Caversham bookseller is one of those few shops I always visit whenever I go to Toronto: I spend at least 2 hours inside searching in their nicely-categorized books. They have a small section of children’s books where titles that in other booksellers are classified by age and subjects, they reclassified them in a special order relating them to special needs they help strengthen; for instance, I found a simple story I have seen it elsewhere as a regular title about a bee story here in Caversham has been classified as a valuable book to help children with OCD. I strongly recommend it. The staff is accommodating and friendly.

I just stopped by to get a Jung book and though the store isn't yet open for browsing, one of the employees was happy to get the book I wanted for me. Though I wasn't able to go inside, I could see it's a well managed and stocked bookstore, one which I will definitely return to. I checked prices for the same book online (including Amazon and Chapters) and the price was comparable, though even if prices were to be slightly higher, I would still prefer to shop here and support an independent bookstore.

Great customer service and knowledgable sales representatives. Any psychology related book at a discounted price compared to other outlets. I recommend making your purchase online and you can either re-pay or when you pickup your order. Finding parking spot is a challenge in downtown as always but if you are just picking up an order, call the store in advance and you can use the back parking for free.

I’ve purchased from here twice, and everyone I’ve spoken to has been warm, informative and helpful. Picking up the first time was an easy experience. The second time when I wasn’t able to pick it up the same day, they kindly biked the book over as I live very close. I will definitely purchase from here again! Thank you for going above and beyond. This is why I love supporting local bookstores!

Exceptional service. A total total gem. I always check Caversham first before any of the big box book sellers. 95% of time they have it in stock. As consumers of mental health books etc; and as lovers of "real books" we must do everything we can to keep the doors of this local small business landmark open.

I was looking for very specific book, I couldnt find anywhere, but I found it here. Gentlemen here in Caversham put much effort to help me buy it and ship all the way to Poland. They were very nice and helpful all the way. Many thanks to Caversham Booksellers!!!

Caversham must be one of the best bookshops in Toronto. Every review you read is true. Knowledgeable and personal staff. Colossal inventory (in-store and online). Every time I entered, I felt glad for having done so. What a treasure.

Incredible business. Loved the experience of seeing so many therapy and mental health books in one place. I wanted to buy them all.
