beans were terrible. My wife had a chicken chimichang and I would put money that the chicken, which also had no seasoning, was from a can. Gross and never again. If you want real Mexican food you'd better find another place.

Went for the first time and enjoyed a really tasty cheese enchilada and taco lunch special. The waiter brought me more salsa when he noticed I was out. I went back for taco Tuesday and the food was bland and no one was around to bring extra salsa. Without it the chicken taco was completely tasteless. Hit or miss, I guess. Pretty sure that this place is fudging their reviews.

Great experience and really good food! We visited for taco Tuesday, so we were able to try a few different meats. The chicken and beef crispy tacos were delicious. We also had the shredded beef quesadilla which was incredible! Lots of flavor, and they don't skimp on fillings. The beef was so tender, so I will definitely be getting that again. The salsa was very good too.

I've never written a restaurant review before, but this place deserves mention. The food really is fantastic. Tortillas, salsas, beans and rice, all fresh and tasty. I've been to Mexican restaurants all over Phoenix and this really is one of the best. Not a place for a date, but for take out I can't recommend another place that's better.

This is one of my favorites. I eat here at least once a week and it’s never a let down. Love the chips and salsa! Carne asada plate is incredible! I love the green Chile corn tamalas and the chicken enchiladas. The burritos are awesome. Also, try the dessert!!

We ordered the chicken fajitas and a chicken burrito. The food was almost inedible. The chicken was clearly the prepackaged fake grill mark sliced chicken you can buy from a local grocery store and had a rubbery texture. In terms of flavor the food was rather bland.

Came here for a quick dinner on a Saturday night. Happily surprised the special was birria, which we have been wanting. The salsa and hot sauce were beyond delicious. Carne asada quesadilla also delicious. And the Birria was amazing. We will 1000% be coming back

My boyfriend and I love Casa Jalisco! Online ordering is super convenient and they always have it done early. You really get a lot of bang for your buck and everything tastes amazing. I’ve never been disappointed; by far my favorite place to get Mexican food.

Don’t trust the hours. They close early without warning. Here at 8:40 pm already closed. 2nd time this has happened so I guess they close whenever they want. Other people here turned away seems like bad business if your open until 9 be open!!

They have not been open for a year yet, but they are already doing everything right. The food is prepared quickly and is always delicious. I can't choose a favorite. The dining room is clean and currently spaced for seating distancing.

This place is amazing, we used to eat at Valle Luna and Top Shelf for Mexican food, we will be eating here from now on. Pollo Fundito is great. Its dangerous because its so close to home. I'm going to try the breakfast burrito next.

Guy that takes the order over the phone has mad attitude for no reason. I ignored it Becuase I wanted to try the food. When I got there he still had the same attitude and I canceled my order with them. He’s lucky that’s all I did.

We did pickup. Food was cold. My Carne asada was cut up in little pieces and most were very overcooked. Will never order from them again. .

Shrimp Tacos and birria tacos were delicious! Everything else that we ordered was average. Good, but not great.

Darn tasty. Rich spices and flavours. Chille rellenos are delicious, as are the grilled veggies and salsas.

Beef tacos were delicious. Can't wait to try rest of the menu.
