If I could give a ten star rating for this dealership I would. Andrew the owner went above and beyond all my epectations. I read the reviews on here, and even though I live an hour and fifteen minutes drive away, I am very glad I chose this caryard. The original car I wanted was not ready to go when I purchased it, so Andrew lent me anpther car tp drive home in, and muy car was going to be delivered the next day. I received a phone call the next night, saying the car I had already signed the paperwork for (no warranty) had an issue, and that the driver noticed the timing belt had a slight issue, and that he couldn't sell me the car knowing this. He then offeted me my money back, and said I could use the loan car for a week while I found a new one. I did not want to get a refund so Andrew found me another car the same as the one I had purchased, said try it for a week, and if you are not happy he would find me another. The Holden was a great car but as I am waiting for a spinal fusion it was a bit heavy on the steering. Andrew then found me a Ford, and I love it. I am so greatful that Andrew took so much effort to find me the perfect car, and to deliver it so I did not have to travel back to the dealership. I am blown away by the way they went so out of their way to help me. He could easily have just sold me that first car, as I had already signed all the paperwork. But he was so honest, and then went to so much trouble, he actually went out and brought the type of car I wanted, and had it checked out to make sure it was mechanically sound. Sold me a car that broke down after a day. Wouldn't recommend. Update: They called me to take the review off because it affects their business.They left voicemails and was annoying me by calling. Replying to the reply: I called and asked for a refund I was told by Todd that he would discuss it with Andrew, but the fact is there's a cooling off period which you guys didn't want to honour, then you said it was okay to get a refund. So you didn't "give" me a refund, you had to. I was initially told that the car wasn't serviced by one of your maintenance guys and you said you had a go at him for it, then you said the car was washed and it dampened the electronics, but why would you not let that dry properly? Especially in the circumstances that I gave you guys notice that I was buying the car as I put a deposit down and came back at a later date. The least you could have done is prepare the car, KNOWING that I was buying it that day. Yes you did loan me a car, but I barely used it because I didn't want anything to happen to it, because if it did I would have to be involved with you guys, and I definitely didn't want that to happen. Also, take me off your call list, thanks.

Put a 500$ deposit on a car to hold it as they replaced the battery. The salesperson was extremely friendly. Went back a few days later to test drive, and there was an extremely loud noise coming from the breaks the whole time driving it. Took it back to the yard and expressed I didn't want to buy a car that had noises like that coming from the breaks, after that his whole demeanour changed, He kept insisting it was one little thing and and easy fix and said we will proceed with the sale then he'll get it fixed. I told him I'm not comfortable doing that and I didn't want the car, he was very pushy, and made me feel stupid for not purchasing the vehicle. I only gave a two star as I got my deposit back in 2 hours which was great. Terrible and extremely uncomfortable experience.

Thanks Todd for all of your help - very much appreciated. The Ford Focus is amazing - love, love, love it. It was such a pleasure to drive all of that distance in it yesterday. Only thing I was unhappy about, that my trip ended & I eventually arrived home. There is no comparison between the Laser & this gorgeous Focus. So comfortable to drive & holds the road perfectly. I think I will be finding excuses to go out driving every single day - he he he :D Went to Victor Harbor today, via Yankalilla & that road didn't seem as rough, in the Focus. My nephew is really impressed & says he would like one, so you might get another customer sometime (y) If I hear of anybody wanting a car, I will be sending them to you <3

Andrew was a breath of fresh air when buying a car. I found his communication professional, efficient, warm, friendly and honest. There was no doubt that he had my best interests at heart. He was willing to go out of his way to give me a variety of in-house options to ensure that I got what I needed... and was supportive of options to purchase interstate. Andrew was more than happy to help ensure I had a good deal by supporting me with helpful processes for the initial inspection of my interstate care, and continued to provide options to ensure that transport would be affordable and practical. I fully recommend this car dealership!

DO NOT APPROACH! One of the worst customer experiences I have ever dealt with and was dealing face to face with the owner Andrew. He didn't have to time of day to lift his face from his phone even though I had patiently waited for close to an hour after they had told me the wrong location to go to and forgot to bring trader plates for me to have a test drive. Also when I raised issues of there being 3 cases of the vehicle not being serviced for 50k intervals, his response was that 'they probably forgot to write in the log book' I then felt that he attempted to bully me into a purchase. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE.

I never usually do reviews but Andrew and his team did such a fantastic job of looking after me and my partner that it's only fair. Came out from the UK for a year to work and was a bit apprehensive about buying a used car which would turn out to be a dud and always breaking down. After looking around we got an old ford fiesta (new clutch and battery put in before I bought it) which was in excellent condition for a very reasonable price and after one year Andrew bought it back with minimal hassle for a very generous amount. Bought a nice and clean Veloster from Somerton Car Sales and was happy with there likeable team and overall help and friendliness. About a week after purchasing the car I had a problem with a coil pack (serviceable part that you can never pick when they’ll break). I traded in my old Pajero against a newer Prado. After Andrew and his guys had checked the Pajero I received a very fair trade in price that matched prices I had found on the internet. Pretty much your standard privately owned car yard, the do their best to persuade you... Few issues with the car they said they'd fix which they did by damaging other things. Did their best to not mention the registration status of the car till I brought it up. Finally got a price with them and they rushed me round on the day and told me it was drive away price but hit me with stamp duty.

I have dealt with Andrew and Will on a couple of occasions now. They both are very knowledgable in the cars they stock and have been able to answer any questions that i had quickly and honestly. My last experience with Will, we felt like we were treated like family. Would recommend this company if your on the hunt for a used car…..especially in this market!!!

I bought a 16 year old Holden Commodore at Somerton Car Sales. The service that Andrew offered was excellent and the paperwork went smooth.
