Dr. Lim's office...Let me start with the good: - The doctors-though there is far too much turnover-are good - The hygienists are great That's it. There's nothing else that is good about this office. The front office is terrible. They do not schedule correctly, they do not re-schedule correctly, they do not quote correctly, they collect too much money always, and if you want to be treated poorly, they're really good at that. They can't even cancel all of your appointments when you quit them as a patient without calling you several times to try to re-schedule you. The back office. If the front office is terrible, then the back office is abysmal. They are the worst of the worst. They do not know insurance and cannot answer simple insurance questions. They do not bill in the office and therefore, timely billing and filing is simply out of the question. They will always ask for money without knowing what you actually owe, and you will always overpay. When you do end up owing money, you won't know until months later, because they don't bill with any regularity-so expect mysterious bills and balances if you are a patient here. After several years and several office staffs, my family and I decided we would no longer tolerate the headache of Dr. Lim's poor staff, poor policies, and expensive service. It's just too much. Steve: Take this advice to heart, because I'm not the only one with the same story. We will miss the relationships we have with our wonderful hygienists, but I'm happy to leave the baggage of this place behind. Note: They are scrubbing the negative reviews of their business, which should tell you a lot about their business.

I went to Dr Lim for a crown (post-op) and veneer. It was a very frustrating experience. The first crown that was made didn’t fit and I have to have a temporary crown put in and another made. But the bigger problem was the veneer. The first veneer looked great but the top was missing porcelain near the gum line. Not a big deal but Dr Lim wanted it remade. Had a temporary veneer put on while I waited another 2 weeks for a new veneer. Second veneer comes in and it looks completely different from the first and doesn’t even touch the tooth next to it. I had to push back in order to get another one made because Dr Lim insisted it looked fine. I have to wait another 2 weeks to have a third one made. Finally the third veneer comes in and I can tell it does not look like the first one. I told Dr Lim that it looked narrower than the first and he was very short with me, insisted it looked fine. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong until after it was bonded and I went home and stared at it. The corner was way too rounded and basically looked like it was missing porcelain. I am definitely not a perfectionist but when it comes to front teeth I want it to look nice, especially at this cost. I would hope a professional would see what looks wrong without me bringing it up and me pushing for it to be fixed. This should have been a two week process and turned into two month ordeal. I would not recommend anyone go to this office. I went to a different dentist who fixed it and had a MUCH better experience.

Due to a root canal, I had to redo a front tooth crown. Dr. Lim said I could just replace the one affected crown, do the two front teeth, or do the front four. I did the front four so they match and cosmetically fill in a minor space. They came out phenomenal. Dr. Lim and his assistant took time to trial fit, adjust and set them. Not only am I impressed and happy, my wife and daughter said the look beautiful and natural. I am coming back, to slightly whiten the rest of my teeth to make them look even better. I am not going for LA chuckle teeth, I want them to look naturally perfect. I also called my sister on the East Coast to price check and the prices were exactly the same. So, while I spent a decent amount of money, the pricing was competitive and they look great. Two thumbs up!

Center for Advanced Dentistry is an outstanding dental office with state of art equipments and excellent dental group which provide the best service in the South Bay. I have been Dr. Lim’s patient over 12 years and consistently received the best dental care. My hygienist Sarah always is gentle, friendly, professional, and courteous. Presently under their dental care, I have the healthiest dental health among my age group. Dr. Lim has also treated all my family members for a long time. My husband needed an implant and mouth reconstruction and Dr. Lim did an outstanding job to bring back his smile and dental health. I highly recommend Center for Advanced Dentistry to everyone seeking the best professional dentistry in the BayArea.

Awesome service at the front and back of the house. Steven was the first to answer my call and he was very attentive and friendly. I came to CFAD to get my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Phan. The surgery was quick and painless and my healing was quick. Definitely recommend going to Dr. Phan for oral surgery. After coming here for wisdom teeth removal I entrusted my dental health to their care team. Sheila (hygienist) made me feel super comfy and leaves my teeth feeling sparkly. She has great chair side manners. Lovely person and great hygienist. I appreciate that the work this team does is collaborative and they make me feel comfortable in the office. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was referred by my regular dentist for broken implant from a previous implant specialist., as he had retired. Dr Lim explained that I could leave without harm or take a chance to do the implant surgery again. No pressure from Dr Lim or his staff, , the were warm , friendly and knowledgeable. Steve at the front desk , Gabby and others I cannot remember their names , but I would like to thank them for making me feel safe. . The informed surgery was pain free , and went well and was comfortable, I had 4 on one , not completely finished yet. I remain very optimistic. Thank you., I would refer friends and family .

Dr. Lim is an incredible and caring man. He always maintains his professionalism. Lots of dentists get very casual with patience, but I really appreciate his professional attitudes. His staff is always on top of their game and the facility is outstanding. I was able to watch my favorite shows and also listen to music or take breaks to talk to the staff when needed. Highly recommend this practice. Also, my teeth have never looked better. I've had several procedures and they just keep getting better and better.

I can't say enough about Dr Steve Lim. If you are looking for someone who does amazing work then you should stop looking and make an appointment with him. He corrected a failed implant for me and most recently I made the mistake of going to another dentist and my bite was thrown off. Again I went to Dr Lim and he corrected the issue. Going forward I will only go to this office for work. I have spent more money correcting mistakes that others have made.

Been a very satisfied patient at Center for Advanced Dentistry for several years. Just had my first interaction with Dr. Tully, and he is another star at this practice. I'm usually a bit anxious to face the drill for cavities and crowns, but Dr. Tully did a supreme job of making sure I was properly numb and comfortable throughout the procedure. Happy to give a 5-star rating and unconditional recommendation to anyone looking for a top-rate dental group!

I had two fillings today by Do. Tully. Dr. Tully gave me the best painless shot in my upper jaw. No pain at all. He also has a great sense of humor. I have been going here ever since Dr. Lim opened their Doors. The doctor’s and staff always treat me well from the front office to the dentist chair. I have Parkinson’s which makes me shake a lot and they help me relax. They are always professional and kind with me.

I had a great experience from first entering the reception area, the wait was short. My scheduled cleaning with Sarah was on time and as always, she is comforting and does an excellent job. Dr. Perez completed my exam. She was very thorough and asked if I had any questions regarding what was done during my visit. I am very happy with my visit and the service I received. I have been a patient for over 5 years.

Stumbled across Dr Lim due to other DDS retired ~implant crown came off & he was able to do a Gingivectomy ‘cutting away some gum around the post’ for the implant crown to be recemented, all in one visit. I was grateful impressed and happy with all the professionalism in the office! The doctor & staff were friendly & kind! I left feeling overwhelmed with a good experience!! A++

If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff is extremely unprofessional, bill you for procedures that you were not supposed to be billed for. Does not take covid protocols seriously. Dr. takes his mask off with all patients. If you’ve been a patient for a while, you can notice a consistent staff turnover, that alone should tell you something with this office is not right.

Staff was warm and welcoming. I suffer from extreme PTSD when it comes to dental appointments. I felt very comfortable. They chose a plan that worked for me and that I could afford. My case was a complex case and Dr. Lim was excellent at figuring out the best way to get the right treatment. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who needs work done right.

Dr. Lim is great. He is not only highly competent in general dentistry and implants, he really cares about each of his patients. I highly recommend him and his practice. The dental hygienist is also great - highly professional. She recognizes each patient has unique issues and works hard to make it a pleasant experience.

I had an urgent dental issue. My dentist could not do it for me. So, I called Dr. Steve office and I got same day appointment. He really took care of my needs. Thanks a lot Dr. Steve. No waiting on appointments. Facilities are clean & well maintained. Staff is friendly & efficient. I'm 72 & have been going in for checkups since I was little (usually every 6 months or sooner) and at Center for Advanced Dentistry I never feel like they're looking for items to fix. Honest!

My procedure went smooth and pain free. Dr. Lim, his assistant and staff were great to work with. Very attentive, friendly and professional. They did a crown prep and so far all is good. Be back for the fitting of my new crown in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Dr. Lim made a fantastic job. He replaced 4 locators in the upper denture with the denture realignment so accurately that no corrections was needed. Dr. Lin provided very clear explanation of the possible modifications in the future. I am very happy the Dr. Wong referred me to Dr. Lim.

The building was beautiful inside as we're all the people they are so nice. I was made fun of and litterally laughed out of two dentists then came here and they are the absolute best! DR.lim is so professional and removed the tooth in a matter of mins. Will be coming back
