PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a car which has done 209,000km for just under $5,000. I am a single parent who often transports small kids. Within the first fortnight, the car hasn't been turning on properly (it will take me three goes to get it to kick over, sometimes up to 20 minutes. I have called the RAA out twice, but I've managed to start it before they arrive). The car also conks out WHILE DRIVE, sometimes AT SPEED. I contacted Paul 13 days after sale via sms and said, '.. I bought a Kia Rio from you 2 weeks ago. I have been waiting to write your Google review as I wanted to see how the car runs. Unfortunately, it seems to have trouble starting often, and can completely conk out at times when I am waiting at traffic lights. Today it conked out while I was driving. I have had a death in the family, which is why I haven't contacted you sooner. Is there anything you can do to help me out with these issues?...' He responded via sms and said I should call him the next day. I misread it that he would call me the next day. I then contracted covid. It has now been 29 days since I bought the car and the engine light is permanently on. After playing phone tag for three days, Paul told me today that as the car has done over 200,000km, he is not legally obliged to fix it and I should take it to my own mechanic. I asked him, 'so, you are fine with selling me a car which conks out whilst I am driving?' His response was, that it wasn't a case of being fine, but his legal responsibilities. I am incredibly disappointed. I feel that he treated me very unprofessionally. It's not even the cost; it's the principle. I have never bought from a dealer before and I never will again. I feel completely taken advantage of. I feel very hurt by this experience, and I hope others don't succumb to the same fate as I.

Look no further, I would highly recommend Challenge Motors. I had been car shopping at two different dealerships in Adelaide, and my experience was not pleasant and I felt ignored. Paul is very friendly and honest, down to earth and an absolute delight to do business with. Paul was amazing. He was honest, friendly and helpful. The car was perfectly priced, clearly loved and meticulously serviced. The car had only just been traded the day before and didn’t even have photos up yet. We had jumped in early because we knew exactly what we wanted and this car was it. Now another salesman could have just sent us home with the car done deal. But Paul insisted the car must first be checked over and meet the company expectations on what a good used car should be including serviced and brakes. I really appreciated that. Do NOT buy from these people. It has been a while since we bought our car. The experience was a disaster. When test driving the car we noticed a noise and asked if there was an issue, Paul said no it’s all good. Turned out this was a complete lie. In fact there were and still are heaps of issues. We went back asking for it to be repaired but all we got was verbal abuse. I am to this day very upset. It cost us a lot of nerves and money. Buying our first family car together was suppose to be a nice event instead we got treated as liars, got jelled at, had to take extra days off, go days without a car, spend a lot of extra money and cost me loads of tears. I never want to deal with them again.

Wonderful experience with Challenge Motor Company (especially Paul). I really appreciated the time, patience and eventual price we came too. Gareth and Paul went the EXTRA mile to help me purchase the vehicle I desperately wanted. The transaction took 3 days and Paul was always available to be reached and to answer any questions. He was extremely helpful with explaining everything down to the last letter. There was a part that needed to be replaced before I took the car from the lot and Paul was quick to get it replaced properly and efficiently. Was weiry buying a car especially with what I was looking at spending and the repayments I needed something family friendly and reliable. I found an abundance of cars here at challenge motors to chose from and after a hiccup or two with my finance company Paul from here was able to help me find the right car. Just bought my car from Paul at challenge. Very happy with the car and very happy with the service I received. Friendly and helpful staff who were happy to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend them. Just an update, beware of dodgy repair jobs! Bit rough when a car wash can wash out a shoddy repair. Very disappointing. What a difference 8 weeks can make. All that glitters is definitely not gold. The transmission in my car died and all I got for my trouble was a lot of swearing and a refusal of any help. Very very unimpressed.

I bought a vehicle off Paul over the phone from the NT and, despite my anxiety at never having bought a 4wd before and not having seen the vehicle, I'm pleased to say that it was an absolute fantastic purchase. I also got an independent inspection done by Mobile AutoCare and they confirmed it would be a great buy. I picked it up Saturday and I'm already back up in Alice Springs today (Wednesday) and it's driven like a dream the whole way. We picked up a car from Paul today. We test drove it on Saturday morning, Paul came with us and he was lovely. He explained the pros and cons of the two cars we were looking at to help us make our decision. We bought the car on the day and the process was easy and smooth. Negotiation was friendly. I called to ask about a car for sale the worst-case experience I have ever had with a car dealer, very evasive one word answer's was not professional in any way at all, he didn't seem like he wanted to sell the car or he was afraid to answer questions.
