Today after having Brunch at CoCo Fruity which is an awesome restaurant I may add, upon leaving My friend and I heard a kitten screaming in the bushes attempted to get the poor kitten out of the bushes a lot of people came to help one lady had found another kitten across the way in another bush and they had managed to get the kitten out of the bushes and reunited the kitten with its sibling I wanted to keep the kitten but did not want to separate it from its sibling after a traumatic event. I did how ever want to keep this kitten. I did not get her number just encase she was not able to keep both this may not be the best attempt to reach out. But if you do see this message and you are not able to keep both the the kittens found I would be happy to take one.

I haven't been here enough times to say much about it, except that their coffee is sub-par, and the wait for the coffee is even worse. Some of the staff were snarky when I asked about coffee, even though it is on their menu, and pulled an annoyed face when I asked if they could brew some as there was none available. I was told I would have to come back out of film to come buy some if I still wanted it. Not good business behaviour, but maybe they were having a bad day, so understandable. I'm not easily offended, so it was quite a neutral exchange. It's clean, dry and well-kept, which reflects well, so staff's behaviour doesn't really impact the viewing experience or review.

Was not at Home Depot I frequent Giant Tiger and Mary Browns chicken ND taters for Big Mary Mondays...they are the best whether with regular or spicey mayo. Bad Boy furniture was a great addition. Wish we hadn't lost Pier One Imports. I used to purchase plenty of Christmas decorations at that store. I plan to decorate to the nines this coming season and use as many decos from there as possible. Homeless is a great store as is JYSK, The Dollar Store too many to mention them all. Love Quizno's subs...gotta go back there some day and get me a Sammy if they still sell them.

I brought my dog here to have his nails trimmed but was told he was too small so she couldn't do it. This was frustrating, because I've taken him to petvalu many times since with no issues. Overall, this is not a good petsmart location. The floors are always very dirty and the selection of products is terrible. Most of the products that they do have, you can buy for less money at Ren's Pets in the same plaza. I did buy a beta fish here that has been happy and heathy but that's the only positive things that's happened from all of my visits.

Just been to Marshall’s in Kingston which opened on March 20th, not impressed at all. I have been to many of them over the years and always like them a lot, fully stocked and loads of variety and decent prices but this one in Kingston, really disappointing, prices were not so great and not a great selection either. Even though it is owned by the same company who owns Winners, Homesense, and TJ max, I don’t know know what happened here? They better smarten up and make changes otherwise I can see the tie fate similar to Target.

Pretty much anything you want you will find here. Even though in door malls are struggling to remain a float the Rio Can centre provides people with stores at near limitless space. Best for people with a vehicle. It has everything from furniture, tools, clothing, crafts, electronics, and food. It also has the Cineplex so you can enjoy a new released movie. The only thing it doesn't seem to have is a bookstore and yes it does have kitchen sinks too. The Rio Can centre also has accessibility for people with disabilities.

We rented a truck from Home Depot for our moving. At first the service was great and the manager was very patient and respectful. Unfortunately when we returned the truck the agent who was at the counter was somehow unpleasant and in fact got angry at my husband. But a manager stepped in and took care of things. Overall, we were happy with the fact that renting the truck here was more economical than the Uhaul we have rented few month prior. I definitely recommend rented moving trucks or vans from them.

Not a bad Plaza in Kingston. The plaza has a great variety of stores. There is lots of terrific parking available. This is important Mall which means it is not indoors. It's a great place to shop when you don't want the congestion of a large Shopping Center. the variety of stores will include something for the pets there's also home decor stores there's restaurants there's banking and more. Next time you're passing by stopping to the RioCan Center you won't be disappointed.

I like the riocan centre. From banking to building and office supplies Couldn't count how many stores and services located here. But all of them are so handy Even has a nice big theater and a lot of restaurants. You can shop for your pet, your car, your home and your office. Without leaving the same parking lot The riocan center has even a good selection of furniture stores, like the Brick and husk And to round out the handy stores theres Best Buy and staples

  • James Vaughan

It has a large portion of the shopping you will need to do. It's a large big-box-store complex of buildings. Stores include, but not limited to: home depot, partsource, Cineplex Odeon, multiple furniture stores, Michael's, Dollarama, PetSmart, Best Buy. Etc. Located in the west end shopping district. It's in a convenient location. Buildings are modern, with lots of parking. Plenty of restaurants in the area to grab a bite to eat.

Now let me tell you I don't live in Kingston I live 45 minutes west of Kingston I am not obviously gonna say where I reside but this outlet mall is amazing the best I have been to. IT HAS A WINNERS, HOMESENSE, A THEATER, PETSTORE AND SO MUCH MORE! I have always loved this mall since as long as I have known it from when I was 5 years old. Every time I visit Kingston it is a must go to it is my favourite outlet in Kingston!

  • Hugh Brennen

The RioCan is like the one stop shop on a large scale . I suggest you go online before you go to check out the list of stores . That way you can plan your day , afternoon or evening around what the RioCan provides . I could spend the whole day there , no pun intended . Dont forget to eat , so much to choose from . Check out a Five Guys burger or a Mary Browns burger . Dont forget your Cobbs Bread before you go home .

Certainly cheaper depending on what you're looking for. The reptiles are "farm raised" aka wild caught. Not really worth it in my opinion. But reptile products like lights and heating are decently priced. If you're looking for quail eggs, they're here. Grooming and training is available here aswell. All the cats are from the humaine society. I believe the birds, and rodents are aswell.

  • Jennifer Davieau

Every store has miserable workers. Clearly management level induced. Step up management you’re ruining the big name you’re running! City of Kingston and their miserable employees! I’d like to add they get annoyed (at every store here) when you ask for help! Smile and at least act like you enjoy working. You’re in customer service you get PAID to provide the best!

  • Jamie-lee Hunter

Was going to go in Mandarin tonight but, it turns out you can't go through the buffet. You order from a menu and they bring it to you. Which is fine but we were in a hurry so we went elsewhere. I'd been wondering though how they were doing. They could probably use more clients! We'll show them some love next time we're not pressed for time!

  • Jeannette Holman-Price

Parking lot entrances and exits more like a maze in than a shopping centre. I'm not worried about my driving I always enter a leave by a back route to avoid the newbies. I only go there for Cobbs Bread. Any of their other stores I can find elsewhere without the traffic woes. NEVER attempt to navigate that traffic quagmire after a snowfall.

  • Luke & Jackie Hill

I wouldn't use the Movie Theater as the poster child for the Rio Can as there is so much more to explore at this place. The theater is over priced and we all know that but there is plenty shopping and great restaurants to check out. I would think about changing the Rio Can title and giving the Theater its own.

  • Chris Twigg

A wide selection of box stores and banks/chain businesses. I can't fully condone since they could have made the whole place into a mall, instead of encouraging driving about, but if you are are shopping in the West end, it is a one-stop-shop for most things with the exception of any kind of grocery store.

  • LaurelE

Really weird multi-sectional plaza. A few great stores, but the parking lot is SO huge, and the plaza sections spaced so far apart that you need a car to get from store to store. No shelter from rain or any kind of public gathering area or food court - shop till you drop, then get the eff out, I guess.

  • Will Marinac

Huge diversified Shopping facility- gives nrw meaning to "one Stop Shopping". We no longer live right Close By but we always make the trek to Rio to enjoy their Shopping variety and generally excellent Customer Service. Best Pet Store in City - Rens - for prices, quality and variety of pet products.

  • Shelly (Randomized)

I like the RioCan Center for its vast amount of variety shops but only gets 4 stars for its lack of layout provided for people who don't have cars. Crossing between shops and restraunts is precarious. Walking out there is freezing in the winter with lack of protection against the heat in the summer.

  • Petrina D

I went to giant tiger. Since we are in lockdown the area was quiet. There are a few close bus stops in case you do not drive..Bus number 11 goes into the centre during the weekday and Sat every 30 mins. Nights and SUn every hour while the number 701,702 express bus stop outside the complex.

  • Suleman Khan

Outdoor Shopping Mall. Mad many stores including Best Buy, Home Depot, Staples, and many more. There are many places to dine in or take out including: Denny's, Montana's, Kelsey's; Five Guys, and many more. If you are heading out for a day of shopping check out The Rio Can Shopping Centre.

  • LM Cumming

Despite my having no shopping list I succeeded in buying several items. I was looking for patio items and was able to find a nice outdoor rug as well as an umbrella similar to the color of the rug. Next visit will be to pick up some paint for the outside door. Good shopping trip!!

  • Brittany Parkinson

There's quite a few home decor stores here, some clothing stores, some places to eat, a movie theater, etc.. However, a lot of the stores I used to come to the Riocan for, have left. Still has some good stores and reasons to visit but definitely needs more/new stores!

  • Belinda Felskie

Easy to get what you need when you have a car and can drive from one end to the other. When taking the bus the stops are always near by and walking from one store to another across the Centre can be tiring. Wide variety of stores to shop at and restaurants to eat at.

  • brandie hartwig

I live downtown and don't drive so I'm use to walking everywhere, it's scary to walk around there. no crosswalks unless it's right on Gardiners Rd, and when getting around with kids it's very stressful. we try to limit going up here for these reasons.

  • jj j

Basic outdoor shopping mall. Layout is a bit odd, and why they decided to add a roundabout is odd, if you know how to use it then it's fine but some drivers don't. OK right now but when the housing development behind plaza is done it could get messy.

  • Montana MacFarlane

Some very good stores, and good staff. Many of the stores are dog friendly as well, which is nice. Just call the stores that you want to bring your dog to before you go. Homesense/Winners always have great clearance selection and great staff as well.

  • Daryl Tremain

I was in Best Buy asking question about cell phones. I was very impressed with the service I got, the information provided by the customer service representative, his knowledge, his demeanour. I think his name was Doug. I would highly recommend him!

  • Jon Egerton

Your basic overpriced pet store. Friendly staff and a modest selection of products. Finaddicts down the street is much cheaper and the staff is more knowledgeable. I think they actually like there jobs. But they lack in the selection petsmart has.

  • shubham malik

Good shopping complex, has got cineplex which makes it more accessible for other shops, you can spend some time before or after your movie or can visit the place to shop around various stores like Winners, Marks, Home Depot, and pet smart etc.

  • Adam Legroulx

Hickory Farms has a fantastically well stocked store in the RioCan (temporary for the holiday season). If you haven't tried their products before, I urge you to give them a try. A great history of quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

  • Todd B

I should buy shares in Home Depot lol. Curbside pickup is a breeze. Bring photo ID, if you can, stay in your vehicle, staff will put items in back for you. If you must get out, remember to mask up to protect our precious front line workers.

  • Mark Coulter

Giant Tiger store here at Riocan Centre is fresh and open in space with a good selection of groceries. Their prices are reasonable to very good. They also carry a more limited supply of clothing and household items with good prices.

  • Heather Gallacher

I get my cat and dog food here. Two man perks include a loyal program which saves me $$$ and an app that has a game that can save you up to 25% off reg price item. When you buy $100 dog food that $25 bucks in savings is huge !!!

  • Clarissa Sharpe

Bought 2 gerbils at pet smart (gandalf & chicken nugget) the staff was amazing and helped us pick out the best cage, food & care accessories. Definitely happy with the experience they provided my son, buying his first pet. ❤

  • JJ Landry

Super friendly staff that always greets you when you walk into the store. Any time you have a question or are just looking for something they always have the anwser and willing to find the product that you are looking for!

  • Jennifer Price

I went into home Depot to purchase base cabinets for my kitchen I was helped by two very lovely ladies I did not get their names but I literally was in and out in 20 minutes and that's totally unheard of and most shops

  • nikki gerry Loney

I have been to many of the stores in the centre but not all. It has a hotel but off hand I can remember if it is a Holiday Inn or not. I know it has a Boston Pizza at the entrance. It has a great variety in stores

  • Chrissy Fried

Love love LOVE this place! Staff make me laugh every time I go in. They are exceptionally helpful and always steer me in the right direction. Amazing products from them always. Thank you for making this my go to!

  • K

You couldn't find a less pedestrian-friendly plaza if you tried. Time to embrace the fact people want to be able to walk and bike rather than drive; they just don't want to be risking their lives to do it.

  • Norm Simpson

Shopped at Rens Pet Store. Friendly helpful staff. Good selection of pet products. Reasonable prices. Deer chews were $4.00 for an approx 6" chew at another pet store. Ren's had a 36" deer chew for $10.

  • Julie Cayer

Went to Giant Tigers they are giving out gtmoney coupons as of now this week in November until Christmas ☃️ so I bought for Over 100. Got back 40. Gt money but that's not groceries ask cashier …

  • J.T.

Always have something good to buy. Great selection and friendly staff. Plus they donate all the food that doesn't sell to the shelters, which is wonderful. Their scones taste like donuts. So good.

  • Dane Merritt

good sotres plenty to do! seems.tjat in the last couple years some of the stores have been pulling out and leaving so maybe it won't be worth a visit in another year or two. but for now it's okay

  • William Stewart

We take our dog here for grooming. Have never had an issue. Friendly staff. Have shopped here for dog toys, treats and other accessories as well. Helpful staff when looking for products.

  • Malcolm MacPherson

Stark big box mall! Nothing really artistic about it! Bed Bath & Beyond Home Depot and Staples are my favorite stores! Used to go to Kelsey's and Montana's - I can't afford it anymore!

  • Laurie

I tried Firehouse Subs for the first time. Best sub I have ever had! Highly recommended trying it I had the the Beef Brisket with Cheddar Cheese... It was so full of flavour ...Yummy

  • Jay Eusebio

I mainly visit the Riocan because the orange box store is there. However, my kids like going to the movie theatre, and wifey like the shopping at several of the shops located here.

  • rick pim

It's a giant shopping centre -- acres of parking lot with stores around the edge. Not pedestrian-friendly in the slightest but if the stores are ones you want to go to it's useful.

  • Mary

We like the riocan for variety of stores available. Winners Homesense Michael's Giant Tiger Home Depot Cineplex Old Navy Osh kosher Mark's workwear , just to name my favorites:)

  • Dave Gabriel

Excellent staff, friendly as well. Very knowledgeable, prices aren't that bad, very good selection. Odin loves his food and loved his treat. Try it out, you might be surprised.

  • Victoria W

The parking is really poorly laid out, which can make getting around somewhat challenging. You're generally better off parking in between stores you want to visit and walking.

  • Spanky November

Grooming center was great with our dog, appointment was on time and called us for pickup. Friendly, well controlled clean. Precautions taken to ensure the health of out pet.

  • Jeff Hutchinson

Nice clean stores, lots of parking basically a place designed perfectly for commercial businesses I've never had a standout performance but I've never had a bad experience.

  • Susan

I love Structube Furniture and Home Decor. The store nicely displays what can be ordered on-line or through the store. Staff are Super friendly, polite and knowledgeable.

  • Lee Irwin

Clean and tidy store. Staff knowledgeable. But way under stocked and you are paying a very high price. And it not for quality of product but for the damn brand name.

  • Shane Blandin

Kelsey's presented delicious food as usual. Even during the uncertainty and trying times of running a business during COVID 19. Well done and thank you Kelsey's.

  • Emese Somogyvari

Sometimes I just come here to browse through all the stores. It's hard not to buy stuff. Great place to go if you're looking to decorate or buy accent furniture

My friend and I went to Spirit Halloween and I found a pair of glasses for a costume I am putting together. They're taking donations for CHEO which is awesome!

  • Thunder Chicken

It’s big and open concept with restaurants & movie theatre, can find everything from Best Buy, five guys to Home Depot, part source even Scotiabank & Denys

  • Johanna Leonhardt

Good variety of stores, some more expensive than others. Movie Theatre and Home Depot along with a few places to eat make it a good one-stop place to shop!

  • Janene M

Grouping of box stores. Decent selection, although spread out over a couple of city blocks. Usually go for food, but have also visited the (former) EB.

  • Brock Burgessihota

They need to remove this round about. It's clear that alot of drivers unfortunately don't know how to operate in one. Seen plenty of accidents here.

  • Keshia Ibbotson

This is the best popcorn on the planet. Bit pricey, but that's the expectation at all theatres really. Went and saw A Quiet Place II, awesome movie.

  • Charles Swerdfeger

I left my girlfriend here for an hour and she came out with a cart full of items. Her experience was great, however my MasterCard says otherwise! ;)
