"It's fun to go to there is a lot of places to go in the mall there is 2 floors and it's amazing they even have things for kids and I mean there is a rubber duck claw and a mary-go-round under the sea theam and cotein candy and other fun rides for the Lil kids and one of my favorite places to go in the mall is the t-shirt place I'm not sure what it's called but you can get custom ts and you can put anything on it, I think he (the owner) has some smaller limits"
Security in the past have been overbearing & weird. Ruined it for me completely. Plus the info booth people are ill-informed. Acquiring a monthly bus pass was impossible. Had to buy tickets instead. I have acquired PTSD from how some of the security & kiosk staff & some store staff have treated me in the past. The previous security staff(last summer) swarmed me for no reason almost ran I am a paying customer. Last time I was there, I had one new security person keep spare me. Security had Me arrested for trespassing when I wasn't even in the mall. I was on a bus heading home to my tent. I lost quite a lot while encarcerated. My property ended up going missing from a locker @ the station. The Hudson's Bay Company is wonderful as always. Impeccable really. Clean & lovely staff. Shoppers drug mart pharmacy staff are wonderful & professional. I do not approve, however of the attitudes in the Beauty Department. They were extremely suspicious. The sundry kiosk is wonderful. Great selection. Dollar store in the basement is wonderful. Plus there is a. Bitcoin changer machine that changes your Bitcoin currency to cash for an exchange rate in the hallway en route to the washrooms on the second floor. Thanks Cat Centre for improving since then! Just wish I hadn't been arrested from for trespassing. I was a paying customer. Security issued a verbal no trespassing order cuz I pulled my mask down to eat in the foodcourt. How did they even know about my property? Strange!?
Thai Express My daughter was anxious to try their tomyum soup as lite snack but was very disappointed with the taste. The broth was tasteless , it had a funky smell and lacked seasoning. When I took the entire bowl to the person at the counter snd informed him of experience he just looked at me with a blank look and turned away. I walked over to the waste station and placed it on the bin and as I walked past the the restaurant I shook my head and said not good, not good. They did not so much offer an apology or made any attempt to rectify the matter instead they looked at me like deer in the headlights. I will never go there again. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
The first time I had been at this mall and was very impressed. The mall itself was so clean and bright. Went in several stores Reitmans where the staff did not even acknowledge our existence in the store. Went to Cleo's and the staff was absolutely amazing, very helpful, accommodating, lots of suggestions and generally cared. Men's dept at the Bay were also helpful not at all pushy and all around pleasant. Both Cleo's and the Bay offered to order a particular size in to the store or ship to our residence. Personally I would highly recommend this mall you will not be disappointed. Mid size mall not like the Eaton Centre or the Vaughan Malls but neither are the prices.
This feels like a 'humble' mall but the people who work here and the customers provide a nice vibe to this place. They have nice stores with broad variety that the mall is 'useful'. The food court has the right mix of food types and there's plenty of seating. The staff here keep the place clean and it was very pleasant. There's also plenty of parking available. The bus exchange in front of the mall makes this super convenient for those who use public transport. The place is just clean everywhere, including the bathroom. Overall, a very nice place to relax, do some shopping, have some food or just hang out.
It's fun to go to there is a lot of places to go in the mall there is 2 floors and it's amazing they even have things for kids and I mean there is a rubber duck claw and a mary-go-round under the sea theam and cotein candy and other fun rides for the Lil kids and one of my favorite places to go in the mall is the t-shirt place I'm not sure what it's called but you can get custom ts and you can put anything on it, I think he (the owner) has some smaller limits. Overall highest recommend from me.
One of the few things to do in Kingston in the winter time. Has the standard shops as any mall. New LL Bean is a good addition. The chapter store/ indigo has a good selection. Had some dealings with the mall management for looking to put a pop up store in there but was not impressed and the prices were too high given the volume of traffic even at Christmas time. I would like to see them all a little bit more involved with the community not the shops per se but the mall management itself.
Sadly this mall is oudated and lacking any reason for me to visit again. The washrooms are incredibly pristine and modern but the mall itself has no appeal or character and the stores are basic that you will find at any strip mall. There were no great finds or stores worth going into and the prices are high for basic polyester and fast fashion. Food court is sad and no healthy options offered. Don't waste your time here.
Good mall. Very clean and tidy. Lots of different stores. As with all malls it seems, there are vacant stores. But the way the mall is set up, you can't really pinpoint many that are closed. They have murals and what not to decorate the areas where there are empty stores. Lots of variety in the food court as well. Ample parking outside. Will go back again.
Always a good experience. Good mix of top stores and food. Has a Sportchek and a Hudson Bay attached. If you're looking for Music, fashion, toys , electronics, you can find them all here. Quick and convenient bus routes to and from the mall. One of the better malls I've visited in different cities. Can be busy but never feels like it's super crowded.
Excellent food variety and lovely staff at the one’s I’ve tried. There is a lovely variety of stores for kids clothing and sportswear, perfect for back to school shopping. The Bell in the mall is great too easy access for help w home services. Only problem is lack of seating throughout the mall for older folk like me.. probably from Covid times..
As others have noted, part of the mall is empty following the closure of Sears. Even with that, the mall is rather fill with businesses that more than make up the needs. HBC is still an anchor store. Overall, the mall has a modern look and is connected well by public transit. Bring far from the city centre is the real drawback.
One of the largest malls in Kingston, a great place to hang out with friends, nice and big foodcourt, and ample shops to buy all the things you need at one place. You can always take help of the map provided on the entrance or can ask any shopkeepers, they will provide you help nicely.
Malls are dying, they used to be cool. Instead, support small local independent traders and markets. Better still, get skilled up, quit the job you hate and make stuff and sell it all local markets or online and feel good about being creative and sticking it to the man. Go you!
Great place to shop. Shout out to security. My granddaughter was sitting on the floor, and we were standing around her. He came up and asked her if she was ok. I was impressed as it could have looked like she was being held there against her will. Great job protecting her.
A small mall:), but neat, and with a variety of stores, food court, and a small playground for kids. I almost found whatever I needed, even a battery for my hand watch in Charm store (jewelry and watches). I visited there today and couldn't be happier with this experience!
Great place to spend some time during the day if you don't have anything to do. Mall is clean and well maintained. Many great choices to choose from in the food court to eat. Lot of variety of stores. Hopefully we'll get some more addition (of stores) in the future.
The mall itself is probably not worth a whole 5 stars. Although the staff in majority of the stores are so incredibly friendly and helpful that I couldn’t go lower. Definitely would recommend visiting the Zumiez, Spencer’s, Roots and Hot Topic.
The Violence over the last year has been unbelievable. Stabbings, robbery and assault right outside the food court doors. Security does nothing. I’m so disappointed and I’m not the only one. They need real Security and intervention with
There seems to be a shortage of men's clothing stores in my opinion, that being said Marshall's is the best addition they could have added to the mall. There really isnt much to say about it, slightly over priced food in the food court,
Okay so I've been at alot of malls, and grew up near Toronto and Mississauga which have the best malls and if i'm going to review Cararaqui than i have to mention those malls because it surprises me just how well they have built and
Great mall! LOTs of great shops, there is something for everyone. I visited The Bay and Marshalls, and Starbucks. They have a big elevator in the middle of mall which was convenient for our stroller. Big mall, lots of parking.
Terrible pharmacy. Could not overstate how god awful it is. Clean but poorly staffed shoppers drug mart. Dead mall. Now with rossy it's like a Zellers but worse. Like a Dollarama but more expensive. Still not terrible.
Nice time. Not a huge mall but typical. Not much for smaller businesses or local stuff. Unfortunately I guess just smart downtowns have those Demise of the mall maybe?? Enjoy your day my friends …
Whoever the guy that does the cleaning does nothing but walks around doing nothing and expects his co-workers do the dirty work. Also he doesn’t dress professionally in uniform more like dress like a slob..
The only proper mall in Kingston! There’s nothing I can complain about. The stores, cafeterias and washrooms are always well maintained. Gets too crowded at weekends but can’t complain lol!
The mall is a great place to shop if your an adult!! The stories I hear from the kids that hang out there daily are not good it's unsafe to let your kids go there by themselves
I like the mall, I don’t spend a lot of time there anymore, but one thing I will say I’m very unhappy with the opening/closing hours since Covid! What happened to closing at 9?
Decent mall, lots of variety for younger people, and the zellers pop up is fun in HBC. I really enjoy stokes and some of the staple stores like sephora, indigo, and Starbucks.
Only currently open mall in the city and definitely the biggest. Does need some more variety with stores as their isnt much for children besides maybe 2 or 3 small stores.
Beautiful and updated mall! Totally different then from when the last time I was here! I am super impressed!. The food court is really nice and washrooms are beautiful.
The Mall is a good stop while your in Kingston. Plenty too see, especially if it's your first time going, Great choices of food in the foodcourt.
A typical mall. Mostly cell phone stores and clothing stores. Better deals elsewhere. Great food court, 9/10 for the selection at the food court.
The cat centre is alright but if you are looking for shoe u WILL need to look somewhere else because there shoe selection is very limited
Great place to go have dinner date! Food court has many choices and the bubble tea for me and the pina colada for hubby was oh so good.
As someone that does not like shopping, to put it mildly. This is a decent mall, as malls go. Pretty well has something for everyone.
Most malls are wasting away our closed but the Cat is still going strong! Every store I visited today had helpful & friendly staff.
Love the fast food. Needs some fringe stores such as Games Workshop or a return of EB games to draw me back. Needs to find a niche.
The mall has some so many renovations since I was there last . The elevator is where the escalator was. Some new stores as well
Larger than expected variety in shops. We got good service and help to find what we were looking for. Will definitely return.
Needs a bit of a refresher and some new stores. But it's clean and plenty of parking and the food court is half decent.
Nice mall and clean. Needs more stores and a sit down restaurant. Not everyone likes fast food. For this I give 3 stars
Lots of stores & pretty good food court. My first visit but I’ll probably visit again. Hopefully sooner than later.
Miss the Sears store . At least there were tools and things of interest. Now it's just another mall.
As with every mall after covid shorter hours but thier is a whole lot of new businesses to shop at
Guess it's been a while since I've shopped late at night. Didn't realize they closed at 8pm lol.
Not too many varieties of shopping choice for thr size of community. Nice environment and clean.
Lot's of shops, open areas and plenty to do here. Clean environment with lots of facilities.
Good Shopping Centre, you can find everything about shopping and also enjoy your shopping.
A good little mall. Usuay clean and not too busy. Could have better selection of stores.
Just went to pass time, mall quite slow but staff in stores very courteous and helpful.
It's ok, just a mall. Not much there other than women's clothing and jewelry
It's good place and you get all kinds of stuff there from phone to mattress.
The only real mall of Kingston imo. Great place to hang out with friends.
Got some great Nightmare before Christmas stuff. So happy with my finds
Tastefully decorated. New stores opening just in time for the holidays.
Fun shopping centre! Has most of the stores you need! Worth the visit!!
Very clean mall, everything you need for Christmas in one place.
This mall has grown so much! Or I just don't go shopping much!!
I love this mall. Very quiet environment with friendly people..
