James from Charlotte Plumbing fixed all of my problems in one visit and he did it right THE FIRST TIME. At first, there was a strange smell in the house. I thought it might’ve been a natural gas leak. I bought a meter on Amazon but it wasn’t detecting any gas. As we all know, buying a product like that on Amazon is a hit or miss. Just to be safe, I called the fire department to have someone come out and make sure everything was alright. They used a gas meter to try to detect if there was a gas leak, and they couldn’t find ANYTHING. They agreed there was still a strange smell, so I had a company come out and take a look for me. The gas company that came out turned the gas off to my fireplace since the smell seemed to be concentrated mostly in one area of the house right next to the fireplace. They said if the smell goes away in a couple of days then that must’ve been the culprit. The smell never went away, so they came back to the house to turn the gas back on about 5 days later. The smell started getting worse. I was already having migraines everyday, and now I was starting to get nose bleeds. I asked them if it could be sewer gas since the smell seemed to be worse when I was using the water. They told me that I should go ahead and call a plumber. Before I called the Charlotte Plumbing, I looked opened up the door to the crawl space of the house. It had no smell, and the crawl space is in great shape. I’m not a professional in gas or plumbing, but I wanted to make sure this plumbing company knew I did my due diligence to narrow the problem down. I mentioned the fact that the crawl space seemed perfectly fine, and that the smell seemed to be coming from the baseboard downstairs next to the gas fireplace, but also when I ran a lot of water like laundry. As soon as James stepped in the house, he immediately agreed that the smell was off. Within 5 minutes he detected a gas leak and opened up the wall. He said that the gas leak was so bad the whole house could’ve blown if I lit a candle or anything in the house. He said the reason why the plumbing seemed tied to it was because the pipes have little vents that suck in air from the crawl space to operate properly. Within 4 hours he fixed the gas leak entirely, and even fixed 3 of my slow running drains in the house. James said, “That surprises me that the gas company couldn’t figure this out. They’re usually a really good company that’s really cautious. The guy that came over must’ve been new or something. All you have to do is actually listen to the customer and they’ll tell you exactly what and where the problem is.” I am so impressed by Charlotte Plumbing. James was courteous, respectful, clean (he even wore little protectors over his shoes to protect my wood floors), punctual (they gave me a window of 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM) and James was knocking on my front door at 8:02 AM), and he is a real pro. TLDR: I recommend this company to everyone. 10/10 experience.if you want the job done right the first time, call these guys. They’ll save you money, your house, and in my case my life!

I had a plumber named Josh that at first I have a good review. I came back to edit my review because he came to inspect a leak in my bathroom by way of my rental agency. He told me that the leak in my bathroom might have been from water leaking but wasn’t sure, so because of that, he would let the rental agency know that the problem wasn’t our fault. So I gave him a great review and left it alone. A couple days later, they sent a guy out to do a little spray painting over the water spots and that was it. Next thing I know, My rental agency is charging me hundreds of dollars for repairs. Josh told them that we didn’t have Matts down in the bathroom. And we didn’t but that’s only because they had been removed before he got there so they wouldn’t be in the way. Then he told them that there was mold from leaking water at the bottom of the tub when it’s not mold but chipped paint on the wooden strip that’s placed at the base of the tub. He completely lied to us and made it seem like we were neglectful and destructive. These guys turned out to be con artist. Nothing but liars. He smiled in my face, then told lies to the rental agent costing me hundreds of dollars. I wouldn’t mess with these dishonest people at all. They’re no good. Character and integrity is everything. They definitely don’t have it.

Charlotte Plumbing did a great job renovating our master bathroom 12 years so I called them to get a quote on a new water heater. They could provide a quote over the phone, which was slightly less than other quotes I received so I accepted, and they scheduled the new installation for the next day. James, the plumber, was exactly on time and very obviously knew exactly what he was doing. He had all the necessary tools and knowledge do do the work efficiently and cleanly. He was in and out within two hours. I highly recommend Charlotte Plumbing! This is a continuation of my rave for Charlotte Plumbing in addition to the above that I posted a few days ago. I had a pinhole in a water line (my own fault) in a very tight location. Charlotte Plumbing was able fix it by sending a plumber with the right experience and tools to do the job that the technician from a highly advertised company couldn't do, and indeed added to the problem. The icing on the cake was that the bill was a small fraction of what the big company quoted for the same repair. Charlotte Plumbing is most definitely my go-to plumber from now on!

This is our second time using Charlotte Plumbing and they just keep hitting the mark. For this project we needed to change out our old in-coming galvanized pipe from the 1950s that runs between two giant pin oaks in our yard and a repair needed to be done to the sewer line. The owner (Damion) was very responsive and answered a million questions for me and was never pushy. Their prices were excellent compared to the other 4 quotes I received from other companies. Day of they arrived exactly when they said they would. Brandon and Kevin did an *excellent* job! Brandon ran through everything with me and they left my yard looking GREAT (which was a big worry). They let me throw down my seed of choice before they covered it with a nice layer of straw and they even waited patiently while I tested out our new water pressure and made sure our older pipes didn't do anything crazy. Great guys, great company. I'll definitely be giving them a call for our next project.

Have a leak in water line and this company had two very nice gentlemen come out to access. After trying their best to find the leak, cutting out concrete drive …etc. they would need to get another crew out to fix the following day. Unfortunately, that was over 48 hours ago and I have been without water for 2 days and they have yet to call regarding what is going on. Still no water, no follow up call, no call at all! All it takes is a simple follow up call and they would’ve been aware I am still without water. I understand that I may not be a top priority but communication is key. Owner of the property has reached out several times and nothing! Very unprofessional. A phone call would be appreciated, even if to tell us this is beyond something they can fix! Willing to update review if things change.

I discovered I had a water leak in my bathroom this morning, and I'm so grateful that Christina and Josh were able to help me out--all in a few hours. Christina returned my call promptly, and she reached out not 10 minutes later to say a technician was on the way. Josh was personable and knowledgeable, and listened patiently as I described the situation. Although he had to drill a hole in my ceiling to figure out where the water in my ceiling was coming from, he covered my whole living room with plastic to contain the mess. Josh showed me what was going on and recommended a few solutions. He then cleaned up the plastic and even vacuumed my living room for me. Now THAT is going the extra mile. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend!

I've used Charlotte Plumbing twice now, with Marty being the most recent. Great communication on when he'd be there and incredibly gracious and courteous when he arrived. He did a great job, quick and clean on the repair, and was patient with as I asked him questions while he was doing it. Great pricing, great repair, great service on two occasions now. I literally could not be happier with the experience. Great company. *Update - Marty was out again to our house for a water heater that had turned into just water storage. Same great communication and he had it fixed before lunch the same day. Great guy - very patient and thoroughly explained what was wrong and the fix. I was I could give him another five stars.

I am so excited to write this review. We have tried to get HOT water in our house for several years. We bought a new gas hot water heater over a year ago. Still, the water was just warm. We have paid a few thousand dollars for the water heater and several companies to come out to get HOt water. I found Charlotte Plumbing by researching online. They had lgood ratings. We talked to them on Monday and Tuesday morning Nick showed up. In about two hours, which included Nick's trip to Lowe's, we have HOT water. We had to turn the thermastat down, and I wear gloves to wash dishes! Don't waste money and time calling other companies And if you get Nick, consider yourself blessed. He is the best plumber you can get!

Would definitely recommend Charlotte Plumbing to anyone who wants fast, friendly and quality service! Josh was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He explained the whole issue based on his experience and verified with his equipment to ensure that his assumptions were correct. I never felt out of the loop and learned quite a bit by just talking to him. He fixed the issue and made recommendations on what to do as preventable maintenance to ensure that the same issue won’t happen again. I can not recommend Charlotte Plumbing highly enough. I called them this morning because the toilet at the apartment I’m visiting overflowed. Josh’s service was prompt and efficient. He was friendly and explained everything clearly to this plumbing novice. Christina, who took my initial call, was so kind and got me connected with Josh as quickly as possible. Josh and Christina even gave me a discount because my father passed away yesterday and I’ve been experiencing a very hard couple of days. Mike is an awesome technician. He repaired a leak before and was amazing, so I used Charlotte Plumbing again for a new toilet installation based on that experience. To say Mike is professional is an understatement. He is prompt, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He gets right to it and wastes no time, removed old unit in a clean manner, stays to make sure there are no leaks, and just goes above and beyond in all aspects. Great experience and highly recommend. Called Charlotte Plumbing for an issue that came up with my shower fixture overnight. After a few questions, was quoted a price and offered same day service. Matt arrived on time and quickly diagnosed and confirmed the same issue I discussed with the scheduler. The work was completed and I was charged the amount quoted. Matt was courteous, polite, and left the house clean. Will definitely use them in the future if needed and recommend as well. Great job all around!

The technician Josh from Charlotte plumbing was punctual, very skilled and knowledgeable of his job, helpful in explaining the operation of the plumbing system he was working on, informative of what may need to be done in the future, and very courteous throughout his entire time here. Although future service is necessary, he was able to get the system functioning until such service is performed. Would definitely recommend this company again! 5 STARS easy!

The gas company shut off my gas as they had detected a leak. Charlotte plumbing was able to come out on an emergency call to fix the leaking gas fitting within a few hours of calling them the same day. The technician Matt was friendly and quick at fixing the problem, while also explaining what was wrong. Their quick response allowed me to get the gas turned back on the same day so we had heat at night. I would definitely recommend Charlotte Plumbing.

Hands down Charlotte Plumbing is now my go to plumbing company. Their staff is phenomenal starting with Damien and Christine they were both very attentive to my plumbing issue. The plumber assigned to my problem was named Guitar. This gentleman was very professional and knowledgeable he diagnosed the sewer drain issue and resolved the problem. Charlotte Plumbing was up front and honest and most of all the service call was very reasonable.

Christine was very gracious and professional setting up the appointment utilizing text and phone to keep me abreast of the arrival of the tech as I was in a meeting at work. Once the tech arrived (after message from Christine stating he was 20 minutes away), Josh was professional and quickly assessed the issue and started the process of clearing the drain. He was able to resolve the issue within a hour. Truly appreciative the help!

I called for someone to come out to help this Monday 10-11-21 and Tuesday Josh arrived at the time they called and said he would. Josh was knowledgably and very professional. He walked me through everything and explained what caused the issues we were having. He was able to fix it right on the spot for us, told me it would take about 30 minutes and he got right to it. RB was GREAT!!! He was super professional and he came out after us not having hot water for 3 days- even though he was off today he agreed to come and help us. Our old water heating unit was old and not able to be repaired and he grabbed us a beautiful new unit and replaced it for us. We are SO HAPPY to have hot water again. Steven was absolutely amazing. He diagnosed the problem with the natural gas feed to our dryer and had everything all set in no time flat. Steven also has a really respectful, professional manner and explains the issue and what needs to be done. He previously took care of a bathtub leak and was also top-notch. Richard from Charlotte Plumbing was great. He was on time and super efficient. He fixed the problem we were having with our kitchen sink in under 20 minutes, and was able to explain why it was happening. Richard was also able to resolve a separate dish washer issue in the process. Hoping we don't have another issue in the near future, but if we do, I'll be asking for Richard!

We’ve had Matt come over twice and both experiences have been exceptional. We had a shower leak and our kitchen faucet break. Both times we called at night and then the next morning he was here! Not only does he do a great job but he is so good with our kids who are interested in everything he’s doing. He even let my son help change the faucet. 10/10 experience!

Stephan from Charlotte Plumbing was truly a professional. He was able to repair my toilets in what seemed like record timing. I originally requested to repair one toilet and since I had two toilets with the same issues, I asked if he could repair the second one. He was able to accommodate! No more running toilets in either bathrooms.

I can't describe how professional, clean, and FAST Josh was. He installed two toilets perfectly in a FLASH. Horrible customer service, I do not know the plumbers name but he records everything he does & puts it on tik tok, I asked what’s a rough estimate for a water heater he replies $10,000 I would never refer or do business with these scam artist update the plumbers tik tok is the conservative plumber horrible customer service
