Park
"Good place to take children to play on the playground, have a picnic on the grass or at on of the table under shelter while watching people play sport on the grass around tables or just go there to relax reading a book"
"I can't believe I've always missed the Heritage Park, but I suppose it is tucked away somewhat"
"A beautiful big parkland carved out with very tall trees and big hills"
"Great place for a quick walk with amazingly maintained playgrounds and dog park"
"Nice, very large environment"
Good place to take children to play on the playground, have a picnic on the grass or at on of the table under shelter while watching people play sport on the grass around tables or just go there to relax reading a book. Make sure you take sanitizer with you to use AFTER washing your hands at the toilets, the drain area in hand basins is so built up with muck & slime, looks like it hasn't been cleaned since Covid19.
Playground
Quite nice even Has a seated mini flying fox.
Restrooms
Cold stainless steel toilets with 'pathetic' a double & single flush especially in the baby change & disabled toilet where double flush DOES NOT WORK, single won't even remove a small amount of toilet paper & absolutely disgusting filthy drain hole in hand basin. A nice breeding area for all sorts of germs.
Dog-friendliness
Lots of people walk their dogs through the park or have them sitting beside them at covered picnic tables.
Picnic area
There's a few covered areas with 2 timber picnic tables underneath.
I can't believe I've always missed the Heritage Park, but I suppose it is tucked away somewhat. I happened upon it on one of my rides and knew my girls would love it, I headed home and got them for a little adventure. Sure enough, they loved the playground (zip line is always an easy win), and the path around the park was really interesting with all the facts about the Park's origins. I was just as interested as my little girls. It's great how there are ample shaded picnic tables, and even a shaded slippery-dip (those metallic slippery-dips can get really hot in the sun). I think next time I'll bring lunch and some more drink so we can do more walking
Playground
Modern playground - probably best suited to smaller kids
Restrooms
Restrooms were clean and well-maintained
Dog-friendliness
Definitely dog-friendly...had a few getting around the park today
Picnic area
Whole bunch of picnic tables, and ample grass if you want to just sit, including some shaded areas
A beautiful big parkland carved out with very tall trees and big hills. Huge open greenfields and a new playground for the kids. Some big Huts and plenty of barbecue spots. Only downside was the parking. EXTREMELY BUSY But very happy to discover this beautiful place, It has a very pleasant atmosphere, everyone was out picnicking and catching up with family and friends. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around the whole park with the family (2 prams) also no problem
Great place for a quick walk with amazingly maintained playgrounds and dog park. Can see a lot of kids play in basketball court, closed cricket practice course, tennis, running track and so on. Good place to spend your evening in a calm and serene manner.

You can take blankets or chair to enjoy your own time away from kids’ swings. There is a long and beautiful trek for walking. View from the top is great.
A great place for jogging and walking with dogs. There are many tables and chairs. A good place for picnic and relaxing. A good size of playground for kids. The park is quiet during the weekdays and weekends are usually busy with birthday party and gathering.
Nice place for a walk, beautiful park. There is a zone for families with children. Toilets and bbq area are close by. And the area without any entertainment facilities where one can practice sports, read or just rest.
It’s a great place for family gatherings and picnics. From the upper hills you can see a great view. If you enjoy running for exercise it’s good for it as well.
Restrooms
Clean and nice.
